  1. -Knot Here, Not Now- by Toga
  2.
  3. She slowed her pace to replenish her strength. She had been bouncing for what felt like ages. Her legs were tired, and she was more than happy to have Nick take over. He slowly pistoned in and out before picking up a more fevered pace.
  4.
  5. “Slower, Nick.”
  6.
  7. “Says the bunny that was going a mile a second,” he laughed softly into her forehead, but obliged nonetheless.
  8.
  9. Judy took a deep breath, listening to the heartbeat in his chest compete with the rain pattering against the window. “I can’t catch my breath when you keep knocking it out of me,” she said.
  10.
  11. “Okay, okay, slow and steady it is. Never thought I’d hear a bunny say that. Isn’t that how one of your folk heroes lost a race to a turtle?”
  12.
  13. “That’s a fable, not a folk hero,” she giggled. “I can’t catch my breath if you make me laugh, too.” He slowed even more, allowing her to feel every single bit of him entering and leaving, pushing and pulling. He had done everything she had asked and still her breath would hitch in her throat with every stroke. All the way out, all the way in–she felt something a tad larger than the rest of him on the last pump.
  14.
  15. “When are we going to try–y'know. All of you?” she asked coyly, stealing a glance upward into his gaze. He didn’t grasp the question at first, but his eyes widened a moment later.
  16.
  17. “When I’m sure it won’t hurt you. Also when I’m sure you want to be stuck to me for an hour.”
  18.
  19. “We’re together most of the day,” she said. “Another hour couldn’t hurt.”
  20.
  21. “Well, you say that now…” He rested his chin atop her head, looking down her back to watch her fluffy little tail jump in time with his thrusts. “We’ll give it a go next time. For now, how ‘bout we focus on the activity at hand?”
  22.
  23. She braced her paws on his chest, pushing herself up until she was straddling him again, smiling wide and looking overall a bit devious. “If you say so. I’ve got my breath back, guess I could go another twenty minutes.”
  24.
  25. “Carrots, please. Some of us want to live.”
  26.
  27. She laughed and took the lead once more, bouncing wildly, as fast as only a bunny could. She listened to the rhythmic slapping of their hips and simply kept the beat going as it was. She watched Nick’s face contort more and more, noting how it scrunched up if she went faster and relaxed when she slowed.
  28.
  29. “You could’ve told me you were close,” she said, not skipping a beat.
  30.
  31. “Didn’t want to spoil your fun,” he hissed through his teeth.
  32.
  33. “Just hang on,” she panted, pushing herself to frantic levels. She found words hard to come by as the edge fast approached. “A bit longer. Then…together, okay?” He only nodded in agreement, then went on to stare at the ceiling. She was vaguely aware of Nick’s tail flicking wildly, brushing her right thigh.
  34.
  35. “Nick!”
  36.
  37. “Judy!”
  38.
  39. “Oh, hey–door’s unlocked. Maybe she got off early on account of the crummy weather.” A third voice brought the world to a screeching halt.
  40.
  41. “Stu, the ZPD isn’t some country school, they don’t do that.” The fourth voice somehow made it worse in ways Judy and Nick could not even comprehend, knowing only that their hearts had exploded under the stress. And when the door swung open, in the doorway stood the hands of the grim reaper himself, the left adorned in a blue summer dress and the right in a flannel shirt and dirty denim overalls.
  42.
  43. “Well how 'bout that, Bonnie? Hey, Jude the…” They stopped, staring, as if unable to grasp the scene before them. Their daughter, stark naked, staring at them as if she had never met her parents in her life, sitting atop a fox. Who was also wearing his birthday suit. And was very clearly a male. The gears began to turn, albeit slowly. Why would their daughter be naked, sitting atop a naked fox? What kind of activities can two naked folks do together that might have one on top of the other?
  44.
  45. And one moment later, all the pieces fell into place at mach five.
  46.
  47. “What in the name of–”
  48.
  49. “Mom! Dad!” Judy jumped off of Nick with an embarrassingly audible pop and scrambled to hide behind the bed. Only after she had wedged herself between the wall and mattress did she remember that there was no space between the wall and her bed. She clambered back up and snatched the sheets up around herself, leaving Nick to wither in the cold and use his paws to hide himself. He scooted up and behind the giant bundle of blankets and sheets that was Judy.
  50.
  51. Stu’s glare finally fell onto Nick, who only gave a bashful wave in return. “Not with my daughter, you’re not!”
  52.
  53. Bonnie grabbed him by his collar and spun him around. “Stu, out in the hall, now. Come back when you’ve cooled off.”
  54.
  55. “Out in–why? I’ve got an orange neck to wring!” Bonnie shot daggers at him and Stu cowed immediately. “Fine, but I’m not goin’ far. I’ll be just outside listening.”
  56.
  57. Bonnie waited until he was out the door, then turned back to her daughter. “Well, this was supposed to be a nice surprise visit.”
  58.
  59. “Surprise, yes,” said Nick, his ears as flat as they could be. “Nice? No.”
  60.
  61. “And hello to you, Nick,” she said to the fox, his head looking like it had linens for a body. “Sorry this is our first meeting in person.”
  62.
  63. “He will be sorry soon as I get back in there!” Stu shouted. Nick suddenly had visions of all the movies and stories he’d seen and heard of disgruntled fathers. The horror movies memories were the worst and did nothing for his confidence at the moment.
  64.
  65. “Stu, be quiet,” said Bonnie. “Look, you two are–well, just make yourselves decent and we’ll pick up this up again in a little while. After Stu’s blood pressure has come down.”
  66.
  67. “Not likely!”
  68.
  69. “Another word and you’ll walk back to the hotel, Stu.”
  70.
  71. Judy cinched up the blankets around her head, completely enveloping herself and muffling her voice. “Mom, I am…I am so sorry, this was…I don’t know.”
  72.
  73. “Yeah,” Nick chimed. “You’re taking this awfully well compared to, uh, Mr. Hopps.”
  74.
  75. “Don’t apologize, Judy. And Nick, I have 276 children, I assure you this is not the first time this has happened. Stu should be used to it by now but I think he just likes scaring the daylights out of all his daughters’ potential suitors.” She turned to see if Stu would say anything but he kept quiet. “You kids get dressed and we’ll go eat some place nice.”
  76.
  77. Bonnie left and closed the door behind her, and their voices faded towards the stairwell, leaving Nick and Judy’s thoughts as the loudest things in the room.
  78.
  79. “I’m 33 years old,” Nick said. “She called me a kid.”
  80.
  81. Judy and her bundle of bedcovers fell back into Nick’s lap. “I can’t imagine anything more embarrassing. Really. I’m trying to make up something in my head and it’s just not happening. This is the worst.”
  82.
  83. “Yeah, talking to your mom all normal-like while I’m sitting here naked behind her naked daughter was a little surreal for me,” he said, looking down. “Was hoping meeting your parents the first time would be a bit more cordial.”
  84.
  85. Judy extended a single paw to scratch beneath his chin. “All things considered, I think you did really well.”
  86.
  87. “Maybe I’m in my element when I’m naked,” he growled, hauling her out of her wrappings and onto his chest as he laid back.
  88.
  89. “I’ll attest to that,” she said with a smile.
  90.
  91. “If that’s the case, we should take them to the naturalist club.”
  92.
  93. “Oh God, Nick, no. Why? Why would you put that image in my head?”
  94.
  95. He grinned. “Because I knew it would bother you, why else?”
  96.
  97. She planted a kiss on his neck, as his muzzle was out of reach. “Dumb fox.”
