Piss Poor Group Session 30

[17:25] * Rabtar  our group has spent the night in a random house they found out in the desert, after helping end a gecko civil war. It is now the next morning...
[17:27] * Ragebrew cracked her eyes open as the first beams of light found their way into the room. She stretched and sat up in the bed, scratching herself a few time before PWOMF, fwuffball. "I do not want to have to deal with this sober..." She pushed off the bed and trotted downstairs to disable the mine trap.
[17:30] * Elektron stirs a little from Ragebrew getting up, but just pulls the trooper armour -which he had been using as a pillow - over his head and continues to sleep
[17:31] * Ragebrew trotted back upstairs, still blurry eyed and grumbling profanities under her breath about foalsitting as she picked up her equipment and trotted back downstairs to the kitchen. The sounds of breakfast being prepared came from there shortly.
[17:39] * Elektron continues to snore away, the armour over his head drowning out the sounds of Ragebrew cooking downstairs
[17:39] * Click had managed to find something warm to snuggle up against in the night. She was curled up against Midnight Hour, letting out a noise that almost sounded like purring as she slept.
[17:44] * Midnight_Hour wakes up, realizing that, yet again, she had a dragon in her tent and cuddling against her. Sighing, Midnight teleports away and takes this as her cue to wake up.
[17:45] * Ragebrew slammed her hoof down a few times on the kitchen counter. "WAKE UP YA SLUGS OR I AIN'T GIVING YA BREAKFAST!" She bellowed at the top of her lungs. She set individual bowls, clean bowls, out and ladled a thick slurry of gruel into each.
[17:45] * Elektron a faint thud can be heard from upstairs
[17:47] * Elektron trots down, trooper armour off, rubbing his head slightly "You didn't need to yell that, you kind of freaked me out." He said before taking a seat before a bowl
[17:50] * Shade_Tail ([email protected]) has joined #Piss_Poor_Group
[17:50] * Click stirs a bit at the lack of warmth, then bolts awake at the loud noise, on all fours with her back arcked like a startled cat. she looks around a bit, then peeks her head out the tent. She tenmtatively steps out, looking around before grabbing her backpack and heading downstairs, not dressing in her armor, coat, or clothes.
[17:51] * Ragebrew waggled a ladle at Elektron "If I gotta yell to wake ya up, anything that fancied nibbling on ya would already be working on it's second helping of yer flank before ya noticed." She looked at Click, wearing only her hat and that damned harness. "Morning lizard lips. Siddown, eat, get some water in ya. We got a long day." She pulled out a couple glasses and poured everyone a glass of, sadly, dirty water.
[17:52] * Midnight_Hour grimaces as Click walks out. "I have a private tent for a reason, Click. I like sleeping alone, no offense."
[17:53] * Elektron takes a sniff of the... stuff before shrugging and taking a few bites
[17:56] * Click blinks a few times "Oh, um... I'm sorry. Not used to sleeping alone. One of the older teen dragons usually watched over me when I slept."
[17:58] * Ragebrew pushed a bowl towards Midnight_Hour, along with a glass of water. "So, ya wanna examine that orb of death, or ya wanna save it till we find the zebra lair?"
[18:00] * Midnight_Hour takes the bowl and thinks for a moment. "I might as well take a look at it now. If it's too dangerous to carry with us, we might as well make sure of that before we try to take it with us."
[18:01] * Elektron finishes of the last of the gruel before speaking up "I just say we leave it. I don't think anything good can come from it."
[18:02] * Ragebrew nodded and started eating. "Gonna give ya a dose of rad-ex and my cloak. It should safe guard ya from whatever it was. Think was bleeding hard rads, I could taste it." She looked at Elektron, and lightly thwapped him "Yeah, leave it for some other nitwit to encounter. If we can figure out what it it, we might be able to make us of it."
[18:02] * Click from one pony to the other as she ate and drank, having no real idea what they were talking about.
[18:03] * Elektron rubs his head before sighing and looking at Midnight_Hour "Just... just don't do anything dangerous..." he said before getting up to turn on the robot
[18:06] <Ragebrew> "Plan to take it outside. Don't want to leave this place glowing." She finished off her gruel and licked the bowl clean. She picked up Elektron's bowl "Ya missed a spot." She licked that bowl clean too...
[18:06] <Midnight_Hour> "I'll be careful," she says before starting to eat her breakfast.
[18:09] * PAL whirrs and buzzes before getting up, eyes glowing yellow "Good morning commander, it has been 8.32 hours since last you last logged in. What are your orders?" it responds with a mechanical monotone
[18:09] * Click herself had finished while the ponies were busy talking. Now she was counting her big bag of pony money.
[18:10] * Merciful_Devotion ([email protected]) Quit ( Ping timeout: 121 seconds )
[18:11] * Elektron checks to make sure everything is working properly before responding "Just stay close", he then trots back to Ragebrew and the others

[18:12] * Ragebrew went about gathering together everything, taking the box to a nice spot outside, on the otherside of a hill. She then set her enviromental cloak next to Midnight_Hour, and rummage for her bottle of Rad-ex. "Ok, ya'll have a few minutes before this stuff wears off. And don't just popped the entire contain in one go. Gotta pop one, split two under yer tongue, one in yer cheek, and crush the last one into a powder to get the FUL
[18:12] * Ragebrew powder to get the FULL effect. Tastes like hell, but better than tasting yer own blood course yer gums are bleeding."

[18:13] * Midnight_Hour blinks. "Well... that sounds sooo appetizing."
[18:14] * Ragebrew just grinned. "Sure ya never had to worry about radiation poisoning in yer ivory tower. Hey, me telling ya the signs might save yer life one day."

[18:17] <Ragebrew> "Now finish yer breakfast. If ya can't, ya need to learn how to stomach a little gross. Daylight's burning.'

[18:18] * Midnight_Hour frowns, eating her food before carefully taking the glowing orb outside to study it.
[18:19] <Click> "What's she doing?" Click asked curiously as she watched her go
[18:20] * Elektron sighs "Something probably really dangerous" he said before starting to put the Trooper Armour back on
[18:21] <Ragebrew> "To fiddle with one of Quark's testicles, I believe. I can't think of anything that could be that irradiated and not be related to that sod."
[18:21] * Click had no idea what Ragebrew was talking about, but looked a little worried when elektron said it was dangerous.
[18:27] * Rabtar  the orb still glowed and was still putting off an alarming amount of radiation...
[18:36] * Midnight_Hour spends a few minutes cross referencing with her new book and very quickly realizes what it is. Carefully closing the door, she walks back into the house, pale as a ghost.
[18:38] * Elektron slips a wrench, screwdriver and a hammer into his bandoleer before looking up at Midnight_Hour "What was it?" he asked, worried by her look
[18:38] * Midnight_Hour swallows hard. "It's a balefire egg... A damaged one."
[18:39] * Elektron takes a reflexive step back from Midnight_Hour, eyes wide as saucers
[18:39] * Ragebrew trots up to Midnight_Hour and gives her a quick check over for signs of poisoning. She blinked a few times at the answer. "Well.... Lovely. What's a balefire egg?"
[18:41] * Midnight_Hour looks at Ragebrew for a second like he's an idiot before shaking her head. "It's what the balefire bombs that destroyed the world were based off of. It's a necrotic imbuing of dragonfire into an infertile dragon egg. Think of a miniature balefire bomb."
[18:42] * Ragebrew looked at the mare for a moment. "Right then. Learn something new every day. How big a boom ya figure it'll make if it goes off?"
[18:44] * Ragebrew was idly loading a shell into her grenade rifle.
[18:44] * Midnight_Hour thinks for a moment. "I'd say it could vaporize this whole building and us with it if it went off. Even if we survive, the rads would probably kill us or come close to it."
[18:44] * Elektron gulps at this information
[18:44] * Click blinks a few times, eyes wide when she heard how the balefire eggs were made. "So... Zebra magic, dragonfire, and dragon eggs?"
[18:45] * Midnight_Hour grimaces. "Pretty much."
[18:47] * Elektron asks worriedly "So what are we going to do with it?", looking to the others
[18:48] <Ragebrew> "Well, everyone gather what ya can, and get a good ways away. I am gonna get as far away as I can, and I'm gonna take pot shots at it with my grenade rifle. I figure if I get close enough, it'll top off." She said with a wide grin before gathering up her equipment, the grenade rifle rested across her shoulder.
[18:53] * Elektron nods and gathers his things, motioning for the robot to follow before leaving the house and starting to move far, far away
[18:53] * PAL follows Elektron
[18:54] * Ragebrew looked to Click. "Might wanna follow 'em. Not sure how big this thing is gonna go boom."
[18:55] * Click blinsk, then nods as she hurries out to follow the others, taking her coat out of her backpack and slipped it on.
[18:57] * Ragebrew did a quick double check over the house, making sure they didn't leave anything lying around, before trotting outside a gooooooood ways away. She laid out the six other rounds as she hunkered down on the ground, propping the barrel onto good rock. "Alright... Lets see some fire works..."
[19:02] * Ragebrew pulls the trigger, and lets fly a single grenade.
[19:04] * Rabtar  Ragebrew's grenade arcs right towards the balefire egg, connecting with a small pop. A moment later the egg goes off! A massive green flash and a defining boom echoes around the desert. A wall of green fire rolls towards Rage and Midnight but it dissipates before it reaches them.

[19:12] * Ragebrew lowered her sunglasses to stare in blank awe for a moment. "Hot damn... Hole in one." She coughed a few times, spitting a bloody blob onto the ground. "I wanna die with a boom like that..."
[19:13] * Elektron trots back, feeling uneasy after witnessing the explosion "I'd... um... rather not..." he said with some concern
[19:14] * Ragebrew rose from the ground, slipping the grenade rifle away with a kiss to the barrel. "Aye, if yer gonna die, may as well leave a good crater." He looked over the others. "Ya'll feeling ok?"
[19:15] * Click gets up, starig wide-eyed at where the green flash took place. "... Wow..."
[19:16] * Elektron nods "I think so, we were outside the blast radius right?" he asks, tilting his head
[19:17] * Ragebrew shrugged "Either my mouth is bleeding or we got radded. If ya feel sick, tell me."
[19:18] * Elektron nods "I will, but where do we go now?"
[19:18] * Laini ([email protected]) has left #Piss_Poor_Group
[19:19] * Ragebrew pointed towards the dunes. "Out there. Somewhere is a witch's lair, and we plan to loot the hell out of it. So lets get this show on the road.'
[19:19] <Click> "I'm okay..." She spoke up, taking the time to taek off her coat and put her flakk jacket , then her coat back on before starting to follow the funny pone.
[19:20] * Midnight_Hour covers her eyes and face before the blast goes off. Then, after checking on the party, she follows Ragebrew as they continue searching for the witch's lair.
[19:23] * Rabtar  the group spend a good portion of the morning wandering around, quite lost. Then suddenly they find themselves at Swirlston once again. It's been a few days since there last visit...
[19:24] * Ragebrew stands staring at the trade outpost and rock upcropping she was so familiar with. Something audibly snapped in her, and not just the cigarette hanging from her lips. "FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU------" Off she went running into the outlaying area. She needed to kill something.

[19:25] * Elektron looks around awkwardly after the scene Ragebrew, not quite sure what to do
[19:27] * Click watches Ragebrew's little scnee as she shouts and runs off. Then, the little dragon started looking around the area, flicking her tongue out near the sand below.
[19:28] * Ragebrew thunders back to the party, holding a dead gecko by the neck, one of her eyes narrowed to the slit, the other bugged out wide. She sat down and proceeded to gut and clean the critter. "Elektron. Get me turpentine." She threw a bag of 30 caps at the tech pony.
[19:29] * Elektron grabs the caps and trots quickly to the store realizing what Ragebrew was about to do
[19:31] * Click now ignoring everything else around her, the little dragon starts digging another hole
[19:33] * Ragebrew sets the two hides she had to tan, waiting for the turpentine as she sat down and did her damnedest not to light a cigarette on her hotplate. "Two more days of pointless travel... All that fucking water... Sisters damnit, if I smell any cheese I'm gonna flip shit."
[19:39] * Elektron goes to the store, purchasing a mod for his Magical Energy Rifle and found they did not have Ragebrew's turpentine
[19:51] * Rabtar  somehow Elektron misses Long-shot AND Merciful_Devotion devotion having a conversation in the shop
[19:51] * Merciful_Devotion sighs softly as she stands next to Long-Shot. "Kinda miss them, ya'know?"
[19:51] * Long-shot nodnods "Mmhmm, just.. not getting shot at.. hehe"
[19:53] * Merciful_Devotion shrugs a bit. "I dunno, it's just... Boring, I guess..." Her ears fold back a little. "I hope they're not still mad at me... I kinda left in a huff..."
[19:53] * Elektron trots back to Ragebrew with a slowness in his step, passing him back the caps "Sorry, they didn't have any turpentine... " he said, not really focusing. He lies down beside Ragebrew feeling uneasy "I don't think I was far enough from the blast..." he said weakly
[19:55] * Long-shot nodnods and hugs Merciful_Devotion "It's okay, I think you'll be just fine. Not like we don't all get mad sometimes"
[19:56] * Merciful_Devotion leans into the hug, not looking quite convinced. "Thanks."
[19:57] * Midnight_Hour looks at the shop. "I think I'll go see if they have any apple cider. I need to get that radiation after taste out of my mouth."
[19:58] * Long-shot "Dawww, come on now, when have they been really upset at anypony? Plus I left them too in a second.. and I don't believe there mad at me."
[19:58] <Merciful_Devotion> "Yeah, but /you/ didn't yell at them..."
[20:00] * Long-shot nods softly and sighs "I still think you'll be just fine, mmkay? Just try not to worry over it."
[20:01] * Ragebrew lookd from the tanning racks and just groaned. "Great. Well, they'll stay good for a bit." She pulled a bottle of rad-away and offered it to Elektron. "Here, chug that." Before turning around and trotting into the store, grumbling under her breath, too busy counting out caps to look around
[20:02] <Merciful_Devotion> "Alright... Hope they haven't changed too much... Still wanna get a chance at Rage." She chuckles softly and winks at Long.
[20:02] * Ragebrew snorted as she picked up a couple trinkets and nick nacks. "Yer still a lecher I see, Mercy."
[20:04] * Elektron takes a sip of the rad-away resulting in his eyes bulging and him coughing and hacking madly
[20:04] * Long-shot laughs and blushes flailing softly and harmlessly towards her "Nuuuuu! I'm innocent remember!"
[20:05] * Merciful_Devotion blinks. "Rage..?" She glances over at the fluffy mare with a grin. "Maybe a little, huh?"
[20:05] * Long-shot quickly proceeds to tackleglomp Ragey!
[20:05] * Ragebrew tips her hat to the unicorn mare. "Aye ya. And no yer not Long, yer a father of all things. Ack!"
[20:06] * Long-shot giggles and snuggles into Ragey "A father of all things? Whatcha mean?"
[20:07] <Merciful_Devotion> "... What?"
[20:08] * Ragebrew stood up, housting Long-shot up under one of her legs. "Ya know why I hate unicorns sometimes? They don't play by the rules. Nature's rules included. Or Quark did it. EIther way, Long knocked me up. Congrats. Now do ya know where I can get some sodding turpentine around here?"
[20:08] * Merciful_Devotion rubs her head, rather confused.
[20:08] <Ragebrew> "I'm gonna have a foal, Mercy."
[20:09] <Ragebrew> "And Long is the daddy."
[20:09] <Ragebrew> "Fuck if I know how this works."
[20:09] * Long-shot meeps and whimpers "D-Did... I do bad Ragey?" she says with head cast down but desperate for more answers
[20:09] * Merciful_Devotion blinks. "Uh... Congrats?"
[20:11] <Ragebrew> "I got no idea. I don't feel like ya did, but aye, karma's a bitch to everyone involved. So, whatcha two been up to?" Rage gave Long-shot a good hug before setting her down. She looked tired.
[20:12] * Merciful_Devotion shrugs. "Not a whole lot, actually..." He e
[20:12] <Merciful_Devotion> *her ears are folded back a little once more
[20:12] * Long-shot smiles and sits neck to Ragebrew giving her a soft nuzzle "I'm.. happy Ragey" she said softly "Now I dunno about any turpentine... sure you don't want to take a rest though?"
[20:13] * Ragebrew shook her head. "No rest for the weary. We're trying to find that zerba witch's place, see if we can't find anything useful. Longer we take, the more empty canteens I collect."
[20:13] <Ragebrew> "Fancy another wander through the dunes?"
[20:14] <Ragebrew> "Could always use yer help."
[20:14] <Long-shot> "Hey Ragey, I got three full canteens of pure water if you want" she smiles pulling them out for her
[20:15] <Ragebrew> "I got four of my own. If yer gonna come with, might want to hold onto 'em. Don't know how long we're gonna be out there."
[20:15] * Merciful_Devotion scuffs a hoof. "I could help, I guess.'
[20:16] <Ragebrew> "Yer always welcome Mercy. Heard what happened. Figure ya just needed some time off. Getting shot at all the damn time gets nerve racking.'
[20:16] * Long-shot leans against Ragebrew's side and nuzzles her cheek "Of course I have to come now, I gotta protect mommy~" she coos stroking her with a smile and giggle
[20:17] * Merciful_Devotion visibly winces at the word "mommy". "Yeah... I'll come."
[20:18] * Ragebrew looked at Long-shot and facehooved. "Oh Sisters why. What god did I offend for this.... Oh yeah... That one. And that one. Maybe that one too."
[20:19] * Ragebrew looked over the shelves, nothing new to be had. "Damnit all. Never enough herbs to go around... Well, lets get the others. Oh, we have a new friend. Little dragoness from somewhere way the fuck away."
[20:19] * Long-shot whimpers and blushes more "Oh Raaaagggeeyy~ You know you like it. Wait til I bust out some nicknames~" she giggles and makes her way for the exit with a sway in each step
[20:20] * Ragebrew eye spasmed for a moment. "No... No I do not. But it's something I get to deal with. So please don't make this any more sanity shredding that it already is."
[20:22] * Merciful_Devotion winces again and starts after them, looking a tad down.
[20:22] * Ragebrew trotted outside, looking for everyone else. She stuck her head down a hole in the ground "AYE CLICK! YA DOWN THERE!?" Only to get a very cross looking molerat glaring back at her. "Oh... Errr.. Sorry... Where'd she go?"
[20:23] * Long-shot goes outside, door closing behind her only letting you here the loud yelling she was now making "I'M A FATHER EVERYPONY! BEST DAY OF ALL TIME. EVER!" she giggles happily before coming back in and sitting looking around innocently
[20:25] * Merciful_Devotion flicks her ears back even more.
[20:26] * Ragebrew trotted along side Merciful_Devotion, patting her on the back. "Just think how I feel. Could be worse. Coulda been ya. Don't worry about it. Just gonna make life more... interesting, if I survive the next yearish."
[20:27] * Merciful_Devotion doesn't seemed eased by this... In fact looks a little worse than before.
[20:28] * Midnight_Hour leans in, a bottle of sassaparilla in her magic, "Congrats. Can we stop yelling?" she says before taking a drink. "Rads taste AWFUL!"
[20:29] * Ragebrew throws an odd package of yellowish orangish goop in a honey comb 'Eat that. It'll help with the rads."
[20:29] * Ragebrew throws it towards Midnight_Hour
[20:29] * Long-shot "Yeah... though.. why's everypony so uptight today... geeze..." she says trotting a ways away and sitting
[20:30] * Midnight_Hour catches it and drinks it down. "Oh goddesses," she moans, sticking her tongue out before downing some more of her soda. "Everything tastes awful out here if it's not apple flavor, doesn't it?
[20:30] * Merciful_Devotion shrugs. "Guess so..."
[20:31] * Ragebrew shrugged "Medicine never tastes good. One of those unheard of doctor rules." She said with a grin.
[20:32] * Elektron trots towards the group, feeling mildly better after the Rad-Away "Ugh... I hope I  never have to drink that stuff again..." he mutters to himself before spotting Long-shot and Merciful_Devotion, his ears perking
[20:33] * Ragebrew looked around "Now where the hell is Click? Otherwise, bands all here again."
[20:36] * Merciful_Devotion waves at Elektron, still looking a bit despondent.
[20:37] * Elektron gives an awkward wave back, forcing himself to pick up the pace to keep up with Ragebrew
[20:40] * Click pops up a littlways from the grop.

[20:40] * Long-shot stretches her neck and fixes her armour snugly on herself, she puts her Fedora and sunglasses on pulling out one of her new guns and fiddling with it
[20:41] * Click pops up a littlways from the grop. I looked like there weren't any real gems for her to find there. She made her way out, looking around.
[20:42] * Ragebrew whistled sharply "Aye! Click! We're moving on out. Come say hi to Mercy and Long."
[20:43] * Long-shot looked up at the whistle flipping her gun over her shoulder as she got up to land nicely on her back as she went to Ragebrew's side
[20:45] * Merciful_Devotion seems a bit lost on her own world at the moment
[20:48] * Rabtar  after almost two full days of traveling Ragebrew stumbles onto what could be the trail of that mad zebra. It seems to be leading them back West, towards that raider village the buffalo warned them about....
[20:49] * Ragebrew looked at the trail, then the village. "Well, this doesn't surprise me too much... She did have quite the army...."
