  1. So... a GDQ marathon was thought up, announced, got game submissions in, chose the runs, made a schedule, began the marathon, raised over 200,000 Dollars, had a WR run, and ended, since the last pastebin I made. And that was only a week ago.

  3. If you haven't heard (although i assume every speedrunner has), GDQ had a fantastic emergency marathon this past weekend named harvey Relief Done Quick, or HRDQ. It was made to help out the Houston Food Bank, one of many organizations helping out southeast Texas recover from one of the worst natural disasters the U.S has had in its entire history. It was well done, and I wish i could have been a part of it, however due to the console's I brought with me to school, along with me realizing I accidentally left an important game behind at home (No Mario party 8 for a while guys, sorry) made it so I had nothing to submit to HRDG. However, to anyone who either ran in the event, commentated, donated, or even just watched a little bit of, I thank you, as you helped out in your own little way.

  5. This all being said, last week I announced that I was going to start a schedule for streaming, and so far I admit that I have been failing. In the past week, I have realized a couple of problems with the schedule, and as such it will be changing in several ways. First, I' not going to designate a day as a speedrun day and one as a casual/100 Games Day. The reason for this is simply i don't want to feel like I am being forced to do something I do not want to do, even if it is me forcing myself to do it. The second change is my evening streams will be pushed back by half an hour, and will start at 6:30 instead. This is simply due to me being used to eating dinner at 6, and as such i'm not hungry before streams, and I don't want to stop in the middle of a stream to eat either. Third, while this change will not begin for a few weeks, I won't be streaming Wednesday's anymore. Honestly, this is because Survivor, one of my all time favorite tv shows, is coming back on and I want to watch it as I have every season since Season 14 (for comparison, season 35 is about to begin). These are the changes I'm implementing now, and more might be coming. In quick summary though, here we go - M-F stream 6:30 - 10:30 (Soon no stream on Wednesday though), Saturday and Sunday stream in the afternoon, 12:00 - 6:00. I will do my best to follow this through, but I might run late on some days by accident.

  7. As for games, I wanted to start GTA Vice City last week. However, when I went to boot up the game for the first time, it had errors. Since then, I have yet to be able to fix the issue, so until i can get it fixed, GTA is going to have to wait. That being said, I want to work on COD 3, as it's a simple game that I should be able to finish in two sittings. Undertale will be happening on the 15th to celebrate it's two year anniversary. Finally, this Sunday is the fifteenth anniversary of the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series. As I am sure many of you are aware of by now, the TY series is easily my favorite series to speedrun. Every game has its own unique charm to it that makes me love it with a passion. In the past, I've done trilogy runs on the anniversary, however this year I'm doing something a little different. I am organizing a TY 1 any% race that will be happening on that day, at 1PM EST. Any version, whether console or PC, is allowed (even emulator if needed). It will be a fun race, and afterwards, i will finally do my long-awaited playthrough of TY 3 GBA for my 100 Games challenge. It's the only TY game i have not played yet, and I hope it is not as bad as I think it will be. This being said, I encourage everyone who is even remotely interested to not only watch this any% race, but to take part! I, along with other top runners are more than willing to give you the route, guides, splits, and other forms of help that you need to speedrun the game.

  9. Usually i try to keep these pastebins on the shorter side, but I had a lot to say in this one. I hope everyone enjoyed what I had to say, and I wish good luck to everyone as they get back to school!
