Running diagonally causes the game to look like it's stuttering.

Pressing tab when within the inventory should take you out of it whatever you're doing.

I'm not sure how the toilet door got unlocked as I ran around in circles pressing E after trying to interact with everything and using the lighter everywhere.

Pressing E to interact, but J(L?) to cancel is annoying, since E doesn't do anything else. The inconsistency of controls is my main gripe here - the atmosphere is great, but if I'm using E to do things most of the time, it would be easier if I could continue using it while in the inventory, skipping text and doing other interactions.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the "find some specific objects, which have to be those exact objects and then use them in this specific way to do this specific action like opening this door here, because obviously that is less dangerous than climbing through broken glass". With this type of system I'm not trying to figure out what to do to solve some problem (which I probably missed as part of unread sheet paper text), instead I'm looking for items, which are like hints on where to go next, such as "There's a key right there. Take it?". It's not even an option, it's like a prompt - "You can now go to Morgue." - but disguised under 10 button presses.

When I do get to Morgue, I'd prefer using the key automatically, rather than fiddling with the non-E based menu work, with Tabbing 100 times before realizing I need to cancel the selection somehow.

Running zombie attack is cool and unexpected in a good way.

Thought I could clear the piles of junk with the axe - nope. Maybe I can axe the locked doors - nope. Ran around killing zombies. Died unexpectedly - the more you get injured the more blood splatters on the screen would make sense.

Everything I didn't complain about is great though.
