Hwanhee is technically an accident because his parents had unprotected sex at the age of 17 when they were literally about to graduate high school, and the scenario wasn't a good thing. Hwanhee's mom was an American white girl, born and raised, while his dad was Korean but born in America.

Both parents were pissed as hell when they found out that the couple was pregnant because one, they're not married yet, and two, who's gonna take care of child support and other things? Definitely not the parents because it's not their kid. They want them to be responsible for what they have done. Hwanhee's father, Minho, applied for many jobs so they could have some money. The mother, Serena, didn't want an abortion. She wanted to be a mother even if it was an accident and that's why Minho wanted to find a job, whether it be retail or fast food, he'll take anything.

He found a job at a clothing store which is actually nice because he didn't even wanna be flipping burgers. Both Serena and Minho still went to school, and it was a good thing that Serena didn't show that much (because gossip and shit). They lived their lives normally, and Minho still had the job thankfully. School was hard while working (and for Serena, being pregnant).

A couple months have surpassed (about 5) and finals came. Both were stressed as hell, but Serena was worried about the baby. Putting stress on yourself can also put stress on the baby. She tried to stay calm with everything because her parents were definitely helping her at this point. They're her parents, they're obviously gonna help her with finals (and they were lowkey worried about soon to be Hwanhee).

The month of finals was over, and both being seniors, they have graduated, but the due date was in just two months. Serena was getting excited and nervous at the fact that it was soon. Minho was piling on money for clothes and other things, which is great. He wasn't spending any of the money. He was being a responsible soon to be father and experiencing life.

Minho's family wanted to have Hwanhee born in Korea, and raise him as a Korean. Serena was fine with that, and so was her family some how. She would just have to learn the language and culture. Minho already knew Korean, so he started teaching her basics (which she was amazing at saying, her pronunciation was great).

They moved to Korea just a week before the due date with Minho's family. They would help her around and such to get used to Korea. Minho's family predicted that Hwanhee would look more Korean, and they were right. Serena went into labor a few days early, but it was successful. Serena was exhausted though because y'know, it's her first time giving birth. The family settled in Minho's parents house. There were three extra rooms ironically, and it was enough space for all of them.

Minho and Serena's relationship was great until Hwanhee turned about 5. They were getting into fights about little things, and then it turned into one big fight. They were fighting about how to pay the bills because Minho wasn't getting paid enough at the local bakery he worked at back then. Serena wasn't working yet (but about to) because of how Hwanhee was just about to start school. The little fights made them seperate for a while, and Hwanhee with no mother. His grandparents took care of him when Minho wasn't home but he wanted his mother.

Serena never came back yet. Hwanhee was ten and she still never came back. Minho finally became a police officer, but still took time to hang with his son since he didn't have to work every day. Hwanhee wasn't really happy whenever he was alone and his father knew that, which is why he would go hang with Hwanhee on his breaks in the afternoon.

As Hwanhee started becoming a teenager, he became distant to everyone. He was close to his father still, but didn't really have friends. All he does is listen to music. It keeps him away from the world that might hurt him again, just like how his mother did. He's not depressed, he can be happy if someone actually takes the time to make him happy. All of the kids at school are shitty to him, so no one can really make him happy except his father.

 Hwanhee is probably the most childish person once you get to know him. On the outside where everyone pisses him off, he'll be quiet and basically rude. People say he looks depressed but he's not. He's just introverted to people he doesn't know. He doesn't talk much in general but can actually get quite shy and flustered. It's because he's not used to a lot of people talking to him at school. He is basically a bean when he's hanging out with someone close. In his classes (where he doesn't even know half their names), he'll be extremely quiet and sometimes rude if they say rude shit to him. Most of the time he won't reply because he might be listening to music (not during lessons though, he actually cares about his school work).
