  1. Customers connected to cxswitch01.dllstx03's second stack unit or switches
  2. uplinked to this unit experienced an Internet reachability failure due to a
  3. software crash. The total time of the outage was 40 minutes as the issue was
  4. investigated and the switch stack unit rebooted. By 11:08 AM CDT all services
  5. had returned to normal. If you had a redundant uplink there should have been
  6. little or no interruption of service.

  8. We are working with the switch manufacturer to be sure all software and hardware
  9. are patched and updated to prevent a recurrence of this issue.
