Session 1

Backwards Compatable (GM): As you all wake up in your various rooms you remember bits and peices of that stange message you found. Slowly things start to come into focus around you, your in a bed, not the most comfortable one in the wastes, but not a bad one all the same. The weight of your normal atire is missing and for some reason you just feel better than you did before. It's at this point the lights slowly come on, starting off dimly and growing brighter over the course of a few minutes giving your eyes time to adjust. The rooms you are in are full of medical gear, the kind you would swear would even put the most advanced Ministry of Peace hospitals to shame. As you continue to look around the room a soft hiss of static comes out before a cheerful female voice comes over the hidden intercom. "Good afternoon patient, I am glad to see your awake, my sensors indicate your biometrics are well within the green range, which indicates not only are you concious but also any parasites, poisons, harmful bacteria, and in ninety eight percent of cases all radiation has also been cleansed from your system. This also means that the extraction and implantation proceedures went perfectly and your in much better shape than even the healthiest wastelander normally is. In a few moments the door to your room will open and I would greatly appreciate it if you could step out of the room so I may start the sanitization proceedures in your room." It blurbs out before cutting off, and the only entrance, and exit to your room opens, silently.
As you get out of the small recovery beds you awoke in, you notice your smocked only in a patients gown and there is a slight tightness in the sides of your head. If you reach up to see why, you realize there is a very very fine line of stitches accross each temple, but nothing seems to be out of place. It's at this point you realize your not the only one coming out of a room....
Kamika rubs against the now slightly-rough texture of her temples. "What in Equestria...?" She mumbled, sliding off the bed, and exiting the room.
Tidal Fury Rubbed her head and moved slowly to the outside.
Moonlighter: "Ugh me bleedin' head." groans Moonlighter as she groggily gets up and walks out of the open door. "Where the bleedin' tartarus am I?"
Wub: The WUB flops from his bed and just keeps snoring. He didn´t care, and did know genetics and labtests. You can hear him snore on the corridor.
Kamika: "If I knew... I'd tell you." Kamika resigned.
Tidal Fury Once outside she would look around examining the ponies
Wub turns, the snoring stops for a brief moment. Then he lifts his head and tells, yawning :"K.I. shut the lights..."
Kamika takes the opportunity to stretch real quick. "What did that voice mean by extraction and implantation...?"
Tidal Fury Examines her self as she recalls the implantation, Not finding much other the the stiches on her temple.
Tidal Fury This sent a chilling thought through her mind.
Moonlighter: looks around her and notices two other ponies and a zebra all having came out of seperate rooms. "The fuck if I know, I got stitches all over me head and it feels like somepony put a jackhamma' in it."
Wub: Now awake the sallion growns and turns. "FINE, I get up. When+s breakfast, and where is the... oh." He sees Moonlighter, and waves at her with a big smile. "Yo, what´s the noise?" He yawns and finally leaves his room.
Tidal Fury Looks around and spots the big door and walks over to it.
Tidal Fury Examines the door
Moonlighter raises a brow at the stallion. "Do I know you?" she questions.
Wub looks around and greets the rest on the same way. "Yo, not as much as I like, pretty." Then he stretches and scratches his head. "K.I. explanation on temple scar, surgery and function."
Backwards Compatable (GM): -Nothing happens Wub, nothing at all-
Tidal Fury Frowns as she notices the dool is quite sealed
Tidal Fury Walks back to the group of ponies and raises hey hoof to speak. but stops her self. and just waves
Kamika quickly tapped a hoof on her chin. "Actually... What did it mean by sterilization?" She briefly mused, before shaking her head. "It's all so confusing!"
Moonlighter just gives an incredulous expression at the stallion. "You wake up inna unknown location wit' stiches on ya head and the first thing you do is hit on a lass?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): After a fair amount of time for every one to get their bearings and to get to know one another, a massive door at the end of the hall slides down into the floor, the same female voice from before coming out over the speakers once more. "Please proceed to the now open breiging room" is all it says before cutting out once more.
Wub: "For buck sake, anypony an idea where the shower is?" H eyawns again and looks around. "Buck it, t´where´re my manners? Ah´m THE WUBster, nice to meet. And tartarus, three cuties you are." He smirks to the three mares.
Wub shrugs at Moonlighter. "Why not? I awake in lotsa labs."
Kamika goes a quick flash of red, before noticing the door opening. "Oh, how 'bout that..." She trailed, before walking over to the now-open room to peek inside.
Tidal Fury Simply waves to the wub pony and turns and walks to the door
Moonlighter rolls her eyes as she walks towards the door.
Wub shrugs again and follows, still grinning.
Backwards Compatable (GM): As you enter the room, the only features of note are another large door in one wall, 6 metal footlockers, and a large console screen that's flickering. As the last of you enters the room an immage comes on, a strange tree, rotting and decrepid, five branches coming off the main trunk "This, is the tree of harmony." a deep baritone voice says "As you can see it is dead, and so too, is the harmony of the world. I have selected you lot as you all posses ties to the individual elements of harmonay. Generosity, Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Loyalty, Magic. These six components are vital in harmony, and with them, it is upto you to either restore the tree of harmony, and as such peace, to the land, or, to figure out a way to grow a new tree of harmony and get the same, end result." it says, before the immage changes to a stallion in a beakers cap and wearing narrow frame glasses "Now then, that said, I've prepared a set of gear for each of you, it should help you quite a bit, but, it won't last you forever. Now then, I assume most of you are worried about that whole, extraction bit, don't wory, that was just to remove the enchanted teleportation crystal that was absorbed into each of you. And now, for the implantation part" it says before with a strange fuzzy feeling in each of your heads you notice a faint green glow around the others "You all have integrated Friend or Foe designation devices in your optic nerves, this will help you out considerably, but, due to the small size it's fairly limited to things it can detect, and expect alot of gray auras while it processes information."
Kamika immediately recoiled. "What is this foreign sorcery?!" She exclaimed.
Moonlighter blinks as she looks at the green glow that surrounded everypony. "Bloody Tartarus!" she exclaims.
Wub: "Neat, cyberspecs!"
Tidal Fury Rubbed her eyes in vain trying to find some indication of it being there
Wub: "Okay, recap on all that harmony buisness. We are elements, but which who?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "It's to help you more easily determine when one is hostile and not, and to keep you from accidentally shooting the others that are to be your fellow adventurers and compatriots. That said this facility has very limited power, so I suggest you ask any questions you have, as this com station is the first thing to shut down. And that is a good question, each of the chests has the mark of the original bearers of the elements, the locks on the chests are encoded to only open for one with power of that element, so, you'll figure it out rather quickly, now wont you"
Wub checks out the mares with his new spectables and grins. He then turns to the lockers. "Just hope I´m not stuck with the doozy..."
Wub: He turns to the nearest box and slams his hoof on it. "Open!"
Moonlighter feels like her head is spinning. Elements? Com Station? "What do you mean by Elements? Element o' what?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Elements of Harmony my dear Moonlighter"
Tidal Fury Raise her hoof to ask but the Pegasus did before her so she just lowered it and listened.
Kamika is kinda flailing at her eyes - Not really hitting them, but trying to turn off the weird foreign-vision. Realizing it to be in vain, however, started looking at the boxes.
Wub: "THE elements, silly filly. Okay, big guy, what´s my name? And what virtue?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Your name is Wub, your the love child of Octy and Vinyl if memory serves, and laughter"
Wub walks up to the next, stares, and goes one further. "Now that´s one! Open!"
Backwards Compatable (GM): -As Wub draws close to the chest that has three balloons painted on the top, the strange lock on the front glows before bursting into light, confetti shooting all over Wub as it unlocks-
Kamika looks over to the box with stars on it, briefly shaking her head, as if in pity. However, she gets startled by the sudden light on her right, drawing her attention to that side of the room.
Tidal Fury Just shakes her head at the all knowing machine and walks to the boxes one by one starting with the closest.
Kamika: "...Hey, this might be a hunch, but are all of our... 'Elements'... On that side of the room?" She asked.
Moonlighter blinks at this. "So, are you saying we're the new bearers or somethin'?" she asked.
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Perhaps, for some reason two of the six didn't teleport here, which is odd, maybe just a delay in them finding their missives, or perhaps something stopped them from getting them, I'll have to look into that"
Wub grins and tailslashs. He poits on the chaest in turn and intones:"Generosity, Honesty, Laughter, Kindness, Loyalty and Magic. Suit yourselves, ladys!"
Kamika looks a bit worried, but otherwise decides to try the box with Butterflies on it. Butterflies are cool.
Tidal Fury Moves up sees as the Gem box had no reaction
Backwards Compatable (GM): "And yes Moonlighter, you are the new bearers, Lil Pip's friends are....elderly at this point to say the least, and, waaaay back when I managed to get slivers of each elemental gem"
-As Kamika aproaches the foot locker with the butterflies, the lock glows a soft pink, before bursting apart in a wave of pink butterflies that slowly fade out of existance"
Wub then finally opens his chest, wishing for a party cannon or something, at least confetti.
Moonlighter goes towards the metal chest with the diamonds on it. "These symbols look oddly familiar."
Kamika: "...Pretty..."
Backwards Compatable (GM): -As Moonlighter aproaches the generosity chest, the lock doesn't glow, it begins to glint, and then, with a sound of rain upon marble the lock breaks apart into gem-like fragments, which vanish upon hitting the ground-
Moonlighter steps back in reaction. "Well i'll be damned, what element was that then?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): -As Tidal Fury approaches the chest with the apples on it, the lock literally turns into an apple, it does not glow, it does not dissipate, it turns into a buckin' apple-
"Generosity Moonlighter, that's the element of generosity"
Wub: "Oh, that might be generosity, hun." He smirks at Moonlighter.
Tidal Fury Stares at the apple and goes to pick it up and sniffs it before she looks to the box and opens it.
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Huh, now that I didn't expect, two of three weilders of honesty are earth ponies"
"And that's a full circle on laughter, although the fact that a zebra was kindness is a bit of surprise, not that a zebra would bear an element, but rather that kindness instead of one of the others"
Moonlighter nods as she realises something. "Hmph, now I see why the symbols are so familiar. These are the cutie marks of the Ministry Mares."
Tidal Fury Nods at the implication, she was the bearer of Honesty and with that she finally spoke
Tidal Fury: "Well...Shit"
Tidal Fury she states before taking a bit of the apple
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Very astute Moonlighter"
Moonlighter cringes at the mare next to her. "Wasn't that a lock just now?"
Tidal Fury Looks to the mare next to her and just nods
Wub: "So, this was my destiny? That´s it? Don´t mind the company, you´re all sorts of hot girls, but THAT?" He stares blank at the monitor. "Years in labs, educaton, tech, fuckbuckin´ NEEDLES in my Flank, and THATS IT?" He scrunches and crosses his forlegs.
Backwards Compatable (GM): -Inside each chest is a set of winterized leather armor, a pair of neutrally colored saddle bags, a bedroll, an insulated canteen with a cracked blue gem, 6 silver wrapped bricks with C-Ration written in black upon the front, and 4 larger brown sack with MRE written in black on the front-
"Oh, maybe, maybe not, the largest reason you were in a lab for so long is they were ensuring your genetics were stable, after all you are the child of two mares"
"That was some biiiiig news back in the day"
Wub: "That totally fucks! I had not one single NOT VR-related party, and now I have DUTIES! No fair!" He looks at the others. "How about you? You´re the same, right?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "You say it's not fair, but you represent laughter, and, if memory serves, which it does, Pinkie Pie, the original Element of Laughter threw parties all the time, for any reason she wanted"
Moonlighter looks at the stallion with a raised brow. "I wasn't raised in a lab if that's whatcha askin' ". "I was born an' raised on the streets."
Wub: "Streets?" He blinks. Then he turns to the monitor again. "See? She had fucking SREETS!"
Moonlighter goes through more of the chest to see any other goodies inside. "Not exactly a GOOD thing mate."
Tidal Fury Finishes her apple with a satisfied groan and disrobes, picking up the armor from the box and begins getting dressed. and places the lab clothes in the saddlebags
Wub: "Wit PONYS on them! Man, this simply fucks..." He was already sorting his stuff and packing his back. After a look on the leather he says :"Gonna be cold, eh?"
Wub suddenly stops.
Wub takes headphones out of the chest, holding them like precious garment. The stalllion shivers. Very quiety he ask, with broken voice :"A-are these... ?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Well yes, it's halfway through winter and your a good month or two by hoof north of the old Crystal Empire"
"And yes, they are, I figured you would appreciate them, they are your heritage after all"
Moonlighter takes off the hospital gown and places the leather armor on. She also finds a new set of reading glasses inside and places them on her face. She smiles as the room becomes clearer to her. "Much Bettah."
Wub wraps his forlegs around the headphones and shivers, suppresing tears. He holds them like a foal would hold a doll, or a teddy.
Wub: "T-thankss,,,"
Tidal Fury Holds up the strange weapon and just places it in her bags along with the other items found after takeing a swig of water .
Moonlighter exclaims "Bloody Tartarus!" as she pulls out an exotic looking sword. "Nevah seen a blade like this before."
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Now then, fun little fact, those weapons are all called Karmic weapons, as you do good deeds these weapons will respond to it, growing more powerful with the more good you do, or, growing weaker as you do acts of evil."
Wub takes the armour between his teeth and runs for his room. If one of the others looks they might see tears dripping from his face.
Moonlighter frowns at this. "So I guess i'm out of a job?" she asks.
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Think of it as a change in profession, you still have a job, and I doubt any one else here could pick a lock like you, but now you do it to help the entire world"
Moonlighter sighs. "I suppose so, but then how am I suppossed to help the others?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Sometimes in your adventures you may need to get through a locked door"
Moonlighter shakes her head. "I meant the others back home, without my *ahem* profession how do I help them financially?"
Backwards Compatable (GM): "If you give a pony a fish he will eat for a day, if you teach him how to fish he will eat for life. Sometimes to be generous, one must teach, and not just give"
Tidal Fury As she puts her gear she cannot help but notice how ridiculously a tome was also inside.
Tidal Fury Tries to get in a quick read of the tome before putting it away
Kamika opens up the saddlebag inside the chest, and starts loading it with the equipment inside.
Wub reenters the room again smiling and wearing his armor and headphones. He also wears his new MEW lazgun at his chest. "WUBaDUB! Let´s giddy up and get this party on, ey?" He waves at the others smiling. "I´m fine now, how about you?"
Kamika pulls out a rather large rocket launcher from the chest. "Heavy..." She briefly complained, slinging it around her shoulder. "But light. It's strange."
Moonlighter empties the chest of the equipment and places the sword on her back.
Tidal Fury Gives and smiles at the stuffs the book in her bags for later.
Tidal Fury looks to the Weird pony and nods
Tidal Fury she walks over and offers her hoof
Wub takes her hoof happily and nods. "Wubs, nice to meet an atual pony for once!"
Tidal Fury Shakes his hoof and nods. "Tidal Fury."
Wub: "A pretty name for a pretty mare!" he grins at her and nods. "So... honesty? Gotta rely on that."
Tidal Fury Looks to Wub and just pats his head,
Tidal Fury Just turns and flips her tail under his chin and walks off to the moniters
Moonlighter takes her sword out with her mouth and start swinging it around to get a good feel of the blade. She then switches to her wing and gives a few practice swings as well.
Backwards Compatable (GM): "So then, you all are all kitted up and ready, know each other's names, and are all chumy chumy, right?" the stallion on the monitor asks, now, Miss Fury, please step away from the vault door right there, wouldn't want it to hit you when it swings open, now would we"
Tidal Fury Nods and backs up
Wub shrugs at being overheared again and looks at Moonlighter. "And you´re the generocity of our group. I hope we will get along." Grinning he offers her a hoof.
Tidal Fury Peaks outside from behind the door
Backwards Compatable (GM): "Now then, if you all don't mind, I figure your ready to head out into the world and do what you can to bring harmony back" he says dryly "Also, I'd suggest leaving this bunker in the next twenty minutes, as now the timer is started and....well, you don't want to be here when that timer goes off"
Tidal Fury Blinks at the screen "What!"
Tidal Fury before she dashes out of the bunker
Moonlighter looks at the hoof in question for a second before putting her own hoof out to meet his. "Sure, nice to meet you too mate." "Wub wasn't it?"
Wub then moves on, leavin through the door without any stress. He trots nearly dancing towards the main entrance, smply followig the corridor. "Aye, Wub."
Tidal Fury Quickly scanner the hall
Tidal Fury runs to the console
Tidal Fury and Slams heer hoof on the Big Green button
Wub: "Ey, Fury, we have time. Twenty minutes, mare." He shrugs at her stressful behaviour.
Moonlighter shrugs. "She must be eager to get out of here, Celestia above knows I do myself."
Backwards Compatable (GM): -As you slam your hoof down the entire hallway begins to tremble and as warning lights start to spin, the hall begins to tilt upward before coming to an abrupt halt, a loud hiss coming out from below the party before the round shutter style door twists it's way open, and they are all greeted by a blast of cold wind and snow-
