>"There's that fucker, Brad. Hey bro, how you doing?" Someone shouted from the crowd.
>"For the last time, my name is not Brad." Sentry thought to himself.
>"Oh,  isn't he dreamy?" A girl giggle to her friends.
>"Then why don't you say it to my face?" Flash sighed.
>Flash Sentry was walking down the hallway of Canterlot high.
>He was feeling down since the morning. Just thinking about his life in this school.
>Since the first day, people have been calling him Brad.
>It all began when some jock tried to mess with him, thinking it would be funny to call him random names.
>It kind of backfired, since no one realized he was joking. Now everybody thinks Sentry's name is Brad.
>Even though he is glad no one picked him on, he hates this nickname.
>Every single one of his classmates truly believes it is his real name.
>Sentry stopped trying to convince them otherwise.
>Well, this is a little lie.
>There is one that doesn't call him that way.
>Coincidentally, this classmate also has a nickname everybody thinks is her real name.
>Sadly, she constantly gets picked on.
>Flash Sentry met her behind the basketball courts on the second week of school.
>He was giving himself a small tour after classes ended, when he found her.
>The girl was sitting on the grass, covering her face with her hands, crying.
>"Hey, what's wrong?" Flash asked.
>The blonde girl peek at him, hiding her face once more.
>"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you." He put his hands behind his head, in a playful way.
>She faced his way, and that's when Flash saw her lazy eye.
>He wasn't prepared, so he backed down a little.
>After this reaction, she turned around once more, crying even harder.
>"Wait, wait! I'm so sorry, it wasn't my- I'm really sorry."
>Flash was desperate. Second week in high school and he made a girl cry.
>He put his hands in his pockets, trying to find anything that could help in this situation.
>"H-Hey! I'm really sorry, would you take this as an apology?" He took out a key chain teddy bear.
>Sentry really liked this key-chain, since her mother gave it to him.
>However, in his mind, this was the only way to mend his mistake.
>The girl looked at him, her face illuminating a little when she saw the bear.
>"It's very cute." She said, while trying  to hold her sobbing.
>Flash felt relieved. He may have to ask his mother another key-chain, but that's not important right now.
>He took a chocolate bar from his backpack.
>"Here, you can have you half of it." Sentry offered.
>"Thank you, you're so kind." The girl said, whipping of her tears.
>"Why are you here? Did something happen?" Flash asked.
>The girl didn't want to talk about it. She just sat there, looking at her chocolate bar.
>This was a very uncomfortable atmosphere.
>"Yeah so, well my name is Flash Sentry. What's your name?"
>"Ditzy..." The girl whispered.
>"That's a pretty name, Ditzy."
>More silence.
>"I'm a first grader here. I kind of like it here, it's a nice school. Do you like it too?"
>The girl softly shook her head, while biting her chocolate for the first time.
>"This isn't going anywhere." Flash thought to himself.
>"Say, classes are over. Would you like a smoothie? There's a nice snack bar not far from here." He proposed.
>The girl looked at him in awe.
>"S-Something wrong?" He asked.
>"Nothing. It's just that, no one has invited me out before." Ditzy said, smiling.
>"Well, then let's enjoy ourselves, Ditzy." Flash said, glad that her mood improved, just a little bit.
>"Hey, wake up!"
>A voice snapped Sentry out of his flashback.
>"Huh?"
>"I asked you if something was wrong." his friend said said.
>"Wha- oh. Nah man, everything's alright." Sentry answered.
>"Glad to hear it. Anyway, Purple won't be coming today. She said something about magical horses again." he said, "By the way, Brad, have you seen Aryan beauty?"
>"No, sorry, haven't seen her today."
>"Man, you're useless. Anyway, see you around." he waved before running away through the corridor.
>"He is a cool dude, but I just wish he stopped calling me Brad." Flash sighed.
>"Thinking about it" he continued, "Both of them are always being bullied."
>"Only difference is, he has our band. But Ditzy, she only has, me."
>Sentry exited school, and sat on the stands of the basketball courts.
>His mind slowly moved away from Ditzy and people calling him Brad, to how people treats him regularly.
>"I always have someone to talk every now and then, but for the most part, I don't even know those people." He reflected.
>He laid down on the benches to see the clouds move across the sky.
>"People greet me, they laugh at my jokes, they hear me playing, but how many of them can I consider more than acquaintances? "
>"Hell, I don't even know their family names. I can't believe he is my only guy friend."
>He realized it long ago. Having all these people to talk to, doesn't necessarily mean you aren't lonely.
>"Let's see, we have him, Ditzy and Twilight. And the last says she will be going back to her place soon." Sentry sighed.
>Twilight had something special in her.
>Maybe she was special, someone that is not like the rest.
>Or maybe, he only thought of her as special.
>In the end, what matters the most is that she is the only girl she wants to spend all his time with.
>A difficult task, since she prefers to hang out with her friends.
>Sentry smirked.
>He is jealous of Flash's friend, but for different reasons.
>He knows that he isn't backstabbing him. After all, he keeps bitching of Twilight.
>Still, that guy spends a lot of time with her.
>"So that means two of my closest persons in this school are most of the time away from me."
>Even Ditzy, she doesn't want to hang out with him in public.

>"Yo bro, we saw you with the retard the other day. You should invite us when you break with her. It will be fun as shit." A jock told Sentry after slapping his back.
>"I'm not dating her. She is my friend." Flash said, annoyed by this conversation.
>"Yeah right. Remember that you don't need to use a condom, bro. No one would believe her." He laughed after his own joke.
>"I need to go, I have a class." Flash said.
>"Ok, bro. See ya."
>Sentry couldn't believe that people could be this stupid.
>Bullying such an adorable and friendly girl. He just couldn't stand it.
>However, what could he do? try to beat them one by one?
>It would make the problem worse for Ditzy, and for him.
>When he turned to the left in the corridor, to go to the library, he bumped with Ditzy.
>She nervously looked at him, and then quickly walked another way.
>"Ditzy?"
>After classes, he met with her on their usual spot.
>"What's wrong, Ditzy? I'm sorry if I did something-"
>No!, no, no it's ok. You didn't do anything wrong, Flash." She mumbled while playing with her hands. "It's just that, well, I don't want to be a problem."
>"Don't be silly. Why would you be a problem for me?"
>"Some girls, they told me that I'm being an annoyance, that you are dating me for pity. I told them that we aren't dating but-" She began sobbing a little bit.
>"Ditzy, Ditzy. Stop, you are not an annoyance. Forget what those idiots say, you 're my best friend." Flash said while hugging her.
>"Really?"
>"Yes! So don't worry about it."
>"Still. I don't want people to think ill of you. So I won't talk to you in school. I don't want them to be mean with you."
>There was no point in discussing with Ditzy.
>He learnt that when she decides on something, there is no way to change it.
>Sentry just hug her, comforting the grey skinned girl.

>To help Ditzy, he made sure that no one saw them whenever he invited her to his house.
>He even got a girlfriend, the most popular girl in school, so that people stopped messing with his friend.
>Sunset Shimmer, he thought, would be strong enough to defend herself against the insults.
>She was perfectly capable of defending herself, alright.
>Also she was one hell of a bitch.
>Still, she worked her part perfectly.
>People stopped bullying Ditzy, at least for that reason.

>Sentry woke up from his sleep.
>He didn't know where he was, until he checked his watch.
>"Crap, I stayed here for too long. Classes were over 2 hours ago."
>When he was sitting up, he saw Ditzy besides him.
>"Hello, did you sleep well?" The girl asked with a smile on her face.
>Sentry smiled "Yeah, thank you, Ditzy. Say, would you like to come to my house? I got this movie I'm sure you'll like."
>"Yes, I'd like to." Ditzy answered. "Would it be ok, if we bought some popcorns on the way?"
>"Of course! We can buy all kinds of snacks. We can even make a fort with our pillows."
>"That would be so fun! What kind of movie is it?"
>"It's about giant robots fighting giant monsters." He said "Pacific Rim."
>"I don't know, is it violent?" She asked.
>"A little bit, but trust me, you'll love it."
>"Ok, Flash, I trust you." Ditzy said while helping him getting up.
>The two friends walked back home, to have a nice evening.
>In the end, Flash understood that it was all worthy.
>If the only thing he had to do, was to make this girl happy.
