10 - paraphrase - C (The process happens after the area is already contaminated.)
11 - inference - D (The standard practice is excavation and reburial, which is much faster than the “several years” it takes for phytoremediation.)
12 - purpose - B (Alpine pennycress is the one that can remove zinc.)
13 - sentence insertion - A (Usually general statements go before specific statements. The new sentence introduces the idea that some metals are accumulated more often than others, and the next sentence says 75% of hyperaccumulators accumulate nickel, which is a specific detail.)
