  1. -Feats-
  2. >Magical Tail
  3. You grow an extra tail that represents your growing magical powers.
  4. Prerequisites: Kitsune, See text
  5. Benefit: You may choose to gain a new spell-like ability, each usable twice per day, from the following list:
  6. 1st and 2nd time: Disguise self, Produce Flame, Faerie Fire, and Charm person
  7. 3rd and 4th times: Misdirection, Invisibility, Levitate, Minor Image
  8. 5th and 6th times: Suggestion, Displacement, Dispel Magic
  9. 7th and 8th times: Confusion, Dominate Person, Dimension Door
  10.
  11. For example, the first time you select this feat, you could choose to gain disguise self 2/day; the second time you select this feat, you could choose to gain charm person 2/day. Your caster level for these spells is equal to your Hit Dice. The DCs for these abilities are Charisma-based.
  12.
  13. Special: You may select this feat up to eight times. Each time you take it, you gain an additional ability as described above depending on how many times you have taken this feat. You may choose to learn a spell-like ability you do not know from an earlier list if you so choose. In addition, the second time you take this feat, and every additional time afterwards, you may instead choose to make one of your known SLA’s into an at-will ability rather than learn an additional Spell Like Ability. The first time you take this alternative option, your Dancing Lights racial Spell-Like Ability also becomes at-will.
  14.
  15. >Foxfire (Su)
  16. Prerequisites: Kitsune, Magical Tail, Produce Flame as an at-will spell-like ability
  17. Benefit: you may choose to upgrade it a second time in order to turn it into Foxfire. This allows you to use Produce Flame as a free action, functioning as though it were Mystic Bolts. Treat this ability as Mystic Bolts for the sake of feat prerequisites and other features. You still use the Damage and Range of Produce Flame for Foxfire, it is always a touch attack, and you do not gain the additional energy types of Mystic Bolts.
  18.
  19. -Kumiho (Vigilante Archetype)-
  20. >Skills: The Kumiho gains Knowledge (Arcane, Nature) and Spellcraft as class skills, but loses Disable Device, Knowledge (Engineering), and Ride.
  21. >Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Kumiho is Proficient with Simple and Martial Weapons, as well as Light Armor. A Kumiho is not proficient with medium or heavy armor, nor any kind of shield.
  22. >Trickster’s Malleable Forms (Su): Transforming into a human to blend in with society, a Kumiho is actually a shapeshifting feral fox with mysterious motivations. While in his vigilante identity, he may change back to his natural state, as the Fox Form feat, though he is usually in an alternative human form with otherworldly features. His social identity is that of an ordinary human, and he applies his disguise bonus from seamless disguise to all checks to appear as an ordinary human while in his social identity, in addition to checks to appear as his current identity.
  23.
  24. At 1st level, and every two levels afterwards, the Kumiho gains the Magical Tail feat, to a maximum of eight times at 15th level. Every time the Kumiho gains this feat, he must select a new spell-like ability. The Kumiho may not select the Magical Tail feat using feats gained from levels. In addition, at 3rd level, and every four levels afterwards up to 15th level, he may choose one of his known spell-like abilities to change from 2/day uses into an at-will ability. The DCs for these abilities are Charisma-based.
  25.
  26. While not in the human form of his social identity, the Kumiho cannot disguise his additional tails through magical means, and has a -6 penalty, plus a cumulative -2 per tail after the second, on all checks to hide his nature. This penalty also applies on checks to appear as an ordinary fox while in Fox Form.
  27.
  28. This replaces the Vigilante Specialization, 8th level Vigilante talent, Unshakeable, Startling Appearance, Frightening Appearance, and Stunning Appearance features, and alters the dual identity feature.
  29.
  30. >Fox’s cantrips (Su): At 3rd level, the Kumiho gains Dancing Lights, Detect Magic, Daze, and Prestidigitation as at-will spell-like abilities. If the Kumiho has Dancing Lights as a Racial spell-like ability, it becomes at-will and he gains Haunted Fey Aspect as an additional at-will spell-like ability. The DCs for these abilities are Charisma-based. This replaces the 3rd level Social Talent.
  31.
  32. >Kumiho’s Wild Magic: At 20th level the Kumiho’s latent magic becomes apparant. The Kumiho gains DR 10/Cold Iron, Immunity to poison, Resist cold and electricity 10, and adds half of his Charisma bonus to his saving throws. The Kumiho also becomes immortal and ceases to age, and does not take penalties to his physical ability scores for advanced age. He may still gain the bonuses to mental ability scores from age. This replaces Vengeance Strike and the 20th level Vigilante Talent.
  33.
  34. >Vigilante Talents
  35. >Mystic Foxfire (Su): The Kumiho has perfected his talents with fire, turning it into a potent Foxfire. He may use Produce Flame as though it were a Warlock’s Mystic Bolts. The Kumiho never gains additional elements, his Mystic Foxfire is always a touch attack, and he still uses the damage and range of the Produce Flame Spell.
  36.
  37. The Kumiho treats his Mystic foxfire as Mystic bolts for the sake of feats, and may select the Mystic Accuracy feat (from Legendary Vigilantes) to use with this talent. He is treated as though he had the Charismatic Caster feat for determining damage gained through Mystic Accuracy. The Kumiho must be at least 4th level and have Produce Flame as an at-will ability in order to take this talent.
  38.
  39. >Overwhelming Foxfire (Su): The Kumiho’s foxfire has become so powerful that he can pierce his foes resistances. He ignores the first 5 fire resistances of any foe struck by his Mystic Foxfire. This effect stacks with other effects that ignore or reduce resistances. At 16th level, he treats immunity to fire as though it were resistance 30 instead. The Kumiho must be at least 6th level and have the Mystic Foxfire talent in order to take this talent.
  40.
  41. >Familiar (Su): The Kumiho gains a familiar, treating his Vigilante level as his effective wizard level for determining effects related to his familiar.
  42.
  43. >Flying Fox (Su): The Kumiho gains the Flight hex, treating his vigilante level as his witch level for determining effects. At 12th level, the Fly spell instead becomes Overland Flight with a duration of one hour per two vigilante levels. These hours do not need to be used consecutively, but must be used in one-hour increments.
  44.
  45. >Versatile Charms (Su): The Kumiho’s charms are extremely versatile. His Charm Person Spell may also function as Charm Animal. At 11th level, he instead treats his Charm Person Spell-Like Ability as though it were Charm Monster, though it still uses the DC of Charm Person.
  46.
  47. >Domineering (Su): The Kumiho lacks respect for the will of others, and adds 1/4th her Kumiho levels (rounded down) to all of his spell-like abilities of the enchantment school.
  48.
  49. >Enhanced Magical Tail (Su): The kumiho may select one of the spell-like abilities from Magical Tail, and calculate its spell level as being half his vigilante level, rather than the spell’s actual level. This does not change any of the spell’s effects, just the effective level of the spell.
  50.
  51. >Expanded Magic (Su): The Kumiho may select an additional known spell-like ability from Magical Tail to make at-will. He may select an additional spell-like ability at 10th level. The Kumiho must be at least 6th level to select this talent. He may select this talent one additional time at 12th level to choose another known spell-like to make at-will, and gaining an additional at-will at 16th.
  52.
  53. >Social Talents
  54. >Kitsune Shifting: The Kumiho becomes more adept at shapeshifting. Each time he takes this talent, they gain one of the following feats: Realistic Likeness, Swift Kitsune Shapeshifter.
