A morning like many in the NLR

>She rises and idly turns on the radio on the table, tuning in to DJ PON3's stream
>As she prepares for the day, she ponders on the day plans
>Perhaps those Gold Company merchant guys will finally accept that trade agreement. It's a hard bargain for them, but they know they'll want our technology if they want the upper hoof on the market
>Maybe Goldie will have figured the relationship with that new Canterlot Republic by the end of the day
>Cloud and Gloom should be probably back, or perhaps tomorrow, who knows with them really.
>She smirks at the thought, wondering what crazy antics they'll be back with this time. The Wastes never run out of oddities wherever they go
>She looks down by the window, past the forested balconies, past the brand-ew roofs, to find the city waking up and starting their hustle and bustle in the roads
>She can't help but feel proud every time

>It was all worth it
>She thinks back of that day she left her city, hunting for fortune, looking for the hit that would start her carreer as a merchant
>Her gaze sweeps the walls, the houses, the carts, and the ponies, and she can't help but think
>Mom would be proud.
