jan 25 20:23:01 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Heroes of our tale now faced with a bigger problem than a bottling plant full of spiders just shrugging off to the cold weather. The nearby slaver faction QTC's outpost could prove problematic to Crimson and her group if left unchecked.

jan 25 20:28:24 *	Screw-Loose ponders the connundrum, her mind flitting between ideas. "We could build ourselves a Death Ray and blow them all up." She muses from where she sits.

jan 25 20:30:31 *	Silky_Shackles chuckles, then brings a hoof idly to the lap of her hat. "They are after the bottlecap machine..." She ponders.

jan 25 20:34:35 <Silky_Shackles>	"Crimson knows more about the region. I'll bring her here." She sets off, going upstairs after the leader of the new plant occupants
jan 25 20:35:34 *	Comet_Blaze frowns, shivering a little bit and moving up towards Silky_Shackles. "I think it might be better if you could convince them to leave. There's not much out here to trade with or for, after all. If their leader's looking for a way to line his own pockets maybe there's somewhere better he could be doing it. Or some way which doesn't involve violence."

jan 25 20:41:01 <Gearhead>	"Maybe. I am just shaken and wish to leave as soon as we can."
jan 25 20:41:26 *	Screw-Loose nods. "Want a hug? It might help some."
jan 25 20:43:30 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Kichaka's soft snores can be heard amongst her pile of bottles she played with earlier.

jan 25 20:50:47 *	Silky_Shackles approaches the group again and nods to Crimson. "As I was saying, we need to know more about the QTC, to find something to move their attentions away from here."
jan 25 20:52:40 *	Comet_Blaze taps her chin and frowns. "I guess we could start by trying to find out what brought them here to begin with..? There's not much here, that town we passed through, which didn't seem too open to trading. Uh. What other settlements might be around?" She looks towards Crimson.
jan 25 20:54:16 *	Screw-Loose looks about, trying not to make eye contact. "I thought you liked it earlier." she says very softly.
jan 25 20:56:06 <Gearhead>	"I..." She stops and thinks.  "Perhaps..." She says the next part softly as well." I enjoyied it only because it was you."
jan 25 20:57:42 *	Screw-Loose blushes, her entire body turning red beneath her fur. Stammering, Screw-Loose doesn't know what to say or think.
jan 25 20:58:09 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Crimson sits down and taps her hoof against the ground. "Well, Bridlefjord is one, but hardly a place which takes strangers with open arms... otherwise? They're pretty far away from Trampleton, or under influence of one of the factions around that place already."

jan 25 21:02:53 *	Screw-Loose shakes her head quickly. "Nothing, nothing." She gives Gearhead a smile and then takes a deep breath. "Want to see the robot I got going?"

jan 25 21:05:59 *	Comet_Blaze frowns. "Are there any trade routes which run near here, that you know of? There was that thief we saw, they must have come from somewhere..." She taps her chin thoughtfully. "Wandering ponies maybe? It can't just be for this place. There's too much stuff here unrelated to guarding or taking a position."
jan 25 21:06:38 *	Gearhead stops and turns. "Well, perhaps we could try to negotiate with them? It seems most logical if the highest seat of power is against us, we try to turn them to our side."

jan 25 21:10:38 <Waak|Overcolt>	 "Well, it's possible the traders that travel between Trampleton and Dawn - that is, a settlement up North - pass here. It's possible that this 'scavenger' was associated with the latter," the red mare shares her information.
jan 25 21:12:11 <Silky_Shackles>	"That would have to be the last measure. The cap machine is necessary for the production, isn't it? " She looks back to Crimson. "Could they move to Dawn?"

jan 25 21:15:21 *	Screw-Loose proudly shows off the protecto pony. "You know these things have a very stupid desgin once you break open the internals."
jan 25 21:15:43 *	Comet_Blaze ponders that, tapping her chin. "Any idea how dangerous the path from Trampleton to Dawn is..? Would it be surprising if ponies went missing, presumed dead, along the way?" She shook her head. "No. I shouldn't think like that. But it does seem likely that they're here because of that trade route... Possibly trying to divert the direction travelers go this way."

jan 25 21:18:25 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Crimson looks up to the ceiling and taps the floor a few times. "Hm, it'd be possible - that is, if the machine could be either put apart and reassembled, or transferred in one or two parts. The latter may work with a railcar..."

jan 25 21:19:17 *	Silky_Shackles frowns, looking at Comet_Blaze . "Not that it was much safer." She gets up. "Actually, that is something that could convince them. They don't spare forces to secure a factory, a whole route would be much more difficult."

jan 25 21:21:14 *	Screw-Loose looks at her with an awed expression. "You had a Stable to study in? LUCKY!"

jan 25 21:25:05 *	Comet_Blaze shakes her head and looks up to Silky_Shackles. "I'm wondering if perhaps our 'friends' at the QTC are preying upon ponies who have lost their surroundings or followers. Individuals who had lost their traveling companions would make easy victims for entrapment or enslavement, after all. Ship them across Equestria to somewhere no pony knows them and no one would be aware they were ever

jan 25 21:27:27 <Gearhead>	"I apologize. Yes, I am from one. in fact, I was expelled from my Stable due to my thinking being more logical than theirs. I proposed we explore the outside, they disagreed and sent me out to explore it myself."

jan 25 21:30:23 *	Silky_Shackles frowns at Comet_Blaze. "That is a very serious accusation, let''s not jump to conclusions." She smirks to Crimson. "Well, our friend at QTC seems to be very bold. I wonder if that would impress his superiors, as he wanted."

jan 25 21:33:20 *	Comet_Blaze contemplates a bit more. "I'm not sure why else they would set up here, though. Even if they knew of the plant, he must have a plan other than to secure it. or else he wouldn't have brought so much trading material as well..."
jan 25 21:34:30 *	Screw-Loose moves next to Gearhead. "So what Stable are you from?"
jan 25 21:34:54 <Gearhead>	"Stable 16."
jan 25 21:35:02 <Gearhead>	"Why do you wish to know?"
jan 25 21:36:19 *	Screw-Loose shrugs. "I want to know about stables and stuff, maybe try and find an abandoned one and make it into a home."
jan 25 21:36:34 *	Silky_Shackles nods. "There is no better way to find out than from the pony himself." She adjusts her hat. "So, shall we go?"
jan 25 21:36:48 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Crimson wonders at the words of Silky. "Huh, he wants to impress the Chief Executive? Like all of them, what I've heard. Dawn is quite far away, though, and there have been raiders up there, so it won't propably be easy to confess the fellow to move from a ripe location."
jan 25 21:38:07 <Gearhead>	"Hmm, I'm not sure you can find a completely abandonded one. unless you mean one without life in it, which is more than possible. Although I remember studying most if not all the Stables were filled."
jan 25 21:40:12 *	Screw-Loose nods, but holds her hoof up. "There is always the chance that equipment will break down and ponies evacuate, there fore if I were to repair some parts it would make a perfect home to live in."

jan 25 21:40:50 <Silky_Shackles>	"If they are afraid of raiders, for once your ponies' looks may be on your side. Not to say we were attacked along the way here. This is a dangerous place~" She smirks.
jan 25 21:43:15 *	Comet_Blaze frowns. "I'd rather not see him again." She shakes her head. "I'm going to stay here and keep on guard. Just to be sure we're not all inside if something goes wrong."

jan 25 21:45:08 <Gearhead>	"I never said it was." She says giving a small giggle. She realizes she giggled and looks surprised. "I... found that rather humorous..."
jan 25 21:46:07 *	Screw-Loose smiles at Gearhead. "Want to help me? It's a large project."
jan 25 21:46:42 *	Silky_Shackles looks through a window. "Is this late already?" She hmpfs. "We should take care of this first thing in the morning, then."

jan 25 21:48:43 <Waak|Overcolt>	 "You're welcome to make your lodgings here - after all, you cleaned it up. And when it comes to tomorrow - hopefully you resolve this matter. Thank you in advance," Crimson exclaim as she stands up and heads upstairs.
jan 25 21:49:38 *	Gearhead hears this and shivers. "I'm afraid I can not stay here." She says. "It disturbs me to remain in this location."
jan 25 21:49:51 <Silky_Shackles>	"It's safe to bring your ponies down here, by the way."
jan 25 21:49:54 *	Comet_Blaze nods her head. "I'll see you all in the morning." Heading back upstairs. Once on the roof she takes brief flight to go purloin herself a small section of cloud from those floating overhead and bring it back down to sleep on. None of that sleeping on soggy mattresses and stuff, thank you very much. Even if it was cold out. She had cold weather clothes for that.

jan 25 21:52:18 <Waak|Overcolt>	 "If you can withstand the cold, you can sleep in a tent of ours instead inside," Crimson offers to Gearhead.
jan 25 21:56:04 *	Silky_Shackles looks up. "I should bring my slaves back in." She trots towards the stairs.

jan 25 21:57:06 *	Screw-Loose moves closer to Gearhead. "You need to sleep, in here is the best. If you want, you could spend the night with me, it would be comforting."
jan 25 21:58:12 <Gearhead>	"I..." she thinks. " I think I will stay near Ms. Loose. She gives me a sense of comfort."

jan 25 22:13:43 *	Silky_Shackles gathers up her slave into an office room and lies by the door, keeping an eye on both of them. "Sleep. We are waking early in the morning." She commands.
jan 25 22:14:28 *	Screw-Loose gets ready to sleep, patting a hoof on the grond to show Gearhead where she should sleep.
jan 25 22:14:55 <Waak|Overcolt>	 The slaves of Silky nod a few times before claiming their own corners where they huddle for the night, trying to find a comfortable position.
jan 25 22:15:14 *	Gearhead sits on that ground, laying down near Screw-Loose.
jan 25 22:16:50 *	Screw-Loose gets a bit closer to Gearhead, then places a hoof around her for a brief hug.
jan 25 22:17:25 *	Gearhead is hugged lightly and doesnt seem to mind it.
jan 25 22:18:27 *	Screw-Loose lets go and drifts off to sleep.

jan 25 22:21:59 <Waak|Overcolt>	 A new day dawns upon the Wastes, with some snow falling from the clouds above. The night was calm, yet cold, but at least our heroes had a good night's sleep.

jan 25 22:25:02 *	Silky_Shackles stretches and gets up. She moves her eyes to where her slaves should be.

jan 25 22:25:44 *	Comet_Blaze awakened with a yawn, crawling out of her cloud bed and stretching a few moments before bundling up tighter and pulling her hood close around her head. The snow falling was a little worrying as she spread her wings to descend back to the top of the building.
jan 25 22:26:17 <Waak|Overcolt>	 The two slaves have huddled together in the same corner during the night, still sleeping.
jan 25 22:29:28 <Waak|Overcolt>	 The sniper on the roof exclaims to the descending Comet and awakening Screw and Gearhead that there's once again two guards at the doorway to the QTC outpost, just to let them know.
jan 25 22:29:44 *	RadscorpionPie yawns, and stretches, climbing out from under her thick bedroll, rubbing at her eyes, as she sticks her tongue out slightly. "Mph. Snow." She murmers to herself. "Go on adventures, see wonderous thin's and blow 'em up..." She stretches. "Hmph. Interestin' times..."

jan 25 22:31:23 *	Screw-Loose gets up and trots over to Gearhead. "Sleep well?
jan 25 22:31:51 *	Comet_Blaze looks off the roof towards the QTC, nodding her head quietly a few moments. Pondering some things. She was still planning to stay here with Crimson's ponies, for the moment.
jan 25 22:31:55 <Gearhead>	"Yes. I got the full amount of sleep for my age."
jan 25 22:32:50 *	Silky_Shackles looks at the slaves with a tinge of sadness, that quickly fades as she places her hat back to her head. She knocks on the door. "Wake up! It's time to get back moving."
jan 25 22:33:58 *	Kichaka rolls over on her back, still snoring. She kicks her leg a couple times, in the throes of a dream.
jan 25 22:34:33 <Waak|Overcolt>	 The stallion wakes up quicker than the mare and assess the situation, quickly standing up and taking a few steps away from the now aware mare.

jan 25 22:35:20 *	Screw-Loose yawns again before her stomach growls. "We need breakfast."
jan 25 22:36:55 <Gearhead>	"I would recmoend we get some then. Doesn't... Our Zebra Group member cook?"
jan 25 22:37:46 *	RadscorpionPie stretches, and proceeds to build up a fire, to reheat some of the omelets she prepaired.
jan 25 22:41:36 *	Silky_Shackles trots out of the office, taking her slaves downstairs with her.
jan 25 22:41:49 *	Screw-Loose nods, then trots over to RadscorpionPie and her wonderful smelling food.

jan 25 22:43:21 *	RadscorpionPie mmms, as she works on breakfast, adding some spices, and making it an overall tasty foodstuffs experience, as she softly hums a little baking ditty.

jan 25 22:49:11 *	RadscorpionPie serves out half-omelets to each of the ponies desiring food, leaving only half an omelet left over for later. "Ya'll're gonna have ta help me find some food, cause stone soup is far from' good, 'specially with no tasty vittles, and I'm here down to so very little."
jan 25 22:50:05 *	Screw-Loose eats the omelette with gusto, her body rejoicing at the food.
jan 25 22:50:58 *	Gearhead shivers from the rhyming but looks to her. "I can... attempt to help you." She eats silently
jan 25 22:51:05 *	Kichaka wakes with a start, bolting upright with a slightly frantic look. She immediately relaxes when she sees the others are still there.
jan 25 22:51:58 <Silky_Shackles>	"I have some supplies, but they won't last much for all of us." She glances at the two slaves. "You may eat." She turns to her own omelette, eating fast, but silently.
jan 25 22:54:14 <Waak|Overcolt>	 The slaves dine with an appetite, clearly needing the breakfast.
jan 25 22:54:17 *	RadscorpionPie nods. "When I set out, I didn't not 'spect so many stomachs ta be feedin'. And mah funds're short, so more we be needin'."
jan 25 22:56:27 *	Gearhead cringes again. "If I spend an overly long amount of time only with you, may I ask as a personal favor not to speak in rhyms?"
jan 25 22:56:46 *	Screw-Loose moves back a bit from the group and pulls out her rifle. Gingerly she opens part of it and checks inside.
jan 25 22:57:34 *	Kichaka yawns and stretches, then wanders her way down to sit by Raddy
jan 25 22:57:43 *	RadscorpionPie sighs. "Ya'll's intollerance is... fine. Ah'll stop rhymin' as long as ya'll stop talkin' shop."
jan 25 22:58:10 *	Silky_Shackles chuckles. "What is the problem, Gearhead? It's not too different from if she just talked to us."
jan 25 22:58:58 <Gearhead>	"I've always had an issue with song and rhyme. It's a personal issue I'd rather not speak about."
jan 25 22:59:24 <Gearhead>	"You may rhyme around others and such, I only meant if it were just you and I."
jan 25 22:59:45 *	Comet_Blaze heads downstairs as she smells breakfast, going to get some for herself, flopping down near the group with a yawn. "Mmmmh. It's way too early and cold to be awake."
jan 25 23:00:41 <RadscorpionPie>	"Mah parents taught me ta be proud of mah heritage, even if they didn' know the firs' thing about raisin' a zebra."
jan 25 23:01:49 <Gearhead>	"My parents... My mother was strict." She says turning back. "She made sure I keep with my studies and followed our Stable's law."
jan 25 23:02:12 *	RadscorpionPie frowns. "Sounds like an annoyin' existence, alright."
jan 25 23:02:56 *	Silky_Shackles looks between Gearhead and RadscorpionPie. "What is wrong about it? "
jan 25 23:03:46 <Gearhead>	"I... would have agreed with you back when I was young. But now.." She sighs. "I still think Logic is an ultimate that must be preserved."
jan 25 23:05:02 <RadscorpionPie>	"Logic is nice, but without heart, it's cold, hard, and cruel. Now friendship, that's gotta be preserved." She finishes her breakfast, and smiles, licking her lips.
jan 25 23:06:36 <Gearhead>	"Companionship is the prefered term from my Stable." She says. "When you feel that you have to abandon your logic for somepony even for a moment, they are your companion." She looks to Screw-Loose. "And I am companions with Ms. Loose here. At least in my mind."
jan 25 23:07:15 *	Screw-Loose closes her rifle with a smile, her morning check done she then blushes at Gearhead's words. "Thank you." she mumbles.

jan 25 23:07:24 <Silky_Shackles>	"Your mother ensured you would be a productive, upstanding mare. Unless there is something else to it." She raises an eyebrow.
jan 25 23:07:55 *	RadscorpionPie smiles, and nods, as she starts to clean up her utensils and such from breakfast, using water from melted snow.
jan 25 23:08:14 <Gearhead>	"Nothing that would be logical to share with most of you." She assumes Silky was speaking to her.
jan 25 23:08:31 *	Comet_Blaze frowns, taking a bite of her breakfast and nomfing it, looking up towards Gearhead. "Logic's just a means to an end. It can't be an end for itself. 's just a way to get to what you want." She nomfs another mouthful. Table manners was something evidently lost on the ex-military pony.
jan 25 23:09:42 *	Gearhead glares at Comet. "It is not just a means to an end! You are looking at logic through that veil of morality and personal gain." She frowns. "Logic is absolute when used by an inteligent mind."
jan 25 23:10:40 <Waak|Overcolt>	 Crimson trots into the room, trying to hold in a yawn, and notices the group assembled together. "Ah, you're awake. And hopefully prepared to have a talk with the QTC fellow." She notices Gearhead giving glares to Comet. "Did I interrupt something?"
jan 25 23:11:38 <Silky_Shackles>	"I see." She stands up. "Gear, Comet, I'd love to stay and discuss the pony nature, but we have matters to take care of." She tips her hat to Crimson.

jan 25 23:12:44 <Gearhead>	"Yes, I apologize for my outburst." She says turning and sighing, mumbling to herself."
jan 25 23:13:35 *	Comet_Blaze frowns and finishes off her breakfast quickly, swallowing the last bites before looking up towards Gear again. "Okay so what's the point of Logic then? What's its purpose? If it's not a means to an end, and is an end unto itself, then why do you pursue it? What does its pursuit matter?" She stands up and stretches a few moments with a yawn.
