  4. Last time, we left our heroes at the Pokémon Center after a raging storm. The four had decided on a few quests and goals only to be foiled via the storms overflowing water. There were sightings of various water Pokémon in Viridian that night before the group reclined back into the Pokémon Center. The night was deep by this point, when Venec had suddenly disappeared, mentioning returning home to check on a few things and rushed off into the Viridian Forest, promising to meet back up with everyone 'later.

  16. Cepheus was still lost in his own thoughts. He still hadn't fully recovered emotionally from that battle, having very nearly seen Grace meet an unpleasant end.

  127. Danny looked a little worried for a second. "You're having fun, right?" he asked, worry in his face. He really cared for Larry.

  155. Walks over to Kia and sits beside her, wondering what she was thinking and if she was upset due to anything and decided to cheer her up. With that that, she turned to one of the Pokéballs at her chest, focused intently on one and turned to Kia. After a moment or so, she had completely transformed into Kia's very image, "Howdy!"

Chin up, keep at it. Things'll get easier. Now, about water..." She looks outside and grins before turning back around, "Well, it's roughly knee high. High enough to be surrounded by water types and low enough to wade in. I think it's fine, if you don't mind getting wet."

  578. "But, don't listen to those lies! It's not the rod that catches the Pokémon. Better rods just make it easier. It's the lure! A good lure nabs you the good stuff." She leans forward as she does so, blushing as she looks down at herself and realizes that the body she now inhabits is much more mature than the thirteen year old one she's used to.

  1837. Larry: Larry nudged the Seadra to simply gain its attention, making a face like, "You hurt my Trainer again, and I'll eat your intenstines." He was a very serious natured Slowpoke.
  1838. Danny: Danny threw another PokeBall!
  1839. * Danny rolls: 1d20 => 19
  1840. * Danny rolls: 1d100 => 42
  1841. Seadra: The pokeball succeeds in its Target, swallowing the Seadra whole.
  1842. Seadra: Shake.
  1843. Seadra: ..
  1844. Seadra: Shake..
  1845. Seadra: ...
  1846. Seadra: Shake...
  1847. Seadra: ....
  1848. Seadra: Ka-ching!
  1849. Kia: Kia jumps! "Finally! Good job Danny!"
  1850. Danny: "Woo!"
  1851. Seadra: Danny. You retreive one pokeball.
  1852. Danny: "But, it's kind of ugly....I'll probably give it away..."
  1853. Seadra: Kia. You lost one pokeball and retreive one malfunctioning pokeball.
  1854. Seadra: Calculating XP.
  1855. Kia: Kia chuckles, " It is not ugly...maybe Venec would like it since he had to leave."
  1856. Kia: "or Cepheus"
  1857. Danny: "I would probably trade it for Jupiter."
  1858. Danny: "Anyway, for now, it's nickname is... Ugly!"
  1859. Seadra: Larry gains 680 XP.
  1860. Seadra: Both Lala and Vi gain 340 XP.
  1861. Jupiter: Don't you DARE!
  1862. Kia: Kia chuckled. "I'm not sure if Cepheus would separate with his starter..."
  1863. Seadra: Cepheus, you are included now.
  1864. Seadra: And each one of you may make a Int/Wis check.
  1865. DNA: int check, let's see...
  1866. * Kia rolls: 1d20+3 => 17 + 3 = 20
  1867. * DNA rolls: 1d20+2 => 18 + 2 = 20
  1868. * Danny rolls: 1d20+3 => 9 + 3 = 12
  1869. Cepheus: Cepheus was still tugging on his line to try and reel something in, when he noticed something float up next to his feet. It looked like a bluish egg floating alongside broken shards of some object.
  1870. Cepheus: "Hmm, what's this?" he said. "A bluish egg? And these shards...are pieces of an egg. Did these already hatch or was there some sort of struggle here?"
  1871. Kia: "There is another one over here....only it is gray." Kia picks up the grayish egg that was floating beside her.
  1872. Cepheus: He picked the egg up and examined it thoroughly, seeing if he could determine the species.
  1873. Kia: "Use your pokedex" As she spoke she pulled out her own and scanned the egg in front of her.
  1874. Cepheus: Cepheus, noticing how silly he was to overlook that, had Jupiter motion to use the Pokedex. He could tell the egg was from a Water or possibly Ice type Pokemon, but which?
  1875. Danny: Danny watched everybody glorify themselves with eggs.
  1876. Seadra: "A Pokémon egg. Approximately 10 days old and 2 days away from hatching. Pokémon have been known to hatch from eggs despite no one having actually witnessed a Pokémon lay an egg. Even Breeders, while having facts to prove where they come from has yet to solve the mystery of how one creates or lay's one."
  1877. Kia: "Oh...welll we can always ask Nurse Joy what she thinks it is..."
  1878. Cepheus: Cepheus was hoping for a little more than that, but it was at least useful information. 2 days away from hatching? He could hold on to it for that long.
  1879. Seadra: ((The egg scanned was Kia's not yours Cepheus))
  1880. Cepheus: D'oh.
  1881. Kia: Kia began to look around. "I was hoping it would be a little more helpful. I wonder if there are anymore..."
  1882. Narrator: That would be a Search check.
  1883. Cepheus: "Jupiter, you do have the Pokedex out, right? Is it giving you anything?"
  1884. Danny: "That's a good question. Let's look for more Larry!"
  1885. Narrator: Magnemite scans the egg, "A Pokemon egg. 7 Days old and 3 Days away from hatching. This particular egg seems to enjoy high pressured areas and exceedingly cool conditions."
  1886. * Kia rolls: 1d20+3 => 12 + 3 = 15
  1887. Cepheus: "High pressure and cool conditions?" Cepheus noted. "That sounds like a deep-sea Pokemon to me. But how are we going to simulate those conditions around here?"
  1888. Danny: Danny searches for eggs.
  1889. * Danny rolls: 1d20+3 => 12 + 3 = 15
  1890. Danny: "Put it in a fridge!" Danny answered.
  1891. Cepheus: "How is a fridge high pressure?"
  1892. Danny: "Guys! Guess what I found!"
  1893. Danny: Danny grinned.
  1894. Danny: "Go on! Guess!"
  1895. Cepheus: "A female Slowpoke?"
  1896. Danny: "No, that would be awesome."
  1897. Kia: "Oh my gosh there's a body!" As Kia spoke she ran over to it without answering Danny.
  1898. Danny: "I found a dead --" Danny paused. "I was just about to say that, Kia!"
  1899. Cepheus: "A BODY?"
  1900. Cepheus: Cepheus makes his way over as quickly as he can to join the others.
  1901. Narrator: Wading through the waters and forcing yourself through the seabed of water pokemon, you make your way to the body.
  1902. Danny: Danny looks for a stick.
  1903. Kia: Kia flips the body over and checks to see if the individual is breathing.
  1904. Narrator: Search.
  1905. * Danny rolls: 1d20+3 => 4 + 3 = 7
  1906. Narrator: Int/Wis/Cha check for medical check.
  1907. * Kia rolls: 1d20+3 => 18 + 3 = 21
  1908. Narrator: Nothing is found, Danny.
  1909. Narrator: You find that the body is of a female woman, middle-aged. The body is cold and clammy. She's been dead for roughly a week and only water-logged for a few hours. Her arms are folded in the shape of a x, clenching something to her chest.
  1910. Danny: "Should I perform Remedial First Aid on her?"
  1911. Danny: "Do you know mouth-to-mouth Cepheus?"
  1912. Cepheus: "If she's already dead, I don't know if there would be a point..."
  1913. Kia: Kia unfolds the women's arms and takes the item. "No...I'm afraid she has been death for at least a week."
  1914. Narrator: Rolling random spawning item:
  1915. Kia: (been death..haha dead...XD and woman not women...)
  1916. * Kaorin Sakura rolls: 1d13 => 4
  1917. Kia: Kia fumbles to take another egg off of the woman. This egg is white with green and yellow swirls along its sides. "It almost looks like she has egg shells in her skin...here danny come take this I can only handle one egg."
  1918. Danny: Danny took the egg. "I feel kind of awful looting a corpse," Danny said, a guilt-ridden expression on his face.
  1919. Cepheus: "Did the egg just spontaneously explode and the shrapnel killed her?" Cepheus noted. Cepheus examined the egg to see what it could be, while Jupiter pointed the 'Dex at it.
  1920. Narrator: Jupiter scans the egg, "No data available."
  1921. Kia: Kia frowned. "It looks like she has a multitude of pokemon egg shells on her..."
  1922. Danny: "Maybe she hatched from an egg."
  1923. Narrator: And I'll call it here, everyone.
  1924. Cepheus: "I'm highly surprised that what you said actually made SENSE, Danny."
