Personality: Takeo is pragmatic, moody, and straightforward. He often comes off as antisocial/rude to those who don't know him. He is the father of 17 year-old twins Kai and Ankoku and can be very protective of them - whether he likes to admit it or not. Takeo is not above using physical force against anyone who tries to antagonize him or his family. He's not exactly right in the head, but really does try his best to conduct himself. He actually deteriorated after his wife, Akiko, was shot to death. He owns a laundromat. Weeaboos get kicked out of it a lot.

Personality: Craig is a quiet, gluttonous young man with a much stronger stomach than most people. He suffers from pica and will eat almost everything he can get his hands on. He has almost every eating disorder in the book, but is recovering from them (except for pica). He is melancholy and unexpressive, almost like a robot. However, Craig honestly makes efforts to gain friends. He is grateful for the few close ones he has, who have been supportive and understanding. He enjoys fishing and painting and proudly displays photos of his catches and artwork.

3. Kiara O'Connor

Personality: Kiara is a social butterfly. She works in a flower shop and will talk to both people and plants. She can control plants, which has gotten her in trouble a few times. Despite people looking down on her powers, she keeps her head high and treats everyone with respect. Kiara DOES get angry, though. She knows when someone is using her as a doormat. She doesn't fall in love easily, which some people find confusing due to her personality.

Personality: Rosen's grandfather was a high-ranking Nazi soldier. His self-esteem is rather low due to his family's history. He moved to America with his mother and was bullied at school for his accent and grandfather's occupation. This has all taken a large toll on him. People tend to describe Rosen as awkward, self-deprecating, and overly apologetic. He donates to many charities in order to feel like he is and can be a better person. He does not speak unless spoken to and avoids any talk about WWII.
