the world of information  has advanced  in leaps and bounds tech  is storage. information has moved from paper ledgers and file cabnets to bit and bits that fill computers and the offsite storage systems  files were hard storage in offics  and libraries numbers and letters were also storaed in wharehouses home of dead records  now we can store words  spread sheets aas well as sound and visual information on hard drives and  cloud like  space  we can record and shoot film and moving pictures on the computer  stream this informatio all over the world  advertizing news and entertainment industries are forever changed the process of film is almost non existing today  the medium is dying as we speak  records were once sold and easily controled by the music industry as was film  bootlegs (1)  (note on bootlegging) is an industry ever where you gothere are bootleges available on the street as wellas the net.these  passing of these files flow like water  and freely distributed making payment to artists impossible to monitor

the media is now longer controlled by the middle men  recording companies publishers and  film and tv production  are like a storm passed on from device to device  piracy is  here to stay.   first came the word processior  and the streaming audio  now any imsage can be cvaptured   ansd shared

	 the changes i will focus on will be the storge and recording of sound.  methods and ways of capturing sound is ovwer onhunderd years old edison's wax then metal storage brought mucic and sound ton the world we have come a long way since he spokee "mary had a little lamb" (2) into his device.   the mic was a one take instrument a single track to grab the sound on a instrument and voice or many instruments.   this process was a demanding one.  the information had to be just right in pitch tiomber and loudness.    a one shot deal.  perfection of players was needed.  the cylindars gave way to discs this lead to the distribution of these records world wide   this was timed with the wireless that allowed broadcasty of music and created markets for the records   records wel limited to written work or printed matter  now sound began to change the way we receive information the radio brought new and music to the world.
