  1. It had been months since the incident with Eutan, and all the while Ulrik kept on sulking and wasting away in his room. He had barely eaten at all, and his figure had become even more alarming, the way he had slimmed down from the already skinny for he had prior to his almost-complete isolation. He only went outside for the purchase of food when the stomach pains became to much, then it was back into his cell of a room.
  2.
  3. It looked even more filthy and terrible than it had been in the past. His home was already a mess, a place in shambles, it's only residents living in a chaos of mess. Flies buzzed around in the house, the paint was peeling and dust was everywhere. Ulrik however, was on his bed, sitting in a criss-crossed-apple-sauce position. His eyes were closed and his hands were in a praryer like form as he meditated on his occult arcana. There were several tomes around him, each opened up with a few pages torn out from them.
  4.
  5. The engraved mark which Eutan had branded into his forehead was now a very noticable scar. The bandana he used to cover it was betwix his palms as he was in his medative state. Around his body were flickers of black fire highlighted with orange outlines. Within his mind all he saw was darkness, and felt only the sadness and rage within him. His forced his palms tighter together, breathing in deeply through his nostrils and out through his mouth. He was reading that to perfect occult magic, and control it instead of it controlling the weilder, one must get a grip of their emotions and learn to dominate them.
  6.
  7. Ulrik continued to breath in and out, his breathing beggining to speed up as flashes of his memories began to build up within his mind. He remembered when the house was still only a year or so old and still going through the early stages of disorganization and lack of care. He was two at the time, playing with a stick. He came into the house and into his parents laboratory where they cooked themselves up without end. He offered to play with them after having opened the door -- only to be beaten with the same stick he had brought into the room.
  8.
  9. They yelled at him, their occult auras prancing around them as they spoke in that tone of anger and hatred towards Ulrik.
  10.
  11. <font color=purple>"Don't interrupt us during our studies you useless juvenile such as yourself!"</font>
  12.
  13. The door slammed, the lock clicked, and Ulrik came back to the darkness that he saw within his mind. He pressed the tips of his fingers together against one another with a good amount of force. He felt tears beginning to stream down his face, and sniffed up the mucus that had begun to pour from his nostrils as he was beginning to cry in the middle of his meditation. Ulrik's occult aura acted up once more than it had before, it flaring up around him in a sad fury! He stopped his sobbing, a few slipping from his mouth as he did so. He sucked in his lower lip and bit down on it, breathing deeply again and again.
  14.
  15. Some time passed and eventually, the memory played back over in his mind once again, this time however, he did not act as erratic or as saddened by it, forcing to keep his emotions on lock. He breathed in steadily, him being forced to hiccup a few times as he choked back the sobs. Eventually the memory lost hold over Ulrik and his occult aura began to settle down once more.
  16.
  17. A few more hours passed with Ulrik in this state, resulting in him awaking with a great hunger. He grabbed a grocery bag he had brought into his room from a recent run to the Mormegil markets and began to consume whatever he could in that particular bag like a savage animal, before returning into his medative state.
