  1. Elanorwen tells you, "So... you thinking of applying for the Vernal spot? Yes, I know this comes randomly out of the blue, heh."
  2.
  3. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "It's not a matter of applying, it's a matter of being nominated."
  4.
  5. Elanorwen tells you, "Aye... but one that has been nominated could choose to speak up and say they have no interest in it, too."
  6.
  7. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "And if the members of the commune in theory give their voice to a nomination for me, I would be honoured to accept. I respect Glomdoring's choice."
  8.
  9. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "Why the sudden questions cousin?"
  10.
  11. Elanorwen tells you, "Just considering my choices. I feel... restless of late."
  12.
  13. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "Restless?"
  14.
  15. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "There is much work within the Glomdoring that needs volunteers, goals to be achieved, perhaps you could direct your focus there?"
  16.
  17. Elanorwen tells you, "I have too much work on my hands as is. it kind of sucks the life out of me."
  18.
  19. Elanorwen tells you, "I took a break for three months... and we had over 50 totems left uncarved during most of that time. Always fun to see things like that happen, for instance."
  20.
  21. Elanorwen tells you, "I am... considering leaving."
  22.
  23. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "You would forsake your vows to the Glomdoring? For what, for where?"
  24.
  25. Elanorwen tells you, "I just feel like I've grown to be... the good old melder that people only remember when the figurative crap hits the figurative whirlwind. I had a few messages complaining about totems being left uncarved, for instance... why me? Sure, I'm a druid, it is part of my job... but why yell at me? I'm not the only one who's supposed to be doing it, for instance."
  26.
  27. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "And where would you go?"
  28.
  29. Elanorwen tells you, "Somewhere without trees, probably."
  30.
  31. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "The cities? I've lived there cousin, I hardly recommend it."
  32.
  33.
  34. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "So why do you talk so much about Ascension if your thoughts lie outside the forest?"
  35.
  36. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "Either you are loyal to the Wyrd and stick to your vows or you do not."
  37.
  38. Elanorwen tells you, "Because there are things that can breathe new life in one, for instance."
  39.
  40.
  41. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "So your continued loyalty would be bought with Ascendancy?"
  42.
  43. You tell Elanorwen Nightshade, "Probably more blunt than you meant it, but you know I don't sugar coat things."
  44.
  45. Elanorwen tells you, "I can't be bought or sold. I am my own person. If I'm having a bad spell, I expect others to pick up at least some of the slack that happened during said time. And I don't see that happening. Do I want to be an ascendant? I think I kind of made myself clear in that regard during the Ascension trials. Do I believe my loyalty should be reliant on whether I am one or not? I think I've proved that so far, no? Just because I feel unhappy and feel that something like that might cheer me up doesn't mean I have stopped being loyal. But eh, that's neither here nor there."
