Monika: "So, you really want me to fix everything...?"

As Monika says that, she looks almost saddened. Still, you've got to stick to your answer. You can't just let Sayori and the others stay dead.

You: "That's right."

Monika sighs deeply and seemingly pauses to think for a moment. Then, she grins softly, her expression changes to one full of hope.

Monika: "Alright! But, only on a few conditions."

Just what is she trying to pull? Still, you should at least hear it out first.

You: "And what exactly are these conditions?"

Monika: "First condition: I'm going to bring everything back to the start of the weekend. Of course, everyone will be brought back and will be their normal selves again!"

You: "That's fine."

Monika: "Second: You're going to spend the ENTIRE weekend with me, and nobody else."

You hesitate to accept that one, but end up doing so anyway.

Monika: "Third, and final condition: We're going to eat out at restaurants together, whenever I want during the weekend. Don't worry, though, I'm more than willing to pay for both of our meals! So, do we have a deal...? Oh right! One more thing! Don't tell anyone else about our little deal."

You think on the conditions and give your response.

You: "Fine. I accept."

Monika: "I'm glad! Now everyone can be happy~"

*RIIIIIIIIIING*

The final bell rings, indicating that it's time to go home. Then, a familiar voice is heard. One you thought you'd never get to hear again.

Sayori: "Aw man... Already?"

Yuri: "Time flies when you're having fun. You must've especially enjoyed today then, huh?"

Sayori: "Yeah, I guess so!"

You're so overjoyed at getting to see everybody alive and back to normal that you can't help staring. Then, Monika comes up to you.

Monika: "Ready to go, [y/n]?"

Even though it had only been mere seconds since you made that deal with her, you somehow almost forgot about it.

You: "O-oh, yeah! Sorry!"

Sayori came up to you.

Sayori: "Oh, you and Monika are hanging out today? That's a surprise!"

You had to quickly come up with an excuse! You weren't allowed to tell them anything.

You: "Y-yeah. I just figured I haven't got to spend time with her yet, so..."

Sayori: "Alright, then! Have fun!"

You: "Y-yeah, thanks!"

With then, you and Monika exit the school.

You: "So, where do you want to go?"

Monika: "I figured we could go eat. It is close to dinner time after all~"

You: "Oh, sure. I guess that makes sense."

She brings you to a fast food place within walking distance. It doesn't take long, either. The two of you are seated at a table near the back.

Waiter: "What could I get you?"

You order plain water. To your surprise, though, Monika actually gets a large soda. After the waiter leaves to get your drinks, you ask her about that.

You: "I thought you didn't like to drink soda?"

Monika: "I said that I try not to drink it too often because of how sugary it is. I still enjoy it."

You: "Oh."

Monika: "..."

The silence hangs between the two of you.

Monika: "...is everything alright...?"

You: "Yeah, sorry. Just not all too focused right now."

Monika: "It's alright."

You: "So, uh... do you like video games?"

Monika smiles, finding your awkward segway cute.

Monika: "I don't really play video games. Actually, I don't think I have any video game consoles, to begin with..."

You: "Oh? Why is that?"

Monika: "Well, I never found any games I liked. When I was a kid, I would always make puzzles or play chess. I guess I was just content with what I knew I liked."

You: "Oh, I like making puzzles, and playing chess too."

The waiter comes back.

Waiter: "Here is your water, sir."

You: "Thanks."

Waiter: "And here is your soda, miss."

Monika: "Thank you."

Waiter: "What would you two like to eat, tonight?"

You quickly look at the menu and choose two cheeseburgers due to their size, and fries. Monika asks for three veggie burgers.

The waiter takes your menus and leaves. After he does so, Monika takes a few sips of her soda.

Monika: *uorrp!*

A cute, quiet burp escaped her.

Monika: "Oh! Pardon me~"

You blush a bit.

You: "I-it's alright!"

Monika thought to herself, "If this is the kind of reaction I got from just one little belch, I can't wait to see his reaction later~ In fact..."

The result immediately hit her. Right now, at this moment, she had to really try to hold it in. She had given herself 80% of the max amount of gas she was able to hold. Meaning, it wouldn't be too long before something slipped out. Actually, speaking of that...

Monika: *uOUUuoUuppP!*

A two-second burp escaped her lips. She was a bit stunned, she could feel something rising up, but wouldn't have expected something that loud. Neither of you responded for a moment, both taken back in surprise. Until Monika broke the silence.

Monika: "Hahaha! I'm sorry! That caught me off guard, as well!"

You: "D-don't worry about it!"

"What's going on?", You thought, "She doesn't seem like the type to do such a thing in public so proudly!"








//monika doesn't mind the embarrassment/humiliation, so long as she can win him over. she is fine with ruining her reputation
