[19:00]<SpiritOfFate>	The round hall has inner walls of straw and clay, and engraved wood, all holding the scrap metal layer outisde. Within this hall, the group is observed by the conch bearing zebras. An aura of serenity flows within it, though the group is judged by their gaze.
[19:01]?	Hawkeye sits and waits quietly near the door. The charcoal mare knows she's a terrible diplomat, and has opted out of trying to contribute to this discussion unless something goes wrong or her expertise is needed. No sense in making a bad situation worse, after all. She watches the zebras carefully, noting their body language and facial reactions as they talk, and also watching for spirits.
[19:01]?	Sotho looks at the zebras, his eyes full on determination and fear for his freinds safety.
[19:02]?	Royal_Lace silently waits to see how the group of mystirous wood's Zebras would react to her statment.
[19:03]?	Firefly looks around at the hall of zebras. They are so mysterious... creepy with the glowy things, but why is this one keeping his eyes closed? Sooooo many mysteries!
[19:05]<SpiritOfFate>	"What do you seek, for yourselves?" The bearded zebra asks
[19:06]?	Ignis leans by a nearby wall, still with an unwaveringly kept scowl, arms crossed...spirit business, bleh...he definately wasn't a dragon whom enjoted that sorta reccuring thing...mostly due to ineptitude. As a result, he cared little about his striped hosts...
[19:07]<Sotho>	"I... I want to find my wife and daughter again." Sotho says
[19:08]?	Royal_Lace clears her throught as she nudges Sotho, "I belive she means what our little band whats from them Sotho"
[19:08]?	Hawkeye sighs. She can think of a few things she wanted. She wants to see her friends reunited with their families. She wants to see the slaves out from under the hooves of the rat bastard who was so low as to beat his own daughter. She wants to put an incendiary .50 caliber round through Stopwatch's skull if she ever saw him again. But these Zebras aren't likely to help with most of that.
[19:09]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra with the emerald necklace has several motes, red blue and grey, spiraling among the pearls and shells that adorn adorn it. Only a black spiritual speck stays still in the middle of the emerald.
[19:09]?	Wintergreen keeps protectively close to Firefly. She raises an eyebrow at the question. "We just want to help, unless," She quirks her head. "do you mean our goals... or dreams?"
[19:10]?	Royal_Lace Never letting her eyes move from the zebra that addressed them she nods, "What we seek is to sucure your aid, or at least your non compliance with our enimies in a coming confrinattion. This group is one that we have been lead to belive you have an agreement with, and we fear that if you were to side with them our chances of victory would be hopelessly small"
[19:10]?	Sotho nods a bit. "That's my goal overall, my hope. But what we'd like from your tribe, is help in defeating the spirit of these forests."
[19:11]<SpiritOfFate>	This zebra opens her deep green eyes, staring at Sotho.
[19:12]?	Sotho stares back, looking into the zebras eyes, his own jade green eyes shining.
[19:13]?	Firefly cocks her head at zebra with the emerald. "I wanna defeat the bad ponies and save the slaves... and my momma and poppa." Firefly cocks her head at the emerald. So many colors!
[19:15]<SpiritOfFate>	"We..." They follow Sotho's eyes back to the emerald bearer and their eyes grow alarmed. "...shall discuss it again." The braided one whispers with a calm tone. "You are allowed to stay for this night. But we need you to leave this hall for now."
[19:16]?	Sotho nods softly. "Thank you for your time. And your hospitality."
[19:17]?	Royal_Lace nods, pitching in with Sotho, "Yes, thank you very much for graciously granting us stay. We look forward to further talks on how we can both be of help to each other".
[19:18]?	Firefly looks over at the zebras, confused for a moment. But they just got here! She looks over to Sotho and Wintergreen. Is it really time to go?
[19:18]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebras gather around the emerald bearer and sit, going completely silent. The eyes of the emerald bearer still follow Sotho.
[19:19]?	Wintergreen shrugs to Firefly, ushering her out. "Thank you, I suppose..." She sighs. "So... cloud bed?"
[19:19]?	Hawkeye gets up off her haunches and stands by the door, waiting for her friends to exit before she does as well.
[19:19]<SpiritOfFate>	The seers can notice the black speck seems to be growing and flowing, but grey motes coming from withing the zebra and their shells flow to hold it back.
[19:19]?	Sotho looks to the emerald bearer, his eyes looks wearily at his, wondering why he had suddenly become so of interest to him.
[19:20]?	Firefly nods up to Wintergreen. "Ok. But is that one going to be ok? That black spot doesn't look right..." Firefly starts walking toward the door though.
[19:20]?	Ignis grunts and turns his back on the equines, knowing his way out of there...
[19:21]<SpiritOfFate>	The seers realize the size of the emerald and a thought goes to their mind of how much it would be worth
[19:21]?	Royal_Lace turns to leave the hall
[19:21]<Hawkeye>	"It looks like none of our business," Hawkeye says to Firefly. "At least not for now. C'mon, bedtime." She gives Wintergreen a knowing look before glancing back at the shining green gem thoughtfully. She idly wonders if she could buy a .50 Caliber Anti-Materiel rifle with the proceeds...
[19:23]?	Wintergreen frowns. "I'm... not exactly sure Firefly, but I don't think it's--" She nods, Hawkeye finishing her thought. "Right. Bedtime."
[19:23]?	Firefly nods up to Hawkeye, but her blue eyes look back to the emerald. She could buy all of the Daring Do. ALL OF IT.
[19:23]?	Sotho nods, knowing the value of the emerald is very much, it would interest many spirits as he starts to leave. "We should go now, they do not want us to hear it at all."
[19:25]?	Royal_Lace looks around as they exit the hall, "They said we could stay in the villiage for the night... but I wonder where we should go, are we to be given some form of lodging?"
[19:26]?	Hawkeye snorts. "Nah, they were just askin' us to leave because we smell funny," she snarks, and heads out the doorway behind everyone else. "Ah wonder if these folks will sell us any o' that radhog they have cut up there..."
[19:26]?	Firefly looks back up at Hawkeye, the thought of Bacon interfering with the thought of Daring Do. "Bacon?"
[19:27]?	Sotho chuckles. "You two realize we still have enough meat to make bacon, correct?" He asks, looking around. "I'm sure theres some place we can stay."
[19:27]?	Ignis cringes his teeth. "I only wish I could get Rev. pumped up enough to duke out this stupid spirit..." He grunts, clenching fists as he walks. "The spirit of flames shouldn't be the one wandering around like a minor power...I should find something of use to him..."
[19:28]?	Hawkeye nods. "Yep. An Ah think Ah know who the cook was." She looks around for the zebra that had smiled while she was admiring and drooling over the bacon.  "Just have to find her." The one-eyed mare shoots a quizzical look at Ignis. "Sure, hot stuff. Y'all think burning the forest to the ground is the best solution? Cuz Ah don't. Better t'find the cause than treat the symptoms."
[19:29]?	Royal_Lace sighs at all this talk about spirits, she didnt doubt there existance but she was woefully unkowledgeable on the subject and ill equipped to deal with such threats, or any threats really. She was just glad there were other ponies with them that could manage such things, she would have to trust in there abilities.
[19:30]?	Ignis shakes his head. "I fail to see why that would be a bad thing...one forest less it would mean less fetid holes for mutants to crawl from..."
[19:30]?	Sotho rolls his eyes at the dragon. 'At least he has some interest in spirits now.' He thinks to himself, looking to Royal_Lace. "So, do you spot anyplace we can stay at?"
[19:30]?	Royal_Lace perks up as she looks around, "umm...."
[19:30]?	Firefly looks up at Sotho. "I could make us a cloud house!"
[19:30]<Hawkeye>	"And one ecosystem ruined because y'all couldn't keep a lid on your pyromania," Hawkeye growls. "Folks live here, you scaly animated flak jacket."
[19:30]?	Wintergreen shrugs. "If nothing else, wouldn't Firefly's cloud work as a small resting area? If Lace can still manage to cast her spell on all of us, that is..."
[19:31]?	Wintergreen nods in agreement with Hawkeye. "The easier way isn't always the best, and our hosts wouldn't appreciate it much."
[19:31]<SpiritOfFate>	There is a zebra buck wearing a pouch necklace by the stand, chewing  a bit of meat. It's not the same one Hawkeye saw before though.
[19:31]?	Ignis matches her gaze up with his fiery eyes. "They came here on their own volition from somewhere else, it isn't THEIR forest to even begin with..."
[19:33]?	Hawkeye stops and plants four hooves on the ground. "Yeah, EVERYONE comes from somewhere else," she says. "Ah did. Y'all did. ALL y'all did. But they're here now and it's THEIR home." She snorts at the dragon. "Y'all want to displace families just 'cuz y'all can't think of a better way than rampant incendiary destruction?"
[19:33]?	Royal_Lace continues to look for some palce to stay, or at least somezebra to ask about it, "Im not so sure, would it seem ungreatful of us to set up our own shelter? I worry that it may seem as if we are turning down there hospitality... or would it be a sign of weeknes to count on them for shelter? I know so little of there culture"
[19:34]?	Firefly shrugs and snags the cloud cannon. She climbs up on it, ready to push it to where ever the group goes.
[19:34]?	Ignis blinks and looks over at her dispassionately. "If it was the only way to ensure that spirit is out for good, I'd gladly wipe out the forest only to prevent that cancer from engulfing any semblance of civilization from the neighboring area."
[19:35]?	Wintergreen nudges Ignis, a look of disappointment in her eyes. "Ignis, please. Hawkeye is right. By your logic, it isn't -our- forest either, so we have no right to burn it."
[19:36]?	Hawkeye shakes her head. "Ah guess there's just as much point in trying to teach a dragon to think like a pony as there is teachin' pigs to skydive," she says, and turns away to go look for wherever it is they're supposed to be sheltering for the night.
[19:47]?	Royal_Lace turns to Sotho, "You would know better than me Sotho, which would be perfered?"
[19:47]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye and Sotho see a curious zebra filly, not much older than Firefly, observing the group from behind a vase. Her mane is cut short, and Hawkeye realizes the string holding her necklace is made af zebra fur. Her necklace has a wooden heart, more like the real thing than a pretty symbol.
[19:48]<Sotho>	"I wish I did. My tribe didn't get many visitors." He looks to the Filly, examining her. "Hello dear." He smiles and waves to the filly.
[19:49]?	Hawkeye notes the first child she's seen since entering the village, and gestures for Firefly to come down. "Hey, half-pint," she says. "Ah think Ah might'a found you a friend, but only if you're nice and quiet and try not to scare her..."
[19:50]?	Firefly flits down. "I can be quiet, I promise." Firefly carefully crosses her heart with a hoof.
[19:51]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra flinches back, startled for a moment. She looks back at you and puffs her cheeks and lowers her brows. It's quite adorable
[19:52]<Hawkeye>	"Then c'mon," Hawkeye says, and slowly canters over toward the filly, careful not to make any sudden moves. "Howdy, young'un," she says softly, cracking a half-smile. "This here's Firefly, and she'd like to be your friend." She gestures up at the little brown pegasus.
[19:52]?	Sotho smiles softly and chuckles, walking towards the filly. He starts to speak in zebra. "*Hello little one, I am Sotho, I'm here with my friends. What's your name?*"
[19:54]?	Firefly flits above Hawkeye till the charcoal mare gestures to her. When she's gestured out, she lands next to Hawkeye and waves to the zebra filly.
[19:55]?	Hawkeye carefully examines the wooden heart now that they're closer. It doesn't appear to be a spirit-inhabited talisman like the others around here...
[19:56]?	Wintergreen watches Firefly from afar, making sure she doesn't scare the other filly...
[19:58]<SpiritOfFate>	<I am M'tat of the Flame. Uh... my old voice is dirty.> She blinks. <Uh... what is "friend"?>
[20:00]?	Royal_Lace decides that this is as good of a time as any to 'submerce' herself in this village, what better way to learn the culture (and thus increase likelyhood of positive negotiations) than to just leap in! what could go wrong? Lace trots off to go observe the zebras as they go about there daily lives
[20:01]?	Hawkeye feels a little shiver run down her spine. She probably shouldn't be here right now. The number of fillies near her has just doubled... She nods to Sotho. "Alright, good luck with that. Firefly promised to be good, so once they figure out how to talk, Ah figure they'll be playin' tic tac toe in no time." She walks back toward the bacon stand, feeling her stomach rumble.
[20:02]<Sotho>	<Friend is companion who helps.> He speaks, smiling. <Do you know pony?> He asks
[20:03]<SpiritOfFate>	M'tat points to Wintergreen. <Is pony.>
[20:03]?	Wintergreen quirks her head and smiles, seeing the filly point to her. She waves.
[20:03]?	Firefly sits and looks between Sotho and the filly as they speak the same language.
[20:04]?	Sotho laughs a bit. <Yes, she is a pony, do you know the pony voice though?> He asks, crouching to the filly
[20:07]<SpiritOfFate>	Royal Lace sees the zebra caring for their usual business. Some sharpen their blades, some spar, some clean fruit, other stomp berries in a large barrel. Some have climbed the pallisade, observing what is beyond it. Some seem to meditate. None have a smile on their faces.
[20:09]<SpiritOfFate>	"A little." She says. "Silent Council says it's soothing."
[20:10]?	Royal_Lace silent observes from a distance at first, wanting to take in as much information as she could before attempting anything more.
[20:10]?	Hawkeye wanders around near Royal_Lace, looking for the zebra she'd seen before, the one who seems to be the only zebra in the entire village capable of smiling. "Ain't seen such a cheerless place since..." She trails off. "Not for a long time." The sniper mare looks at Royal_Lace. "Must be hard on the soul to be surrounded by danger all th'time..."
[20:11]<SpiritOfFate>	One of the zebras grab a bowl of fruit and climbs the pallisade, throwing it inside.
[20:11]?	Royal_Lace nods as she watches zebras intereact with one another, "Im sure it is"
[20:12]<Sotho>	He smiles and nods. "Well, My friends don't speak zebra like you or I." He looks to Firefly. "Firefly, this is M'tat of the Flame. M'tat, this is Firefly." He smiles.
[20:12]?	Hawkeye quirks an eyebrow. "Huh. They got something living in there, maybe?" She looks sideways at Royal_Lace, and a devilish smile crosses her lips. "Now they got me curious..."
[20:13]?	Firefly looks at the filly and smiles. "Hi Em-Tat. Its nice to meet you."
[20:14]?	Royal_Lace returns the smile without looking away from the zebras, "This whole tribe is curious, I find the prosmect of learning about a new culture to be very exciting... I just wish I had more time to study it before dealing with those leaders again. I feal as if.... as if going in with my guns only half loaded, if you know what I mean"
[20:14]<SpiritOfFate>	M'tat raises an eyebrow, but bows. "May you last very long."
[20:15]?	Sotho stands close. "We were told by the Silent Council we could stay in this village, do you know where my companions and I might stay?"
[20:15]?	Hawkeye smirks. "Yeah, nice try on the firearms analogy," she says. "Ah get what y'all were tryin' for though. Cain't make a good decision without good information. And speaking of which, Ah'm gonna go get some info on what's in that there enclosure." She trots off toward the palisade, trying to find a place to duck out of sight.
[20:16]?	Firefly cocks her head at the filly, but then nods. "Do you like Daring Do?"
[20:20]?	Royal_Lace nods as she contineues her zebra watching, for knowing next to nothing about firearms she felt good to have created such a passable analogy.
[20:21]<SpiritOfFate>	Both sparring zebras wear charcoal necklaces, the blade sharpener and the ones dealing with fruit wearing pouches. The one squeezing berries seems to have a something solid inside her pouch necklace. The sparring gets more intense, one of the zebras opening a gash on the other's leg. The wounded zebra puts a hoof to her chest, and the other one stops attacking.
[20:22]<SpiritOfFate>	M'tat tilts her head. "What is Daring Do?"
[20:22]?	Sotho glances to Firefly. "Firefly, please reframe for scaring the filly with the explination you're about to go into."
[20:25]?	Firefly looks up at Sotho with a flat expression. I mean, how can anyone be scared of Daring Do? "Daring Do is an explorer. She battles evil villains and recovers things for anyone to see in museums." Firefly nods solemnly.
[20:26]?	Hawkeye wanders around the back of the palisade, carefully sticking to the darkest of the evening shadows, her charcoal coat blending into the twilight. She looks for something to stand on in order to look over the top, be it boxes, or a ladder, or even just a stack of firewood.
[20:27]?	Sotho nods at Firefly. "I meant how you explain it, not what she is." He chuckles softly, glancing around. He thinks for a moment and stares at the zebra filly, his jade eyes shining softly from reflections
[20:27]?	Ignis hmfs and wanders off back to the main gate...he wished to exchange words with that zebra sentinel from earlier, perhaps she could...clear some things up.
[20:29]<SpiritOfFate>	The palisade is tall, the ones climbing it use ropes or blades, and some seem to be adhering to the logs with a sticky fluid
[20:30]<Hawkeye>	Not spotting much, Hawkeye scowls, ties another lasso into her rope, and flicks it up to catch hold of the top of the pointy wood. If you can't FIND a way, Pap had always said, MAKE a way...
[20:34]<SpiritOfFate>	M'tat tilt's her head she opens her mouth, but a zebra with a charcoal necklace yells at her, aproaching from a corner. "M'tat! You should be training!"
[20:34]?	Royal_Lace watches for a bit longer before deciding to step things up, she gos over her mental notes and tries to single out a conch wearing zebra that didnt look to busy.
[20:35]?	Wintergreen frowns, turning her attention to the new zebra.
[20:39]<Hawkeye>	On the far side of the village from everything else, Hawkeye climbs her rope until she can peer over the top of the palisade. If the zebras are keeping this secret, it's either very dangerous or very important. Or both.
[20:39]?	Sotho looks to the new zebra. "Sir, i am sorry, she was simply answering our question on where we should find a place to stay."
[20:39]?	Firefly looks up at the adult zebra then back to M'Tat. "Oooh, do you have to do exercises too? Can I help?"
[20:41]?	Ignis looks out for that elder one with the necklace of flames, eyeing over the zebras' necks for that particular one...
[20:44]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra mare with the flaming necklace is close to the southern village edge, eating a mutfruit.
[20:45]<SpiritOfFate>	Most conch wearing ponies seem to be idle in one way or another, silent and still, but one of them is trotting away from the palisade.
[20:47]?	Ignis stands idly for a bit and then approaches that one, ostensibly glaring her necklace for a moment or two. "You know a few things about the spirit of flames, don't you?" He asks. "If everyzebra here is linked to their...fetishes or whenever you call those..." he nods towards her necklace. "I'd assume so."
[20:48]<SpiritOfFate>	"Sure." M'tat says, smiling. The other zebra scolds her. "That is the face of the vanished. Do you want to be devoured?!" She pulls M'tat away.
[20:51]?	Firefly looks over at Sotho and the big zebra. "Face of the vanished? What's that?" Firefly starts to walk toward the adult zebra. "I didn't want to get her in trouble! I'm sorry!"
[20:52]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye climbs te palisade, seeing conches embedded along the middle of it. Over the top she sees a miniature version of the village, inhabited by zebra foals and the occasional conch bearer. Silence seems to surround her, but she hears the very faint sound of laughter.
[20:53]?	Sotho shakes his head. "I have no idea what that is honestly." He says to Firefly. "I believe." He looks to the older zebra. "None of us are going to devourer her. We just want to know where to stay."
[20:54]?	Wintergreen frowns, trotting to Firefly's side. "They're just foals. What's the harm in letting them play?"
[20:54]?	Hawkeye puzzles for a few moments at the scene. She knew that zebras put spirits in talismans. Maybe the shells held something that quieted sounds? It made sense, if they were worried about the foals' laughter attracting predators. Other than that, the scene looked harmless. Hawkeye climbs back down her rope and flips the lasso free of the top before trotting back over to rejoin Royal_Lace.
[20:56]?	Royal_Lace seems to be looking for a zebra that is not to busy, and being to successful.
[20:56]<SpiritOfFate>	"Ah, the outsiders. I'll tell one of the Silent to guide you." She turns away, taking M'tat with her.
[20:56]<SpiritOfFate>	M'tat waves.
[20:57]?	Sotho waves back, sighing. "Wintergreen, please watch Firefly, I'll attempt to speak with the Silent Council." He start trotting towards where they were before, looking around for signs if he may go in or not."
[20:57]?	Hawkeye walks up and nudges Royal_Lace. "No big news in there," she says, nodding toward the palisade. "At least, Ah don't think so. We found a place to crash yet? Ah'm mighty tired, after fallin' off that there cloud and all. Ah could use some shuteye."
[20:58]?	Wintergreen smiles lightly. At least the filly is friendly. She waves back.
[20:58]?	Firefly smiles and waves back to M'tat, unsure what is going on. But... momma always said to put on a friendly face, right?
[20:58]?	Wintergreen nods to Sotho, patting Firefly on the head. "Did you make a new friend?"
[20:59]?	Firefly looks up to Wintergreen. "I... think so? She seems nice... but I think I got her in trouble."
[21:00]?	Royal_Lace shurgs, "Im not sure, I have been busy doing some.... sight seeing, trying to get my head around these zebras"
[21:00]?	Wintergreen shakes her head. "Their customs are different here, but I think she will be fine."
[21:01]<SpiritOfFate>	Sotho sees a conch bearer, whose necklace had no pearls, much younger than the others. It closes the doors to the metal hall and turns, seeing him and moving closer
[21:01]?	Sotho sights to conch bearer, nodding and trotting towards it. "Hello."
[21:02]<Hawkeye>	"All right, if you say so," Hawkeye says with an exaggerated yawn. "Ah'm gonna snag me some bacon, then find a place to crash. Y'all want to come along?" She nods back toward the stand with the meat, and gives Royal_Lace her friendliest smile. Then she frowns. "Say, where'd Buck an' Knack get off to?"
[21:03]?	Royal_Lace sighs before offering a slight smile, "Yes that sounds like it could be n-.... oh dear, where did they get off to?"
[21:03]?	Firefly nods to Wintergreen. "If you say so..." Firefly looks over toward the cloud cannon. "I'm tired..."
[21:04]?	Wintergreen chuckles, wiggling her back. "The foalsitter bed is always open."
[21:07]<SpiritOfFate>	The flame bearer zebra turns her eyes to Ignis. "And? What about it?"
[21:07]?	Firefly smiles up at Wintergreen. Firefly takes off the wingblades, the brass hooves and the boxing socks and places them all carefully in her saddle bags before she flits up and lands gently on the foalsitters back. She curls up, and is shortly asleep.
[21:08]?	Wintergreen smiles, making sure Firefly is comfortable before trotting around, looking for the others...
[21:09]<SpiritOfFate>	Knick Knack stays close to Royal_Lace. Buck wandered around, but he isback to the group
[21:09]?	Firefly gently snores, cozy on the back of the bestest foalsitter.
[21:09]?	Ignis glares down to her. "I desire to know more about Revolt...I could had talked things with him back then, but...there were more pressing matters and we parted ways as I escaped my captors..." He says, scratching the bcak of his head.
[21:10]?	Hawkeye forgets her momentary worry as she spots their less-combat-ready friends. "Ah. Never mind," she says. "Lace, Ah'm gonna go get dinner and then crash someplace handy. Even if we don't find proper beds, we're still safer in the village than we'd be out in the forest."
[21:11]?	Royal_Lace nods, "Alright then"
[21:11]?	Royal_Lace looks ot the bacon carving zebra, "Im sure they have things besides rad-hog, yes?"
[21:12]?	Hawkeye heads back to the stand with the carved meat, waving to Buck on her way over. "Probably," she says over her shoulder. "Ah saw 'em chucking fruit around earlier. Maybe y'all can get some of that." She finally stops at the stand and leans a hoof on it and looks at the zebra behind it. "Howdy," she says. "Y'all speak pony?"
[21:12]<SpiritOfFate>	The conch bearer bows to Sotho and gestures for him to follow.
[21:13]?	Sotho returns the bow and follows kindly, not smiling, be keeping a plasid expression.
[21:13]?	Wintergreen continues to look for her friends.
[21:16]<SpiritOfFate>	Wintergreen finds Ignis with the fire bearer.
[21:16]<SpiritOfFate>	"You are too meek." She says.
[21:17]<Ignis>	"If the flame burns before its meant to, it'll wither into nothingness before it does its job." He answers
[21:23]<SpiritOfFate>	She raises an eyebrow. "Heh. You think you're smart, don't you." She takes another bite of the fruit. "Not everybody can choose how long they burn for. Or you can be like those asses from the Council and do fuckall for ages."
[21:24]?	Wintergreen raises an eyebrow. "What... are you two talking about?"
[21:24]<Hawkeye>	"Excuse me," Hawkeye says, trying to get the zebra's attention. "Can Ah get some of this, here?" She points at the radhog roast.
[21:28]?	Ignis shrugs. "I couldn't give much for any of those...council folks or anything, that's Sotho's sweettalking business...the zebra that was with us...I, on the other hand, know that acting on things is far more moving than whenever piggybacking he does..." The dragon sighs. "I wish to help Revolt, he was...not much of a sight...but to do that, I need to know more."
[21:28]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra frowns at her. "Yeah, it's not like we need it or-"
[21:28]<SpiritOfFate>	"Hey!" The zebra mare from before, a charcoal bearer, yells at the buck and puts a hoof to her chest.
[21:29]<SpiritOfFate>	The zebra buck shrugs and walks away. "Whatever."
[21:31]?	Royal_Lace seaks out a more vegitarian friendly meal
[21:32]?	Hawkeye blinks at the rudeness. "Well, shut muh mouth and paint me red," she mutters, turning to the charcoal-wearing mare. "s'cuse, sorry. Uh... Ah was wondering..." She looks at the bacon, then back to Royal_Lace. "Muh friend and Ah was looking for food an' a place to crash. Could we snag some vittle from ya?" She chuckles. "An' something with more greens for muh friend, if y'all have it?"
[21:32]?	Firefly continues to snore gently on the back of Wintergreen.
[21:36]<SpiritOfFate>	"Go ahead and take it. It's for everyone." She says with still a bit of a grump. "Fruit is by the kla'trum."
[21:37]<SpiritOfFate>	Royal Lace can see fruit in a table close to where they were observing
[21:38]<Hawkeye>	"Thanks," Hawkeye says, tipping her hat. "Though Ah'm afraid Ah don't know what a Klat room is." She leans on the stand. "If y'all don't mind muh asking... what was up with that feller? Seemed a mite rude to brush y'all off like that..."
[21:39]?	Royal_Lace thanks the zebra and clames a bit of the fruit for herself, stowing some away to bring to Nick Nack later.
[21:40]<SpiritOfFate>	"Make it an offering." The fire bearer says. "Make it burn. It will devour and make it into dust!" She growls
[21:41]?	Sotho looks to his vest and speaks quietly. "Ties, do you feel odd?" He asks the spirit of loyalty imbued to his armor
[21:44]?	Ignis raises an eyebrow, but nods. "It'll do..." He answers. The dragon turns his back on the flame-bearer and looks towards Wintergreen . "I'm heading up to the river and the outskirts to see if I can get some game to offer to Revolt, Green...just stay within the walls, it shouldn't take too long..."
[21:45]?	Wintergreen frowns. "Ignis... it's dangerous. You shouldn't go alone, if at all. Just stay here, and rest for the night."
[21:46]?	Ignis waves dismissively. "I won't be out for long, I promise I'll be back before nightfall, even if I come bare-clawed..."
[21:47]<SpiritOfFate>	The mare by Hawkeye coughs a hidden laugh. "He is an Icicle, that's why. But he doesn't get to deny food to anyone. Soon he'd be saving it for himself and nothing good comes from it."
[21:49]?	Wintergreen grumps, her lips and eyebrows contorting into a pout. "Pleaaaase," she whines, nuzzling her cheek against Ignis'. "You aren't going alone, because I'd be too worried about you getting hurt. It can wait. It'd be safer to go out with all of us." She adds, "Tomorrow."
[21:49]<SpiritOfFate>	Ties' voice echoes back to Sotho. "All this hostility? Where does it come from? This is a haunted graveyard."
[21:49]?	Hawkeye bites her lip to keep from laughing too. When in Roam, after all. "Well, it's mighty kind of y'all to share. Especially when everything out in the woods seems so dangerous." She takes a few pieces of bacon and chews on one thoughtfully. "So... again, Ah gotta be the nosy one. Why don't anyone smile around here? Seems a tad unhealthy t'never laugh or smile."
[21:50]?	Sotho nods a bit. "I do not know myself Ties, but we will find out." He trots, looking to the mare. "Can I speak with the council?
[21:50]<SpiritOfFate>	The flame bearer shakes ger head and walks way
[21:53]?	Ignis looks at her for a while, his expression softens bit by bit... "I guess...I should do as you say." The dragon answers, then trots over to the flame beares as she goes by. "Just one more thing..." He looks at that zebra. "We used to be slaves, and...there was an old-timer there, zebra...such the likes of you...good with locks...I don't know if he is one of you, but...yeah, sorry to bother ya about it."
[21:54]?	Ignis scampers back to Wintergreen and leans against the mare, sighing.
[21:54]<SpiritOfFate>	"It invites a terrible fate. Only the unknowing may smile, because the Council says so." She says to Hawkeye.
[21:55]?	Wintergreen giggles, seeing her method work. She nods back to the zebra village. "Let's find the others."
[21:55]?	Hawkeye frowns. "Huh. What fate?" she asks. "And Ah take it laughing is right off the table too?"
[21:56]<SpiritOfFate>	The flame bearer grumbles and goes on her way.
[21:56]?	Ignis nods, gazing off to the village. "Yeah..."
[22:00]?	Wintergreen nuzzles Ignis. "You alright?"
[22:02]?	Ignis nods, nuzzling her back. "yes, just...thinking..." He says softly. "To think that this tribe's elders are segregated like this...its odd."
[22:03]?	Wintergreen nods, starting to walk off to find her other friends. "Well... do you think Sotho might know why? Not sure if it's a zebra thing, or just this tribe..."
[22:05]<Ignis>	"He's most certainly got his little muzzle on fussing out the reason, as always..." He grumbles lowly. "Too bad he puts the solution in second priority while doing that..."
[22:07]?	Wintergreen shrugs, continuing to wander and look. "Well, we'll see... maybe one of them found something."
[22:07]<SpiritOfFate>	The mare recites a verse in zebra, a tone of anger woven into it. She then repeats it in pony. "Joys and wishes surrender one's will to the devourer."
[22:09]?	Hawkeye starts to say something, then stops again. "So y'all cain't have wishes, and y'can't be happy?" she says. "Heck, I'd leave if Ah wasn't allowed to crack a joke every now and then." The charcoal mare looks down. "Not that Ah usually have a giant pile of stuff to be happy about anyway, but... still! It's the principle of the thing!" She offers a hoof to the zebra mare, and makes a satirically...
[22:09]?	Hawkeye ...dour face. "Hawkeye. Nice ta meet ya."
[22:11]<Ignis>	"I guess they did..." He remarks. "Sometimes I wish I could be that handy with words, then I remember that such talent didn't helped Sotho from signing a deal with the evilest of all spirits so far...and pay the price bit by bit..."
[22:16]<SpiritOfFate>	She shakes her hoof. "F'zala. May you last long." She breathes and says with some annoyance. "We know. Those blessings were shown tu us  while unknowing. Now we must remember, but not covet, and our anger will fuel the fire that keeps the devourer burning." She says with some satisfaction. "Forever."
[22:18]?	Hawkeye sighs. "How 'bout we find the Devourer an' kick its teeth in?" she suggests. "Then y'all could throw a party so big, y'all would smile 'til your faces fell off."
[22:24]<SpiritOfFate>	"The devourer can't be killed. We can only fend him off, if our flame is bright when the claws pierce our hearts."
[22:26]?	Hawkeye shakes her head. "That made about as much sense as a boat made of newspapers," she says. "Ah know a little bit 'bout spirits, and it sounds like this one's a doozy." She turns back to wave to her approaching friends. "Ah've discovered over th'years that it's best not to resign yourself to a fate. Eventually, somethin' or someone comes along to shake that up for y'all, and then life takes a...
[22:26]?	Hawkeye ...turn." She looks right at F'zala and grins broadly. "If the devourer wants me, he gets to taste buckshot first."
[22:28]<SpiritOfFate>	F'zala represses a smile of her own. "Fight well."
[22:28]?	Hawkeye nods. "Will do. Now, gotta find a place to crash. Y'all got a spare cot or mat or somethin' Buck and I can sleep on for th'night?"
[22:31]<SpiritOfFate>	She trots into her hut, and comes back with a rolled mat
[22:34]?	Hawkeye hesitates, then hugs the mare. "Y'all don't seem a bad sort," she says. "Now Ah HAVE to make sure Ah beat up the Destroyer for y'all. Y'all deserve to be able to smile." She takes the mat and lays it out under the eaves of the large building they were in earlier, and lies down on it. Getting to sleep early. Just in case...
[22:45]?	Sotho waits for the Silent Council to speak with him
[22:50]<SpiritOfFate>	The conch bearer beckons Sotho, going to a simple hut.
[22:51]?	Sotho trots by Hawkeye and waves. "I have our lodging
[22:51]?	Hawkeye looks up from her mat blearily. "Huh? Nah, Ah'll be fine out here unless it rains," she says, resting her head on the mat again. "Though if y'all see Buck, tell him Ah could use company."
[22:52]?	Sotho nods, waving. "See you then, I'll be getting some rest myself.
[22:53]<Hawkeye>	"Good night, Sotho," Hawkeye says. "Don't let the hope-eating spirit monster eat your dreams."
[22:55]<Sotho>	"Hush." He smiles as he trots to the simple hut, laying down and taking a rest himself
[22:57]<SpiritOfFate>	Royal_Lace and Knick Knack soon are led to the hut as well
[23:00]?	Hawkeye occasionally raises her head to watch her friends go off to the hut, but is puzzled as she doesn't see Wintergreen or Ignis. Or Buck, for that matter. She stretches, and gets up. Maybe they don't know where their shelter is... The charcoal sniper meanders around toward the edges of the village, looking for the not-exactly-inconspicuous dragon and mare.
[23:00]<SpiritOfFate>	Wintergreen and Ignis see a conch bearer approaching
[23:03]?	Wintergreen waves to the bearer as she walks closer. "Have you seen our other friends? We're a bit lost..."
[23:03]<SpiritOfFate>	Buck approaches Hawkeye, holding a small jug.
[23:03]?	Firefly snores on the back of Wintergreen.
[23:03]<SpiritOfFate>	The conch bearer beckons them, trotting to the hut across the village
[23:04]?	Ignis follows in silence
[23:05]?	Hawkeye joins buck and peers into the jug. "What'd y'all find, handsome?" she asks. "Ah found our shelter for the night, and a lot of weird stuff about spirits."
[23:06]?	Wintergreen follows as well.
[23:11]<SpiritOfFate>	Buck lies by her side, leaving the jug and nuzzling her. "Some kind of fruit wine. Smells good, but the zebra who gave me looked like he was chewing something bitter. Brings me memories."
[23:11]?	Hawkeye retrieves the rest of her bacon and offers some to Buck. "Found bacon, too. Never can go wrong with bacon."
[23:13]<Hawkeye>	"They all look like that around here, sugarcube," Hawkeye says, returning the nuzzle and swapping bacon for wine. She takes a sip. Mmmmm... fruity! "There's a spirit or somethin' roundabouts that comes an GITS you when you smile or laugh too much," she says, nudging Buck in the ribs as she says GIT. The sniper pushes her hat back and leans on the unicorn stallion. "Why, who'd he remind you of?"
[23:15]<SpiritOfFate>	Buck grins. "I can agree with that." He takes a bit of the bacon. "Spirit huh? Dunno of any of those things, but back at the walls, there was no lack of grumpy ponies."
[23:17]<Hawkeye>	"Grumpy 'cuz they were slaves, or grumpy because they didn't have any purpose to their lives other than makin' others miserable?" she asks. Another sip of wine can't hurt, so she takes another swig.
[23:18]<SpiritOfFate>	Hawkeye feels a strange dizzyness after drinking, but it goes away quickly. She has an odd passing urge to make a soup.
[23:21]<SpiritOfFate>	"Mainly slaves. The others enjoyed themseves quite a bit messing with us. Most of them, at least."
[23:24]?	Hawkeye shrugs. "Ain't a surprise that bein' a slave makes y'all grumpy," she says, smacking her lips and thinking of how to properly season an iguana on a stick. "Ah'd never last as a slave. Ah'd try an' take a guard's gun, kill two folks, and get muh self shot before a week was out. Ah'm glad y'all had better sense than Ah do." She looks to see how much wine is left. Wouldn't do to hog it all....
[23:24]?	Hawkeye ..."Some of them folks was nice, though? Hard to imagine a nice slaver, but then again, Ah know Knick Knack, so..."
[23:30]?	Buck snerks. "Knick Knack wasn't like this. She was just a rich brat. The head slavemaster... old folks tell he was a slave, I don't get it. Still, wasn't nice, but he tried to keep us fed and safe. 'course, when you are between angry slaves about to snap and guards who'd hurt you for 'fun', that's not much."
[23:32]?	Hawkeye gives Buck a hurt look. "It's easy to lose yourself and just do what you're told when y'all don't feel like there's another option," she says, and takes a much larger pull of the wine. "But it's good y'all had someone lookin' out for you. Everypony needs that. Even if it's a mixed blessing," she adds darkly.
[23:36]<SpiritOfFate>	Buck looks at her, staying silent for a moment. he nuzzles her. "It's all in the past anyway."
[23:38]<Hawkeye>	"Yeah." Hawkeye puts the pitcher down and pushes it away, then lies back down on her mat. "Past shapes who we are, but it don't define us. Good night, Buck." She curls up and stares at the wall of the large building next to her.
[23:40]<SpiritOfFate>	"Good night."
