  4. [10:57] orosboru: Soon!
  5. [10:57] orosboru: As soon as everyone is here we'll begin.
  6. [11:00] Bunchacrunch: ah, wanted to take a rest (had anouther allnighter...heh) but if we are almost good to go then
  7. [11:03] Bunchacrunch: so uh, yeah
  8. [11:03] Bunchacrunch: I don't want to hang the game on account of me. How soon we talkin bout?
  9. [11:03] Adhemar Le Roux: yeah, when can Alvah do his thing again!
  10. [11:04] orosboru: We could delay.
  11. [11:04] orosboru: Again.
  12. [11:04] orosboru flop
  13. [11:04] orosboru: You had a all nighter? You should rest
  14. [11:05] System: Max Boltzmann is online.
  15. [11:06] Bunchacrunch: If people are waiting on me I could be here. I don't need much rest, just 2hrs or so.
  16. [11:06] Bunchacrunch: like I thought the time to do this was at 5 or so
  17. [11:07] orosboru: We'll pick up later, then.
  18. [11:07] orosboru: Copely is away and Mugenn is dead
  19. [11:07] orosboru: when you wake up guys check in
  20. [11:08] Copley: I'm here
  21. [11:09] orosboru: The dragon awakes!
  22. [11:10] orosboru: Flee
  23. [11:10] Bunchacrunch: I'll check back in roughly 2 hours and we can start then, ok?
  24. [11:11] orosboru: Okay!
  25. [11:14] orosboru: Oh yeah. I'm going to kick it up a notch
  26. [11:29] System: Alanna of Trebond is online.
  27. [13:07] Bunchacrunch: ((Alright! I am here!))
  28. [13:09] orosboru: Yay!
  29. [13:09] orosboru snugs
  30. [13:10] Bunchacrunch: ((Everyone else good or should we assume that Mugenn temporarily got taken by the warp?))
  31. [13:11] orosboru: I think some peeps are sleeping
  32. [13:11] orosboru pokes
  33. [13:11] Adhemar Le Roux: ayyy lmao
  34. [13:12] orosboru: Copley?
  35. [13:13] orosboru: You're the crucial ingredient to our game stew
  36. [13:14] Copley: Da?
  37. [13:14] orosboru: Let's begin!
  38. [13:14] orosboru: You ready?
  39. [13:16] Bunchacrunch: I am
  40. [13:16] Adhemar Le Roux: sure why not
  41. [13:17] Adhemar Le Roux: If it's okay I'm gonna play on Adhemar though, its a hassle moving over for nothing
  42. [13:17] orosboru: It's cool
  43. [13:18] orosboru: Deep in the void of space, a assault pod grinds and hisses in its launch nacelle as the Blackwatch listening post picks up on the disintegrating remnants of another failed crusade...
  44. [13:19] orosboru: Trajectories are calculated. Casuality numbers are estimated, and printed off. Information is beamed to distant inquisitorial cells, which decides on a course of action...
  45. [13:20] orosboru: The saviour pod you are on is calculated to land, intact, on a Imperial-friendly world, one which is about to be brought back into the fold. This is unacceptable.
  46. [13:21] orosboru: Deep in cryo-sleep, the Space Marine awakens...
  47. [13:21] orosboru: Now. Back to our heretics in progress...
  48. [13:22] System: Lady Katarina is offline.
  49. [13:22] orosboru: The rampaging spawn, heavily wounded but still struggling, roars as it rushes past Mugenn's reach, sending him flying into the wall and hitting the side, unconcious, as it attempts to close the distance with the bolter-wielder...
  50. [13:22] orosboru: (NEW INITIATIVE!)
  51. [13:23] Bunchacrunch: ((Been awhile. Uh, my int is 35))
  52. [13:23] Bunchacrunch: ((Oh, thats probobly intelligance, not initiative, is it?))
  53. [13:24] Adhemar Le Roux: (yeah I don't remember how to roll for int either)
  54. [13:24] Robutt: Robutt Epsilon online and operational.
  55. [13:24] Copley: !r 1d10+4
  56. [13:24] Robutt: Copley: 1d10+4 = 5
  57. [13:24] Adhemar Le Roux: (where'd you get the plus 4?)
  58. [13:25] orosboru: check digit on, uh...
  59. [13:26] Copley: (Agility bonus+2 from The Quick or the Dead)
  60. [13:26] Adhemar Le Roux: agi?
  61. [13:26] Adhemar Le Roux: !r 1d10+5
  62. [13:26] Robutt: Adhemar Le Roux: 1d10+5 = 7
  63. [13:26] Bunchacrunch: ((33 here))
  64. [13:27] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10
  65. [13:27] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10 = 4
  66. [13:27] orosboru: !r 1d10
  67. [13:27] Robutt: orosboru: 1d10 = 7
  68. [13:27] orosboru: Spawn gets a 5.
  69. [13:30] orosboru: Buncha should have gotten at least 6.
  70. [13:30] orosboru: So, uh
  71. [13:30] orosboru: who goes first?
  72. [13:31] Adhemar Le Roux: I got a 7 if that wins
  73. [13:32] orosboru: I think so
  74. [13:33] Adhemar Le Roux: Okay well from the farthest back I shoot hotshot laspistol at the spawn again.
  75. [13:33] Adhemar Le Roux: !r 1d100 target number is 35
  76. [13:33] Robutt: Adhemar Le Roux: 1d100 = 9
  77. [13:34] Copley: (Have you guys not read the rules for combat at all?)
  78. [13:34] Adhemar Le Roux: (its been a very long time since we last played)
  79. [13:34] Adhemar Le Roux: (If this is a problem for you I can go)
  80. [13:34] Adhemar Le Roux: (or skip turn)
  81. [13:35] Bunchacrunch: ((Yeah its been a while))
  82. [13:35] Copley: (It's fine)
  83. [13:35] orosboru: Sorry. A bit rusty...
  84. [13:35] Copley: (We go in order of the results we rolled, with the highest going first and lowest going last)
  85. [13:36] orosboru: Yup.
  86. [13:36] Bunchacrunch: ((Yeah that checks out))
  87. [13:36] Adhemar Le Roux: (well then who got higher than a 7? They can go, I just thought I got highest)
  88. [13:38] Bunchacrunch: ((To keep things moving we should probobly go with the order Oros posted earlier
  89. [13:39] orosboru: Okay. Order.
  90. [13:40] Bunchacrunch: ((Sigh, damnit copley...))
  91. [13:40] orosboru: Adhemar. Buncha. Spawn and Copley.
  92. [13:40] orosboru: mhm.
  93. [13:40] orosboru explodes
  94. [13:40] orosboru: Hope he comes back
  95. [13:40] Adhemar Le Roux: (So It was my turn? Why'd Copley get all mad then?)
  96. [13:41] Copley: Damn DC's
  97. [13:41] Bunchacrunch: ((Heh, alright, whew. Okay, order is Adhemar, me, spawn, Copley))
  98. [13:42] Adhemar Le Roux: (Okay so was my first roll correct then? To shoot I have to roll under Ballistic Skill right?)
  99. [13:42] orosboru: Yup!
  100. [13:42] orosboru: At point blank
  101. [13:43] orosboru: you have 2 degrees of success.
  102. [13:43] orosboru: Roll ye damage!
  103. [13:44] orosboru: This a semi-auto burst?
  104. [13:44] orosboru: Or a regular ranged attack?
  105. [13:44] Adhemar Le Roux: hotshot, I'm guessing that's single shot if I recall correctly
  106. [13:44] Adhemar Le Roux: okay damage is 10+2
  107. [13:45] Adhemar Le Roux: !r 1d10+2
  108. [13:45] Robutt: Adhemar Le Roux: 1d10+2 = 10
  109. [13:45] orosboru: Lemme roll for hit location
  110. [13:45] orosboru: !r 1d100
  111. [13:45] Copley: you don't roll for hit location
  112. [13:45] orosboru: Robutt no
  113. [13:45] orosboru: Oh. Okay.
  114. [13:45] orosboru flop
  115. [13:45] orosboru: sorry
  116. [13:45] Copley: hit location is your to-hit roll backwards
  117. [13:45] orosboru: forgot a bout that
  118. [13:46] orosboru: So he got a 90
  119. [13:46] orosboru: Left leg!
  120. [13:46] orosboru: The spawn's left leg abruptly gives out, little wriggling sucks and tiny toes sprouting from its rapidly closing wound.
  121. [13:47] orosboru: Okay. That was a half action.
  122. [13:47] orosboru: You have half an action left.
  123. [13:47] Adhemar Le Roux: Can I move in a half-action? I'll go max my speed away from the beast
  124. [13:47] Adhemar Le Roux: even if that's just a 5ft shuffle, I'll take anything!
  125. [13:48] orosboru: Yup.
  126. [13:48] orosboru: Adhemar moves as fast as possible (his full movement.) away from the beast.
  127. [13:48] orosboru: Okay. Buncha's turn.
  128. [13:48] Adhemar Le Roux: (my move is 3 6 9 18)
  129. [13:49] Bunchacrunch: ((Right, distance from Anna?))
  130. [13:49] orosboru: Any closer and you'd be swapping fluids
  131. [13:49] orosboru: :P
  132. [13:49] orosboru: Point blank.
  133. [13:51] orosboru: +30 to BS
  134. [13:51] Bunchacrunch: ((Hrm, I suppose I should be asking if I can risk a hit should it not fall))
  135. [13:51] orosboru: It's a close combat beast
  136. [13:52] orosboru: but it's merely human-shredding, not marine-shredding
  137. [13:52] orosboru: :P
  138. [13:53] Bunchacrunch: ((But I am just a human! Okay, If I move can I get a considerable distance away from it?))
  139. [13:53] orosboru: Yup.
  140. [13:53] orosboru: Adhemar shot it in the foot.
  141. [13:53] orosboru: So I've decided that it moves slower. For now.
  142. [13:53] orosboru: :P
  143. [13:55] Bunchacrunch: ((Yeah, lets do that then)) Anna takes the moment to haul ass away from the beast. "I'd say you've seen better days sweetheart, but I doupt thats true!" ((Movement: 3 / 6 / 9 / 18))
  144. [13:56] orosboru: (The second number is your half-move.)
  145. [13:56] orosboru: (Sorry, the first.)
  146. [13:56] orosboru: (Read the ta ble wrong.)
  147. [13:57] orosboru: Adhemar moves 3 meters.
  148. [13:57] orosboru: Are you talking a half action?
  149. [13:57] orosboru: to move?
  150. [13:57] Bunchacrunch: ((Uh, shooting is anouther half, right?))
  151. [13:58] orosboru: (Yup.)
  152. [13:58] orosboru: (You move out of point blank. You have a +20 WS bonus, however. Since it is Near.)
  153. [13:59] orosboru: (So brakka brakka.)
  154. [13:59] Bunchacrunch: ((Yeah, lets fire a few bolts at it. 3 meter move, followed by letting loose with the bolter))
  155. [14:01] orosboru: Okay. Semi-auto burst!
  156. [14:01] orosboru: Roll your attack. With +20 BS.
  157. [14:01] Bunchacrunch: ((Waiting for me? BS is 39+5))
  158. [14:02] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10+25
  159. [14:02] Bunchacrunch: goddmanit
  160. [14:03] Bunchacrunch: ((where the hell do I roll?))
  161. [14:04] Robutt: Robutt Epsilon online and operational.
  162. [14:05] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10+25
  163. [14:05] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10+25 = 29
  164. [14:05] Copley: (Don't add modifiers to your D100 roll)
  165. [14:05] Copley: (You add those to the target number you are rolling under)
  166. [14:05] Bunchacrunch: ((Then I got a 4))
  167. [14:05] Copley: (You rolled a d10, not a d100)
  168. [14:06] Bunchacrunch: ((Ah))
  169. [14:06] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d100
  170. [14:06] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d100 = 47
  171. [14:06] Bunchacrunch: ((Still a success though))
  172. [14:06] orosboru: 64/47
  173. [14:06] orosboru: not enough to get another shot in, sadly.
  174. [14:07] orosboru: But you hit!
  175. [14:07] orosboru: !roll your damage!
  176. [14:07] Robutt: orosboru: Unrecognized roll structure.
  177. [14:07] orosboru: :P
  178. [14:07] orosboru: uh, that's 1d10 + 1
  179. [14:07] orosboru: (thanks copley for being patient.)
  180. [14:07] Copley: (That's semi-auto right?)
  181. [14:08] Copley: (You get 2 shots that hit if that's the case)
  182. [14:09] Bunchacrunch: ((Right. 1d10+5x, so the question is what is the 5x))
  183. [14:11] Bunchacrunch: ((I mean is anything added to the 1d10?))
  184. [14:13] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10
  185. [14:13] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10 = 4
  186. [14:13] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10
  187. [14:13] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10 = 1
  188. [14:13] orosboru: I think your degrees of success
  189. [14:14] orosboru: and uh
  190. [14:14] orosboru: that's terrible
  191. [14:14] System: Kyos Kitsune is offline.
  192. [14:14] Bunchacrunch: ((Well, at least it hit))
  193. [14:16] orosboru: Buncha's body shots sink into its morass of flesh, exploding outward as they exit the body, but barely slowing the thing down...
  194. [14:16] Copley: (X is the damage type)
  195. [14:16] orosboru: Okay. It's Copely and the Spawn's turn!
  196. [14:16] Copley: (X being shorthand for Explosive)
  197. [14:17] Copley: And if that's a bolter, it'll have tearing
  198. [14:17] Copley: so you roll your damage dice twice for each shot, and take the highest result
  199. [14:18] orosboru: mang.
  200. [14:18] orosboru: Okay.
  201. [14:18] orosboru: Roll ye damage again
  202. [14:18] Bunchacrunch: ((Okay, shot 2 then))
  203. [14:18] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10
  204. [14:18] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10 = 6
  205. [14:18] Bunchacrunch: ((Just once? Least thats better))
  206. [14:18] orosboru: twice
  207. [14:18] orosboru: both shots are explosive
  208. [14:18] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d10
  209. [14:18] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d10 = 6
  210. [14:19] Copley: (It's the tearing special quality that does that, not the damage type)
  211. [14:19] orosboru: ...but as the carnage unfolds, you tear through the fat and chitinous shell - to reveal a heart, a mewling, weeping heart, a human face pulsing in agony with every beat.
  212. [14:19] orosboru: (Alright, it's copley's turn.
  213. [14:19] Copley: (What about the spawn?)
  214. [14:21] orosboru: (Technically, you guys go at the same time.)
  215. [14:21] orosboru: (But you're faster. Trust me. So I'll let you do your thing first.)
  216. [14:21] Copley: (What's it's Agility Bonus?)
  217. [14:21] orosboru: (Not... good.)
  218. [14:21] Copley: (Is it 2?)
  219. [14:21] orosboru: yes
  220. [14:21] Copley: (Then it's the same as mine)
  221. [14:22] orosboru: Oh dear.
  222. [14:22] orosboru: Okay.
  223. [14:22] Copley: Just roll a d2
  224. [14:22] orosboru: !r 1d2 (I AM GRUE)
  225. [14:22] Robutt: orosboru: 1d2 = 2
  226. [14:22] System: Kyos Kitsune is online.
  227. [14:22] System: Kyos Kitsune changed status to Away
  228. [14:22] orosboru: Spawn goes first.
  229. [14:22] Copley: Alright
  230. [14:23] orosboru: Wretching, mewling, the pustulant smell of Nurgle's Rot permeates the dying creature as it slovenly attempts to take one of you with it to Nurgle's throne, blindly lashing out...
  231. [14:23] orosboru: !r 1d3
  232. [14:23] Robutt: orosboru: 1d3 = 1
  233. [14:23] orosboru: ...at Adhemar!
  234. [14:23] orosboru: It's going to attempt to charge.
  235. [14:24] orosboru: Wait. Three meters.
  236. [14:24] orosboru: Sight.
  237. [14:24] orosboru: Okay.
  238. [14:24] orosboru: I can't charge.
  239. [14:24] orosboru: But I can half move and all out attack.
  240. [14:24] orosboru: And that's great.
  241. [14:24] orosboru: !r 1d100 under 60
  242. [14:24] Robutt: orosboru: 1d100 = 95
  243. [14:25] Copley: It can half-move and make a standard attack
  244. [14:25] Copley: AOA is a full action
  245. [14:25] orosboru: Oh.
  246. [14:25] orosboru: Sorry. I was reading the charge description
  247. [14:25] orosboru: I thought I could do that.
  248. [14:25] orosboru: My bad.
  249. [14:25] orosboru: Anyway, it missed horribly.
  250. [14:26] Copley: Alright then, time to go FULL AUTO on this chaos spawn
  251. [14:26] orosboru: The sinious embrace of Slaneesh tickles by Adhemar's throat as he gains a sudden insight into the clumsy beast's attack!
  252. [14:26] Copley: What's my range to it?
  253. [14:26] Adhemar Le Roux: (Hehehe, truly Slaanesh is best. I was waiting for that to one hit me)
  254. [14:27] orosboru: Near.
  255. [14:27] Copley: so +10 to hit yes?
  256. [14:28] orosboru: Yup!
  257. [14:28] orosboru: I think so.
  258. [14:28] orosboru: Wait.
  259. [14:28] System: Fran-070 is online.
  260. [14:28] Copley: Alright then, combined with an half-action aim that'd give me +20 to hit.
  261. [14:29] System: Kyos Kitsune is offline.
  262. [14:29] System: Kyos Kitsune is online.
  263. [14:29] System: Kyos Kitsune changed status to Away
  264. [14:31] orosboru: Gun gun!
  265. [14:31] orosboru: Roll ye damage
  266. [14:31] orosboru: sorry attack rol
  267. [14:32] Copley: !r 1d100 TN 62
  268. [14:32] Robutt: Copley: 1d100 = 23
  269. [14:32] Copley: 4 hits
  270. [14:33] Copley: !r 1d10+3
  271. [14:33] Robutt: Copley: 1d10+3 = 8
  272. [14:33] Copley: !r 1d10+3

  277. [14:33] Robutt: Copley: 1d10+3 = 10
  278. [14:33] Copley: That's all the hits done, no Armour Pen on them.
  279. [14:33] orosboru: Ow ow ow.
  280. [14:34] orosboru: Copely pulls down the trigger, his unrelenting assault turning the poor thing to a pile of pulp and meat.
  281. [14:34] orosboru: Such is the fate of those found wanting by the gods. Culled and tormented, a plaything for thirsting gods.
  282. [14:35] orosboru: Everyone recieves one corruption and one infamy!
  283. [14:35] Copley: (Woo!)
  284. [14:36] Bunchacrunch: Walking up to the beast, Anna gives it a good kick, still clutching her bolter. "Yeah, get the hell out of here, you!"
  285. [14:36] Copley reloads his autogun and offers up a catechism of thanks to the dark gods for this victory!, then makes his way to the most likely dead hereteks to scrounge for loot, a good champion of chaos knows that the dead don't need their equipment any more
  286. [14:38] orosboru: Make ye looting rolls.
  287. [14:38] orosboru: The big prize here is the Heavy Bolter
  288. [14:39] orosboru: But getting it to work is going to be difficult
  289. [14:39] Bunchacrunch: ((What is rolled for looting?))
  290. [14:39] Copley: (Nothing afaik)
  291. [14:40] Copley: (And it's be tech-use to get the Heavy Bolter working now, but still, even draggin that along as a prize to fix later is a huge thing)
  292. [14:40] orosboru: (Awareness or Inquiry are both relevant here.)
  293. [14:41] orosboru: Depending on how much time you guys take, you can get a penalty or a bonus.
  294. [14:41] orosboru: It will take 20 minutes to fully look this place out.
  295. [14:41] orosboru: That is a +0 mod.
  296. [14:41] Adhemar Le Roux: !r 1d100 target number is (I don't either upped)
  297. [14:41] Robutt: Adhemar Le Roux: 1d100 = 49

  299. [14:42] Robutt: Copley: 1d100 = 71
  300. [14:42] Bunchacrunch: ((Probobly don't want to take *too* long, things going down. So to use the Awareness skill I roll... what?))
  301. [14:42] Copley: Welp!
  302. [14:42] Copley: (Perception)
  303. [14:42] Bunchacrunch: !r 1d100 TN 39
  304. [14:42] Robutt: Bunchacrunch: 1d100 = 34
  305. [14:43] Copley: (Now I don't have Tech-use to fix the HB, but I sure as hell am hauling that thing out of here)
  306. [14:44] orosboru: To a more enlightened individual, with all the time in the world and the right tools, would find a fortune of implants and tech in these dead hereteks.
  307. [14:44] orosboru: But you guys have less scruples, less knowledge, and no time.
  308. [14:45] Adhemar Le Roux: WEll we gotta go, only 4 can escape and all that
  309. [14:45] orosboru: Bunchacrunch finds a crude weapons upgrade kit, with a old scope, synthethic materials, and other materials that would make a gunsmith drool.
  310. [14:45] Copley grabs the heavy bolter and starts hauling it away in whatever direction it is to the designated point of escape!
  311. [14:46] orosboru: Copely grabs the heavy bolter. It's jammed at the moment.
  312. [14:46] orosboru: It's also very heavy.
  313. [14:46] Copley: (I'll manage)
  314. [14:46] orosboru: It comes off the mount without an issue, but it hasn't been modified to be hand-portable. You fold the brace and put it into your back.
  315. [14:46] Copley: (And it's only jammed?)
  316. [14:46] orosboru: Adehmar doesn't find anything.
  317. [14:47] orosboru: In character, you have no idea what's wrong with it.
  318. [14:47] orosboru: But yes. OOCly, it is only 'jammed.'
  319. [14:47] orosboru: Okay.
  320. [14:47] Bunchacrunch: She shakes the kit to check its contents "Very nice..." she comments "Looks like Christmas comes early!"
  321. [14:47] Copley: (I have bolt weapon training, I think I'd notice that it's jammed)
  322. [14:47] Copley looks confused, "What's a christmas?"
  323. [14:48] orosboru: (Make a tech use check, then.)
  324. [14:49] Adhemar Le Roux "I can't find anything worth taking, not one thing of beauty or craftsmanship!" He looks at the heavy bolter with some disdain "What a crude weapon, though no doubt it has its uses""
  325. [14:49] orosboru: Hereteks have little use for beauty or aesthetics.
  326. [14:50] Copley: (Clearing a Jam is a ballistic skill test)
  327. [14:51] orosboru: (Okay. Well, try.)
  328. [14:52] Bunchacrunch: Flipping the bolter in her hands, she packs the kit away "Yeah, I'm fine. Don't blow your load trying to fix it!" Anna replys smugly
  329. [14:53] Copley: !r 1d100 TN 42
  330. [14:53] Robutt: Copley: 1d100 = 87
  331. [14:53] Copley: No luck for now!
  332. [14:53] orosboru: *ping*
  333. [14:53] orosboru: The heavy bolter barks.
  334. [14:54] orosboru: *woof*
  335. [14:55] orosboru: It seems the problem with this weapon is worse than you thought.
  336. [14:55] orosboru: It seems clogged for now.
  337. [14:55] orosboru: As the heat of battle dies down, the silence is suddenly punctured with a ripping and tearing sound.
  338. [14:56] orosboru: To Anna, it's the sound of a boarding pod!
  339. [14:56] orosboru: You hear the brief wind of air escaping into the void before bulkheads seal to keep the air in.
  340. [14:57] orosboru: The sound of gunfire raises to a fever pitch and doesn't stop.
  341. [14:57] orosboru: You are standing at the end of the hallway, which is the main holding area for any survivors of the ship. The floor is very bloody and wet.
  342. [14:58] Bunchacrunch: She grumbles, putting away her bolter and cracking her knuckles. "Now who the hell would be trying to board this fucker?"
  343. [14:58] orosboru: Ahead is the slightly more lusurious quarters, where the saviour pod can be steered. It is also the location of the kitchenette.
  344. [14:58] orosboru: It is also where that nutso prophet shacked up.
  345. [14:58] Adhemar Le Roux "Who cares who's boarding? If we get off this wreck it won't matter"
  346. [14:59] Copley checks to make sure the Heavy Bolter is secure on his back before he readies his autogun and proceeds onwards into the fancier part of the ship, gun raised and at the ready for any trouble!
  347. [15:00] Bunchacrunch: Anna pulls her Mace out, smacking it on her leg. "We have to move! Now!"
  348. [15:01] orosboru: You can hear a child whimpering as he is forcibly carried through the crowd of screaming fanatics, as you carefully linger in the shadows above the spectacle. The room is two-leveled, with a double staircase in the middle...
  349. [15:02] orosboru: "I AM BLESSED BY THE GODS THEMSELVES!" The massive prophet, a tiny head bobbing on a enormous body, shouts in estascy. "My very touch brings enlightenment! All those who oppose me know only... DEATH!" He brings a large, muscular fist to grab the child, and gives it a sinister kiss before he throws the body into the crowd.
  350. [15:02] orosboru: The cultists back away from the cold and shivering feeling. And then... there is a change.
  351. [15:03] orosboru: First, the muscles bulge out, distended, the sound of cracking bones and bleeding marrow echoing in the small chamber. The cultists fall amongst themselves, praising the glory of the gods, as the child becomes a sad, unfortunate spawn.
  352. [15:04] orosboru: Instead of becoming a enormous combat monster, however, it seems that none of the gods wish to give their favour to such a creature. Its flesh tears its frail body apart as it murmurs, its every moment a constant agony.
  353. [15:05] orosboru: The crowd turns murderous in a instant, kicking, slashing, clawing at the mute thing, as it trembles slowly away...
  354. [15:05] Adhemar Le Roux sniggers a little at the impotence of the false prophet, though he is smart enough not to laugh loud enough for the crowd to hear.
  355. [15:05] orosboru: But it is clear that the prophet has had successes. Large, burly figures, barely controlled by their handlers, sit at the side of the improvised throne. It is clear how he managed to gain dominion of these cattle...
  356. [15:09] orosboru: (Waiting for your guys reactions.)
  357. [15:09] Bunchacrunch: Dangling the Khornite symbol on her neck, Anna moves down with the maul slung over her shoulder, attempting to push people out of the way. "Step aside, Sperm bank!" she yells
  358. [15:09] Copley: "Well I don't see much of a reason to deal with all of them, I can toss some frags down to stir up a little chaos though, might let one or two of those spawn loose from their handlers"
  359. [15:11] orosboru: Anna recklessly pushes her way through the cultists, who give her a wide berth as she approaches the throne of the prophet.
  360. [15:11] Adhemar Le Roux: "If you like I could always try and convince these fools that the failings of the prophet point to his loss of favor. Why, I even have a loudhailer right here"
  361. [15:11] orosboru: Do the two of you join her?
  362. [15:11] orosboru: Or will you let her follow her own path?
  363. [15:12] Copley: (She's on her own down there, I'm a traditional cultist after all, I'll stay up top and overwatch with my Autogun)
  364. [15:13] orosboru: The pustulant prophet wheezes and sneers at the tiny Khornate. "And who are you to approach my dais? Bow before me and my might!"
  365. [15:13] orosboru: "Only I know the path to salvation!"
  366. [15:14] Adhemar Le Roux: (I'm gonna try at least distract the mob with a little rabble-rousing)
  367. [15:14] orosboru: Okay. Cool.
  368. [15:15] Adhemar Le Roux draws out his loudhailer "You know nothing, false one. Your lack of favor with the gods is the very reason you fail to make worthy spawn! Brothers and Sisters of Chaos, gaze upon his works and despair for you serve a false prophet!"
  369. [15:16] orosboru: (Cool! That qualifies you for a +10 bonus.)
  370. [15:16] Adhemar Le Roux: (command or deceive or what? I have the inspire Wrath Talent as well
  371. [15:17] Bunchacrunch: ((Crap, whats Adhemar's character name again?))
  372. [15:17] orosboru: (Command works. You're not actually decieving them. It rings true.)
  373. [15:17] orosboru: (Inspire wrath also works.)
  374. [15:17] Adhemar Le Roux: (Alvah)
  375. [15:18] orosboru: (If you're using that, make a charm test.)
  376. [15:19] Adhemar Le Roux: Okay
  377. [15:19] Adhemar Le Roux: do I add fellowship to charm or no?
  378. [15:19] Copley: (Charm is a fellowship test)
  379. [15:20] Copley: (You add your charm skill bonus, if you have one, to your fellowship score and factor in any other modifiers before you roll)
  380. [15:20] Adhemar Le Roux: !r 1d100 target number 46 + 10(charm skill) +10 (situational bonus)
  381. [15:20] Robutt: Adhemar Le Roux: 1d100 = 26

  383. [15:20] orosboru: Lemme see how he countercharms

  385. [15:20] Robutt: orosboru: 1d100 = 2
  386. [15:21] Adhemar Le Roux: (checkmate)
  387. [15:21] Adhemar Le Roux: (and now I get torn to pieces)
  388. [15:23] orosboru: "Who are these strangers to our chorus, that seek to dissent us, make us falter in faith?" He points a stern finger to Adhemar, and then to Buncha. "The gods award the strong and deny the weak. Am I to be accounted for the weakness of men, against the glory of the warp?" The crowd chants along with him, eager and angry, and suddenly the air is far more violent...
  389. [15:24] orosboru: Then, a tapping.
  390. [15:24] orosboru: A slamming.
  391. [15:24] orosboru: The bulkhead, a-crunching.
  392. [15:24] orosboru: Everyone holds their breath as the spawn are cajoled to the door...
  393. [15:25] System: Fran-070 is offline.
  394. [15:25] orosboru: "In the Emperor's Name!"
  395. [15:25] orosboru: A single marine kicks his way through the door.
  396. [15:25] orosboru: Chaos ensues.
  397. [15:25] Copley: (>Marine)
  398. [15:25] Copley: (Time to NOPE.jpg the fuck all the way out of here)
  399. [15:26] Adhemar Le Roux: (laugh and run is all we can do)
  400. [15:27] Adhemar Le Roux: (to quote DOW "Even a warped mind can see the odds stacked against it!")
  401. [15:27] Copley takes sight of the Space Marine and does the thing any self-serving disciple of the dark gods would do, he runs the fuck away at full speed!
  402. [15:27] Bunchacrunch: Spinning the neckchain around, Anna checks the room for avalible exits. "At least the grunts are busy. Honorable opponent too... shame..."
  403. [15:27] orosboru: The spawn surround the marine, as the crowd pours in under the direction of their twisted prophet.
  404. [15:27] orosboru: No one notices their great leader slipping away as well...
  405. [15:28] Bunchacrunch: ((Can I attempt an awareness role for him?))
  406. [15:28] orosboru: (Yup.)
  407. [15:29] orosboru: The marine, light green and bearing the sigil of the Salamanders Chapter, cuts through the ranks of Spawn with his chainsword, expertly dispatching the spawn as if they were nothing, cleaving through the ranks of rabble in a whirlwind of blood as he shouts loudly, "Vulkan Triumphant!"
  408. [15:30] Adhemar Le Roux runs after his companions, grateful to Slaanesh for having interceded in such a manner. The dog of the false emperor could rot on this vessel for all he cared, as long as they made it off

  412. [15:31] orosboru: The twisted messiah slowly makes his way to the tiny scout vessel, hidden well beneath carpets of flesh and bone, his long dress discarded in favour of speed...
  413. [15:31] orosboru: He presses a button, and you hear a door open...
  414. [15:32] System: Alanna of Trebond is offline.
  415. [15:32] Bunchacrunch: ((That was for awareness if it wasnt clear)) "OI! Get the fuck back here you little shit!" she yells, chasing after him
  416. [15:33] Adhemar Le Roux tries to keep behind the Khornate warrior, hoping to slip through the crowd by staying in her wake.
  417. [15:34] orosboru: As you escape the carnage typhoon the warrior of the false emperor is wreaking, you all confront the cult leader at the cusp of his escape...
  418. [15:36] Copley has his autogun aimed directly at the false prophet, a fully loaded magazine just waiting to turn them into a spray of gore across the plasteel walls.
  419. [15:38] System: Mugenn the Wise is online.
  420. [15:38] Bunchacrunch: ((So I gotta ask, what would it take to punch him with my free hand?)) "This entire situation is YOUR fault, dear leader! You should have offered someone stronger! Who the fuck wants a kid?" ((Oh hey))
  421. [15:38] Adhemar Le Roux is desperate to escape and draws out his laspistol in a show of faith rather than any definite sense that he might kill him.
  422. [15:40] orosboru: "Strong... weak... does it matter?" He laughs. "The mob wants blood. They want spectacle. They want a scapegoat for their own failures. They want reassurance that the choice they made, the choice that only matters, was the right one."
  423. [15:40] System: Mugenn the Wise is offline.
  424. [15:41] orosboru: "We are damned, but we do not hide behind pretense and mummery. Anyone foolish enough to take my words as truth deserved to die in this place anyhow."
  425. [15:41] orosboru: The charlatan laughs.
  426. [15:42] orosboru: "I will begin a new cult, somewhere else, and I will continue to reap the gifts of Chaos, until this whole ride comes to a end."
  427. [15:42] orosboru: "But you are not in that vision."
  428. [15:42] orosboru: "Brother?"
  429. [15:42] Bunchacrunch: "Oh, there will be blood alright..." she begins, readying up her thick boot
  430. [15:42] orosboru: *Ugh*
  431. [15:42] orosboru: The meaty fist pounds the ground, shaking the area around you.
  432. [15:43] orosboru: And you realizes, bereft of his voluminous robes... the prophet is two, not one.
  433. [15:44] orosboru: A emaciated dwarf, limbs vestigal and head a shrunken thing, rests next to a large, monstrous, blob, with one leering eye and teeth sticking out of its chin.
  434. [15:44] Adhemar Le Roux groans, realizing his chances of being one of the 4 mentioned in the prophecy just got worse.
  435. [15:45] orosboru: (initiative!)

  450. [15:47] orosboru: (That's for me to know.)
  451. [15:48] Mugenn the Wise: ((Oros, can I stab the Charlatan?))
  452. [15:48] Bunchacrunch: (("Oh, there will be blood alright..." she begins, readying up her thick boot))
  453. [15:48] Bunchacrunch: ((Kinda beat you to that))
  454. [15:49] Mugenn the Wise: ((I wanna stab him!))

  462. [15:50] orosboru: Mugenn, Buncha + Adhemar. Copely is sitting this one out, I guess.
  463. [15:50] orosboru: And then last, the prophet.
  464. [15:51] Mugenn the Wise: ((Well, let's see. I need to refinish Mask so that he's properly Tzeentchi since that's where I'm taking him, but for now he's still pretty stabby.))
  465. [15:52] orosboru: lemme give you a log
