Clint - Anycast vs Unicast

Hi guys, love the show of course.

If you're interested, I thought it might be helpful to overview Anycast and Unicast DNS: the pros and cons and when you'd want to use one over the other.

I'm wondering if Anycast DNS is worth the small annual cost (e.g., Namecheap resells Verisign service for $4.88/yr and DNS Made Easy is $29.95/yr). Is it really more reliable and responsive?

I'm also wondering if there is overhead in the Anycast protocol that actually makes it is slower than unicast for a given geographical area (e.g. North America)?
