  1. Inquisitor Bolse would loan accolytes to other inquisitors. Sometimes it was to repay a favor or because they asked. Other times he did it on his own initiative. Jafar Bespucci was one of the inquisitors he loaned Nigel to. (There were some Nigel hated by the end and some Nigel liked by the end. Jafar was one of the ones he liked)
  2. Jafar was a newly minted inquisitor at the time (and very much a young prodigy since he wasn’t even 50 yet), with an attitude to mach. Bolse liked Jafar and so sent some hand picked acolytes to help him get established and beat the “noob” out of him before an enemy could do it.
  3. Nigel and Jafar fought and rubbed eachother the wrong way back then (Nigel was already over 100 and Jafar had all the attitude of a hotshot upstart) but by the end of their time together they got along well and though highly of one another.
  4. That was a long time ago and Jafar has changed a lot since then. Where once he was a go-gettem, lead from the front field agent, he is now a wise and scholarly planner and mastermind who sit atop a vast pyramid of operations and projects while focusing his personal attention on projects the deems worthy of that level of attention.

  6. Jafar Vespucci
  7. Gender: Male
  8. Age : 173 (Venerable : By now an Inquisitor may be (in)famous and have cemented their reputations.)
  9. Ordo Xenos
  10. Titles
  11. One Facility title: Steward, Custodian, Administrator, Governor and Castellan are all titles an Inquisitor may possess if they are in charge of a particular facility, ideal for Inquisitors Historical or Theoretical that spend a lot of time in research archives at Inquisitorial strongholds, ‘holding down the fort’.
  12. Two Miscellaneous titles: This could be pretty much anything, as in nick-names or popular names granted by compatriots or enemies, and so are usually informalities left out of official documentation. Examples include ‘Psykerbane’, ‘Lucky’, ‘Warhound’, ‘Thrice-Blessed’ or names ending in ‘the ……’ (such as ‘the Invincible’, ‘the Pure’, ‘the Cursed’, etc).
  13. Philosophy: Moderate - Inquisitors of a moderate bent are neither frothing fanatics nor entirely skeptical figures, preferring the middle path in their investigations. They do not condone the use of non-Imperial weaponry, but they are not big on mass burnings at the stake either.
  14. Methodologies
  15. - Pericula In Mora (Danger in delay): Knowing all too well that to hesitate for a moment could sign the death warrant of an entire world, informed haste as opposed to blind speed is their watchword.
  16. - Arte Et Marte (By skill and by fighting): ‘The more you bleed in training, the less you’ll have to bleed in battle,’ seems an ideal motto for the more martially-inclined.
  17. - Potentia Per Scientia (Power through knowledge): ‘Know thine enemy, for you are known to him already’ – first tenet of the Ordo Xenos.
  18. Psychic Ability: None
  19. Quirks
  20. - Illness: A vile malady racks the Inquisitor’s body. I’ll leave it to you.
  21. - Celibacy: Jafar foregoes romantic relationships and sexual relations. You decide why.
  22. Resources
  23. Exotic: Alien, Mechanicus warship, Astartes vessel, Arbites Punitive frigate, etc.
  24. - Since this could be anything and it might be in his possession for any reason I’ll let you pick.
  25. Dictator-Class cruiser. (rolled for a “carrier of some sort”)
  26. • Jafar amasses large amount of information on enemis of the imperium, he probably has an archive on one of the ships
  27. Special contact
  28. Assassinorum Temple: The Inquisitor has a powerful contact, possibly to do with the Ordo Sicarius, and can gain access to a deadly Assassin of one of the six temples.
