[22:30] <@zooftop> Chase and company touch down right on the outskirts of one of the pit stops! A Wildling village themed bar and gift shop.  There's a few tourists already here dining and watching shows with performers reinacting old tribal rites.
[22:31] <@zooftop> Jungle is all around you, though.  Alice is still reviewing the notes. "Bugs...bugs...bugs...Scythers and Pinsirs are out here!  And those Vivillion things!"
[22:35] <@zooftop> Alice darts off into the jungle, dragging Anna!  Garcia looks over to the bar.  "Think I'll wait here.  Never really liked going into the jungle."
01[22:48] <Chase> "Gotcha." he nods at Garcia. "Tell us if the shows were any good?" he says before hurrying after to join Anna and Alice. "Vivillon, huh? Looked interesting...  That the only new bug type?"

[22:50] <@zooftop> You and Anna catch up to Alice after a bit.  She's already found a Scyther and is currently trying to get its attention.  Anna stands by her and watches her as you look around.
[22:50] <@zooftop> One of those Goomies is snoozing on a rock nearby.  It's snoring and puffing up and down.
[22:52] <@zooftop> A little bear Pokemon strolls on by with a leaf in its mouth.  It walks with a thuggish swagger.
[22:52] <@zooftop> You hear chirping above you.  There's some little red bird Pokemon on the branches above you.
01[22:53] <Chase> "Ahaa, there's the one Lil was talking about... " he looks around at the pokemon with a thoughtful expression.
01[22:53] <Chase> "Goomy, or something. I can't believe it's a dragon..." he watches it from afar, not wanting to wake it up just yet.
[22:54] <@zooftop> Before long Alice has already balled the Scyther, and darts on ahead.  Anna is watching the Goomy as well. "It's...a dragon? It's so cute!"
01[22:54] <Chase> "Looks like Alice's already found herself a tough-looking customer... Oh shit, and there she goes."
[22:55] <@zooftop> "She's fiiine.  That girl is a bundle of energy."
01[22:56] <Chase> "Heh, she sure is. I heard about you two becoming friends... glad it worked out. How've you two been getting along?" He's torn on whether he wants the Goomy or not. Definitely not the little panda. That dude probably wouldn't get along with Haydn.
01[22:57] <Chase> "And yeah, apparently it -is- a dragon. What do you think? Might be a good fit for you?"
[22:57] <@zooftop> Anna, mind you, is dressed a lot differently than you're used too as well. She looks like she's taken a few queues from Alice and is dressed in black jeans, boots, and a black peacoat.  She's got little spiked bracelets too.

[22:59] <@zooftop> "Things have been really fun lately!  Hm...if we can get two of them, a boy and a girl...it's too cute to pass up!" She bops it in its sleep and catches it.

01[23:02] <Chase> In the meantime, he starts to move on, not interested in the other two pokemon hanging around. "Good to hear it!"

[23:03] <@zooftop> Anna follows you.  Before long you've found Alice again, sitting on a stump.  There's Vivillions all over the place.  She's got a few perched on her, just sitting and resting.
[23:04] <@zooftop> It's really colorful with so many fluttering around, many different patterns.
01[23:04] <Chase> "Well, well, well, looks like we've got a little social butterfly here."
01[23:04] <Chase> "Damn, they come in a lot of different flavors, huh?"
[23:04] <@zooftop> Alice waves at you guys.  One lands on Anna's head, which spooks her for a second.  It's got a blue tint to it.
06[23:05] * Chase waves back as he walks into the place, looking around, before looking back at Anna. "...Hah. Looks like it likes you, too. The pattern even looks cold."
01[23:08] <Chase> He looks around, hrming as he tries to figure out what he wants...
01[23:09] <Chase> He actually looks around for the smaller ones - the Scatterbugs - that aren't flying around.
[23:09] <@zooftop> There's younger ones too, gathered around Alice.  Lots of little Scatterbugs.  Alice laughs. "I guess they like how I smell!  Hmmm, which one of you wants to come home with me?"  That only gets her swarmed any more, which just makes her laugh.
01[23:12] <Chase> He just smiles at that. "The whole phereomone thing, or maybe they just like you regardless?" he laughs. He kneels down and picks up one of the Scatterbugs, trying to get a feel for them.
[23:15] <@zooftop> It's rather calm.  Guess you've never handled a Caterpie before, but it's not terribly much different.  It seems just as interested in you as you are of it.
01[23:17] <Chase> "Curious little thing... Hey there." he's rather careful. "How'd you like to see the great big world out there?"
[23:20] <@zooftop> It seems agreeable enough for a bug! It tries to crawl up your arm and rest on your shoulder.  Anna's already balled the blue one, and Alice looks like she used half her remaining balls on Vivillions.
01[23:21] <Chase> He's happy to let it crawl on him. He rubs its head a bit and nods, he feels this. He taps the bug with his Safari Ball!
[23:24] <@zooftop> It's captured!  Alice hrms and looks over the document more.  "I know you'll wanna go to that cave for sure, Anna! Just wanna find a Pinsir while I'm here...looks like they are in the grassy area too."
01[23:25] <Chase> "Pinsir, Scyther, Heracross... you're really building up a team of formidable bugs. Though I wonder if anything's gonna be as scary as Connor..."

A guy and a girl, based on how they are dressed.  They are just wrapping up catching a pair of ghostly looking Pokemon with little wooden masks.

[23:34] <@zooftop> And as you guys exit the woods and into the grasslands, you catch sight of The Moon Wardens in the distance.  Most of them are sitting around, but Metal Sounds riding a Gogoat around and Dahlia seems locked in a staring contest with....something in the grass that you can't see yet.

[23:38] <@zooftop> You spot some Bulbasaurs and a Carnivine in the brush.  It's rather odd to see the latter just chilling and not trying to chomp someone.  As you walk further in, a Chespin marches past you.

01[23:39] <Chase> He definitely gives pause a moment at the normal pokemon... watches the procession for a moment, then decides to walk along with them for a moment.

[23:42] <@zooftop> ...Till it comes upon a yellow and red fox Pokemon that's napping in its way.  Then the whole march comes to a stop.
01[23:44] <Chase> "Huuh, that's interesting..." he thinks on it a moment. He's never really had any big interest in the military, and it was even a point of contention between him and his dad for a bit... though Kent did manage to show him they're not all so bad... and thinking on it, some of his pokemon do need a bit better discipline...  which he himself admits he's not very good at doing.  He hrms a bit, thoughtfully as he watches the marching band stop.
[23:50] <@zooftop> The Chespin seems to chatter at the fox a bit, but the fox just seems to shrug...and continue to rest...and the Chespin waits...
[23:51] <@zooftop> Anna snickers, walks up and scoops the fox up.  It flails in her arms as the Chespin salutes her, and continues the marching.
[23:51] <@zooftop> "Oh stop fussing, I know someone who would love to meet a Pokemon like you!" She starts trying to win this Fennekin over.

A lazy little fox, and a helpful, military-minded hedgehog..." he considers the dynamic if he catches the Chespin and Ammy gets the Fennekin, and finds himself suitably amused. He goes over to the Chespin, walking along with him. "You know, dude, I have a few friends who could use a little more motivation themselves."

01[23:59] <Chase> "And I think there's a lot we could learn from each other too..." he says, kind of distantly, thinking of his dad.
[23:59] <@zooftop> The Chespin stops, and considers briefly, and gestures to his cat friends.  Two of them in particular.

[00:07] <@zooftop> "It's...so adorable.  And the boys and girls grow up different, UPROAR?" Dahlia mutters.

01[00:07] <Chase> He briefly wonders if those creepy things he caught were a boy and a girl respectively, though he just curiously listens for the moment.
[00:08] <@zooftop> UPROAR: "SHO DO.  THE GIRLS BE ALL TOUGH N FIGHTY N THE BOYS ARE TRISKY MOTHER HUBBERS.  SHOOT, EVEN I THINK I NEEDA GET ME ONE."
[00:09] <@zooftop> Mir nods in agreement.  "Cute little Psychic Types."
01[00:10] <Chase> "Psychics... Yeah, I caught a couple back there, too. It's... probably going to take a little getting used to." he admits, looking at the Espurr's unflinching horrible glare.
[00:13] <@zooftop> Dahlia continues... "And we already got a boy and a girl of the lions...that's it I'm draining this place of kittens!" She scoops this one up and darts into the brush in search of more.
01[00:13] <Chase> He briefly thinks back on the two he saw on the way over and asking Dahlia... eh, fuck that. "Still... kind of amazing, all these new little critters."
[00:15] <@zooftop> Anna hrms.  "Still wonder where they all came from...you find what you were looking for, Alice?"
[00:15] <@zooftop> Alice nodsnods. "Pinsir aquired!"
01[00:16] <Chase> He hrms. He's got IDEAS of course after Saryx talked about the Hawlucha adventures, but it's kind of an awkward thing to bring up, now! "Pretty good haul, then!"
01[00:17] <Chase> "Man, when we ever rematch I'm gonna have it even worse." he laughs.
[00:18] <@zooftop> "Oh ho ho you have no idea!" Alice boasts as she starts toward the nearest sky lift. "C'mon I bet that place we saw had kick ass drink specials!"
