              General Guidelines

* Be polite to other members.<br>
* Always read group description when joining groups and follow guidelines provided by a group owner.<br>
* DONT’ spam group chats and don’t let others do that. If 3 or more members of the group spam a message the sender will be temporarily blocked in that group chat until a group owner or one of its admins reviews it.<br>
* Be patient when you ask a question in a group chat. Sometimes you might have to wait for hours before getting response (if at all) considering that users here come from different parts of the world.<br>

              How To Join Groups?

               The Groups screen in the app shows all groups that you have joined and/or created. It also includes a group called “ALERTS” group to keep you on top of important notifications. To start joining groups, click on the top right icon on the Groups screen.<br><br>
Usually groups are public and open to all. But there are also private groups which appear with a lock sign in front. Private groups require group owner’s approval to join. You may also encounter anonymous groups (appear with a mask icon) where you may remain fully anonymous while participating in discussions.

              How To Manage Groups?

Long tap on any group in the Groups screen to see group options: pin group to the top, mute/unmute group, hide group, leave/delete group. Hidden Groups, located at the bottom of the Groups screen.

             How To Save/Bookmark Messages?

Long tap on a message and look for Save option. All messages that you have saved in chats will appear under “Saved Messages” on Settings page.

              How To Search Chat History?

              <div class="chapter-content"> You may quickly search through an entire group chat history using the search button on the top right corner of the group chat screen. This is especially useful in established groups. So, if you have a question first try searching chat history to see if it was asked before!

What Does Group Owner Do?

A group owner is someone who started the group and has full control over it. Each group can have only one group owner. Only group owner may delete group and change group privacy settings, group name, description and icon. Moreover, only the group owner may delete a group and add/remove admins to the group.

What Does Group Admin Do?

 A group admin is a member of the group invited by an owner to help with moderation. There may be several admins in a single group. Group admin may instantly block any group member from the chat as well as accept/reject group join requests in private groups.

How To Edit Your Name/Avatar?

To edit your name or avatar go to Settings then Account section.

How To Share Group Links?

To share a link to some group in the current chat, click on attach icon to the left of text input field and select “share group” option. It will trigger menu from where you can choose a group that you want to share in the chat.

  <li> How To Share Member Profile Links?

To share a link to your or someone else profile, go to that person’s profile page and look for profile link option in the top right menu icon.

  <li>How To Send Private Messages?

The Directs screen lists your private chats with other members. To add someone to your Direct screen, click on member’s avatar in group chat and then look for “Start Chat” button on member’s profile screen. <br><br> Note: We take privacy of our users seriously. Therefore, do not to spam people with irrelevant, obscene or commercial messages. Every member that you contact has an option to block you or report for spam. Users reported for privately spamming other members will be reviewed and might be banned from the app indefinitely.

How To Block a Member from Contacting You?

You may long tap on a contact name (on Directs screen) to trigger additional menu with option remove user from Directs or block member from contacting you ever again. Once you have blocked someone, you will no longer see messages from that person. To unblock that user, you need to find that person in the app (via some group) and click on “Start Chat” button.

How To Spam a Member in Group Chat?

Long tap on any message to trigger message actions menu and click on the Spam option. If other users spammed the message you will see that reflected in the spam count as well. When message receives 3 or more spams, the sender is blocked from the group.  Blocked users will remain locked out from the chat until group owner/admin reviews the message and decides how to handle that. <br><br> When a member blocked in 3 groups within 10 calendar days, s/he is automatically blocked from app for 10 days. When user gets system blocked for the second time, he is blocked from the app indefinitely.

What Info Visible on Your Public Profile?

Your profile page is public and it lists public groups where you’re a member. It also shows how many times people liked your messages, saved them, and whether you were ever banned from groups for spamming. Private or anonymous groups where you’re a member aren’t shown for privacy reasons.

How To Report Forbidden Group Topics?

If you encounter a group with a focus on one of the following topics you may report it. When such groups are discovered, they might be deleted without a notice. Owners of such groups may be cautioned or banned from the app indefinitely, depending on the case.

* Adult content of sexual nature and pornography<br>
* Dating groups<br>
* Violence towards humans or animals in all forms<br>
* Hate speech aimed at race, religion, sexual orientation or a gender<br>
* Unlawful use of copyrighted content<br>
* Illegal hacking/cracking (unless are for educational purposes)<br>
* Illegal or overly dishonest behaviour<br>
* Intended to disgust<br>
* Facilitate the purchase of firearms or illegal drugs<br>

What Are The Achievement Badges on Profile?

These badges are awarded to quality members for adding substantial value to the community. Each badge has three levels: bronze, silver and gold.<br><br>

* Star: awarded for creating successful groups<br>
* Friend: awarded for referring new members to the app<br>
* Brain: awarded for receiving likes<br>
* Mayor: awarded for creating successful local groups<br>
* Power User: Awarded for being a member in secret Power Users group<br>
