  1. >There I am. working at a hot dog stand. I literally have no idea what im doin.
  2. >It’s in the middle of my city, near a park I'm very familiar with.
  3. >I try to think back to my memories, and i can picture a bright day, and working in the stand with a random girl. I not sure if I ever met her, but you know how dreams are,
  4. >At the time though, it felt like any other day, except I didn’t work at a hot dog stand, that, and the fact that I could remember earlier in the day, which was a memory that rarely happens in dreams.
  5. >I can't really remember the transitions but I said by to the girl and went on my way home.
  6. >For some reason it’s really dark.
  7. >I turn back to look at the hot dog stand, And it seems to be a warm and inviting beacon of light.
  8. >It must be night time or something.
  9. >Everything has a dullness to it; it's all just a little gray.
  10. >I don’t know what came over me, but I take a route home through the alley ways.
  11. >It not even a short cut, but I continue like it’s a just normal or something.
  12. >there is a fog that sets in. the air feels cool, wet, just like 5 am on a spring morning.
  13. >I don’t know how but i transitioned it to a hoodie.
  14. >I can remember clearly seeing my breath as I exhale. That in massive moon in the sky.
  15. >I continue walking through the alleys, looking at the back ends of the buildings besides me. They just keep going up, endlessly.
  16. >I see some of the fire escapes on some. and some of those one ton garbage cans.
  17. >In the back of my head, I can remember thinking about Haven. I can remember looking at my scenery, thinking about how cool it would be if I was walking through the alleys of a dream.
  18. >The alley ways start twisting and winding, and befor i know it, I find myself lost.
  19. >There aren’t any recognizable landmarks, or even a way out of the alleyways. I take mindless turns left and right, still in my head.
  20. >It’s in my head.
  21. >All of it…right?
  22. >Then it hits me.
  23. >I feel something isn’t right. maybe missing, or out of place.
  24. >I can’t put my finger on it, but that’s what is really screwing with my head.
  25. >it’s not the fact that it’s dark, and all i have to see with is the luminescent light from an over sized moon. It’s not the fact that there is a gray haze pouring down from the sky or that it encompass my entire field of views.
  26. >I hear footsteps from behind me.
  27. >I turn to see some homeless looking drunkard.
  28. >He looks at me frantically. I can feel his evil intent.
  29. >I notice that he is holding a knife.
  30. “Hey man, I Don’t want any-
  31. >”FUCK YOU MAN!!” ARE YOU THE DEVIL; THE GHOST! I-I’M GONNA KILL HIM”
  32. >It look as if he’s not even looking at me.
  33. >He starts babbling to me, telling me to give him my money.
  34. >He goes back and forth on what I’d imagne a mugging to be, and some guy that’s not making coherent sentences.
  35. >I wish it were a dream so that Haven could teach this guy a thing or two.
  36. >It’s insane how i'm feeling right now.
  37. >That weird feeling is still there.
  38. >It doesn't bother me at all that this guys is insane. It doesn’t bother me that i can see my breath, but I don’t feel the slightest of chill in the air. It doesn’t fucking bother me that. the building tower up about me to no end.
  39. >There is just this feeling that is scratch the back of my head, and I yet to undestand it.
  40. >I take out my wallet and show it to him.
  41. >Before my eyes, the wall behind him starts getting dark...darker and darker.
  42. >I take a step back out of reflex.
  43. >That blackness on the wall. it’s sents shivers down my spine; I feel frozen.
  44. >The man is just screaming, thrusting his knife up and down, as he looks at me, oblivious to the figure taking form.
  45. >I KNOW NOW. I know what that feeling is…the feeling thats fucking with me, the one in the back of my head.
  46. >It’s fear. Pure. Concentrated. Fear.
  47. >The blood drain from me, I literally go numb. unable to think, let alone move or speak.
  48. >It’s solidifies into a monster, I can still remen it’s piercing red eyes. Just staring at me.
  49. >I see as one if its tentacles form into a spear and instantly is sticking out of the middle of the mans chest.
  50. >Blood gushes out everywhere as the guy tries to turn around.
  51. >He brings up his knife while he screams,
  52. >His arms just falls off as a tentacle pass right through it, spraying blood everywhere.
  53. >I just watch unable to do anything. I just stumble backwards and up against the building wall.
  54. >I start calling for Haven in my head, asking her to save my life.
  55. >The man is raise straight up on the air, gasping and gurgling on his own blood.
  56. >The mother forms a mouth. Its bloody and full of black spikes.
  57. >The man flails his arms and legs, but it’s no use, the mothers starts devouring him.
  58. >I can hear the shrieks and cries echo in the silence.
  59. >I’m scared to death, and soon I’ll be just like that man...I’ll be gone and forgotten just like I never existed.
  60. >It Starts coming for me, and I dig my feet into the ground trying to push the building wall behind me.
  61. >I Can see the tentacle coming closer, then solidifying into sharp spear.
  62. >It’s coming closer! Those piercing red eyes, I do the last thing I can think of. I scream.
  63. “HELP ME HAVEN!!!!!”
  64. >The spear of darkness flies into my chest, and I squeeze my eyes shut.
  65. >”Always getting yourself into trouble, huh?”
  66. >That voice, it’s her!
  67. >I open my eyes to see a grotesque sight. the spear of darkness is in my chest but it doesn't hurt, not even the slightest bit.
  68. >Darkness forms all around me. I can feel it in each and every pore.
  69. >Everything turns black, but I don’t feel that fear anymore, I’m not even scared.
  70. >The darkness exits my body and I can see again.
  71. >The tentacle isn’t in my chest anymore.
  72. >There standing in front of me is Haven!
  73. >The same as usual, with that heart warming smile and her noticeable sleep deprived eyes.
  74. >’Don’t worry squishy. I’ll take care of this nightmare.
  75. >After she says that, she forms into a dark mass just like the monster in front of her, only, her eyes are an intense glowing blue.
  76. >It’s almost scary, if I didn’t know better, I’d think she as a monster.
  77. >The shadow in front of her back into the building and starts reverting into nothingness.
  78. >As soon as it all happens, it’s all over, and Haven turns back into her normal pony self.
  79. >”That right run! I’ll be waiting.
  80. >She turns to me and give me a comforting smile.
  81. >I am overwhelmed with my emotions, I’m about to cry.
  82. >she rolls her eyes and give me playful smile.
  83. >She then awkwardly stand up on her back hooves, with her front hooves open wide.
  84. >I run up to her, embrace her, picking her up and twirling around.
  85. >She hugs me back and says, “It’s been a while, I’m sorry I havent seen you.”
  86. “I don’t care! you’re here right now! thats all that matters.”
  87. >I set her down, still hugging her tight.
  88. >”No, I sorry, I truly am.”
  89. >I let go as I kneel on the ground and look back at her.
  90. >Haven looks as it she’s going to cry.
  91. >it’s so out of character. Havens always the one to comfort me, no matter what. She’s always smiling a protecting me.
  92. >I wipe the tears away from her eyes.
  93. “Don’t cry, I can't bare to see it.”
