Step 1. Create a virtual machine (o_O) on your computer using a software such as virtualbox (download it from here: https://www.virtualbox.org/)

Step 2. Install any Linux distro on that virtual machine. Set up your virtual machine's network adapter to use NAT (Network address translation). And of course, ensure that your virtual machine's MAC address is different from your physical computer's MAC address.



*** Several hours pass ***



Step 3. Create a temporary email address using a website like: http://www.guerrillamail.com/

Step 4. Go to your Dropbox account and invite this email address.

Step 5. Wait for some time to get the invite at the temporary email address.

Step 6. Create the account using the link in the email.

Step 7. Install dropbox on the virtual machine. Link the account you just created.

Step 8. You have successfully finished the referral process. Profit from the newly acquired 250MB (500MB if you are a student and linked your .edu email address).

Step 9. Unlink the account from the dropbox application on the virtual machine. Go to the newly created dropbox account and delete it (from the website).

Step 10. Did you max out your storage via referrals? If no, go to Step 3.

P.S. I don't know if Dropbox can detect foul play here. So, do it only a few times at once.
