- Warrens back-story
- Let me take you readers back all the way to when Warren was around three years old. He lived in a harsh tribe, lower in the ranks and not very friendly. His parents didn’t have the luxury of smaller rooms and easier cheese access, they had to go to the more public rooms filled with cheaters, hackers, and horrible shamans. The rooms often got so crowded that you’d think you’d suffocate if you weren’t careful. Because of these wretched conditions, Warren’s parents weren’t able to get a lot of cheese to help pay for things, or to help feed themselves let alone their young and growing baby boy.
- They realized that they weren’t able to take care of him, and his mother cried and cried for she loved him very much. His father shed tears when others weren’t looking, so as to not make them suffer more. They realized that even if they gave him most of the cheese, it would not be enough for him to survive. So they decided on a plan, and started storing away a little bit of cheese from every gathering. After a few weeks of this they had a nice sized bag of cheese. The father one night said to his son “Remember us when you are older, and forgive us for what we have to do. We will always love you son, I hope that you remember these words.” Of course Warren was only beginning to speak at the time and so many words confused his little brain, but he heard the word love so he giggled and smiled up at his father and mother who just looked down sadly at him, sorrowful smiles on their faces.
- They left their little tribe room and quietly snuck out into the foreboding darkness of night. Warren’s parents were careful not to bring any notice to themselves, no matter how hard it was and they had far to go. His mother held him, close against her chest while the father carried all the food they’d been saving, hiding, those past few weeks. After hours of traveling the trio finally stopped, on the edge of an abandoned map road that was surrounded by many myths. After giving their son one last hug they set him down under one of the trees with the food, and whispered a quiet wish.
- “Protect him.”

- Some days had passed since then, and little Warren wandered throughout the empty lands looking for his parents. He was still very little and didn’t understand what had happened, but he was big enough to know that he needed food so he dragged the big bag (it wasn’t that big but compared to his size it was fairly huge) of cheese around with him as he stumbled around.
- It was the fifth night after his parents left him, and he was exhausted. He curled up in a little hovel, hugging the bag of cheese close to him and sniffled. Where did his mom and dad go? Of course you know exactly where they went but Warren has no clue so it’s really difficult for him because he doesn’t know why they were gone or why he was there. So because of this Warren sniffled and curled up into a tiny little ball of sadness, closing his eyes and heading off to sleep.
- He heard strange voices around him, but he was still so tired, he didn’t want to get up. He noticed that he was up against something soft and warm, and his curiosity began to spread throughout the rest of him. In spite of this he stayed still and listened carefully with his ever twitching ears.
- “Should we keep it? It is rather cute.” A soft and almost musical voice said, and Warren felt his head being nuzzled gently.
- A deeper voice sighed “I’m not sure, it might not survive well with us.” He felt another warm nose gently prodding his arm. He decided to open his eyes, (I’m sure you’re wondering why he can suddenly understand such difficult words without any trouble. Well you’ll find out so be patient) and looked curiously up at two large furry faces. They had almond shaped eyes, and lovely pointed ears, and beautiful long whiskers. They were much larger than him and mice in general, for these beings were of the ancient and rumored cats that dwelt in the forgotten realms of Transformice.
- The cat whose paws and chest Warren laid curled up against smiled warmly down at him. She had large beautiful light blue eyes and smooth gray fur. “It’s awake Gerald, and look at his eyes. They’re so bright. Can’t we keep it? It doesn’t seem to have any family.” The cat sitting next to her looked down at Warren, soft brown eyes looking at him carefully. They began to soften as Gerald understood the situation; the little creature obviously was abandoned and had nowhere else to go. He was small enough now that he wouldn’t need a lot of food, plus his wife was already taken with him.
- He sighed and gently touched his nose to Warren’s “Alright Sarah, alright.”
- (Woops i guess you didn't find out. Well I'll just tell you now, he connects with cats really well and basically can understand everything they're saying. Yeah I don't know how it works either but it's cute right?)
