Anon's Greed (Chapter 1)

>Waking up, checking for injuries
>Thank god, only some scratches and bruises
>Let's see, you are in the middle of nowhere, lying flat in lush meadows and facing the sky
>You try to rearrange your memories
>You were drinking heavily at a birthday party of a friend of yours
>Looking at your watch you notice, that it is already 4 am
>You decide to go home now, even though you have to walk two hours through a forest to get to the next bus stop
>Your friend would have driven you if he wasn't also drunk as fuck
"Take care of *hic* yerself, Anon!"
>No problemo! You know how to fight and you are drunker than a Russian lumberjack whose wife is on vacation leaving him alone with nothing more than bottles of vodka
>What could possibly go wrong?!
>As you are walking through the forest your vision gets blurred
>Feels like you're gonna pass out
>You wander around for what feels like hours and you recognize that you're lost
*Sigh* that went perfeee-*huuurrrl*
>You throw up and try to lean against a tree... then you pass out

>So, that actually went much better then expected
>You don't feel raped, beaten up or robbed, hell yeah, you even achieved not to lose your things that you had with you
>You have your bag with your belongings around your waist, your clock and your wallet
>Unfortunately you forgot you mobile phone at your friend's house
>*Facepalm* If you could call someone or connect to GPS you would be out of this forest lickety-split
>What an awkward phrase, you don't remember saying this before ... kind of strange
>You still don't know where you are but it will only be a matter of time till you hit the road again
>Starting to walk you notice the strange looking trees ... somehow they're in a perfect shape as if someone drew them
>Nah, it's probably the hangover witch teases you right now and clouds your senses
>Soon you arrive at a clearing and decide to take a break right here
>While you're sitting on a dead tree and thinking about your current location, a shadow rushes behind the bushes
>You look up but everything seems alright ... except for the feeling that somebody or something is watching you
>Continuing your way through the forest you hear a swish now and then but every time you turn around there was nothing in sight
>You can spot a hut in the distance. Finally someone who could certainly guide you through the forest
>As you come closer you recognize a zebra with a strange mark on her flank scraping the ground with its hooves
>You think that the owner of the hut must quite have a predilection for exotic animals
>The zebra looks up at you as you come closer to the hut
>It seemed frighten and you question yourself if you were scaring it
"Don't make any rush moves and stay, or you will end up as a pray!"
>Did the zebra just talk to you in a female voice? You chuckle nervously and turn around, leaving this crazy place when you all of a sudden lay eyes on a lion, sitting behind you and staring at you with hungry eyes
>Wait this is no ordinary lion ... you discover that this "lion" has wings and a scorpion tail
>A real-life manticore was sitting behind you, craving for his meal
> You read something about this species in a book but you thought that it was only a legendary creature, not existing in the real world
>You open your mouth in a loud scream and try to run away from the hungry beast
>Unfortunately for you it was way more faster than you and as the manticore approaches, you can see how its paw was about to hit you
>The strike hits your head and you faint again

>You wake up in a warm and cuddly bed, your eyes still closed
>Maybe everything was just a dream. Sometimes you really could have a crazy imagination
>You hear two women talking near by and you slowly open your eyes
>As your sight becomes clear you can see a yellow horse and a zebra talking
>You start to smile. Yep, you have been drinking too much and now you went full nuts. Better learn how to withhold yourself next time
>The two creatures realized that you're awake. They come closer to you, examining your head
>Actually this doesn't seem like a dream ... your head hurts like shit and your surrounding also seemed real
>The kindly looking yellow p0ny checks your head and your body
"Well, it doesn't seem to be hurt that bad. Maybe our cutie is just a little bit frighten"
>She leans over to you and pets your cheek
Um, I'm fine my head just hurts a little.
>The p0ny gasps and the zebra gives you a thoughtful look
>"I-It can talk?!"
Actually if you don't mind I'm male. And yes, I can talk, the better question would be how you're able to talk.
>"He seems to be foreign to this world of ours ..." The zebra is now talking. "... but what brought him here, what strange powers?"
>"M-maybe you could tell us h-how you got here, Mr. ...Umm.."
Anonymous. Anon for short.
>Well, Mr. Anon ... um ..."
Just call me Anon, Anon is fine with me.
>You wonder why the yellow p0ny started to stutter. She could talk fluently just 5 minutes ago
>"Umm... this is Zecora a-and I am ...*mumble*..."
What was your name? I didn't quite catch it.
>"I am flutter......"
>After a while you could understand that her name is Fluttershy
>The two of them ask you different things like what species you are, where you came from, if there is more of your species and more
>You explain as good as possible that you never seen a world like theirs and that the only p0nys and zebras you saw weren't able to talk
>On the other hand you discover that you're in a land named Equestria, where pegasi, unicorns and earth-ponies live together peacefully
>Mentioning the pegasi you recognize the wings on Fluttershy's sides
>You try to remember as much as possibly accepting that you're stuck in a crazed out world with talking equines which eventually can fly or perform magic
>Magic ... one part of you was fascinated by the thought of real magic. It was always the dream of manhood to discover magic
>Sadly it never came that far, so people start to invent and advance technology to make up for the lack of magic
>You were eager to get to Ponyville but you promised Fluttershy to rest one day more at Zecora's hut
>The next day she picks you up and takes you to her cottage
>You thank Zecora for her caring and assure her to come by sometimes
>On your way to Ponyville you start a conversation with Fluttershy and she tells you everything she knew about Equestria and about her five best friends
>Depending on her stories about her friendship with them you couldn't wait to meet them
>They had to be wonderful peo... umm mares
>With renewed strength and an optimistic mood you arrive at the cottage
>Soon you will be heading to Ponyville, where you adventure started...
