  2. [2012-05-13 03:44:07] <AMARDA> The universe is a strange place, and old arcane technologies even stranger still. So when an old Megaspell long forgotten ruins of the greater Manephis region suddenly activates it is of no small coincidence that it is a terribly inconvenient event.
  3. [2012-05-13 03:45:37] <AMARDA> So with a bright flash and a smell reminiscent of burnt hair, four unlucky ponies find them selves dragged from where ever they were previously into the Manephis Sanitation Facility.
  4. [2012-05-13 03:47:42] <AMARDA> The surroundings are gray and poorly lit, the stench is horrid and repulsive but tolerable.
  5. [2012-05-13 03:48:46] * Midnight_Rain coughs a little "Where the Hell am i?!"
  6. [2012-05-13 03:50:44] * Dusk_Beam the pegasus is laying on her back in a corner, eyes closed. Seemingly uncouncious.
  7. [2012-05-13 03:50:51] <Grand_Finale> A lump of navy blue fur wrapped in singed leather and disheveled saddel bags shifts in the corner, coughing under his breath before speeking in a far off sort of voice, "...Way to big of a boom"
  8. [2012-05-13 03:53:26] <Haywire> The goldenrod pony looks around confused. He raises his safety glasses for a moment and looks around. "I wasn't exactly expecting this."
  9. [2012-05-13 03:54:27] * Midnight_Rain a black coated Enclave pegasus mare with a black mane with blue streaks pulls her Pistol out and scans the area
  10. [2012-05-13 03:54:35] <AMARDA> The Ceiling is about fifty to sixty meters high with some small holes filtering a tiny amount of light through them. The room it's self is about twenty from side to side. A massive cylinder with no way of scaling the walls. In the center however is a pipe that leads who knows where.
  11. [2012-05-13 03:56:31] <Grand_Finale> the navy blue pony rolls over and begins to inspect himself, counting all his limbs while still coughing
  12. [2012-05-13 03:56:44] <AMARDA> Midnight_Rain spots a blanket of mold growing near the top of the area, possibly another pipe that has been blocked off.
  13. [2012-05-13 03:56:55] * Dusk_Beam awakens with a cough. "Ugh, I'm never drinking again" She says as she sits up. The lightgoldenrod mare looks around the room. Not quite realising what has happened yet.
  14. [2012-05-13 03:57:51] * Haywire lowers his glasses and notices all the strange ponies around them. He promptly ignores them and decides to inspect the pipe in the middle of the room
  15. [2012-05-13 03:58:12] * Midnight_Rain slips her pistol away "Ugh i do not need this."
  16. [2012-05-13 03:59:04] <AMARDA> Upon closer inspection you see the pipe leads down on relatively gentle angle. It looks worn and smooth however, so it may be difficult to traverse.
  17. [2012-05-13 03:59:22] <Grand_Finale> Seemingly satisfied that he is not missing anything crusial the blue pony rolls back over and lifts himself up, seemingly noticing the others for the first time and tensing up.

  20. [2012-05-13 04:03:36] * Dusk_Beam tenses up as she realises she is not alone in the room. She quickly makes sure all her belongings are still with her, stands up and eyes the other ponies in the room.

  23. [2012-05-13 04:05:47] <Grand_Finale> 's eyes dart from pony to pony, scrutinizing them, his surroundings, and his weapon.
  24. [2012-05-13 04:08:36] <AMARDA> Haywire slips and begins a most undignified slide down the pipe, continuing about ten meters before hitting his head on a safety rail. Jerking to a halt, he finds his momentum arrested by the rail and his rather sore neck.
  25. [2012-05-13 04:09:46] <Haywire> "At least the result is-ow!- roughly the same."
  26. [2012-05-13 04:10:01] * Dusk_Beam quickly trots to the pipe. "Hey, are, are you alright?"

  28. [2012-05-13 04:11:04] <Grand_Finale> circles around to the other side of the pipe as far away from the other ponies as he can. "I didnt hear him splatter, either hes fine or its pretty deep"
  29. [2012-05-13 04:11:20] * Midnight_Rain checks her gear to make sure it's loaded "Ugh stupid Pony"
  30. [2012-05-13 04:11:32] =-= Dervish is now known as Shade
  31. [2012-05-13 04:11:53] * Haywire yells at the pipe. "No lasting damage, I hope."
  32. [2012-05-13 04:12:08] * Haywire inspects the new location.

  34. [2012-05-13 04:14:26] <Grand_Finale> approches pipe and glances downward
  35. [2012-05-13 04:15:18] * Midnight_Rain goes and moves slowly down the pipe
  36. [2012-05-13 04:15:42] <AMARDA> Haywire is now in near complete darkness, unable to see much at all. The smell only gets worse from below, but it is still not beyond tolerance.

  38. [2012-05-13 04:17:30] * Dusk_Beam looks at the ponies going down the pipe. "We don't even know where that thing leads, shouln't we atleast, you know. Find out what happened first before we do something, unreasonable...?"
  39. [2012-05-13 04:18:55] <Grand_Finale> nods as he looks back up, "shes right, we dont even know where we are. Last thing I remember was one hell of a bang. for all we know we may not even want to get out of here right now"
  40. [2012-05-13 04:19:15] * Haywire takes a can of Fuel out of his saddlebags and tries to shape it into a makeshift lamp.
  41. [2012-05-13 04:22:59] * Dusk_Beam stretches her wings. "A loud noice, a smell of burnt hair and a bright light, before that I was enjoying a bottle of wine in some old ruins." She says while checking her clip on her Markspony Rifle.
  42. [2012-05-13 04:23:56] <AMARDA> There is a shower of sparks that do nothing but blind you, leaving a yet unlit torch behind.
  43. [2012-05-13 04:25:01] * Midnight_Rain looks around in the dark room they have entered "Looking for a few ponies."
  44. [2012-05-13 04:26:13] <AMARDA> Once more some sparks and nothing to show for it.

"I was in the middle of trying to sell some scrap wire to merchant when I saw the same thing. At first I thought it was my own stash but when I came to I was here with you lot"

  58. [2012-05-13 04:35:34] * Dusk_Beam trots around the room. Looking about. "Well, if we can't force the walls I guess the only way out is.. Down." She says, looking down the pipe again.
  59. [2012-05-13 04:38:31] <AMARDA> The tunnel stretches down, past the light of the torch. You can't hear anything from down below.
  60. [2012-05-13 04:40:16] * Dusk_Beam nods to herself. And procceeds to carefully walk down the pipe.
  61. [2012-05-13 04:41:20] * Midnight_Rain lends a hoof to the oncoming pegasus mare "So why are you down here?"
  62. [2012-05-13 04:43:52] * Haywire looks back at the other ponies, frowning slightly.
  63. [2012-05-13 04:43:55] * Dusk_Beam takes the hoof. Grinnings sheepisly at the other pegasus. "Operation gone wrong, not allowed to go back." She says, shrugging the question off.
  64. [2012-05-13 04:45:38] * Midnight_Rain helps the mare down "I didn't think we started kicking our own out."
  65. [2012-05-13 04:45:58] * Haywire trots ahead, taking the lamp with him.
  66. [2012-05-13 04:47:57] * Dusk_Beam "I.. I don't know why, they said something about an infection" she says, ending in a whisper. "Well", she says. Changing the subject. "The light is trotting off, perhaps we should follow."
  67. [2012-05-13 04:48:23] <AMARDA> Down and down you go, eventually the angle gets less and less time you emerge into a larger space than the tunnel. Down here the stench is over powering, but strangely enough not exploding due to the open flame.
  68. [2012-05-13 04:48:54] <AMARDA> In the flickering light you see what looks like a maintenance shaft with a button next to it.
  69. [2012-05-13 04:49:16] <Grand_Finale> follows behind
  70. [2012-05-13 04:50:26] * Haywire carefully examines the button.
  71. [2012-05-13 04:51:28] <Grand_Finale> grunts, "In my experiance buttons hidden away in strange places rarely do anything good..."
  72. [2012-05-13 04:51:34] <AMARDA> It looks like it's connected to a wire, the button has an up symbol on it.
  73. [2012-05-13 04:52:51] * Midnight_Rain pushes the button
  74. [2012-05-13 04:53:13] * Dusk_Beam "I hope we are just not g oing to push.."
  75. [2012-05-13 04:53:34] <Grand_Finale> rolls his eyes "to late"
  76. [2012-05-13 04:53:49] * Dusk_Beam ears dropping, "the button." She finishes.
  77. [2012-05-13 04:54:26] <AMARDA> There is the sound of old gears turning and grating, then slowly an elevator descends towards you.
  78. [2012-05-13 04:55:05] * Midnight_Rain slips out her pistol again "I don't think i caught you're name Miss?"
  79. [2012-05-13 04:56:23] * Dusk_Beam relaxes after having been prepared for something far worse from the button. "Huh, oh. It is Dusk Beam, or just DB if you prefer." She says while looking up at the elevator.
  80. [2012-05-13 04:59:12] * Midnight_Rain checks her gun one last time to make sure it's set for combat "Nice to meet ya Dusk Beam names Midnight Rain."
  81. [2012-05-13 04:59:49] * Haywire goes to the elevator and looks up. "Keep the noise down, you two. This place may be empty for a reason."
  82. [2012-05-13 05:00:51] <Grand_Finale> "I agree, best to stow any uncecissary chit chat for later. We can all have a pow-wow and introduce ourselves when and if we make it out"
  83. [2012-05-13 05:01:16] <AMARDA> The elevator finally reachs the group, the noise it makes a constant screech. It looks sturdy, but old.
  84. [2012-05-13 05:04:48] * Dusk_Beam examines the elevator. "You think it will hold for everypony?"

  92. [2012-05-13 05:12:00] * Midnight_Rain puts her pistol in her mouth and takes off upward scanning for anything hostile
  93. [2012-05-13 05:13:56] * Dusk_Beam follows Midnight_Rain's lead. Keeping an eye on the surroundings.

  147. [2012-05-13 05:50:27] * Dusk_Beam ears perks up. Looking at the door. "What was that?"
  148. [2012-05-13 05:50:38] * Grand_Finale pokes his head out from elivator, raises an brow in clear surprise at shades appearace
  149. [2012-05-13 05:51:16] <Shade> "You heard it too? I'm not crazy?" She laughs and hugs Dusk_Beam "I'm not crazy! Now excuse me while I freak out. More than I am, anyways."
  150. [2012-05-13 05:51:57] <AMARDA> There is no more warning than Dusk_Beam's innocent comment before a massive set of shimmering claws come slashing through the metal wall behind the group. Only sound of tearing metal can be heard.

  152. [2012-05-13 05:52:49] * Shade does an acrobatic pirouette off the handle "HOLYSHIT"
  153. [2012-05-13 05:52:57] * Midnight_Rain gets ready and looks at Shade "I guess you're not my enemy then miss?"
  154. [2012-05-13 05:57:38] <AMARDA> After the claw you can see virtually nothing, some dust obscures your vision.

  157. [2012-05-13 06:02:37] * Dusk_Beam turns towards the claws and redies her Markspony Rifle. "What in all of Equestria is that?!"
  158. [2012-05-13 06:03:40] <Haywire> "Not sure yet, but it has some impressive claws."
  159. [2012-05-13 06:06:01] <AMARDA> The claws come from the cloud of dust leaving a clear image of where it should be. Impacting against Midnight_Rain she is sent flying by the strike. In no way is she cut but her armour is shredded by the impact.

  161. [2012-05-13 06:12:20] * Shade pulls her SMG out of it's holster and carefully takes aim at...whatever that thing is.
  162. [2012-05-13 06:14:31] <AMARDA> Shade's bullet sparks of a tip of the claw, doing nothing visible to the thing attacking you.

  164. [2012-05-13 06:15:39] <AMARDA> Grand_Finale, your turn and there are two unused turns as well
  165. [2012-05-13 06:16:14] * Grand_Finale glances from the mysterious claw to the door
  166. [2012-05-13 06:21:48] * Grand_Finale suddenly recognizing what was rampaging before his eyes Grand spits out his knife and books it for the door as fast as he his hooves can carry him shouting his head off.
  167. [2012-05-13 06:22:24] * Grand_Finale "ITS A ZEBRA WEAPON, RUN, ITS OUR ONLY HOPE! GET THE DOOR OPEN!"
  168. [2012-05-13 06:23:21] <Shade> "Doors open! How do you think I got in here?!"
  169. [2012-05-13 06:24:05] * Grand_Finale opens the door wide for the others, "Then lets move!"
  170. [2012-05-13 06:24:13] * Dusk_Beam aims a shot at the enemy before her. Firing! Misses!
  171. [2012-05-13 06:24:40] <AMARDA> There is no ping for there is no contact with the target.
  172. [2012-05-13 06:26:05] * Dusk_Beam ears drop as she misses her shot. "Time to get out of here!"
  173. [2012-05-13 06:27:08] <Shade> "I agree!"
  174. [2012-05-13 06:28:24] <Haywire> "A weapon? Why is it after us?"
  175. [2012-05-13 06:29:29] <Shade> "I would guess to kill us."
  176. [2012-05-13 06:30:59] * Midnight_Rain fires 5 shots at the thing trying to kill her
  177. [2012-05-13 06:34:14] <AMARDA> The shots are wild, but two do strike true and tear into the thing. Suddenly it shimmers back into view. A pony, or at least a former pony with massive grafted claws added to its back, cybernetics clearly attached to its brain and glowing red eyes. It looks insane and very, very dangerous.
  178. [2012-05-13 06:38:11] * Haywire looks at the thing and opens a wide grin. "Fascinating!" He draws his Magic Pistol

  180. [2012-05-13 06:44:45] <AMARDA> The thing staggers back, molten metal streaming from Haywire's two accurate shot. Somehow though the thing still stands even as flesh boils and bubbles from the heat.
  181. [2012-05-13 06:44:48] * Haywire aims two shots at the creature. Two carefull bites.
  182. [2012-05-13 06:45:54] * Midnight_Rain fires another 5 shots into the beast
  183. [2012-05-13 06:48:37] <AMARDA> Midnights Gun bucks violently after the third shot then does nothing. It has jammed up. The creature however dies when the only shot to hit passes through it wounded flank. There is a sizzling sound and then silence once more.
  184. [2012-05-13 06:49:31] * Haywire turns to Midnight_Rain. "Good work!" He promptly runs to the creature and starts examinating it.

  348. 10:32 AMARDA You find your self alone inside locked shed, it is filled with cleaning supplies. In your sudden transit your form has reverted back to it's original state.

  351. 10:35 Shade checks the door and finds it locked, cursing her luck. How did she even end up in here?
  352. AMARDA You find lots and lots of cleaning supplies, a few buckets and one incredibly deadly looking blade stashed in a rotted wooden cupboard. It looks vaguely Zebraish.

  354. 10:38 Shade grabs the blade after admiring it for a few moments and stashes it in her bags before examining the opening
