  1. [2014-04-09 13:26:17] <Little_Gloom> 3"Hello everypony, we have returned!" CopyCat's voice comes from under a moving pile of radiation suits. The only actual sign that there is a pony under there is her horn (currently pink) poking out of the top.

  3. [2014-04-09 13:26:31] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara 's disturbing dot-connection is interupted by the princess procession.
  4. [2014-04-09 13:26:38] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream finishes off her statement. "Which means that bones might just be what they draw on. And it got around everywhere." She nodded in a thought. "I mean, it explains things. If ghosts can possess y' against yer will, what's t' say spirits can't pull it off either?"
  5. [2014-04-09 13:26:44] <Little_Gloom> 3CopyCat sits down, becoming an immobile pile of protective suits with a horn. "It was tingly."
  6. [2014-04-09 13:26:53] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream blinks. Oh! "Hey there pile'a suits. Did y' see Copycat around?"
  7. [2014-04-09 13:26:59] <Little_Gloom> 3Noble_Heart steps in to the building shortly after CopyCat. "We have returned as well." She was as well festooned with excessive numbers of radiation suits. "These were not in ideal condition, but We have hope that Shatara will be able to fashion a few useful sets from them."
  8. [2014-04-09 13:27:07] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright scribbles in a notebook. "Tingly good? Tingly bad? Was it warm? Cold? Electric?"
  9. [2014-04-09 13:27:18] <Little_Gloom> 3CopyCat 's pile looks around at itself. "I'm sure she's in here somewhere..."
  10. [2014-04-09 13:27:26] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara begins poking through all the suits, gauging thier condition and what work will be required.
  11. [2014-04-09 13:27:34] <Little_Gloom> 3Noble_Heart slumps and carefully begins to work on getting the suits off safeuly. "It was radiation. Warm. Comfortable. Wonderful. For Us. Deadly for anyone not of Our family. And it is very strong. It is hard to gauge exactly how strong without a PipBuck or other detector. But enough so to be easily felt throughout the entire building, parking lot and beyond

  19. [2014-04-09 13:33:25] * CopyCat shakes herself like a wet dog until she frees her head from her pile of radiation suits. "We brought lots of these but they all look pretty damaged. Shatara and Get_Typo will have to work their magic to make some that are worth wearing."

  21. [2014-04-09 13:35:04] * Get_Typo shrugs "hey, i always wanted to be a tailor. tou know, tailing the teas and fighting pirates in the tartirean ocean...."
  22. [2014-04-09 13:35:39] * Shatara chuckles a little. "I'll see what I can do..." He blinks at Get_Typo. "...wat."
  23. [2014-04-09 13:35:40] * CopyCat tilts her head at Get_Typo. "You don't tay?"
  24. [2014-04-09 13:35:45] * Get_Typo starts working on the suits together with shatara "let's get this show going"
  25. [2014-04-09 13:41:33] * Shatara sits down with Get_Typo and gets out his tools.
  26. [2014-04-09 13:42:02] * Bookwright smiles eagerly and takes notes as Shatara works.
  27. [2014-04-09 13:42:40] * Get_Typo starts working on the suits, humming a song to herself
  28. [2014-04-09 13:44:33] * Get_Typo "you... will... be... popular... you're going to be poo-pu-laaar..."
  29. [2014-04-09 13:47:03] * Shatara swishes his tail along with Get_Typo's song.
  30. [2014-04-09 13:47:25] * CopyCat sashays up to Shatara while the griffin was busy working. "Hey there Shatara. If you've got the time could you take a look at this gun we found back in the guard room at the school?" She places a Heavily Used Combat Shotgun beside Shatara.
  31. [2014-04-09 13:48:54] * Golden_Dream seems kind of nervous when Copycat does that. "Um. Yeah, same here?" She gave Shatara a strained smile, with the same model of Heavily Used Combat Shotgun.
  32. [2014-04-09 13:49:46] * Shatara smiles to the pair. "I'll see what I can do with 'em."
  33. [2014-04-09 13:50:25] * Get_Typo works on the suits in a good mood, keeps singing some merry song from long lost musicals
  34. [2014-04-09 13:50:48] * Shatara 's tail keeps swishing, accidentally brushing the mare's flank. He blushes.
  35. [2014-04-09 13:51:45] * Get_Typo sadly, doesn't even notice. focused scientist is focused
  36. [2014-04-09 13:52:40] * CopyCat blushes for Get_Typo and fans herself with a wing.
  37. [2014-04-09 13:53:30] * Get_Typo checks the rifles and nods "shatara, i'll do the suits and you'll do the rifles, is that okay?"

  39. [2014-04-09 13:58:45] * Golden_Dream 's shoulders slump a little, eyes pleasantly lowering a little with a faint smile finding it's way on her face with a note of relief. "Thanks, Shatara, Get. Ya'll're good folk."
  40. [2014-04-09 13:59:11] * Get_Typo nods "sexy" then goes back working on the suits
  41. [2014-04-09 14:03:10] * Shatara continues to blush as he tinkers on the rifles.
  42. [2014-04-09 14:07:47] * Bookwright decides to make use of the off-time to do a little exploring around the area.
  43. [2014-04-09 14:08:38] * Get_Typo "mh, i could improve these suits.... you know, with some neural interface..."
  44. [2014-04-09 14:11:31] * Shatara slowly turns his head to Get_Typo. "...why would it need a neural interface...?"
  45. [2014-04-09 14:12:15] * Get_Typo thinks about it for a while "well, yeah... that's an interesting question." doesn't reply
  46. [2014-04-09 14:13:02] * Get_Typo "it looks really badass, maybe?"
  47. [2014-04-09 14:14:05] * Shatara glares at Get_Typo evenly.
  48. [2014-04-09 14:15:29] * Get_Typo "hey, if you don't want needles in your brain just say no... i mean... everypony has the right to decide to be lame..." then mumbles to herself "metal is so dead..."
  49. [2014-04-09 14:18:35] * Shatara shakes his head a bit and whaps her with his tailtuft.
  50. [2014-04-09 14:20:59] * CopyCat blink blinks. "Oh, and you can use this, too." She also hoofs over the tranquilizer rifle she had been carrying.
  51. [2014-04-09 14:23:02] * Golden_Dream blinks. "Well, yeah, metal is dead. It doesn't exactly have a life t' begin with. It's inanimate." She ponders what she said for a moment, bringing her hoof to her chin. "Shit, I hope I didn't offend any metal spirits around if they exist. That'd be awkward."
  52. [2014-04-09 14:25:50] * Noble_Heart moves over to sit down next to Golden Dream. Extending a wing around the smaller pony. "Did I miss anything important?" She regards her friend curiously.
  53. [2014-04-09 14:26:11] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright: steps out of the surgical building, tasting the salt and moisture in the air. The wind comes from the southwest, broken by the turret-guarded military wall. The air is cool, but with contrasting eddies of warmth. The tattered canvas of the tents ripple and crack in the breeze.
  54. [2014-04-09 14:27:22] * Golden_Dream smiles, then looks up. "Nope!" She leans in for a moment, whispering something in her ear.
  55. [2014-04-09 14:27:49] * Get_Typo stares at kid for a moment "uh... yeah, that too... still, you know... it would be really cool... with jacks i the head and metal spikes in the neck and stuff..."
  56. [2014-04-09 14:28:22] * Bookwright picks the nearest intact tent and gives it a thorough scavenging.
  57. [2014-04-09 14:28:39] * Get_Typo "then you get a guitar and play the best noise ever made in equestria and stuff.... i think?"
  58. [2014-04-09 14:28:50] * Shatara tilts her head. "...like raiders?"
  59. [2014-04-09 14:29:54] * Noble_Heart blinks and eartwitches slightly at the whisper. "I don't mind, I suppose..." She looked up towards Shatara and CopyCat. "We would like to thank the two of you for helping to protect Our friends from this dangerous place. Your skills were needed this day, and you have not failed!"
  60. [2014-04-09 14:30:37] <Little_Gloom> 3The surgical/intensive care building is the only solid structure in the sprawling MoP site. The rest are tents of various sizes, including three large pavillions. The huge emblem of the pink and yellow butterflies adorns the top of the largest, which is filled with more hospital cots, rotting mattresses, and toppled IV stands -- general care.

  62. [2014-04-09 14:31:56] * Get_Typo "well... no: raiders got the idea but developed it wrong. it's... different"
  63. [2014-04-09 14:32:20] <Little_Gloom> 3The other two pavillions appear to be a mess hall and an administrative tent. The other tents, much smaller, appear to have been the homes of doctors and nurses, as well as a showering tent and an outhouse tent.

  65. [2014-04-09 14:32:36] * Get_Typo "who was talking to me?"
  66. [2014-04-09 14:33:57] <Little_Gloom> 3There are several age-broken medical wagons, and even the time-worn remains of a Griffinchaser III on the roof of the main building. Fencing separates the Ministry of Peace field hospital away from the border military encampment.
  67. [2014-04-09 14:34:30] * Get_Typo "oh, i'm happy to help" waves a hoof and goes back to sewing
  68. [2014-04-09 14:36:27] * CopyCat smiles at Get_Confused. "We could practically be sisters!"
  69. [2014-04-09 14:36:39] * Golden_Dream nods at them. "Well, ya'll keep up th' good work yer' doin'. I saw me a fancy-lookin' wagon on th' roof. Ah think I'mma check it out t' see if there's anything lootable in it." She crept out, giving a wink and a nod at Noble before heading up to the Griffinchaser III on the roof and seeing if anyone maybe forgot to loot the trunk of the thing.
  70. [2014-04-09 14:37:10] * Get_Confused "i'd like a sister. so we can brush each other's mane and do sister stuff...."
  71. [2014-04-09 14:38:10] * Shatara 's mind wanders as he works, blushing.
  72. [2014-04-09 14:39:06] * Get_Confused "and chat about colts. say, copy, is there a colt you really like?"
  73. [2014-04-09 14:40:28] * CopyCat tilts her head. "I don't know. Is there a colt I really like?"
  74. [2014-04-09 14:41:02] * Get_Confused "ah... like as in... would want to kiss him and hug him and do saucy stuff with him"
  75. [2014-04-09 14:41:45] * Shatara tries his best not to imagine himself doing 'saucy stuff' with Get_Confused and CopyCat, fails.
  76. [2014-04-09 14:42:58] * Noble_Heart stood up with a stretch. "We are going to go see if Golden Dream needs any help." She turned to follow the earth pony towards the roof.
  77. [2014-04-09 14:43:57] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright wanders about the spacious, empty field hospital, picking up odds and ends that he comes across. Some (2) still usable scrap electronics from the radio system in the administration tent. A medical box and an ammo box (both locked) in the Griffinchaser III. And a locked metal plate on concrete... looks to be the entrance to underground storage.
  78. [2014-04-09 14:44:02] * CopyCat 's eyes glaze over and she looks towards Shatara. "Yes."
  79. [2014-04-09 14:45:52] * Bookwright throws the scrap electronics in his bag, and returns to the group with his lewt. "I'm back! Found some stuff, there's a locked ammo box and medical box in the griffinchaser out there, and I found what looked like some kind of basement entrance. Also locked."
  80. [2014-04-09 14:46:18] * Get_Confused "speaking of that.... there's something i ever wondered about alicorns... do you experience estrous?"
  81. [2014-04-09 14:47:06] * Get_Confused waves at bookie "if nopony else wants to, i'll go and try to open them as soon as i'm done here"
  82. [2014-04-09 14:47:44] * Golden_Dream turns around to look at Noble after examining the trunk. "Oh! Hey there, Corolla. What's up?"
  83. [2014-04-09 14:47:46] * Bookwright nods. "Sure, sure... Let's put the suits on first though. It's a little warm out there."
  84. [2014-04-09 14:47:58] * CopyCat shakes her head. "Not that I remember. You'd have to ask Noble_Heart."
  85. [2014-04-09 14:48:15] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright also finds three crutches, nine pencils and over three dozen medical clipboards
  86. [2014-04-09 14:48:47] * Bookwright removes the papers from two clipboards and saves them, as well as the pencils.
  87. [2014-04-09 14:50:19] * Get_Confused "hey, noble! did you ever go in heat?"
  88. [2014-04-09 14:50:38] <Little_Gloom> 3(Actually, Noble_Heart and Golden_Dream get to the medical and ammo box on the Griffinchaser III before Bookwright does.)
  89. [2014-04-09 14:50:46] * Shatara hides his deep blushing behind his work,badly.
  90. [2014-04-09 14:51:19] * Noble_Heart looks up at the griffinchaser. "It is impressive." She looks back down towards Golden Dream. "Nothing at the moment. At least nothing you don't already know about."
  91. [2014-04-09 14:52:14] * Shatara tries to distract himself by thinking of the choppah. how he'd like to get his talons on those...curvaeceous...nacelles...NO! BAD SHATTY!
  92. [2014-04-09 14:52:27] * Golden_Dream smiles brightly. "Cool. I found some things!" She said, hauling back a medical box and an ammo box.
  93. [2014-04-09 14:52:58] <Little_Gloom> 3The Griffinchaster II itself is badly weathered, particularly from the slightly salty winds. It doesn't look like it will likely ever fly again.
  94. [2014-04-09 14:53:22] * Get_Confused "you dont' remember? how far does your last memory go?"
  95. [2014-04-09 14:54:29] * Noble_Heart takes a look at the boxes. "Sadly, I'm no good with things like this. Perhaps we should ask the others? Get Lost could no doubt get into either." She slowly paces around the wreck curiously.
  96. [2014-04-09 14:59:41] * Golden_Dream nods. "That's the idea. I know I ain't opening 'em." She very notably didn't even try to open the lids. Damn things were always locked. "You know, part'a me's thinkin' it's a bad idea t' try t' get into that there reactor core." She said, getting ready to head back into the hub to get those boxes open and get her radsuit.
  97. [2014-04-09 15:01:46] * CopyCat rubs her chin. "I remember... living in a swamp. But then my brother... wait, sorry forget that. I remember other children in the Stable snickering at me because of my name..." She blinks. "No. That's not me. I remember, um, trying to help the other Crusaders when they were hurt but they just told me to Get Lost..." CopyCat looks down at her hooves. "I... I don't know what I remember."
  98. [2014-04-09 15:02:48] * Get_Confused not getting a reply, the mare goes upstairs and opens the silly boxes. mayb, this way she'll know about alicorn sex? "don't worry, copy. as long as you remember that you have friends, you are fine"
  99. [2014-04-09 15:02:51] * Noble_Heart frowns. "The reactor core is... Impressively defended. It looked like a stable door down below that was blocking it. The radsuits were found just outside." She follows after Golden Dream. "Trying to get within is a bad idea."
  100. [2014-04-09 15:02:59] * Bookwright shrugs on a freshly repaired suit. "Well, I for one am excited to go check it out, Golden. If we can find this power source that generates so much radioactive waste, we may be able to solve Equestria's power supply problems and ghoul longevity problems in one go."
  101. [2014-04-09 15:03:56] * Get_Confused quickly opens the boxes "so, noble, now.... do alicorns go in heat?"
  102. [2014-04-09 15:05:37] * Golden_Dream blinks as she heads on into the building. "My, what a question t' walk into t' hear." She chuckled as a reaction to the amount of awkwardness she was feeling.
  103. [2014-04-09 15:07:15] * Noble_Heart blinks a few moments at that question. "We do not see why that matters. Would you care to exlain?"
  104. [2014-04-09 15:09:57] * Bookwright can feel the awkwardness growing palpable. "Perhaps we should get going? Get Lost, can you please open the medicine box next? We really do need anti-radiation drugs."
  105. [2014-04-09 15:11:17] * Get_Confused nods "i'm a medic, bt i never had to study alicorn physiology, so i was curious."
  106. [2014-04-09 15:11:20] * Shatara puts on his new fancy sealed power armor. It's still kind of awkward, but yay, rad protection!
  107. [2014-04-09 15:11:52] * Get_Confused "professional inquiring nature, see? nothing done to embarass shatara. not at all. honest. well.... maybe a little"
  108. [2014-04-09 15:13:18] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost opens the ammo box, revealing two flare guns and six flare rounds. The medical box holds a single healing potion, a medical brace, a dose of painkillers and a dose of hydra.
  109. [2014-04-09 15:15:33] * Shatara glares at Get_Confused.
  110. [2014-04-09 15:15:51] * Shatara then proceeds to examine the choppah for parts.
  111. [2014-04-09 15:15:58] * Get_Confused "hey look: drugs!... meh, i'll go open that door"
  112. [2014-04-09 15:18:38] * Get_Confused sits next to the door, starts tinkering with the lock and it quickly clicks open "wow, there's no hole that can keep me outside..." think about it for a moment "it's not as fun as if i were a stallion... i hope nopony heard me"
  113. [2014-04-09 15:19:50] <Little_Gloom> 3The hatch opens, revealing rickety wooden stairs descending into darkness. The darkness isn't deep, but it is cool, and there is a soft hum audible from within.
  114. [2014-04-09 15:21:43] * CopyCat remains where she was near to Shatara's workshop, staring vacantly down at her hooves.
  115. [2014-04-09 15:24:10] * Golden_Dream starts changing into her Radiation suit. She's somewhere between being surprised that Get knows her measurements, and not surprised at all that Get knows her measurements. Breathing became something of a hassle, but it was better than, well, being horribly radioactive.
  116. [2014-04-09 15:24:25] * Bookwright grins. "Awesome! There's still something working down there! Get Lost, do we have any Rad-X?"
  117. [2014-04-09 15:25:11] * Get_Confused "i don't know...."
  118. [2014-04-09 15:25:22] * Golden_Dream blinks, and looks at her leg. "What th'?" How did this thing get on the outside of the suit? She couldn't exactly get it off!
  119. [2014-04-09 15:25:25] * Get_Confused "there were some in the cabinets, i think?"

  121. [2014-04-09 15:27:51] * Noble_Heart heads out towards the entrance to the basement. She peers into the darkness. "This seems of questionable safety."
  122. [2014-04-09 15:32:43] * Golden_Dream starts going out, and looking down into the abyss. She took out her flashlight, squeezed it between her forehooves, and turned it on to see what was immediately inside. "Yeah, well. That doesn't stop us often enough." She notes.
  123. [2014-04-09 15:32:54] * Bookwright "What're you afraid of? It's not like radiation can harm you." He lights his horn and eagerly lights down the steps.
  124. [2014-04-09 15:34:45] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara is able to recover numerous mechanical parts from the Griffinchaser, including both peddle sets and one of the three rotor assemblies, as well as four pieces of scrap metal.
  125. [2014-04-09 15:35:23] * Noble_Heart follows Bookwright down. "It is not Us that We are afraid for."
  126. [2014-04-09 15:35:32] * CopyCat shakes her head briskly and then looks up as Shatara finishes his parts salvaging. "We should catch up with the others. We don't want them going on amazing adventures without us!"
  127. [2014-04-09 15:36:01] * Shatara nods to CopyCat, hastily stashing the parts in the Firewagon before heading with the alicorn after the others.
  128. [2014-04-09 15:38:28] <Little_Gloom> 3The steps go down about the height of three ponies, ending in a cool, concrete room. A large generator sits in the center of the room, long dead. Power cables snake into the room and all around it from holes in the walls. Most of them connect to a box with a bright orange New Futures logo. The walls themselves are lined with refrigerators, seven in all.
  129. [2014-04-09 15:39:10] * Golden_Dream tries to find a place on her clothes that can hook a flashlight into it before looking at the refrigerators and practically seeing the face of Celestia.
  130. [2014-04-09 15:40:13] * Bookwright steps forward, the amber glow of his horn casting odd shadows. He inspects the curious New Futures box.
  131. [2014-04-09 15:40:49] <Little_Gloom> 3The hum is coming from all the power cables. The refrigerators are mostly silent.
  132. [2014-04-09 15:41:13] * Noble_Heart eartwitches at the hum. "We would recommend avoiding those cables. They must be active, and have a great deal of power within to create that sound."
  133. [2014-04-09 15:42:05] * CopyCat does her best pointer-dog impression for Shatara and points down the hole. "I think they went that way!"
  134. [2014-04-09 15:42:36] * Shatara heads off in that direction!
  135. [2014-04-09 15:43:55] * Golden_Dream opens a refrigerator hesitantly. Oh please don't be a moldy horror show in there.
  136. [2014-04-09 15:46:34] * CopyCat follows the sound of looting and soon finds her friends. She grins and turns to Shatara, tail happily wagging with the knowledge of a job well done.
  137. [2014-04-09 15:48:58] * Shatara patpets CopyCat on the head, and beams to the others in his super-fancy modified armor.
  138. [2014-04-09 15:53:21] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright can tell that most of these cables originally attached to the generator. But they have been disconnected and reattached to the New Futures box -- a hub of some sort. Two of the cables, the thickest, are actually integral to the box, and snake out a hole towards the west, in the direction of the New Futures installation.
  139. [2014-04-09 15:56:04] * CopyCat tilts her head at Golden_Dream's protracted (perhaps horrified) silence. "The fridge is that bad, huh?"
  140. [2014-04-09 15:56:21] <Little_Gloom> 3Somewhere in Tragedy's End, Bookwright can assume there is a similar box and cabling leading underground out to the Academy.
  141. [2014-04-09 15:57:05] * Bookwright "What a bizarre box."
  142. [2014-04-09 16:01:10] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream braves the first Fridge. The refrigerator's light winks on, revealing eight large jars of aged glass with various fruits floating in unknown liquids. The labels read Good Pony Preserves (When it's Good Pony, it's Family!).
  143. [2014-04-09 16:02:49] <Little_Gloom> 3The fruits seem to be a variety -- pears, peaches, apples, peaches, oranges?, more pears, peaches, and peaches.
  144. [2014-04-09 16:03:54] * Bookwright "I suppose this must be a power supply. If those refrigerators are still working, I suppose this must be as well."
  145. [2014-04-09 16:05:38] * Bookwright "Downstepping, or upstepping from the source and then distributing it."
  146. [2014-04-09 16:05:59] * Golden_Dream blinks and moves the preserves in her hoof. "Hey! It's preserves!" She looks it over. "Um. Maybe in syrup? I dunno, I usually stick to stuff I pick along th' way or dried fruit 'cause they're easier to work with in terms a' cookin'." She then proceeded to go down the rows, picking up foods along the way.
  147. [2014-04-09 16:06:09] * Noble_Heart looks towards the fridge curiously. She blanches slightly. "We doubt that it would be a good idea to eat something like that."

[2014-04-09 16:16:13] <Little_Gloom> 3The fourth refrigerator is a colony of black molds, grey fungi and strange yellow stains covering misshapen mounds and crawling all over the interior of the fridge. Whatever is growing in here seems to have mutated to feed on the refridgerator's interior lining. It's even gotten *inside* the light bulb and is growing in small blobs.

Start claimin' booze if you want it, else I'm gonna sell it. And..." She looked at the Sparkle Cola Clear. "... And what's this?"

She looked at the preserves. "Hey, I could probably make you some fruit-baked jerky with this stuff, Shatara!" She said, finishing up, putting away the water.

  173. [2014-04-09 16:55:38] * Bookwright climbs back up the stairs into the daylight, taking his point of light with him and leaving the others in darkness.
  174. [2014-04-09 16:56:34] * Noble_Heart was standing outside, having been helping Golden Dream. "We suggest not delaying much longer than necessary. This place is still dangerous to you."
  175. [2014-04-09 16:57:09] * CopyCat 'eeps' and heads to the surface. "Where to next?" She looks to Shatara. "The military camp?"
  176. [2014-04-09 16:57:43] * Shatara steps outside with everyone. "Sounds good. That's next-closest thing, right?"
  177. [2014-04-09 16:57:44] * Golden_Dream raises an eyebrow, then walks back down the stairs with her pipbuck lit to make sure that everybody's left the bunker. If everypony was, then she shut the bunker and started towards the building. "Sounds like a plan." She said to Copycat.
  178. [2014-04-09 16:58:25] * CopyCat blinks. "It wasn't my plan... but okay!"
  179. [2014-04-09 17:03:05] * Golden_Dream looks up at Copycat. And then Shatara. "... So. Copycat. What's a goth?" She said in a whistful tone.

  181. [2014-04-09 17:07:42] <Little_Gloom> 3The group of ponies and griffin trot over to the gate between the boarder military encampment and the MoP field hospital. The gate is unlocked and swings open freely, albeit with a loud squeal. Military buildings, squat and thick site between barracks, amaze of fencing on the far end designed to corral. Two tanks face an armored door in the wall.
  182. [2014-04-09 17:08:15] * CopyCat seems dumbfounded. "I... don't know." She looks around at Bookwright and Noble_Heart. "Um, something like... a pony who feels bad because they think about the bad things in the world all the time?"
  183. [2014-04-09 17:08:48] * Shatara oooohs. "taaaanks..." He dashesover to them, and starts looking for good ways to steal them.
  184. [2014-04-09 17:09:41] * Noble_Heart frowns and looks towards the building. She proceeds through the gate to get a better look.

  188. [2014-04-09 17:11:27] <Little_Gloom> 3As on the wall, the tops military buildings are adorned with rusty barbed wire and dead turrets. The train tracks from Equestria end here, although this does not appear to have been the original terminus. A massive turnstile at the end of the tracks once served to rotate train engines.A military spider-bot lies crumpled near the tracks.
  189. [2014-04-09 17:11:32] <Little_Gloom> 3The wind blows through Tragedy's End, sounding desolate. As with the hospital, the military encampment is largely stripped. Months of use without resupply, followed by an expedition of ponies taking whatever they could carry.
  190. [2014-04-09 17:14:38] * Golden_Dream looks at Shatara with a happy look on her face. "Hey, Shatara! Let's look for guns and stuff first!"

  192. [2014-04-09 17:16:26] * Golden_Dream looks at Copycat. "Oh. So, how'd they get the name 'goth's? Also, how th' hell would I look good in black? I still don't know how I can look good in anythin'. I've got, like, four different colors in way different sides 'a th' spectrum goin' on here."
  193. [2014-04-09 17:17:32] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara looks over the tanks. The tanks both have battle scars, but age has done more damage, turning them into largely rusted hulks. One is leaning badly, the tracks on its left side hopelessly devastated by more than just time.
  194. [2014-04-09 17:17:44] <Little_Gloom> 3The exteriors have been stripped of anything useful, but if Shatara could get one of the rusted hatches open, there might be lootable parts or equipment inside.
  195. [2014-04-09 17:19:41] * Golden_Dream looks over at Shatara who looked like he was having a field day. "I say we let 'em have this one and do th' bulk a' th' explorin'. Guy just worked real hard for us. Least we could do is let him nerd out for a while."
  196. [2014-04-09 17:20:19] * Shatara tugs at one of the hatches, the tick-tick-tickety of his pipbuck reminding him to be glad for his armor.
  197. [2014-04-09 17:25:29] * Golden_Dream sighs, kicking a loose stone. "Ah' mean, I got one yeller eye, one blue eye, green fur, red and orange mane. I'm a walkin' rainbow, and it ain't in th' cool Rainbow Dash way."

  200. [2014-04-09 17:27:38] <Little_Gloom> 3The largest of the military buildings turns out to have been a garage, part of the encampment's motor pool. There are two vehicles in states of severe disrepair and decay, a steam-powered wagon and what looks like an Enclave bomber wagon. There are four pegasi skeletons in here ringed around the latter.

  204. [2014-04-09 17:30:21] * Golden_Dream blinks. "Err. Do any of those?" She shook her head. "Really should think my thoughts out better."
  205. [2014-04-09 17:32:19] * Bookwright begins gingerly turning over the skeletons, searching for tags. "Sorry about this guys... but I at least want to know who you were..."
  206. [2014-04-09 17:37:34] <Little_Gloom> 3Tray as he might, Shatara finds he cannot open the rusty hatched of the tanks alone.

  210. [2014-04-09 17:40:17] * Golden_Dream sighs. "But yeah. I wish I could be pretty like you or Get or Noble. I mean, I've been hit on by some of th' traders that come by th' house t' get alcohol, but I always got th' sense that it's 'cause I was all alone and didn't exactly have anyone t' back me up so that they could jus' use me how they wanted. And when that didn't pan out for them 'cause I have half a sense a' Luna-damned...
  211. [2014-04-09 17:40:18] * Golden_Dream ...dignity, all of a sudden I'm that crazy girl that lives in th' Moonwalk."
  212. [2014-04-09 17:40:53] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright finds enough identifying marks to recognize these pegasi as a patrol team from the Thunderhead, suggesting they have been here about two decades, not over two centuries.

  214. [2014-04-09 17:41:45] * Bookwright "Curiouser and curiouser. Well, I'm sure you won't mind if I take this armor... somepony here is bound to have a use for it. I wonder why you were so interested in this wagon...?"
  215. [2014-04-09 17:42:01] * Bookwright leaves the armor for now, and steps up to give the wagon a closer inspection.
  216. [2014-04-09 17:42:01] * Shatara sighs and glides over to the others.
  217. [2014-04-09 17:42:23] * Shatara joins in examining the bomberwagon. Not quite as awesome as TAAANKS, but cool.
  218. [2014-04-09 17:42:45] * Golden_Dream shrugs before slowly moving towards Shatara. "I dunno. I guess I jus' wanna say fer once that I'm pretty 'cause I'm pretty, not 'cause some durned flankface wants t' use me." She starts moving over to the tanks to give it her own shot.
  219. [2014-04-09 17:45:52] * CopyCat trots behind Golden_Dream with her ears drooping. "Perhaps I'm not who you should be asking. I do a lot of pretending to be other ponies... and besides, we still haven't seen you in a dress."
  220. [2014-04-09 17:47:40] * Golden_Dream moves over to the hatch, lines herself up, and then bucks the hatch handle for all her little body was worth. "Yeah ya'll have. I wore one back at th' Crystal Kingdom after th' whole big spell went off."
  221. [2014-04-09 17:50:51] * Noble_Heart regards the skeletons quietly, tilting her head to one side then the other. She moves up to the skywagon to check it out. "They seem to have been here since after the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows. Perhaps they were searching for a way to escape from the Enclave and the radiation here got to them too quickly?"
  222. [2014-04-09 17:52:42] * CopyCat chuckles at Golden_Dream. "Oh yes. But you see? The result was so amazing that I had forgotten it was our super action filly under there."
  223. [2014-04-09 17:53:19] * Bookwright shakes his head. "I kinda doubt it. The radiation is significant here, but not that bad. And this one was wearing enclave armor, she had to have known about the radiation."
  224. [2014-04-09 17:56:08] * Golden_Dream rolls her eyes. "More like it were so forgettable that it disappeared from ya'll's head right after it happened." She retorted, sitting down. "Hey, Shatara! I think I got yer thing open! Get yer cat butt over here!"
  225. [2014-04-09 17:56:10] * Noble_Heart taps her chin thoughtfully. "It is possible something else got to them. But We are uncertain what would have killed four like this in such close proximity..."
  226. [2014-04-09 17:57:03] * Shatara looks up from examining the bomber. "Whuh? But...uh...I totally loosened it for you!"
  227. [2014-04-09 17:57:55] * Golden_Dream gives Shatara's direction a sassy look as she put her fore hooves on the sides of her flanks. "Yeah, whatever helps y' sleep at night."
  228. [2014-04-09 17:58:49] * Shatara flaps past her muttering something about stoopid cheater earfpones
  229. [2014-04-09 17:59:29] * CopyCat smiles sweetly. "I wouldn't use my memory as a measure of something's worth."
  230. [2014-04-09 18:02:07] * Golden_Dream sticks her tongue out and blows a raspberry at Shatara. "Who says?"
  231. [2014-04-09 18:02:14] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream has her try at the hatch. Surprisingly, the hatch emits a loud, teeth-tormenting groan as rust flakes off and the hatch opens... a little. Not enough for anyone to climb in, but enough to get a look inside.
  232. [2014-04-09 18:06:20] <Little_Gloom> 3They bomberwagon is a rather simple device compared to a motorwagon. Shatara's mechanical knowledge tells him that the bomberwagon itself will never fly again, but that it is a good source for parts if the Enclave is looking to repair a broken bomberwagon in better condition. Some of the scavengeable parts could even be used for a sky tank.
  233. [2014-04-09 18:07:17] * Shatara takes quick stock of scavengable things to look into on his pipbuck before going back to the tanks.
  234. [2014-04-09 18:12:49] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara gets a look inside the partially opened hatch, his PipBuck shedding light inside. Within, he can see a carbine rifle that looks to be in fair condition with a bayonet attached to the end. Unfortunately, he can't seem to get a good angle to see whether or not there are any shells left in the tank.
  235. [2014-04-09 18:14:37] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream is a little smaller and able to get into a very uncomfortable position that allows her to spy the rack for the tank shells. It's not a very good look, but she can tell that it is mostly empty. Which, importantly, is not the same as completely empty.
  236. [2014-04-09 18:15:15] * Golden_Dream covers her mouth. "Oh sweet Celestia."
  237. [2014-04-09 18:16:06] * Shatara blinkblinks. "What isit?"

  239. [2014-04-09 18:18:05] * Noble_Heart looks up at Golden Dream's expression, she frowned deeply. Something about that did not seem good...
  240. [2014-04-09 18:20:38] * Golden_Dream does a sit-up and cranes her neck so that she gets out of the tank. "This tank got some big ol' bullets in it! Like, huge!"
  241. [2014-04-09 18:21:32] * Shatara waves his talons in gesturations of size. "Like...?"
  242. [2014-04-09 18:21:43] * Bookwright "So? It's supposed to. It's a tank."
  243. [2014-04-09 18:26:49] * Golden_Dream gives a rough size estimate and gestures for Shatara to turn around.
