  1. Going to start it off with a rather unique, but effective style of hyper offense that i made right after the inception of the genesect ban. This team relied heavily on its surprise factor in order to function as well as it would have. Since one would assume that rhyp was the rocker, aegi a mixed atker, nape playing some kind of offensive role, and lando a special atker, i used that to my advantage to try and break down my opponents team, mostly in part by the use of lures. This team popularized life orb sd aegislash and leadnape as well, which were a bit underrated at the time if I do say so myself. The team is pretty self-explanatory as it is: lead with nape and get up rocks, while neutralizing the opposing lead and proceed to nuke things with either aegi or manaphy. Scarflando was a surprise revenge killer that baited latis and thundurus which were otherwise problematic for this team, with explosion as a last ditch effort to get off big damage. Megazam is a secondary revengekiller that has utility encore so that it can play around suckerpunchs, cmfable and the like. Rprhyp was a lategame sweeper that usually was able secure the win by tanking a weaker super effective hit and just running through the competition.

  3. Seeing as how tesung popularized rain during spl, i wanted to create my own spin on it. Fron what I've seen at the time, rain offense was usually just sacking mons one after another and doing as much damage as possible before dying. I felt that momentum was important in order to safely bring in these threats while at the same time preserving that offensive pressure. So i decided to role with megaman and torn-t since they were both fast, hard to switch into, and can abuse the rain for themselves. Specskingdra fit best as my swift swim abuser of choice due to its great offensive typing, acceptable bulk and powerful stabs. I needed a rocker and a switchin to azu, aegi, gren, and latis so what better choice was there but ferrothorn. As for my last option, i needed another way to break stall other then torn, as well as a way to check bisharp and conk more effectively. After browsing through my options, I came across nptoge. It offered my team good defensive synergy and it made a good partner with torn, as they sported spammable flying stabs.

  5. lol I was probably really bored when I made this team seeing it has a dragalge o_O. Though in all seriousness, there were very threatening mons running around ou such as thundurus, keldeo and zardy so I figured defensive dragalge might be viable. I decided to base this team around toxic stalling and I wanted to try out the subtoxic aegi set that was just introduced so whynot. I needed a cleric/wishpasser that wasn't passive and sylveon seemed appealing. Skarmory of course was obligatory for stall at the time seeing as it put a stop to half the meta and provided hazard control. The last two slots were designated to stallbreakers in tran and mandi since who wanted to get into 500 turn stall battles(which were pretty uncommon at the time ._.). A few notable threats were cmlando and eqzardx but other than that, this team was pretty successful during its time.

  7. I've always been intrigued with the concept of dual screen offense. At the cost of at least two turns of setting up, this allows a mon to not only set up safely, but be less likely to be revenged through priority. Deo-s is by far the most viable setter seeing as it has insane speed coupled with taunt and sr. Now I needed to find strong abusers. Drumazu was the first to come to mind because of its defensive typing and strong priority. Diggersby was also a hyped up mon that i wanted to try out and I figured that it would pair nicely with azu considering that one of them weakens the opposition to the point that if it can't sweep, the other can. My mega of choice ended up being sdzardx since it can immedietly threaten stall teams while providing twind support for teamates or sweeping itself. Exca and thundy are there to check opposing threats while providing spin support for zard and np for additional firepower.
