Midgard was not unlike Asgard upon first observation. It boasted large buildings and bustling citizens just like home. They were dressed oddly to him, but Balder knew that the culture would be different, so he did his best not to gawk like a child. However, that did not mean the others were not gawking at [i]him.[/i] Balder was in his armor, a blue and mythril set, with gold furnishings. He probably looked like he had stepped off the set in a movie, and consequently, there was a big production being filmed right there in Central Park. "Titans in New York" was the working title, and many of the onlookers gathering around him were asking for his autograph, thinking that with his handsome face and costume he must have been some sort of famous foreign actor from England or Australia.

A man approached him; he was carrying a strange horn that read 'director' on its surface. [b]"You're late!!"[/b] he sounded rudely in Balder's ear. Balder blinked, unsure of what to make of this behavior, but he did not react hostilely. Obviously this man was of some importance to this area to be treating his subjects as such. Or maybe he was just a fool.

Balder just laughed.

The director did not know how to respond and laughed as well as though the two of them were in on the same inside joke. [b]"Oh, you kidder you! I like you kid! You'll go far in this industry, God bless ya!"[/b] he patted the god on the back.[b] "Now, I need you over here. Here's your script. We changed a few of the lines since the producers thought the old stuff was a bit too cheesball. Now you remember the plot: you want to bring your brother home, but he's fallen in love with a human and doesn't want to leave. It's your job to bring him back, and now the two of you are in a duel to the death."[/b]

Balder gasped. How did this man their history? Wait, Thor did not wish to return to Asgard!? He wished to fight him!?

[b]"I know, kid. I know. It breaks my heart too. Now you kill em dead out there alright? You're gonna go far, kid. Mark my words! You're gonna go far!"[/b]

Balder held the script loosely in his hands, walking grimly to the battleground to face his brother in death.
