- So, I just bought a PS4. It's probably not a good idea for me financially, but it's something I've wanted and so I got it.
- This is a good opportunity for me to take a break from the FF13 trilogy. I've been feeling fairly worn out with it. I will not be gone forever of course. I still have to finish my version 2.0 of my FF13 any% notes (it is currently only well-written up through chapter 8), but I don't have a desire to touch it at the moment. I've been getting really good times lately, so it seems like I should keep pushing for sub-5:10 or whatever, but that doesn't have to happen now. Actually it would be good to step away from it for a while, since there's a chance new discoveries may be made that will make for faster times, or a clearer mind would help me figure out all the stupid things I have no business doing during the run, etc. So... yeah. Break time for now.
- Meanwhile there have been several games I've been meaning to play, but never got around to, so I'll be devoting my free time towards playing those games. I don't want to stop streaming during my break, so instead I'll probably be streaming some of my casual play. In fact, I could possibly be streaming more often, albeit for shorter periods, because I won't have to worry about having six hours blocked off toward an FF13 run.
- Right now I'll be playing Resident Evil: Revelations 2. If I get done with that, I'll move on to Metal Gear Solid 5. I'm not good at dividing my attention over multiple games, so I'll be sticking with one at a time for now.
- Just as a note: These are my first experiences with these games, so please don't spoil them. If my gameplay experience gets ruined, I probably won't continue streaming my casual play, and everyone would miss me. :-(
