Enable MCC Browser Play - Android Device Guide

REQUIREMENTS
o An Android Phone or Tablet (iDevice users, follow this guide instead: [will add soon])
o tPacketCapture app - available on the Google Play Store
o WireShark - www.wireshark.org
o A user-agent switcher extension for your browser of choice
FireFox: UAControl
Chrome: User-Agent Switcher for Chrome
o Adblock Plus

NOTE: This guide was written with Windows 7 in mind.

ACQUIRING THE USER-AGENT STRING
1. Get tPacketCapture for your Android device and run it, tap on the Capture button and trust the application when asked to

2. Start Moe Can Change and do some MAD TAPZ to generate data

3. Disconnect the tPacketCapture connection and press the File List tab.

4. You will now see a generated .pcap file. Make sure you can access this file on your computer, either by using the USB connection, or by sending the file to your e-mail account / G-Drive / etc

5. Start up WireShark and open the pcap-file (File > Open > yourcapturedfile.pcap)

6. Hit Ctrl+F to open the Find Packet search window. Under Find, select String. Then under Search In, select Packet Details. Finally, enter user-agent as the search term and press Find. The user-agent entry it finds should look similar to the following example:

(xxxxx... is a unique ID-string, hence not shown here)

7. Rightclick on the string, Copy > Value and paste it in a document. Save it for later.

MAKING MCC WORK IN YOUR BROWSER
FOR CHROME/CHROMIUM
1. Install User-Agent Switcher for Chrome and go to its Options

2. Create a new custom user agent
New User-agent name: Moe Can Change
New User-Agent String: Paste captured string here
Group: Leave blank
Append?: Replace
Indicator Flag: MCC
Press Add

3. Click on Permanent Spoof list
Domain: amz-aws.jp
User-Agent String: Moe Can Change
Press Add

4. Install Adblock Plus and restart Chrome, hit the ABP button and click on Options

5. Click on the Add Your Own Filters tab and add the following line:

6. Close the tab and surf to http://us-moe-app.amz-aws.jp/ to enjoy sweet, sweet browser play!

FOR FIREFOX
1. Install UAControl, restart Firefox and open UAControl's Options

2. Click on Add Site
Site: amz-aws.jp
Action: Custom: Paste captured string here
Hit OK

3. Install Adblock Plus and restart Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+F to open the Filter Preferences

4. Click on the Custom Filters tab, add a new Filter Group and give it a name

5. Now click on the Add Filter button and paste the following line:

5. Close the window and surf to http://us-moe-app.amz-aws.jp/ to enjoy sweet, sweet browser play!

Known Firefox issue: Certain elements are not rendered correctly since they're coded specifically for Chrome-like browsers.
