What's happened in the past 250 years?
So you've just came to /r/TalesofWesteros, you've read the History, and am even considering a character, but there's still one question you have, what in the seven hells has happened in the past two-hundred and fifty years?
Well, to get to the heart of that story, we need to go back to the end of the War of the Five Kings.

**303 AL, February 3rd.**
Aegon Targaryen is coronnated as King of the Seven Kingdoms in the Sept of Baelor, giving him the name "*Aegon Targaryen, the fourth of his name, King of the Andals, Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm." Aegon sends Raven's to most of the lords of Westeros, pardoning the ones who would bend the knee.
**303 AL, February 7th.**

Aegon and Daenerys Targaryen marry in the Sept of Baelor.
**303 AL, May 5th.**

Aegon Targaryen is knighted and annointed. Chooses members of the Small Council.
**303 AL, May 15'th.**
Jon Stark is legitimized, given the choice of surname Stark or Targaryen. Chooses Stark and gifts Daenerys Targaryen Dark Sister. Ravens arrive back at King's Landing. All lords bend the knee. Aegon appoints Tyrion Lannister as Hand of the King.
**303 AL, August 18th.**

The Red Keep is framed and is being rebuilt. Widow's Wail is found in the wreckage. Given to Aegon, of whom, sends a Raven to Gryphyn's Roost, asking if Jon Connington would like Widows Wail. Jon refuses, as he is dire of health.

**303 AL, September 7th.*

Winter ends, A Dream of Spring finally comes true. Red Keep's foundation is built.

**304 AL, January 20th.**

Red Keep is finally rebuilt, with an Iron Throne twice the size of the old. Daenerys reveals to the realm she is pregnant.
**304 AL, October 2nd.**
Daenerys gives birth to a girl, names her Rhaenys.
**The Next Twenty Years.**
The Realm is in a relatively safe position. Daenerys gave birth to two more children, one girl, and one boy. Daenerys is then determined to be mad after attempting to kill one of her children. It is unknown which one it is. Daenerys is put under house arrest, with guards 24/7.
**325 AL, June 2nd.**
Daenerys Targaryen commits suicide at the age of 38.
**401 AL, April 6th.**
The realm has a relative peace to it. Under the reign of Daeron Targaryen, the Kind, a rival Targaryen challenged his claim, leading to the event, "The Dance with Dragons, ^^^Electric ***Boogaloo"
The Dance with Dragons ended when Daeron Targaryen defeated said rival Targaryen on the back of his massive dragon, Daemithor. There, Daeron earned the title, "The Dragon Tamer." Any lords supporting the rival Targaryen's claim were given a pardon.
**425 AL, March 2nd.**

The Greyjoy Rebellion begins.

The rebellion lasted several years, and had three major battles that decided the outcome of the rebellion.

* The Battle of the Riverlands - where the Iron Islanders stormed several villages and then Riverrun itself, leading to a massive defeat.
* The Battle at Lannisport - The Iron Islanders sieged Lannisport with a fleet of ships. The ships are destroyed by the Royal Fleet after Aemon's Brother, Aegon, defeated the iron islanders on land.
* The Battle at Deepwood Motte - the ultimate deciding battle, the Starks sieged Deepwood Motte to fish out the ironborn, sieged it for three months, Ironborn eventually surrendered.
* The battle at Pyke - The fight wasn't long, infact, there was very little bloodshed at all. Baeron bent the knee, but Aemon did not offer amnessy, only giving him "mercy" through a swift death.
The rebellion ended when Aemon Targaryen cut off the head of Baeron Greyjoy.
**Since then, the realm has seena  steady peace.**
