	On May 13th the Aperture Science AI, GLaDOS is activated on the bring your daughter to work day.
	The rouge AI seals the facility and releases a neurotoxin into the ventilation system.
	The few researchers that escaped were interviewed by the FBI, but the case is quickly transferred to the CIA.

1998, May 25th - Take over
	The Aperture Science Inc is placed under the control of the US government.

1998, June 7th - Destruction
	The Aperture Science research centre is declared unsafe to enter.
	Destruction of the research centre is scheduled for June 29th.

1998, June 29th - Good bye Aperture
	The Aperture Science Research Centre is destroyed via air force tactical air strike.

1998, July 5th - D-Day
	Aperture Science is officially closed.
	New regulations and restrictions on AI research are created.

2000, March 1st - New ownership
	Aperture Science is placed under ownership of [REDACTED].

2000, March 20th - Rebirth
	New Aperture Science research centre officially announced.

2000, December 12th - Reconstruction
	Construction of the new research centre begins in the mountain regions of Colorado.

2013, December 15th - New staff
	Old staff are offered jobs at Aperture Science, 50% of them accept.
	Researchers are recruited from around the world.

2014, August 24th - Complete
	Construction of the new research centre is completed.

	The new research centre is officially opened by its Director of Research, Davis Stryker.
