DRG weapon ideas

  1. ///GUNNER
  2. 1st slot:
  3. -- Recoilless Rifle (Carl Gustav alike). Non-hitscan weapon which shots HEAT 85mm shells. Deals a ton of damage, has small AoE effect. You can carry only 5 (7 after upgrade) rounds.
  4. -- AA cannon. 25mm auto cannon with rate of fire ~350-450 rpm, which shots HE shells. They're bad against armor, but have good AoE effect.

  6. 2nd slot:
  7. -- Dual wielding machine pistols. Now you can stuff enemy with load of lead in true gangsta style. But with really poor accuracy. Every machine pistol has drum mag with capacity of 50 (72 after upgrade) rounds.

  9. 3rd slot:
  10. -- Carried jump pad. You can put it almost on every surface, if you need to jump really high, or maybe push yourself somewhere. Also you can retrieve it.

  12. 4th slot:
  13. -- Laser trip mine. Blow up enemies as if you have a cool orange suit and crowbar. Almost perfect for controlling narrow passages. Also this thing trigger on every moving object so be careful, don't hurt your friends. Also, this mines could be disarmed by you or by your teammates.

  15. ///SCOUT
  16. 1st slot:
  17. -- Battle rifle. High-accuracy semi-automatic rifle. A bit obsolete, and has only 10 rounds in a mag but still it gives you enough punch to kill preatorian easily, if you know where to shoot. Simple and reliable.
  18. -- "Sonic cannon" aka "Devil's DJ table". This fancy thing creates hypersonic wave, which can literally blows apart your enemies (and allies' eardrums) in close distance, and also disorientates enemies which was happy to be a bit farther from you. Sadly, damage drops significantly with a distance. Useless on long ranges.

  20. 2nd slot:
  21. -- Tactical SMG. Submachinegun with laser pointer, holo-sight, tactical grip and extended mag. It deals really poor damage, but has a pretty good accuracy and quite good rate of fire. Also, you can get a tactical beard in the set.

  23. 4th slot:
  24. -- Beacon gun. Shoots permanent orange blinking beacons which also do a soft "boop" sound. And you can see them with your laser pointer. Good thing for pathfinding, or mark something interesting, to not forget.

  26. ///ENGINEER
  27. 1st slot:
  28. -- Laser rifle. Basically this is Hydrogen fluoride laser with 2,7-2,9 μm wave lengh, which small enough for personnel weapon. Also good tool to roast bugs. And ignite them. Also, this thing works in beam mode (it works as long as you hold the trigger), so it emits a lot of heat. Watch for overheat-o-meter.

  30. 2nd slot:
  31. -- Tesla Gun. This thing literally spits lightinig, and allows you to stun multiple enemies, if they're close enough to each other. It deals really poor damage, so you need quite of time to really kill something.

  33. 4th slot:
  34. -- "Pulverizer gun" this thing allows you to pulverize same material which platform gun uses, and, for example, quickly close a really dangerous tunnel with your beloved sponge-like substance. But this thing has a really limited range.

  36. ///DRILLER
  37. 1st slot:
  38. -- "Dragon Breath" shotgun. This is common engineer's shotgun, but equipped with special "dragon breath" rounds. So they can ignite your enemies or fellow dwarwes. Also this one has a cool hot-rod painting.

  40. 2nd slot:
  41. -- Power hammer. High-tech hammer with installed kinetic accelerator, so it can easily crush almost every bug into a mush with one hit. Also, accelerator needs couple of seconds to recharge, so you can't deliver "enforced" punches every time.

  43. Grenade slot:
  44. -- Incenerating grenades. Napalm-filled cuties, which makes bugs panic. And also leave puddle of burning napalm after explosion. Use with caution.
