Marco and Jackie were enjoying their game date. It was Friday night and it had become something of a tradition as of late. They preferred co-op games over competitive as they worked much better as one than apart. This time they were playing some good old Portal 2, on Marco's PS3 which he lugged over. Jackie loved it, although at the time she felt like Marco was doing all the work. Marco had always been smart as a whip, and these portal puzzles weren't slowing him down at all, Jackie wished she was this good of a problem solver.

"Wow, I'm sorry if I suck, can't believe you've never finished the co-op story before, bet you could have done it on your own a long time ago," Jackie mused, impressed.

"Don't be silly, you are doing great Jackie, and besides, these sorta things are better with real friends. Ferg and Alphonso don't play Portal and Star won't stop getting herself stuck in an infinite portal loop," Marco said while laughing at the memory.

Jackie nervously laughed too. She isn't too keen on Marco always looking so delighted when thinking about Star, sometimes she thinks that girl could murder someone in cold blood and Marco will still find a way to make it look sweet and innocent.

Jackie placed a portal so Marco could launch himself across a gap. "So, how is Star anyways? I know she accepted my apology from what you told me a while back."

"Oh? Um, she's fine, I guess, at least as fine as someone like her could be," Marco replied jumping into the portal in the game.

"She has been doing more things I like recently, however," Marco began to explain. "Like going with me to karate practice. She's never wanted to before, she only went once before and that was for my tournament fight."

"Oh really?" Jackie asked nervously. Marco had always invited her to practice, but she always had homework or chores to do at home.

"Yeah, she just cheers me on from the stands even though I keep telling her it's just practice not an actual tournament or test to get the next belt" Marco smiled and chuckled again. "Once I got up to use the restroom and she clapped thinking I was going to accept some reward, it was funny".

Jackie frowned; again with the touching memories. Jackie made a mental note to never miss one of Marco's karate classes ever again.

"Has she tried to kiss you again?" Jackie asked. Marco couldn't tell if she was just being sarcastic or serious.

"No, she has not tried to kiss me since that night, I told you she understands that I'm not attracted to her in that particular way," Marco replied still focused on the game.

"Yeah, but it's the other ways you are still attracted to her that make me feel second best," Jackie murmured under her breath.

Marco had heard that. He has been training his senses to pick up on all the things Jackie does and say's just in case for situations like this. Marco positioned himself behind Jackie and wrapped his arms around her waist, Jackie instantly paused the game. Normally she'd say fuck it when Marco initiates cuddle mode but this test chamber in portal 2 has been difficult she was not about to re-do the whole thing over again.

"That's a load of crap and you know it. I may enjoy Star's company, but you are one I love, big difference," Marco said and smooched her cheek. Jackie fell back into his embrace; dammit she loved it when he does this. She can never stay mad at him during cuddle time.

"Well, I guess if you can tolerate Janna, I can always tolerate Star," Jackie whispered.

Marco made a face when Jackie mentioned Janna. Jackie laughed, as she could not have missed it.

"You really don't like Janna, huh?" Jackie asked. She really didn't care for the answer she knows Janna can be...difficult, to say the least. Jackie may be one of the few people on earth who actually understands her and sees some of her nicer qualities.

"It's not like I hate her, it's just that she makes it difficult for me to like her, or even tolerate her," Marco grumbled. "She's been pulling pranks on me since we were in elementary school, once she even stole my house keys...I still haven't been able to get them back." Marco was getting annoyed so he hugged Jackie even more to calm himself. She was like a teddy bear to him, just with blonde hair and a nice pair of legs, oh, and boobs...so, okay, not exactly like a teddy bear, but in the same vein.

"In my first real interaction with her, I had tried to help her after she got hurt, she punched me afterwards and threatened to beat me up the next day if I told anyone about her crying." Marco shook his head. "That's gratitude for ya,"

Jackie had considered telling Marco that Janna likes him but decided against it. One girl going after him was enough for Jackie more information like that would just complicate things even more. At least Janna hasn't interfered with their relationship no matter what her drawings may have suggested she would have done. Like raping Marco for example, because Jackie had to face the facts, give it time and Janna totally would. Jackie changed her thoughts to the other things Janna would tell her and, whether she agreed with them or not, some were good ideas, like marking her territory with Marco. Jackie had a feeling Star is trying something similar, or at least will.

Jackie blushed at the thought of what she was going to do, but it had to be done. Besides she's been hoping Marco would do it of his own free will, but so far he's been the perfect gentleman, never pushing her into doing things she didn't want to do. Jackie got up and made sure her door was closed and lowered the blinds on her window.

Outside a few houses down Janna had been up in a tree spying on them with a pair of binoculars.

 "Oh great, here we go again," Janna said to herself in disgust.

A few more houses down so had Star again with her magic telescope. She had been trying to read their lips but didn't know how. She had cast a spell to make subtitles appear through the viewfinder of her telescope but she set it to Spanish by mistake and the only Spanish she knew yet was a few curse words and "Donde esta la biblioteca" which would be great if Marco and Jackie developed a fetish for Mexican libraries. Star groaned as Jackie cut off her view from them. It's like she knows she's been watched. "Now what?" Star thought getting angry.

A few feet away from Star was the royal all seeing eye of Mewni hidden in a bush. That is…that's what Star would have thought if she saw it. Instead it was just silently watching her and everything going on in Star's life, relaying it all back to Ludo's castle on his big screen. Star has wondered where exactly Ludo and his minions have been lately. If only she knew what they have been doing...if only.

Back in her bedroom Jackie had sat back down, where she had been and Marco returned to hugging her from behind. Marco had asked if she wanted to play some Twisted Metal next, but Jackie had other things in mind.

"I want to do for you something only I can do...no other girl," Jackie said to him tilting her head up to kiss his chin.

"You already said you’ll teach me how to use a skateboard, no other girl I know could do that," Marco added, enjoying her kisses.

"Yeah, this is a little different and doesn't require a helmet…yet," was Jackie's answer.

Marco opened his eyes wide. "Oooh, what exactly do you mean, miss Thomas?"

"Kiss me and find out," Jackie whispered to him.

Marco smiled and began to kiss Jackie as he always done. He had to admit he must be getting good at kissing if Jackie likes it this much. Jackie took Marco's right hand as they kissed and placed it under her shirt, letting him feel her stomach. Marco blushed but said nothing and continued with the kissing, he's used to this. She moved his hand up and over her bra. Marco's heart skipped a beat but continued to kiss her he's also grown used to this. She guided his hand over her bra strap on her right shoulder and pulled it down. Okay, this is new, at least from what Marco remembers from last time. Jackie nervously slid his hand under her bra so Marco could feel her naked breast.
‘New, new, new, definitely new,’ Marco thought as panicked internally, he was not prepared for this.  Marco stopped kissing Jackie, his face was very pale, somehow he kept his hand exactly where Jackie had left it.

"Why did you stop?" Jackie asked and returned to kissing his neck instead.

"Uhm, this is not a dream, right? I-I'm grabbing onto what I think I am? Marco said stuttering his words.

"Yes, do you like it?" Jackie whispered. She rested her face on Marco's chest after she asked.

"Y-y-yes?" Marco answered.

"Hmm…you sound unsure…pinch it, and squeeze it then tell me what you think," Jackie murmured, trying not to laugh at Marco's shock. It was beyond adorable to her, not to mention a little arousing as he clearly thinks highly of her body. Marco, on the other hand, was about to pass out.

"Here, let me help you," Jackie said with a grin. She pressed down on Marco's hand so he could get a better grasp on it.  Marco snapped out of it just in time to pinch her nipple in between his fingers. He tried to lift his hand off her skin but instead just pulled on her nipple causing Jackie to softly moan.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," Marco said again, trying not to sound too excited.

"That wasn't a sound of pain," Jackie replied, Marco tilted his head down to look her in the eye and she kissed his lips again. "It's probably better if you touch my other boob too" as she finished talking, Jackie pulled down her other bra strap.

"Go ahead, don't be shy, I love you...only I can do this for you, remember that from now on," Jackie whispered into Marco's ear.

"I swear to god that thing you feel in my jeans is my smartphone and wallet," Marco blurted out, hoping she believes him.


Outside both girls had given up on their stakeout. The All seeing Eye returned to following Star as she walked home with her telescope in hand.

"This is so exciting, totally makes up for the lack of cable." Ludo squealed from his throne. All his henchmen have been spending most of their free time crowded around the TV watching as Star's life became their personal soap opera.

"I'm telling you, boss, she's going to go back with Tom," said one henchman.

"We don't even know what the karate boy is doing inside the house, he and skateboard girl might have already broken up," countered another.

Toffee walked up behind the group. He did not look happy.

"Remind me again how this is helping us acquire the wand," Toffee asked Ludo without a hint of emotion.

"Huh? Oh right, yeah, it's helping us learn about…human emotion and how it uh it uhm…you work for ME! Now, silence!" Ludo replied.

Toffee made a face of disgust and walked back into the shadows.

"And you call yourselves monsters, when I get my revenge you will be the first I exterminate, Ludo," Toffee muttered.

The two-headed minion re-joined the group to continue watching. He was wearing his homemade Marco X Hope T-shirt.

"What is that?" bellowed Ludo.

"Well I just thought that maybe, there would be a wild card entry and-"

"TAKE IT OFF THIS SECOND!" screamed Ludo.

"But Master Ludo, her parents are still fighting the karate boy could comfort-"

"TAKE IT OFF OR YOU'RE FIRED!!"

The two-headed minion walked always both heads staring at the floor in shame.

"I'm surrounded by idiots," Ludo said shaking his head. "Okay, who has money on Butterfly crying herself to sleep again tonight?"

Almost all the henchmen raised their hands.

Ludo wrung his hands together and cackled joyously. “WAY better than cable!”
