  2.
  3. We ask that you post the following in public places
  4.
  5. Whereas, on the 14th of December, 2011, the House of Representatives of these United States
  6.
  7. voted in favor of indefinite military detention, without charges, of any American, anywhere,
  8.
  9. anytime, without due process of law, at the discretion of the government alone;
  10.
  11. Whereas, on the 15th of December, 2011, the Senate of these United States voted in favor of
  12.
  13. the same bill;
  14.
  15. Whereas, the proscription against the use of military force to police the populous has been
  16.
  17. an essential feature of American civic life and civic liberty since the arrival of our
  18.
  19. civilization upon this continent;
  20.
  21. Whereas, the wanton violation of this proscription was one of the chief causes of the
  22.
  23. separation of the American peoples from their government in Great Britain;
  24.
  25. Whereas, the Constitution so chartering the government of these United States does not grant
  26.
  27. this power;
  28.
  29. Whereas, the Constitution forbids the addition of any power not enumerated to the general
  30.
  31. government;
  32.
  33. Whereas, the use of such draconian measures has been an essential feature of the enforcement
  34.
  35. of tyranny by totalitarian governments of the 20th century, including, but not limited to,
  36.
  37. the Nationalist-Socialist government of Germany, the fascist government of Italy, the
  38.
  39. government of the United Soviet Socialist Republics, and the government of Vietnam;
  40.
  41. Whereas, the use of such draconian measures is carefully calculated to quash all political
  42.
  43. dissent amongst a captive people;
  44.
  45. Whereas, the codification of such draconian measures effectively nullifies all civil
  46.
  47. liberties the people may hope to hold;
  48.
  49. Whereas, the codification of such draconian measures are the last act in the quest to hold a
  50.
  51. people captive to the rapacious will of their government without recourse;
  52.
  53. And whereas, the codification of such draconian measures is an act of war against the
  54.
  55. populous at large;
  56.
  57. Therefore, be it declared that a STATE OF WAR formally exists between the Government of
  58.
  59. these United States and the People of these United States.
  60.
  61. We, the People of these United States, declare any and all attempts to enforce the
  62.
  63. provisions of HR 1540 to be unlawful, void, and of no force.
  64.
  65. We, declare ALL WHO voted in favor of HR 1540, and ALL WHO attempt to enforce HR 1540 to be
  66.
  67. traitors to these United States, punishable under law.
  68.
  69. We, SHALL DISOBEY, APPREHEND, OR RESIST WITH DEADLY FORCE, in our discretion, any person who
  70.
  71. attempts to enforce the provisions of HR 1540.
  72.
  73. We, SHALL NOT aggress against any employee of any American government who shall not attempt
  74.
  75. to enforce or aid and abet the enforcement of HR 1540, they being as trapped as the rest of
  76.
  77. the populous.
  78.
  79. Such STATE OF WAR shall continue until HR 1540 is stricken from the code of law, and all who
  80.
  81. had hand in HR 1540 are brought to justice under due process of law.
  82.
  83. Signed and witnessed by we, the individual citizens of these United States, below:
