  24. Claudius Silvanus: Ah
  25. Well that's... gonna take a while
  26. Did you see Claude's New Groove?
  27.
  28. GM (GM): I saw the riot electro moose.
  29.
  30. DJ-Max: Oh yeah, before I forget guys. This will probably be my last session, some stuff has come up and I can't really show up anymore.
  31.
  32. GM (GM): Aw man!
  33.
  34. Claudius Silvanus: Aw damn
  35. That's saddening
  36.
  37. DJ-Max: Yeah, I know.
  38.
  39. GM (GM): Is it a schedule thing?
  40. I shouldn't pry.
  41.
  42. DJ-Max: Yeah. Scheduling
  43.
  44. Cas Hutson: Aww man! It was great having you around though!
  45.
  46. DJ-Max: If things clear up I should be able to come back, but it won't be for a while. Still, its been fun as hell.
  47.
  48. Clayton R.: That sucks. I wish you the best.
  49.
  50. C. Jeffrey: At least we'll have you back eventually
  51.
  52. GM (GM): Always be a seat for ya.
  53.
  54. Claudius Silvanus: Damn. Good luck man. It was really fun so far and if you can make it back it would be swell
  55. Oh right I did finish Sommer. My art output was shit lately cause you know why.
  56.
  57. C. Jeffrey: Yup, I understand
  58.
  59. GM (GM): I know a guy who had a stroke recently.
  60. Drove his family nuts.
  61. Anyway!
  62.
  63. Claudius Silvanus: https://a.pomf.cat/uoachw.png
  64. Don't worry GM. My dad is pretty good at that
  65. At least he's at the farm now where the weatheri s better
  66.
  67. GM (GM): Let us wash away our cares in dice and semi-witty banter
  68. Looks like Jim meets King of the Hill.
  69. Hey Martin!
  70.
  71. C. Jeffrey: Dale?
  72.
  73. Claudius Silvanus: You mean
  74. Rusty Shackleford
  75.
  76. Martin Baron: Hey, adding in the paste now.
  77.
  78. Claudius Silvanus: Sha-sha-shaaaaa
  79. Hey Martin
  80.
  81. GM (GM): Ready to go?
  82.
  83. DJ-Max is prepared.
  84.
  85. Martin Baron: Yes. Might have to leave for a few minutes soon though. Don't know when. Got an ice bucket to clean and fill.
  86.
  87. C. Jeffrey: Ready as I'll ever be
  88.
  89. Claudius Silvanus: I think you can make a token out of that Jeffrey for Johnatan
  90.
  91. Cas Hutson: I'm ready!
  92.
  93. we begin!
  94.
  95. We join our crew in the bowels of deep city freshly restocked and reloaded, ready to set off again into adventure!
  96.
  97. Claudius Silvanus: ( Test 1.2.3)
  98. (Okay good)
  99.
  100. Clayton R.: (( I want to fix my riot helmet before we set out. Forgot about it last time. ))
  101.
  102. GM (GM): okay. for expediency lets say you did!
  103.
  104. Claudius Silvanus: (( Ask Claude nicely ))
  105.
  106. Martin Baron: ( I got myself prepared 2 weeks ago. I'll wait for y'all. )
  107.
  108. Claudius Silvanus: (( Same. ))
  109.
  110. GM (GM): Primary doc:
  111. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zUbKbVjWUBcTRWdDZqaTN1bXc
  112.
  113. Martin Baron: ( Mind listing the changes? )
  114.
  115. GM (GM): Rules for knock out have been pointed out:
  116.
  117. Clayton R. stretches, preparing to embark once more after his near fight with everett... again. He points to the moose. "You... I need my Riot Helmet repaired, you busted it up slamming into me."
  118.
  119. GM (GM): Do half the hp in one hit and the roll fortitude.
  120. Fail, you are out for 1d10 rounds.
  121. Pull a restrained punch but still put them past 0 hp and they will be in a coma.
  122.
  123. Claudius Silvanus: (( Awesome ))
  124.
  125. Cas Hutson: (( Nice ))
  126.
  127. GM (GM): reading between the lines, knocking someone in the head is the easiest way to knock someone out.
  128. Or kill them, depending.
  129.
  130. Jonathan Sommer: ((Can I knock 'em out with a slap on the wrist?))
  131.
  132. Claudius Silvanus grumbles "You... I have a name you know, leather jerkface." he grabs the helmet angrily and starts getting to work on it
  133.
  134. GM (GM): Sure, depending on the slap
  135.
  136. DJ-Max shakes his head a good amount some things never change.
  137.
  138. GM (GM): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ybv94PHccIQ
  139.
  140. Jonathan Sommer is still doing tricks for money. Magic tricks.
  141.
  142. Clayton R. groans, pacing as the moose mutant works. "I'll remember it when you remember mine."
  143.
  144. GM (GM): So, actions?
  145.
  146. Jonathan Sommer: ((Is it the end of the week?))
  147.
  148. Clayton R.: (( Just fixing the helmet and heading out. really.))
  149.
  150. GM (GM): Yes. It is saturday.
  151.
  152. Clayton R.: (( might be worth noting that we will be dealing with a lot of radiation, and we don't have protective suits other than a partially damaged one.))
  153.
  154. GM (GM): Your overall objective: Find the missile bases.
  155.
  156. Jonathan Sommer grabs his tip hat and seeks out Martin.
  157.
  158. Claudius Silvanus: (( Yeah... and there's a lack of them laying around as it is. We might try to see if we can grab something along the way.))
  159.
  160. Martin Baron is waiting near the exit of Down-Underville, somewhat prepared for the job ahead. He spots Jonathan and waves him down.
  161.
  162. Clayton R.: (( I wish I was as optimistic as you. ))
  163.
  164. GM (GM): Without much else available you set off!
  165. Woop.
  166.
  167. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh wait, I thought we were getting drinks for fun))
  168.
  169. Claudius Silvanus gives the fixed helmet back "There. Happy now?"
  170.
  171. Jonathan Sommer: ((Eh, we can drink on the ride there))
  172.
  173. GM (GM): ((Roll 20 loading slow for anyone else?))
  174.
  175. Martin Baron: ( Oh yeah. Could just say we got 2-3 bottles of something. )
  176.
  177. Clayton R. takes his place in the front seat, and speaks with Hershel. "Hey. You still have the coordinates of those factories mapped out?"
  178.
  179. Martin Baron: ( Working fine here.)
  180.
  181. Cas Hutson: ((Nah. It's fine on my end.))
  182.
  183. GM (GM): ((Well it's slow for me))
  184.
  185. Clayton R.: (( Not me, we are in the wastes right? ))
  186. try refreshing
  187.
  188. Jonathan Sommer waves over to Claude. "How's the knife thing coming along?"
  189.
  190. Claudius Silvanus: (( Didn't I make the knife last session? ))
  191.
  192. Jonathan Sommer: ((You did, but I didn't get it yet))
  193.
  194. Claudius Silvanus: (( Ah right ))
  195.
  196. GM (GM): ((I'm sorry, I guess I missed that! Anyway: Combat knife: 2d10+25(35)))
  197.
  198. Claudius Silvanus looks through his stuff and pulls out the knife modified in the best way that he could "Well I had some time at the workshop..."
  199.
  200. Directions?
  201.
  202. Jonathan Sommer: "So... it shoots the knife?"
  203.
  204. Martin Baron: ( To the base location that Hershey has. )
  205.
  206. Claudius Silvanus: (( Ah yeah the wirst launcher ))
  207.
  208. GM (GM): ((Oh that. yeah I thought we had the stats for that.))
  209.
  210. Jonathan Sommer: ((We did))
  211.
  212. GM (GM): ((Nevermind then, I was thinking of something else.))
  213.
  214. Claudius Silvanus hands the second part of the machinery connected with the knife by a strong chain "Here's the wrist-piece. And yeah. I made the launcher use jolts of electrcity but I might need to switch to CO2 at some point."
  215.
  216. Martin Baron checks his shotgun, making sure it's fully loaded, while eyeing the bottle of alcohol that Jonathan passed to him before leaving. Doesn't have a brand name, but the smell implies a hard drink.
  217.
  218. Your journey is unexpectedly long! It takes some 3 days to get to your destination!
  219.
  220. Martin Baron: ( And nothing happened along the way? Guess that's good, no sudden attacks and possible deaths. )
  221.
  222. Jonathan Sommer handles the equipment with a grin. "Shit, Claude. Are you a local genius or something?"
  223.
  224. Cas Hutson: ( Don't jinx it Martin )
  225.
  226. GM (GM): You encounter a traveler on your journey!
  227.
  228. Martin Baron: ( Well then again, we are traveling in a Topsider transport )
  229.
  230. Claudius Silvanus rubs the back of the head "Well... I've repaired Aerocars if that's a good reference."
  231.
  232. GM (GM): You find a slug...person. He is about 7 feet long!
  233.
  234. Jonathan Sommer equips the wrist launcher and looks out towards the slug person.
  235.
  236. Clayton R. is glad his mask can hide his digust
  237.
  238. DJ-Max does the rather obvious thing and takes a step forward to wave to the slug man and say hello. Its only right to be nice to other people.
  239.
  240. DJ-Max: "Sup 'yo?"
  241.
  242. Cas Hutson looks towards the slug, tilting his head as he is caught to his attention.
  243.
  244. Slugman: Heeey
  245.
  246. Clayton R. keeps his blaster wound up on stun
  247.
  248. Cas Hutson: ( Could I inspect the slug? )
  249.
  250. GM (GM): Sure!
  251. Roll perception!
  252.
  253. Cas Hutson: rolling 1d100
  254. (16)= 16
  255.
  256. Clayton R.: rolling 1d100+30
  257. (90)+30= 120
  258.
  259. Cas Hutson: ( Oh wait, was there a bonus with that? Shoot. )
  260.
  261. GM (GM): Just roll your intiative.
  262. Same bonus
  263.
  264. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+25
  265. (98)+25= 123
  266.
  267. GM (GM): Unless you are using your SMELL POWER. then it's +20
  268. You inspect the slug.
  269.
  270. DJ-Max: "How's the wastes treating you?"
  271.
  272. GM (GM): He appears to be wearing a leather jacket and carrying a guitar case.
  273.
  274. Claudius Silvanus peeks out at the slugman... then comes out. "You might to stay back a fair bit from the bandage guy, the saltiness of him might burn on you."
  275.
  276. Martin Baron whispers to Hershel, "Lockdown treads and do not allow anyone access to movement without a code... Um, 5321. Yeah."
  277.
  278. GM (GM): ...That would have been more obvious if everything in contact with him wasn't covered in slime.
  279.
  280. Hershel: repeats, "4321, got it."
  281.
  282. Clayton R. glares at Claud briefly
  283.
  284. Martin Baron: "5321 Hersh, 5321." Martin hisses back.
  285.
  286. GM (GM): The slug continues, "Do you toughs know any venues 'round here?"
  287.
  288. Jonathan Sommer: "We got booze."
  289.
  290. Clayton R. shakes his head.
  291.
  292. Hershel: , "Right, 53215321."
  293.
  294. Martin Baron: (That's how you drown actual slugs )
  295. "Bah screw it, good enough."
  296.
  297. DJ-Max: "Ya' a music man yo? $@3%%$#@ you got any good sets?"
  298.
  299. GM (GM): ((Err, sets? Like drums?))
  300.
  301. DJ-Max: (Ahem. A 'set' is a music list in this case, songs you usually play, etc.)
  302.
  303. Martin Baron: ( He knows Wonderwall )
  304.
  305. Slugman: I play free style, man!
  306.
  307. GM (GM): (Right, okay. Thanks.)
  308.
  309. Jonathan Sommer: ((Freebird))
  310.
  311. Cas Hutson reels back, with disgust over the slime coming from that slug. He looks towards the side for the moment, not wanting to look no more at the slug.
  312.
  313. Slugman: I can play anything by heart, ain't got no paper.
  314.
  315. the slug whips his guitar around and plays afew licks.
  316.
  317. Claudius Silvanus adjusts his armour a bit, still not used to the wetsuit... then again with the amount of power he's carrying he's not gonna take a chance of being electrocuted "Do you know "Sweet Home Alabama" by any chance?"
  318.
  319. Slugman: Who doesn't?
  320.
  321. Clayton R. walks up next to Martin. "I'm going to sit inside the transporter. Try and make this quick please."
  322.
  323. Claudius Silvanus hrumps "Grumpier than usual."
  324.
  325. Martin Baron doesn't care much for musicians, instead diverting his attention to the surrounding area for anything else of interest. He mumbles in agreement to Clayton.
  326.
  327. Martin Baron: ( Mind if I roll a perception on the area? )
  328.
  329. GM (GM): Sure!
  330.
  331. Slugman: Now where is the nearest gig, man?
  332.
  333. Martin Baron: ( I'm sorry, it's been a while, what's the roll again? )
  334.
  335. GM (GM): Roll your intitative.
  336. 1d100+mind bonus
  337.
  338. Martin Baron: ( Wasn't there a level bonus? )
  339.
  340. Jonathan Sommer smiles. "I guess we can be your gig if you're offering."
  341.
  342. Claudius Silvanus points where they came from "I'd try Deep City"
  343.
  344. GM (GM): Not to perception but we are being fast and looser than normal.
  345.
  346. Martin Baron: ( It's fine, thank you for the info. )
  347.
  348. Slugman: DC, check. See you!
  349.
  350. Martin Baron: rolling 1d100+15
  351. (68)+15= 83
  352.
  353. DJ-Max: "Its got some sweet buildin's in it brah, ya'd do well."
  354.
  355. GM (GM): Martin! You notice a duststorm building in the north!
  356.
  357. Clayton R.: (( and then the slug was a secret spy mutt. ))
  358.
  359. Martin Baron: "Hey, guys, we gotta go. Another dust storm right ahead of us." Martin says. He turns to the slug and adds "You should find some shelter to hide from this."
  360.
  361. Decision time: The storm is headed for you! Do you try to out run it or do you hunker down?
  362.
  363. Jonathan Sommer: ((Hunker down))
  364.
  365. Cas Hutson: ( Best to hunker down )
  366.
  367. Slugman: Ain't nothin' but dust, I'll work out!
  368.
  369. Cas Hutson: ( Wait 'till the storm passes by )
  370.
  371. Martin Baron: ( Don't see why Hershel can't buff it out. )
  372.
  373. DJ-Max: (Hunker down.)
  374.
  375. Clayton R. looks to Hershel for guidance. "Hey. How well do you think you'll fare in a dust storm?"
  376.
  377. Claudius Silvanus: (( Outrun it ))
  378.
  379. GM (GM): 3 For hunker!
  380.
  381. Clayton R.: (( I want to get Hershel's imput to see if he can handle it. I'm sure he can, but just to be sure. ))
  382.
  383. GM (GM): Hershel responds, "Better than getting hit with a zero gun that's for sure!"
  384. 3:1
  385.
  386. Jonathan Sommer shouts to the slug, "You sure you don't want a cozy box to stay for a while?"
  387.
  388. Slug: Eh, sure.
  389.
  390. Clayton R. harrumphs, "Not like we had a whole lot of room for maneuvering there. Go ahead and call the others in so we can wait it out."
  391.
  392. Jonathan Sommer does a celebratory fist bump.
  393.
  394. GM (GM): Hunker down?
  395.
  396. Clayton R.: sure
  397.
  398. Cas Hutson: ( Yeah )
  399.
  400. Jonathan Sommer: ((Yup))
  401.
  402. Martin Baron: ( BAH GOD )
  403.
  404. Clayton R. takes his seat in the front and buckles in, just in case
  405.
  406. GM (GM): Woooosh
  407.
  408. Clayton R.: (( Oh no. I giant amoeba ))
  409.
  410. Martin Baron: ( Well good news, the sandstorm blew over and we arrived on top of a cookie. )
  411.
  412. Hours pass
  413.
  414. Claudius Silvanus looks through the window at the dust hammering on everything "I rarely saw these even back home... That's a force to be reckon with."
  415.
  416. Jonathan Sommer shares a few drinks with Martin during the storm.
  417.
  418. GM (GM): The storm has sudsided and you are greeted with an entire city as your first sight!
  419.
  420. Martin Baron takes a sip from Jonathan's alcohol, immediately coughing at the first taste.
  421.
  422. Clayton R. smirks at the sight. "Don't see that everyday..."
  423.
  424. Claudius Silvanus hops out and takes a big look around then readies his shield and lance "Well I'll be."
  425.
  426. Claudius Silvanus: (( Can I roll perception? ))
  427.
  428. GM (GM): Yes.
  429.
  430. Jonathan Sommer chuckles at Martin's reaction and steps out to the city
  431.
  432. Claudius Silvanus: rolling 1d100+35
  433. (70)+35= 105
  434.
  435. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'll roll too))
  436. rolling 1d100+25
  437. (72)+25= 97
  438.
  439. GM (GM): You can see about 7 large buildings in relatively good condition.
  440.
  441. Clayton R.: more like a town really
  442.
  443. GM (GM): It looks like they are all attached to a massive plate composed of a glassy material, either melted concrete or glass.
  444.
  445. Claudius Silvanus checks the charge on his lance and proceeds to head towards them "Come on... we might find something valuable there!"
  446.
  447. GM (GM): You spot something else!
  448.
  449. Jonathan Sommer: ((oh no))
  450.
  451. Martin Baron: ( We landed in a Counterstrike map. )
  452.
  453. Clayton R.: (( Stalkers! ))
  454.
  455. DJ-Max: "Jus' make sure you don' go to far ahead."
  456.
  457. GM (GM): You see a man in a bomb disposal suit! And he has a grenade launcher!
  458.
  459. Jonathan Sommer: ((Does he see us?))
  460.
  461. GM (GM): He fires at you!
  462.
  463. Clayton R. frowns, that doesn't look good
  464.
  465. Clayton R.: (( fugg ))
  466.
  467. Martin Baron: "#$*%ING MOVE IT!"
  468.
  469. GM (GM): The shell lands some distance away with a THOOM.
  470.
  471. Clayton R.: we init now?
  472.
  473. GM (GM): You hear the man shout, "Next on is in your head Mr. Potato!
  474.
  475. DJ-Max: "Gshdfhsdfs"
  476.
  477. Jonathan Sommer: ((Yup))
  478.
  479. Cas Hutson steps out of the transporter, pulling out his 9mm as he heard a loud thoom noise.
  480.
  481. GM (GM): "Give up the hostages and you get to walk!"
  482.
  483. Claudius Silvanus looks at the EDF-man "Ey, we have no hostages here, Bulldozer."
  484.
  485. Cas Hutson: "The &^%* was that!?"
  486.
  487. Clayton R. frowns again. "Hostages?!"
  488.
  489. Martin Baron: ( Can I roll persuasion to convince him that we don't have hostages? )
  490.
  491. Clayton R. has a sinking feeling that bomberman is talking about him.
  492.
  493. GM (GM): Sure.
  494.
  495. Martin Baron: ( Oh wait, dammit you still have the Topsider suit on don't you Clayton? )
  496.
  497. GM (GM): Also your 1d100+mind
  498.
  499. Martin Baron: ( Thanks. )
  500.
  501. Clayton R.: (( The helmet, that's it. ))
  502.
  503. Martin Baron: "Stop shooting! We're friendly, we're not hostages!"
  504.
  505. GM (GM): ((So the most distinct part of a topsider suit!))
  506.
  507. Martin Baron: rolling 1d100+15
  508. (86)+15= 101
  509.
  510. GM (GM): rolling 1d100+20
  511. (10)+20= 30
  512.
  513. Clayton R.: about as good at persuasion as I am
  514.
  515. GM (GM): He has accepted your idea of you=not bad guys.
  516.
  517. Like a certain tire mascot, the armored man lugs his way over to you.
  518.
  519. Clayton R. steps forward. "What the hell were you doing?.. And what kind of hostage rescue involves grenades first?"
  520.
  521. Cas Hutson: ( You meant the mascot of Good Year? )
  522.
  523. GM (GM): ((Michelen man, I was thinking.
  524.
  525. Martin Baron: "For $#%*s sake Clayton! That helmet has been nothing but trouble for us all!"
  526.
  527. GM (GM): http://img.timeinc.net/time/photoessays/2011/top10_creepiest_mascots/michelin_man.jpg
  528.
  529. Claudius Silvanus walks up the the EDF man "Excuse leather jerkface here, he has a fetish for dressing up in suits."
  530.
  531. Cas Hutson: ( Ohh, yeah that mascot! )
  532.
  533. GM (GM): Sorry for the mistake, we've had trouble with Potato for weeks.
  534.
  535. Clayton R. points at Martin. "It's been helpful too... don't discount that."
  536.
  537. Claudius Silvanus: Potato?
  538.
  539. GM (GM): His choice for names actually.
  540. Keeps ranting about lacking skinned and being 'cooked alive'
  541.
  542. Martin Baron: "Wear a bandanna or something, or roll up your bloody sleeves next time."
  543.
  544. Claudius Silvanus rubs his head wondering what the man is ranting about "So... what kind of an establishment is this?"
  545.
  546. Martin Baron: "Wait wait, skinned and cooked alive?"
  547.
  548. GM (GM): ...The lack of the psychotic babbling should have been my first clue this guy wasn't him. Speaking of, who are you guys?
  549. Like a potato, his words.
  550.
  551. Clayton R.: "Contract workers."
  552.
  553. Claudius Silvanus grins throwing his lance up 'KNIGHTS OF THE WASTELAND! Actually... people on a mission. "
  554.
  555. Clayton R. rolls his eyes
  556.
  557. Bomber: You get by fine with us then. We were mercs back in the day.
  558.
  559. Martin Baron: "What's your name, merc?"
  560.
  561. Bomber: Bomber, and these days I only work for myself.
  562.
  563. GM (GM): Anyway, welcome to Slide City.
  564.
  565. Martin Baron: "There anybody else here we gotta worry about blasting our masked man here into a thin paste?"
  566.
  567. Cas Hutson slowly lowers his 9mm, keeping his eye on Bomber in case he does anything.
  568.
  569. Claudius Silvanus crooks his head "So uhhh... why are you wearing that stupid bomb suit?"
  570.
  571. Clayton R. shrugs" Well... Bomber. you know any place nearby where we can grab some radiation suits?"
  572.
  573. Bomber: Uh, yeah, probably alot.
  574.
  575. Clayton R.: "You wouldn't understand Claud"
  576.
  577. Bomber: We got some but Q. Master is probably gonna want a trade or something.
  578.
  579. C. Jeffrey continues drinking and approaches Bomber.
  580.
  581. Jonathan Sommer: ((Whoops))
  582.
  583. Clayton R. nods. "That's fine. Can you lead the way?"
  584.
  585. GM (GM): ((Whiskey or water?))
  586.
  587. Jonathan Sommer: ((Whiskey))
  588.
  589. Claudius Silvanus hmms "Maybe I can help you with something. I'm good with hands"
  590.
  591. Jonathan Sommer: "Any bars around here?"
  592.
  593. GM (GM): Nah, we don't do well drunk.
  594.
  595. Proceed to headquarters?
  596.
  597. Clayton R.: yep
  598.
  599. Jonathan Sommer shakes his head and turns to Martin. "Want another one?"
  600.
  601. Claudius Silvanus: (( Sure ))
  602.
  603. Clayton R.: well..
  604.
  605. Jonathan Sommer: ((Sure))
  606.
  607. Clayton R.: (( Can I lock up Hershel? or can he come with us? ))
  608.
  609. Martin Baron: "I'm fine with just the one, thank you."
  610.
  611. Jonathan Sommer: "Suit yourself, pal."
  612.
  613. Cas Hutson: ( Sure )
  614.
  615. GM (GM): Hershel can go anywhere but indoors.
  616.
  617. Claudius Silvanus: (( BTW Cas... what kind of baseball uniform were you aiming for? ))
  618.
  619. Clayton R.: alright. I'll have him follow us and tell him to be aware of stranger danger
  620.
  621. GM (GM): As you travel, Sommer, you spot a beer sitting on a newstand!
  622.
  623. Jonathan Sommer: "Hmm."
  624.
  625. Jonathan Sommer looks around for any potential witnesses.
  626.
  627. GM (GM): no one that you haven't already scene.
  628.
  629. Jonathan Sommer practices his sleight of hand.
  630.
  631. GM (GM): Even as you attempt you discover something odd!
  632. The bottle is fastened to the newstand as if it's glued down!
  633.
  634. Martin Baron takes another sip of whiskey, the taste still making him want to spit it out.
  635.
  636. Jonathan Sommer: "What the hell."
  637.
  638. Bomber: Ah, that.
  639.
  640. Martin Baron: ( Use your manly strength to rip the bottle from its spot. )
  641.
  642. Bomber: This whole island is stuck together. Like its one solid piece.
  643.
  644. DJ-Max: "...Tha's weird yo."
  645.
  646. Jonathan Sommer: "You've been super-gluing everything?"
  647.
  648. Bomber: we think it has something to do with a bomb or electrostatic principals.
  649.
  650. DJ-Max: "So...Is' all magnets an' such? A'ight, tha' makes sense."
  651.
  652. Claudius Silvanus rubs his head "Doesn't make a lick of sense to me... I know a lot about electricity but this needs a better head"
  653.
  654. Martin Baron: ( This is a reference to something, isn't it? )
  655.
  656. Jonathan Sommer attempts to pry the bottle from the stand.
  657.
  658. GM (GM): You try and try.
  659.
  660. Clayton R. remains silent while following after Bomber
  661.
  662. GM (GM): Eventually the bottle breaks!
  663. The bottom is still stuck to the stand.
  664. You do find something interesting, the liquid inside is friggin' solid!
  665.
  666. Jonathan Sommer: "... Great."
  667.
  668. Jonathan Sommer gives a small test lick of the solid thing.
  669.
  670. Claudius Silvanus: ...That's an anoma...
  671. (( That's adorable ))
  672.
  673. DJ-Max: "...is...is it..."
  674.
  675. DJ-Max pokes the water inside the bottle. Is it frozen or...?
  676.
  677. GM (GM): You discover that it's beer!
  678.
  679. Jonathan Sommer: ((Is it good beer?))
  680.
  681. GM (GM): ((It's average at best!))
  682.
  683. Jonathan Sommer shrugs and continues licking at the solid beer.
  684.
  685. GM (GM): You enter a building, following Bomber's lead.
  686.
  687. Claudius Silvanus: ...John, you're between adorable and creepy
  688.
  689. Jonathan Sommer: ((Was that IC or OOT?))
  690. ((*OOC))
  691.
  692. GM (GM): The headquarters has a distinct 'man cave' aesthetic.
  693.
  694. DJ-Max: "Nah tha' jus' ain' right man." he says watching Johnathon lick the solid bear.
  695. beer*
  696.
  697. Jonathan Sommer: ((Bear Beer))
  698.
  699. Claudius Silvanus: (( IC ))
  700.
  701. Cas Hutson became confused at the sight of Jonathan licking the solid beer. Instead of making a comment over this, he eyes over who were inside the building.
  702.
  703. Claudius Silvanus looks around "Looks like my old garage."
  704.
  705. Jonathan Sommer smirks and sticks his tongue at Claude.
  706.
  707. GM (GM): You are of course, greated by several men pointing guns at you.
  708. Bomber gives the okay sign and the holster it.
  709.
  710. Sarge: So what's with you lot?
  711.
  712. Cas Hutson: ( I'll be inspecting these other guys in green, if you don't mind. )
  713.
  714. GM (GM): Sure!
  715.
  716. Clayton R. speaks up. "We need raiation suits."
  717.
  718. Claudius Silvanus shrugs "Freelance police. What else?"
  719.
  720. Jonathan Sommer: "I'm a magician for hire."
  721.
  722. Cas Hutson: rolling 1d100+20
  723. (100)+20= 120
  724.
  725. Claudius Silvanus: (WEW LAD)
  726.
  727. DJ-Max: "We jus' travel roun' helpin' people."
  728.
  729. Martin Baron: ( Noice )
  730.
  731. Clayton R.: ech *radiation
  732.
  733. Cas Hutson: ( DANG )
  734.
  735. GM (GM): That's a thing!
  736.
  737. Clayton R.: (( 10/ 10 ))
  738.
  739. Claudius Silvanus looks at Johnatan "A furious magician"
  740.
  741. Jonathan Sommer: "I prefer 'lively,' thank you."
  742.
  743. Martin Baron: "Bunch of people trying to get by."
  744.
  745. GM (GM): You discover that despite them all being about the same size they appear to be different species, although it's impossible to visually under all the combat armor.
  746.
  747. Claudius Silvanus looks at Clay "But as Clayton noted... we do need radiation suits where we're going..."
  748.
  749. GM (GM): You notice that the food condition is sparse, having only the basics and water.
  750. You notice notebooks lying on the table detailing operations and some sort of map, which has a some circular path drawn over it in red.
  751. Besides that you notice that they're gear and guns are remarkibly well maintained.
  752.
  753. Martin Baron decides to take a peek at the map, trying to make sense of what's on it.
  754.
  755. GM (GM): Sarge is alittle annoyed you're going through those things!
  756.
  757. Sarge: What do you think you are doing?
  758.
  759. Martin Baron: "Sorry, sorry, just wondering what that map's all about."
  760.
  761. Sarge: Ah, that. Well, you probably noticed this city appears pretty suddenly.
  762. we get logistics when that happens and telemtry.
  763.
  764. GM (GM): Basically this city moves around when it's hit by a storm and that happens, alot.
  765.
  766. Claudius Silvanus rubs his head "Moving city? I don't think it's for my head..."
  767.
  768. Sarge: we are charting it's movements.
  769. We think it just slides along with enough windforce comes along.
  770. I don't know, I'm not a scientist.
  771.
  772. Martin Baron: "Next you'll be telling me the city will fly if the wind's are strong enough."
  773.
  774. Claudius Silvanus: Well... I did repair cars that flown with propellers mr. Hare. So you know...
  775.
  776. Sarge: We'll let you know if that happens.
  777. So, you were saying something about suits?
  778.
  779. Jonathan Sommer: "They want radiation suits, I want a dress suit."
  780.
  781. Claudius Silvanus: Yeah... Amesworth radiation suits. I can trade my services for a couple
  782.
  783. Jonathan Sommer: "With a handkerchief."
  784.
  785. Sarge gives Sommer a stiff, humorless look.
  786.
  787. Jonathan Sommer grins back.
  788.
  789. Martin Baron: "We got... Yeah, we got a place to go to that's soaked in radiation. It's urgent for one of the colonies."
  790.
  791. Sarge: I don't know if it's A-Rad grade but we do have some APEX issue grade 4 hazard suits.
  792.
  793. Q: -Master Yeah, those should allow you to play around in regular radiation all day.
  794.
  795. Clayton R. shrugs" That is unless you want to help repair my zero-suit."
  796.
  797. Martin Baron: "That'd be excellent, thank you... What exactly do you want for them?"
  798.
  799. Jonathan Sommer: ((Q?))
  800.
  801. Clayton R. shrugs again. "Yeah, what's the bill?"
  802.
  803. Claudius Silvanus looks at Clay "That's near impossible."
  804.
  805. QMaster: 'Fraid topsider gear is above our station.
  806.
  807. GM (GM): (Quater Master)
  808.
  809. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh))
  810.
  811. Sarge does a quick head count.
  812.
  813. Sarge: 7 suits...
  814. That is a lot.
  815. Alright, we can't give you the suits, let's make a deal.
  816.
  817. Clayton R.: "I don't think we need suits for all of us... 4 at the most I think."
  818.
  819. Sarge: Oh good. We don't actually have 7 suits anyway!
  820.
  821. Jonathan Sommer: "Deal, huh?"
  822.
  823. Sarge: I'd say 20,000.
  824.
  825. GM (GM): 5k a suit.
  826.
  827. Claudius Silvanus 's jaw drops
  828.
  829. Claudius Silvanus: THAT'S A PRICE OF A USED CAR!
  830.
  831. Sarge: That is correct.
  832.
  833. Claudius Silvanus headshakes "We have 5k at best..."
  834.
  835. Sarge: Unless you have something to trade. We can't really just give you the suits.
  836.
  837. DJ-Max: "Hmm."
  838.
  839. Martin Baron: ( Can I roll negotiate? )
  840.
  841. GM (GM): Sure!
  842.
  843. Claudius Silvanus looks at the Sargeant "My skills? I can build stuff."
  844.
  845. Martin Baron: rolling 1d100+15
  846. (81)+15= 96
  847.
  848. Clayton R. crosses his arms, he waits to act
  849.
  850. GM (GM): Let's review the rules abit here.
  851.
  852. Martin Baron: "Please sir, we're on a mission... well, not from god, but it's for the... greater good? Look, can't you lower it a tad?"
  853.
  854. Cas Hutson: (( Oh wait! I got cans of beans to trade. Said they have scarce food, right? ))
  855.
  856. GM (GM): ((That is true.))
  857.
  858. Martin Baron: ( Should've stated the price reduction first, sorry. )
  859.
  860. Jonathan Sommer: ((I've got beer))
  861.
  862. GM (GM): rolling 1d100+60
  863. (22)+60= 82
  864. Cannot buy a bucket.
  865. So let's go over negioating.
  866. Mind vs Mind. Martin, you take a -10 for every 10% you want it to drop. Sound good?
  867.
  868. Martin Baron: ( Alright. Seems like I'm just 14 points above him. )
  869.
  870. GM (GM): I'm not just saying that because I blundered on a GODDANG SIMPLE ROLL THAT WAS 80% SURE!
  871.
  872. Martin Baron: ( Martin is a charismatic fellow once the dice is right )
  873.
  874. GM (GM): So you want to bring it down to 18,000?
  875.
  876. Martin Baron: ( Sure. )
  877.
  878. GM (GM): The sarge agrees on a 18,000 price
  879. Cas, you had an idea?
  880.
  881. Claudius Silvanus looks at Martin "That's still a used car... after you bargained it down... Come on... can't we be of help?"
  882.
  883. Cas Hutson: (( Yep! I could see if they would want the cans of beans involved in the deal. ))
  884.
  885. Clayton R.: (( I still don't think we need 7 suits ))
  886.
  887. GM (GM): (Shoot cas!)
  888. ((Sarge counted the slug as part of your party.
  889.
  890. Cas Hutson: (( 1d100 - (price reduction) right? ))
  891.
  892. GM (GM): 1d100+mind-price reduction if that helps
  893.
  894. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh right, Slugman))
  895.
  896. Clayton R.: (( I think we only need 4 suits at most ))
  897.
  898. Cas Hutson: (( Alright, thanks. ))
  899. (( Going for a 20% price reduction ))
  900. rolling 1d100
  901. (7)= 7
  902.
  903. GM (GM): right.
  904.
  905. Cas Hutson: (( Oh ))
  906.
  907. GM (GM): 1d7
  908. rolling 1d7
  909. (5)= 5
  910. Look at that you win!
  911. Anyway, they agree to take off a suit if you can supply them with a week of supplies. (7 food and water.)
  912. At this point bomber speaks up.
  913.
  914. Bomber: They could help with the problem, sir.
  915.
  916. Sarge: Not this Potato Man flop again...
  917.
  918. Jonathan Sommer: ((The Gang fights Potato Man))
  919.
  920. Claudius Silvanus looks up "Sounds like a complicated problem
  921.
  922. DJ-Max: "Potato man... he was talking about something like that earlier"
  923.
  924. Sarge: Bomber says he's been seeing a topsider in the city but so far his reports are unsubstantiated.
  925.
  926. Cas Hutson peers over to the others of the group, counting the cans of beans and bottles of water he has with him. "Hey, do any of you got any cans or bottles? I only got five of each over here," Cas whispered.
  927.
  928. Martin Baron: "He could be sneaking about, avoiding attacking unless he's alone. I'd avoid running out in the open if I was fighting someone with a grenade tosser."
  929.
  930. Claudius Silvanus thinks for a second "Those NDDC guys have radiation suits... right?"
  931.
  932. Bomber: Come one Sarge! He's taken out Hershey and Musketeer!
  933.
  934. Martin Baron: "Wait, I'm sorry, Hershey?"
  935.
  936. Sarge: Hershey was a civilian, served with us as a medic until he decided to leave.
  937.
  938. Jonathan Sommer passes a can to Cas.
  939.
  940. Bomber: He didn't leave! It was 'Tato!
  941.
  942. Martin Baron: "Um... Say Bomber, mind coming with me outside? I want to check something."
  943.
  944. GM (GM): ((You got 6 now. That's 90% of a suit!))
  945.
  946. Bomber: I'm not crazy!
  947.
  948. Martin Baron: ( Is hershel nearby? )
  949.
  950. Jonathan Sommer: ((That's reassuring))
  951.
  952. GM (GM): Yes
  953.
  954. Clayton R.: (( dun dunn dun ))
  955.
  956. GM (GM): He's been trying to chat up the mustang but she's been giving him the cold shoulder
  957.
  958. Martin Baron walks to Hershel, motioning Bomber to follow. "Hershel, do you recognize this person?"
  959.
  960. Clayton R. is intrigued by all this talk of a man named Hershey. He couldn't be related to Hershel... right.
  961.
  962. Cas Hutson quietly thanks Jonathan, making a quick count on the cans. "Just need another can and two bottles."
  963.
  964. Hershel: Didn't that guy shoot grenades at us like twenty minutes ago?
  965.
  966. Clayton R. nods, "Sure did, good thing we're all buddies now."
  967.
  968. Martin Baron: "Bomber, mind describing what Hershey was like to Hershel here?"
  969.
  970. Jonathan Sommer nods to Cas. "I think I got more in the box car."
  971.
  972. Clayton R. throws his hands up as a show of sarcasm and general confusion.
  973.
  974. Claudius Silvanus is unsure what to do at this moment...
  975.
  976. Bomber: Okay, Hershey was about ye high, um, an octopus, hailed from Pencilvania, hillside.
  977. Allergic to chocolate.
  978.
  979. DJ-Max: "Allergic ta' chocolate? Poor man"
  980.
  981. Bomber: Swore on greasy food. Loved the stuff.
  982. he's been missing for about a week.
  983.
  984. Claudius Silvanus moves towards the cap "Do you need any work on your equipment done while you're at it?"
  985.
  986. Martin Baron: "Oh, a week? Sorry to bother you then."
  987.
  988. Cas Hutson gives a small smirk. "Good good. Get me another can and two bottles from there. We could trade these for a suit if we got enough."
  989.
  990. Sarge: Well, if you could restore the care outside that would be swell. We'd throw in a suit for that.
  991.
  992. Martin Baron nods, "Yeah, I think we can manage that... Anything else you want us to help out with that we can get suits for?"

1022. GM (GM): Claudius, you have discovered that the car has been fastened! It's going to take exceptional power to get anything on this thing moving again!
  1023.
1024. Claudius Silvanus is willing to take the risks involved...
  1025.
1026. GM (GM): The crash appears to be coming from the north.
  1027.
1028. Cas Hutson takes the stuff in Jonathan's hand to place with the other cans and bottles. He soon got startled by the crashing noise, placing his hand on the 9mm as he heads outside.

  1053. (( Ahh, the breed's Puli! ))
  1054.
1055. GM (GM): Martin, with your ear muscles you detect a cracking sound, like one of your tasers but much louder! You also hear crying and someone shouting angry things!
1056. At this distance, however, it is hard to make it out.
1057. ((This is a new situation! You guys are actually moving to something and thus if you roll sneak you can be undetected.))
  1058.
1059. Martin Baron silently points to the direction of the sound, readying his shotgun for possible combat.

1175. Martin Baron: ( Can I make a sneak attack before initiative roll? Or should I just go straight into combat? )
  1176.
1177. GM (GM): ...But the glass windows seem unnaturally strong, only cracking in the hail of gunfire.

  1180.
1181. GM (GM): Nah, you stealthed.

1221. ( Should I roll to sneak / run out of combat zone to get assistance? )
1222. ( Maybe persuasion to get the mercs in on this? )
  1223.
1224. GM (GM): Nah, you're still undetected

1254. GM (GM): You can take a turn to aim, sure!
  1255.
1256. Martin Baron: ( It looks like the only way to shoot them is near the blown up entrance, the windows are bulletproof )

  1540. Clayton R.: (( 42 ft is my limit for sprint, ))
1541. ,(( wait, I'm not on the other side? ))
1542. That is the rout I meant... but I guess that is just more area to cover

1570. GM (GM): ((I'm assumeing that since topsider suits protect shortly against zero energy that they'd protect briefly against blasters.

1574. Clayton R.: (( So, he's still okay but his zero field is down? ))
  1575.
1576. GM (GM): Yes, incidently, your damaged suit would allow you to take one hit from a z-gun.

  1628.
1629. GM (GM): Actually, blaster destruction should be 470 damage.

  1631.
1632. Jonathan Sommer 's eyes widen as a flash swallows Clayton's hand for a millisecond.
  1633.

1815. Claudius Silvanus jumps back as if burnt witnessing the transformation before his eyes, landing on his ass. "B... b... but everyone changed. Why did he change..." the moose hyperventilates "Right? RIGHT? WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING."
  1816.
1817. GM (GM): He is about the size of a security rat.
  1818.
1819. Martin Baron: "Claud, were you born and raised in a settlement?"
  1820.
  1821. GM (GM): https://youtu.be/KThlYHfIVa8

1832. (( Clay, are you gonna just execute him? ))
  1833.
  1834. Clayton R.: (( apocalypse only happened like 5 years ago. ))

  1839.
1840. Claudius Silvanus: (( Claude didn't care much for the details. He was too focused on fixing stuff. He's a very ignorant guy. ))
  1841.
1842. Martin Baron: "They all change, Claud. What you just saw was probably the best outcome for him... You know what happens when they aren't knocked out, do you?"
  1843.
  1844. Claudius Silvanus: ...n... no...
  1845.
  1846. Clayton R.: (( I'm gonna retrieve his suit for assurance. ))

  1851.
1852. Jonathan Sommer licks his solid beer, puts away his Blue in his back pocket, and approaches the stunned drone. He picks it up and joins the rest of the group around Potato.
  1853.
1854. Clayton R. leans down fetches the suit out from under the rat. There was no need to let him still have access.
  1855.
1856. Claudius Silvanus takes a long breath. "S... so if I tore it off when he was awake he would...?"
  1857.
1858. GM (GM): He would be a valuable member of the DC workforce
  1859.
1860. Clayton R. stares back at Claud. he should know the answer.
  1861.
1862. Jonathan Sommer pokes his head around Claude. "Boo! Just like that."
  1863.
1864. Martin Baron rubs the back of his head, not bothering to answer Claud. "What should we do with him? Don't think a half foot tall rat is that big of a threat anymore..."
  1865.
1866. Claudius Silvanus gathers himself and slowly his breathing returns to normal. He looks around "I... did a stupid thing, right?"
  1867.
1868. Jonathan Sommer: "Nah. He's not much of a danger anymore."
  1869.
1870. Martin Baron: "No, just..." Martin says, sighing. "... Probably made it harder to deal with him now."
  1871.
1872. Clayton R. shrugs, "It depends on how you look at it... but we do need to do something with him... and you may not like it."
  1873.
1874. Cas Hutson puts away the 9mm, taking a look at Potato. He's not moving right now, so that's good. That was actually matter to him at this moment. He turns his attention towards the civilian and take approach.
