[13:46] <TenMihara|GM> And eventually everyone has to face the music.

[13:46] <TenMihara|GM> How will the choices of our wastelanders steer their lives?

[13:59] * Rime continues to show Sparky the ropes as she works on VIrgo's little project. It's a good little distraction.
[14:00] * Proverb had finished sighting in her SVD with Sagi, and was now trotting through the halls looking for the bathhouse where the two seaponies that I forgot the names of were.
[14:02] * Missile_Rush watches Rime quietly. Strange, silent pegasus though he might be, you can't say he's not a good listener.
[14:05] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo smiles at Rime. "You're pretty good at this stuff. You'd make a great underling."
[14:06] * Rime smirks. "I'm the fucking best, not sure about 'underling' though."
[14:09] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo raises an eyebrow, "Why not? All of the great scientists have underlings. Frankenstallion and Igmare, for example."
[14:10] * Rime tilts her head. "Who?"
[14:10] <TenMihara|GM> The Collegiate's bathhouse is where it was when Proverb visited before. She makes it there without much difficulty
[14:12] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo raises an eyebrow, "It's from an old book I read. Frankenstallion used science and magic to restore life to some dead guy."
[14:13] * Rime quicks an eyebrow. "And Igmare was like, his smoking hot and smart assistant?"
[14:13] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo shakes her head, "Actually she was like, deformed or something, but he took pity on her and gave her the job when nopony else would."
[14:14] * Razor is very put-off by the smell as she meets with Butcher. "I've got some work! My armor needs fixing."
[14:14] * Proverb steps into the bathhouse, looking around. "Hello?" She calls out.
[14:15] <TenMihara|GM> Proverb can hear giggling and splashing
[14:15] <TenMihara|GM> Butcher nods, "How soon do you need it?"
[14:17] * Proverb giggles, perking her ears up as she trots in. "Pisces, Capricorn?" She calls out.
[14:18] <TenMihara|GM> The giggling stops, "Shit, I think we have company." "Aw man. Talk about a buzzkill." The room is steamy, but the two sea-mares swim up to Proverb. "Oh hey, it's the cute little one. Sup?"
[14:19] * Rime frowns. "Your powers of persuasion are amazing."
[14:19] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo shrugs, "Well, you're not a cripple, but you are an albino. That would be... something."
[14:19] * Proverb waves a wing, giggling. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything~?"
[14:20] * Rime blinks. "Are you saying I'm suitibly genetically defective to be your lackey?"
[14:20] <TenMihara|GM> Pisces rolls her eyes, "You were, but it's not like we don't have lots of time to ourselves as it is. Thankfully we never have to worry about pruning."
[14:21] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo shrugs, "Well, it's not about the genetics or being weak, it's about being different. Being an outcast with nowhere else to turn to, then the mare or stallion of science offers you the chance to become a part of something amazing. Something grand."
[14:21] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo tries to strike a dignified pose. It doesn't work
[14:24] * Rime "Something grand, eh?" She smirks.
[14:24] * Proverb giggles, starting to wiggle out of her armor. "Well, mind if I hang out for a little while?"
[14:25] <TenMihara|GM> Capricorn raises an eyebrow, "Where's the tall mare? You two are usually inseparable."
[14:25] * Rime points back at Missile_Rush. "Maybe you should offer Sparky the job, he's different. Jackass with wings." She stiffles a giggle.
[14:25] * Missile_Rush looks to Rime with a frown. "Must you be so rude?"
[14:25] * Razor simply says, "As soon as possible." She is defintiely /not/ the type to wait around wearing nothing but her own hide.
[14:26] * Proverb droops her ears a little. "Harmony? We, uhm... she doesn't know if she loves me anymore. We went to the Society to get her bounty cleared... and she had... second thoughts abotu her relationship with me..."
[14:27] * Rime smirks back to Missile_Rush. "Yes. It's my shtick. And it's bigger than yours." She can't stop the start of a laughing fit this time.
[14:29] * Missile_Rush sighs at Rime. "Whatever you say."
[14:30] <TenMihara|GM> Butcher nods, "Give it here." He shows a surprising display of dexterity as he brings out a needle and coarse thread.
[14:31] * Rime gets her giggles out of control. "Shit, Sparky, this wouldn't be so worth it if you weren't stiffer than a titanium rod... and that's the first time you've heard that, I'm sure." She chortles, a rather unfeminine snort ripping through the middle of it as she really cracks up.
[14:31] <TenMihara|GM> Pisces nods, "Well, tis better to have love and lost. Come and take a soak with us."
[14:32] <TenMihara|GM> Capricorn nods, "Don't say that, they might still get back together. She's right though, come have a soak. Good for what ails ya."
[14:33] * Razor quickly removes the armor, and gives it to Butcher.
[14:34] * Proverb smiles at the two mares, slipping into the water with a sigh, letting her wings fan out. "Thanks, I just need to get my mind off of things for awhile."
[14:36] <TenMihara|GM> Butcher takes it inside, closing the door behind him. There's sounds of scraping, sawing, and sewing. Not fifteen minutes later, Butcher comes out with a pristine set of Ponyhide armour for Razor, "You're lucky; I happened to have some freshly boiled material available. How's it look?"
[14:38] * Missile_Rush sighs at that, shaking his head at Rime's antics.
[14:38] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo laughs too
[14:39] * Razor takes it in her magic and looks it over, critically. Her armor is very important to her.
[14:39] <TenMihara|GM> Pisces smirks, "Bath is a good place to take your mind off things. Of course, we also do some of our best thinking in here. ANd pretty much our everything else."
[14:39] <TenMihara|GM> Butcher smirks, confident in his work
[14:40] * Proverb giggles, nodding as she floats along the water, using her wings to propell herself. "Yeah, the water feels great too~!"
[14:44] * Razor smirks. "Looks pretty good!"
[14:45] * Rime closes an access panel, her work complete. She also completes her laughing fit.
[14:45] * Logic tussles in his sleep a little bit.
[14:45] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo guffaws a bit, then smirks. "Awesome work."
[14:50] * Rime "Fuckin' A it is. I only do awesome work." She turns with a smirk. She trots over and throws a foreleg over Virgo's withers. "Maybe /you/ should be /my/ Igmare."
[14:51] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo frowns, "I'm the brilliant scientist here; you're the assistant who's more inclined to the heavy lifting and... stuff."
[14:54] * Rime gets a tighter grip around Virgo... which isn't saying much. "Heavy lifting, eh?"
[14:57] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo raises an eyebrow at RIme
[14:57] * Rime smiles. "Do I /really/ look like I'd be good at /heavy lifting/?"
[14:58] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo shrugs.
[15:07] * Rime giggles. "They get good pay though, right? Assistants, I mean."
[15:09] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo raises an eyebrow, "Science is its own reward. That said, the grants can be pretty generous when you need them."
[15:10] <TenMihara|GM> Butcher nods and goes back to his work
[15:10] <TenMihara|GM> Pisces splashes Proverb
[15:11] * Proverb squeaks, splashing Pisces back!
[15:11] <TenMihara|GM> Capricorn uses her tail to throw a sizeable wave at Proverb
[15:13] * Proverb meeps, using her wings to return the favour to both of the seaponies!
[15:14] <TenMihara|GM> The seaponies giggle, but Proverbs little wings are no match for even one of their tails
[15:14] * Rime smiles. "Grants are neat. Maybe I should join like Logic did. Engineering is science too. Right, Virgy?"
[15:15] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo nods, "Well, I suppose it counts."
[15:15] * Proverb giggles as well, spending the time playing and splashing around in the bathhouse with the seaponies while her pilot does IRL stuff for a bit.
[15:18] <TenMihara|GM> Time passes! The next day...
[15:18] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy cuddle up to Green_Field in their room across from Logic, which is likely where Harmony was staying as well.
[15:18] <TenMihara|GM> Rime could have stayed with Virgo and Proverb with the seaponies. Razor has her own room at the arena to chill in
[15:24] * Green_Field wakes up slowly and yawns... ugh, another surgery today.
[15:24] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy cuddles up next to him
[15:26] * Proverb spent the night with Capricorn and Pieces. She yawns, stretching out. "Mmmm..."
[15:31] * Missile_Rush wakes up wherever he is.
[15:32] * Razor is resting up in her room. For the first time in a long time, she doesn't have anywhere she needs to be... it's a strange feeling. Liberating!
[15:32] <TenMihara|GM> Missile_Rush is likely with Rime still, and probably remembers he had a task he was trying to get people to do.
[15:34] * Rime also stirs. She'd crashed with Virgo, resting beside the other science filly after talking about all kinds of explosive, mechanical, and sciencey things late into thenight.
[15:34] * Missile_Rush gently rises from where he lies, donning his gear and gently trotting to Rime. "Rime. Wake up."
[15:35] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo has a room on the first floor of the COllegiate DOrmitory just like the other Zodiacs, two floors down from Harmony, Logic, Green, and Daisy
[15:35] * Rime curls up defensively. She grumbles. "Fuck no..."
[15:35] <TenMihara|GM> The seaponies sleep in the pool.
[15:35] * Missile_Rush crouches down to Rime. "Rime, please. We need to get going."
[15:36] <TicTac|Phone> Proverb slept on a mat on the pool deck.
[15:36] * Rime flails a limb in the general direction of the annoying sound. She grumbles something incoherrent, eyes still closed.
[15:37] * Missile_Rush blinks and shakes his mane as Rime's offending hoof baps against his muzzle. With a soft groan, he sighs. "Rime..."
[15:38] * Logic gets up, this time feeling a bit heavy of limb. He recognized this as the after effects of worry, of a night spent thinking of the what-ifs that may present themselves. Today was a red letter day, for one reason or another.
[15:38] * Green_Field after lying for a bit more, finally gets out of bed and checks his inventory again.
[15:39] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy sits up, yawning loudly and once again making the 'forgot the tongue was temporary' noise.
[15:39] * Rime baps more once she finds something solid. "Noise... stop word making..."
[15:39] * Harmony , having just awoken from her nap, readies herself and wanders, looking for Rime. Might as well busy herself until Logic needs her help for the bug.
[15:41] <TenMihara|GM> Harmony hears Rime complaining from a room down on the first floor, along with Missile's voice
[15:41] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo snores loudly
[15:42] * Logic doesn't want to head straight for the medical bay, but for lack of a better option since he didn't ask Green when he was doing the operation, decided to meander a bit before heading there, taking the long way around.
[15:42] * Harmony trots forward, approaching the room, and peeks in.
[15:42] * Missile_Rush shakes his head as Rime's hoof lands squarely against his forehead. Harmony can see him crouching by Rime, trying to wake her up, and occasionally getting bapped square on the nose for his troubles.
[15:42] * Green_Field smiles an sighs. "I should enjoy seeing you make that face as much as I do." His horn lights and gives her her tongue back.
[15:42] <Green_Field> shouldn't*
[15:43] * Harmony snickers, sitting back onto her haunches. She'll watch.
[15:43] * Rime baps with increasing accuracy. "I'm comfy, go away... and turn that saw off..."
[15:43] * Proverb sits up on the mat she had fallen asleep on, stretching out. "Nnnngh... morning..."
[15:44] <TenMihara|GM> Triage still has the Taintling sedated.
[15:45] * Missile_Rush gets punched in the nose again, and again, as Rime continues to bap with that little hoof of hers, completely oblivious to the fact that Harmony is watching. "Rime, we have a job to do. You need to get up soon."
[15:46] <TenMihara|GM> Virgo remains heavily asleep
[15:46] * Rime rolls just slightly, almost as if complying. Then she adds her other forehoof to the bapping assault. It's like peddling a bike, only with baps to Missile_Rush's face. "G'way... tryin'ta sleep..."
[15:46] <TenMihara|GM> All Rime gets in response is some bubbles, the two seaponies visible snoozing on the bottom of the pool
[15:47] * Proverb thinks that TenMihara|GM meant Proverb there.
[15:47] <TenMihara|GM> He did
[15:48] * Missile_Rush blinks his eyes at every punch. There's one to his nose. Then another to his cheek. And another to his forehead. And - ow! Smack in the eye! He cries out, reeling back as he rubs at his smarting eye with a hoof, only then noticing Harmony there. Blinking the eye that he isn't rubbing, he steps aside and clears his throat. "Erm...some assistance, please?"
[15:48] * Proverb smiles, collecting her gear and slipping into her armor before heading out of the bathhouse. She heads for the cafeteria for breakfast.
[15:50] * Rime keeps peddling air a few moments more before her limbs curl back against her bellt.
[15:50] <Rime> belly*
[15:50] * Harmony chuckles. "I suppose." She steps forward. "Although I admit this has been entertaining to watch."
[15:50] * Harmony moves to Rime's side, careful to not get in range of her peddling little hooves. "Rime," she whispers. "time to wake up."
[15:51] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy pouts and grumps, "Morning to you too."
[15:51] * Rime blinks twice and rolls to her hooves. "Ok, Harmony." She starts to stretch.
[15:52] * Green_Field gives her a peck on the lips. "I'm sorry. At least you can verbally be upset me now though."
[15:52] * Missile_Rush sighs, sitting in a corner away from Rime and Harmony, trying to pick up the pieces of his broken dignity as he rubs at his smarting eye. Ow...
[15:52] * Harmony smiles. "Easier than I thought it would be."
[15:54] * Rime rolls her neck. Falling asleep in her gear gave her quite the crick in the neck. She trots over to Harmony and gives her foreleg a quick nuzzle. "You doing alright?"
[15:54] * Missile_Rush just sighs quietly to himself, still rubbing his eye.
[15:55] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy giggles a bit and kisses back
[15:56] * Proverb sighs softly as she gets herself breakfast, sitting at the table and staring at her food as she ate.
[15:57] * Harmony nods with a smile. "Well enough." She looks over to Missile, then back to Rime. "Although it seems -somepony- made it a little difficult to wake them up."
[15:58] * Rime tilts her head. "Whaddaya mean? I woke right up when you told me to!" She huffs and tilts up her muzzle with a light huff.
[15:58] * Green_Field smiles. "Well, we should go find the others and get something to eat. Another big day today. Gonna need your help with that bug."
[15:59] * Missile_Rush just sits there silently, trying to keep a stiff upper lip as he turns around, trying to look dignified.
[15:59] * Harmony chuckles. "When I told you to, yes. But when Missile Rush told you to, you found bapping him with your hooves to be the best course."
[16:00] * Rime blinks, looking confused. "I don't know what you're talking about."
[16:00] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy nods and salutes Green_Field, then follows him
[16:01] * Missile_Rush is silent. Yes. Maybe silence is the best course, brought low by a filly's hoof like that. Ow. His eye still hurt.
[16:03] * Harmony shrugs. "Then never you mind. I believe Missile wished to speak with you?"
[16:10] * Green_Field chuckles and after getting all of is things together, leads her out and to the cafeteria, locking the door behind them.
[16:11] * Proverb is sitting at a table by herself, eating some cereal. She doesn't notice Green_Field or Diasy enter yet.
[16:13] * Green_Field smiles and heads over to Proverb. "Good morning, Proverb, how's your chest feel?"
[16:13] <TenMihara|GM> Green_Field and Daisy spy Proverb eating by herself
[16:13] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy seats herself as well (oops)
[16:13] * Missile_Rush still sits a ways from Harmony and Rime, his stiff demeanor and expression laced with a sentiment that can only be described as "grumpiness". He says nothing just yet.
[16:14] * Rime looks over to Missile_Rush and back to Harmony. "He does?" She looks back to the grumpy stallion.
[16:14] * Logic stares at the door to the medical center. It looked back at him.
[16:15] * Proverb looks up from her meal, smiling a little at Daisy and Green_Field. "Feels great!" She replies, her ears perking up just a little.
[16:16] * Harmony raises an eyebrow at Missile_Rush. "Do you not? You had a reason for wanting her awake, yes?"
[16:17] * Green_Field grins. "Told you you'd be fine."
[16:17] * Missile_Rush looks to Harmony and Rime. "I did. For the both of you, as a matter of fact." He turns to face them directly. "We need to get going soon. We still have a job to do."
[16:17] * Proverb nods to Green_Field. "Yeah, heh..." She takes another bite of her cereal. "Didn't sleep so well though..."
[16:18] * Rime thinks a moment. "Oh yeah, that thing for... what happened to your eye?"
[16:18] * Green_Field takes a bite of his own. "Still worried about Harmony?"
[16:19] * Razor decides to head out and check today's matches. Her first day to herself in ages, she might as well make it an exciting one!
[16:19] * Proverb nods to Green_Field. "Yeah... and... I don't sleep as well without her there... I've gotten used to her snuggling..."
[16:20] <Missile_Rush> "That," the pegasus replies to Rime, a touch of bitterness marking his calm tone, "was your flailing hoof. I was trying to wake you up, but it seems your hoof had an irresitiable attraction to my eye socket."
[16:20] <Missile_Rush> *irresistible
[16:20] * Rime blinks a few times. "I don't remember that."
[16:21] * Harmony chuckles. "That is what I was referring to, Rime."
[16:22] * Missile_Rush sighs. "At any rate, we need to get going as soon as possible." To Rime and Harmony, he asks. "Have either of you eaten yet?"
[16:22] <TenMihara|GM> On the bill for today is Rampage and Psychoshy, and apparently a wood-chipper is involved somehow. As well, Trapjaw (ranked 9) is being challenged by the 11th seed.
[16:22] * Rime shakes her head. "Nope, didn't happen." She takes a few steps toward the door. She turns at the mention of food. "No, I haven't eaten. I just woke up."
[16:23] * Harmony shakes her head. "Neither have I."
[16:24] * Missile_Rush nods to both. "Then come along. Let's get ourselves some breakfast."
[16:24] * Missile_Rush proceeds to trot onwards to the cafeteria.
[16:26] * Harmony trottrottrots behind Missile!
[16:27] * Rime thinks walking is for those without better ways of locomotion. She scrabbles up onto Harmony's back.
[16:27] * Harmony slows so that Rime can do so, then catches up with Missile.
[16:27] <TenMihara|GM> Missile, Harmony and Rime spot Green, Daisy and Proverb
[16:27] * Proverb is sitting with Green_Field and Daisy. She's quietly eating her cereal, ears drooped as she ate, eye focused on her food. She doesn't notice Harmony, Missile_Rush, or Rime enter yet.
[16:27] <TenMihara|GM> In the cafeteria
[16:28] * Missile_Rush trottrottrots to the cafeteria, looking to Green_Field, Daisy, and Proverb. Nodding, he leads Rime and Harmony to a seat. "Anything in particular that you want?"
[16:29] * Rime hasn't hopped off yet. "Nothing particular."
[16:31] * Razor is a little curious what the first match is about. That just seems... strange. She definitely wants to see it.
[16:32] * Razor wouldn't want to miss a Rampage match anyway, but the strangeness just makes it more appealing.
[16:33] * Missile_Rush nods, leaving Rime and Harmony as he goes off to get food for the three of them. He goes to see what the cafeteria is serving.
[16:33] * Harmony moves towards a seat, lowering herself so that Rime may hop off.
[16:34] * Rime hops off Harmony's back into the seat beside her.
[16:36] <Green_Field> "Well, at least we got your heart fixed... your physical one anyway."
[16:37] * Harmony nods to Green, Daisy, and Proverb as she sits. "Good morning."
[16:38] * Proverb simply nods to Green_Field, looking up as Harmony sits down across from her. "Uhm... g-good morning Harmony." She replies softly.
[16:42] * Green_Field smiles at Harmony and Rime as they sit. "Sleep well?"
[16:42] * Missile_Rush waited to hear an answer from harmony before trottrottrotting off.
[16:42] <Missile_Rush> *Harmony
[16:43] * Harmony shrugs. "Well enough."
[16:43] * Harmony responded the same way Rime did to Missile.
[16:43] * Rime smiles to Green_Field. "Good enough. Fell asleep in my armor and my neck is all.." She cockes her forelegs at odd angles, tilts her head weird, and sticks out her tongue. She twitches her eye for added effect.
[16:44] * Green_Field looks at Rime. "I can fix that, if you'd like."
[16:45] * Rime smiles. "Really?"
[16:46] * Missile_Rush returns with three servings of pre-war food, bringing one for Rime and another for Harmony and another for himself.
[16:46] * Proverb sits ackwardly across from Harmony, fidgeting. "S-So, uhm, wh-what's the, th-the p-p-plan for today?" She asks quietly, almost in a whisper.
[16:47] * Green_Field gets up and stands behind Rime. He puts his hooves on either side of her head and turns it down and to the right. "Just relax."
[16:47] * Harmony shrugs and thanks Missile_Rush, taking a bite of the food offered. "I believe Missile_Rush has a job to do. Rime and I were planning on assisting."
[16:48] * Rime lets herself relax as Green_Field puts hooves on her.
[16:48] * Proverb looks over to Missile_Rush. "Wh-what's the, th-the job?"
[16:49] * Green_Field suddenly jerks her head up and to the left, popping her neck joints.
[16:50] * Missile_Rush speaks, nodding in agreement. "I believe I explained the job already. Does anypony need a recap?" He looks to Proverb. ""Our task is to locate two items. The first is a data file by the name of..." He checks a scrap of paper on which he has scrawled a hoofwritten note. "MAS-CYBDR-101013. It is located in an old Ministry of Arcane Sciences hub in Hoofington. Didn't I tell you about this?"
[16:52] * Proverb blinks. "O-Oh yeah! I r-remeber you saying something about that. Uhm... I'd l-like to go, if that's a-alright."
[16:52] * Rime 's eyes go a bit wide as her neck pops. Her head lolls forward a bit.
[16:53] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb. "Something tells me we'll need a sniper." He turns to the others. "At any rate, our next task is to locate a single Pipbuck broadcaster peripheral, located at any Stable-Tec facility in Hoofington. For retrieving those items and bringing them within a week, the payoff is five thousand caps."
[16:53] <TenMihara|GM> Razor is tapped on the shoulder as she looks at the playbill
[16:53] * Missile_Rush adds. "By now, though, we have under 6 days left."
[16:54] * Razor turns to look at who it is.
[16:54] * Rime rolls her head around. "Heh... that worked..."
[16:54] * Proverb nods to Missile_Rush, perking up slightly. "W-Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get the others a-and head out."
[16:54] * Green_Field chuckles and returns to his seat. "You're welcome, Rime."
[16:55] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy takes her food and nods to Missile as she digs in
[16:55] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb, before looking to the others. "How about everypony else? Are we ready to move out?"
[16:55] <TenMihara|GM> X is looking over Razor's Shoulder, then motions for her to follow with a hoof.
[16:55] * Rime shakes her head. "We gotta get the bug's brain zapped, and we gotta get Razor. Balls, I should fucking be there. I said I'd be at the Arena today."
[16:55] * Harmony nods, finishing her meal. "After I assist Logic, then yes."
[16:56] <TenMihara|GM> Logic, after his circumnavigating, finds Triage snoozing and the Taintling still sedated on an operating table
[16:56] * Razor is curious. She glances back at the list for a moment... then follows.
[16:56] * Logic sits in front of the door. His stomach felt tied in knots, face pale with anxiety.
[16:57] * Green_Field nods. "Kid wants me to cut its brain open."

[16:58] * Harmony nods to Rime. "Once you are ready, shall we go find Logic? He can teleport you to the arena, and then him and I may continue with the bug."
[16:58] <TenMihara|GM> Triage snorts a bit and yawns as she wakes up. She looks to Logic, "Sup kid?"
[16:59] * Proverb sighs softly, nodding to Missile_Rush. "I'll be waiting with Missile I suppose..."
[17:00] * Logic doesn't really respond to that. He looks worried, eyes a bit twitchy, mouth tightly closed.
[17:00] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb, waiting quietly.
[17:02] <TenMihara|GM> Triage rolls her eye at Logic, "You need to lighten up a bit."
[17:04] <TenMihara|GM> Triage notes, "Like I told that teeny mare yesterday."
[17:05] * Rime quickly down her meal, nodding to Harmony. "Sounds good." She finishes her drink and waits for Harmony to stand to scrabble on up.
[17:06] * Harmony stands, waiting for Rime to hop on.
[17:06] * Rime does so with haste!
[17:11] * Green_Field finishes his own breakfast and stands. "Going to find Logic now?"
[17:12] * Logic considered this, although the physical repercussions of that was subtle. He really didn't know why he was so worried, although the churning in his gut wasn't stopping anytime soon. Yes, he knew he could just pick up another one. Yes, other options existed to get their approval. Yes, it would suck if this turned out badly, and it wouldn't reflect badly on him if they made it braindead, just...
[17:12] * Logic ...on them. He figured what was scary was that this project that he had worked so hard on, the fate of it at least, was now out of his hooves. If he were honest, he would just admit that he was worried this road to his cutie mark would once again have to take a detour if it did go badly, plus there was this feeling that he'd put a lot of himself into this work.
[17:13] * Rime nods from Harmony's back. "I think so, right, Harmony?"
[17:14] * Harmony nods. "Yes, would you like to join us?"
[17:15] <Green_Field> "Well, I should considering he needs me to work on its brain."
[17:18] * Harmony nods and begins to trot for Logic's room.
[17:19] * Green_Field follows her. "Take as long as you need to eat, Daisy. We'll start when you get there."
[17:20] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy finishes up her meal and follows Green. She didn't have that much more to eat than he did.
[17:21] * Proverb remains at the table as the others depart, looking at Missile_Rush. "S-So... what now...?"
[17:21] * Missile_Rush looks to Proverb, observing her in silence before he speaks. "Do I frighten you?"
[17:21] * Proverb shakes her head at Missile_Rush. "N-No... why would you?"
[17:25] * Missile_Rush answers Proverb. "You're stuttering. That's why I'm asking."
[17:25] <TenMihara|GM> Triage looks to Logic, "So, you got a lot of your hopes riding on this bug thing, huh? Your big break?"
[17:26] * Logic looks aside, then gives a small shrug. "Guess so."
[17:26] <TenMihara|GM> Triage nods, "Well, I'll do my best."
[17:26] * Proverb shrugs at Missile_Rush. "Oh... I, I guess that's because I'm... sad."
[17:27] * Missile_Rush lifts a brow at Proverb's self-assessment. "Sad?"
[17:28] <TenMihara|GM> Harmony and Green_Field find Logic's room empty
[17:28] * Harmony frowns. "So... shall we head to the operation room, Rime?"
[17:28] * Proverb nods. "Harmony doesn't know if she loves me anymore..." She replies to Missile_Rush.
[17:29] * Missile_Rush looks to Proverb. "Why do you say that?"
[17:29] <Proverb> "Because that's what she told me... after we got back from the Society."
[17:30] * Rime rolls onto her back and hangs her neck over Harmony's shoulder. She looks up at her. "Probably the best bet."
[17:30] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb. "I can see why that would be upsetting." He looks off to the side. "And what about you? How do you feel about her?"
[17:31] <Proverb> "I love her... I love her so much." She replies to Missile_Rush quietly, sniffing. "A-And now... while my heart might be fixed... it's s-still broken."
[17:31] <TenMihara|GM> X leads Razor to a Skybox. At the moment, there's nopony else there. "Did you have a good sleep?" she asks
[17:32] * Missile_Rush nods. That was a cheesy line, but Proverb got the point across nicely. He speaks softly, head still turned to the side. "Tell me. How much do you know about gardening?"
[17:33] * Proverb blinks at Missile_Rush. "G-Gardening?"
[17:33] * Razor gives an odd look. "You don't have to check up on me so much, you know! ...I'm not a filly anymore."
[17:33] * Harmony nods and trottrottrots for the operating room, trying to find Logic!
[17:34] * Green_Field trotrottrots while following!
[17:35] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb. "Gardening. When a plant grows, to keep it healthy, one must sometimes cut parts of it away. Sometimes it's heartbreaking. You might need to cut away at a pretty bud, for instance, where a beautiful flower might have grown. But then time goes on, and you'll find that not one but two blossoms take its place."
[17:37] * Proverb sniffs. "I've cut away too many..." She replies to Missile_Rush. "My mom, dad, all of my friends from the Enclave. I've l-lost everyone I've ever cared for... and I can't loose Harmy too..."
[17:37] <TenMihara|GM> X chuckles, "I was just checking. It has been a while. Anyways, I figured you could use a better seat for the next match if you were interested in watching."
[17:38] * Missile_Rush looks to Proverb. "I know that. I'm not saying that you haven't cut away at a lot. And I'm not trying to compare a pony to a plant. No, us ponies live much longer than plants, and that means we see much more, experience much more, love much more. And yes, we lose much more, too. But think of it this way. [17:40] * Logic is sitting in front, talking to Triage!
[17:40] * Proverb just sinks into her seat, burying her face into her hooves. "I d-don't want t-to cut Harmony away..."
[17:41] * Harmony approaches Logic, but remains silent, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.
[17:41] * Rime hops of Harmony's back and trots over to Logic. She nuzzles cheeks.
[17:42] <TenMihara|GM> Triage looks to Logic, "So, your friends are here. We gonna do this thing? And don't sweat it. If he can fix a teeny little heart valve, I think he can handle a brain."
[17:42] * Missile_Rush sighs at Proverb. "I didn't say that you should. I'm saying that you can't wallow in your own misery because of it. Tell me, is this what she would want to see? Whether or not she loves you, how do you think she'd feel to see you in such a state? And if you love her so much, can you put her through that?"
[17:42] * Razor grins. "Sounds fun. What was that about, anyway? It's uh... strange."
[17:43] * Logic frowns, then nods in approval. "Do it." He said in a quiet, hesitant voice, nuzzling Rime lightly.
[17:44] * Proverb sniffs, blinking up at Missile_Rush. "N-No... I..." She sighs. "I can't let her s-see me like this..." She wipes her eye, perking up a little, smiling a small bit.
[17:44] * Rime leans against Logic. "You gonna stand here through the whole thing, or is there an observation place we should move to?"
[17:45] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb. "You're stronger than that. You'll need to be. For her, and for yourself."
[17:45] * Logic shakes his head. "I don't want to be near here. Do you have somewhere else to go?"
[17:46] * Proverb smiles a bit more, nodding as she sits up, gathering her things. "Yeah, I had fun yesterday... I can do the same today."
[17:47] <TenMihara|GM> Triage looks to Green_Field and Daisy. "Shall we?"
[17:47] * Rime shrugs. "We could go find Razor while they cut. Or we could just find a quiet place to relax until they are ready to use the machine. Don't really need to strain your horn, I guess. Whatever you think."
[17:47] * Green_Field starts prepping again. "May as well get on it."
[17:48] * Missile_Rush nods to Proverb. "Good to know you've got your spirits up. So what are you going to do now?"
[17:49] * Logic frowns, rubbing his hoof on the floor back and forth. "I need to work on something. Take my mind off of things. Do you have any suggestions?"
[17:49] * Proverb shrugs at Missile_Rush. "Dunno~!" She giggles a little.
[17:50] <TenMihara|GM> X smirks, "Well, it's some bet between Psycho and Rampage."
[17:51] * Missile_Rush looks to Proverb. "Well, I know you've been enjoying the company of those seaponies from earlier. Perhaps you'd like to pay them a visit?"
[17:53] <TenMihara|GM> X notes to Razor, "Apparently Rampage is gonna jump into the woodchipper. If she comes out okay at the end, she gets to feed Psycho through it. I think. Not gonna complain about it; Psychoshy is a total cunt."
[17:53] * Green_Field casts clean on the area and gets out all the needed tools. He also pulls out the folder with the procedure in it. "Daisy I'll need to to help me with flipping through this stuff too."
[17:54] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy nods. Flipping through paper was something she did a lot before she could talk.
[17:58] * Rime smiles to Logic. "Yes I do, lets go back to your room."
[17:59] * Logic cradles his head as he starts heading for his room. "Thanks." He mutters back.
[18:00] * Razor is pretty stunned. "Wow... that's some bet. I've uh..." She pauses. "I've seen Rampage... get back up. Even I wouldn't take that bet."
[18:00] * Rime follows behind Logic until they make it to his room.
[18:01] <TenMihara|GM> X nods, "I wouldn't bet against Rampage either, but if she can't regenerate from this, Psycho gets her spot."
[18:01] * Green_Field begins the procedure with Triage and Daisy when they're all ready.
[18:03] <TicTac|Phone> Provy giggles. "You gonna come too? "
[18:03] * Missile_Rush shakes his head at Proverb. "I'll be staying here."
[18:03] * Rime smiles at Logic when they get to his room. "You just lay down, I think you need another massage to work all that stress out.
[18:06] * Harmony finds a seat in the operation room.
[18:06] <TicTac|Phone> "Aww, why not? "
[18:08] * Logic mumbles a little as he got on the bed. "... You think this is going to work, right?"
[18:08] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy performs her page flipping and tool handing duties expertly, while Triage drops a couple things due to poor depth perception. However, all told, Green manages to carefully sever and remove the malignancy in the Taintling's brain and patch it back up. Magic makes things like that a lot easier.
[18:09] * Green_Field finishes up and casts clean once more to make sure. "That'll do it."
[18:10] * Missile_Rush replies to Proverb. "Because I have other things to take care of."
[18:10] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling remains unconscious. It twitches a bit, alive
[18:10] * Rime smiles at Logic as she jumps up onto the bed and brings her hooves to his back. "Gauran-damn-teed. We rocked this bitch."
[18:12] <TicTac|Phone> "Like what? "
[18:13] * Razor just shakes her head. "There's no way. But it'll be something worth watching, at least."
[18:15] * Missile_Rush looks to Proverb. "My own business. No go on, I'll come later."
[18:15] * Logic can feel the fur on his withers. They're slightly raised. He wondered how long it's been like that. "You think?"
[18:17] <Missile_Rush> *Now go on
[18:19] <TicTac|Phone> Proverb nods to Missile "Okay! " She gallops off to the Bathhouse
[18:22] * Missile_Rush sighs, sitting where he is, waiting for the others in silence. After a while, he takes his flute, turning it in his hooves as he begins to play a soft, melancholy tune.
[18:25] * Green_Field smiles at Daisy and nods at Triage. "Another successful operation. Nicely done."
[18:29] <TenMihara|GM> Triage smiles, "Glad you caught that thing after I dropped it. I was a bit worried I'd have screwed the whole thing up."
[18:30] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy smiles proudly
[18:31] <Green_Field> "Just years of practice is all. It got done all right, that's the important part."
[18:31] <TenMihara|GM> Triage nods, "I'll keep it sedated until you get the kid and the mare back."
[18:41] * Rime|L continues a meticulous massage for her over-stressed coltfriend, working her hooves across Logic's back.
[18:43] * Green_Field smiles at Kyrria/me nods. Better go find him so that it's no longer his problem. "Come on Daisy, let's track him down."
[18:50] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy smiles and follows Green_Field back to Logic's room, which is accross from the one they had used
[18:52] * Green_Field knocks on Logic's door.
[18:54] * Rime|L gives a singsong "It's O~pen". She doens't stop her ministrations.
[18:56] * Green_Field opens the door. "Done with the bug. He's back to being your problem."
[18:58] * Harmony remains in the operating room, waiting for Logic to need her help with the bug!
[18:59] * Rime|L gives Logic a little peck on the back of his head and hops off the bed. "Lets mindfuck a bug."
[19:25] <TenMihara|GM> X nods to Razor and then goes quiet as Switchpost enters the skybox. "Oh hey guys. What's going on?"
[19:37] * Logic scrunchfaces, then picks himself up. His stomach was filled with radmoths. "Right. Let's do it, then."
[19:37] * Rime|L walks beside Logic, letting her side press against his for emotional support.
[19:37] * Logic quietly meanders to the bug.
[19:38] <TenMihara|GM> The bug is still unconscious on the operating table, but breathing and twitching a bit
[19:41] * Harmony stands by for when Logic needs her!
[19:42] * Razor takes a spot to watch. She's grinning pretty wide. "This is gonna be good. You got any bets?"
[19:45] * Green_Field leads Daisy to the cafeteria again for some lunch. "You did very well again, Daisy."
[19:47] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy blushes a bit and smiles
[19:48] <TenMihara|GM> Switchpost smirks, "Never bet against Rampage. Unless You're betting -on- Big Daddy. Although I guess it depends what kind of bet it's for."
[19:48] * Rime|L brings her muzzle to Logic's ear. "We got this."
[19:52] * Logic breathes heavily for a moment. Right. Rime's right. He gets the gear ready swiftly, working vigilantly on getting the program up and going.
[19:53] * Green_Field smiles back and sits down for another meal with Daisy.
[19:54] <TenMihara|GM> The bug begins to twitch a bit more as the sedatives wear off.
[19:54] * Razor doesn't stop grinning. "Ha! Got that right. I don't know why Shy is thinking!"
[19:55] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy smiles and digs in, feeling a bit more ravenous
[19:56] <TenMihara|GM> Switchpost smirks, then moves up to the microphone. "Fillies and gentlecolts. We have a bit of an unusal challenge for you today. Psychoshy wants to put Rampage the Indestructible to the ultimate test!"
[20:01] <TenMihara|GM> There's a roar of noise from the crowd as Rampage pushes a woodchipper into the middle of the field. Psychoshy, clad in a quartet of power-hooves, simply watches.
[20:15] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling opens its compound eyes and stares at Logic.
[20:17] * Rime|L keeps her grenade rifle, loaded with honeycomb, pointed at the thing.
[20:17] * Logic gets the terminal up. Yup. That should work. His hooves are shaky as he puts the decanter-recollector on it's head. And he quietly, hopefully, initializes the program.
[20:17] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling attempts to stand, wobbling a bit. It seems less... coordinated.
[20:18] * Green_Field eats with Daisy. "You know, maybe we should get a job here after we finish up helping the others. We're doing pretty well here so far."
[20:18] <TenMihara|GM> The Taintling goes stiff as the program starts up, unexpectedly... stuff in its head.
[20:22] * Logic makes sure it gently lies down with his telekinesis. He then stands above it, focuses, then proceeds to hack into it's head. For the second time for this thing's day.
[20:26] <TenMihara|GM> Inside the Taintling's head is... a bit of a mess. The loud, screaming voice is absent, but it almost looks like a puzzle with all the pieces jumbled up. Each piece, curiously, seems to look like a hexagonal section of insect hive.
[20:30] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy tilts her head, "What about Thweet Heart and danthing?"
[20:32] * Green_Field taps his horn. "Ever since Logic taught me that spell, I can take us there and back whenever we want or need."
[20:34] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy nods, "That ith true
[20:36] <Logic> 's mental representation blinks in confusion. This was not a library. Mental metaphors are a hard thing to figure out. What could be it's representation for memories? He tried to figure out what was changing, what must be scanning itself.
[20:37] <TenMihara|GM> Logic can see, floating amidst the 'comb' are hexagonal tiles containing images, sounds, names, places, and other bits of data. They seem to be made to fit into the comb sockets.
[20:38] * Logic goes through the memories, scanning for connections between being a changeling and being... Well. The bug.
[20:40] <TenMihara|GM> Without the voice giving a constant presence, the place is a total mess. However, Logic can, gradually, spot bits of tile that seem to match. Names with faces, times and places.
[20:44] * Logic attempts go around it's mind, picking up and gathering the tile. He was hoping to spare it these memories, at least until it asked for it back, because... Well, if he was suddenly not himself, he wasn't sure he'd want to remember what did it, or what he did while being someone else's meatpuppet.
[20:47] <TenMihara|GM> The memories of pre and post-tainting become clear as Logic goes on. The ones post-tainting seem to have a sinister rainbow glint to them.
[20:50] * Logic also kinda looks for a name because when it woke up, it would kinda be awkward to not know it.
[20:51] <TenMihara|GM> Logic stumbles across one name that seems to be correlated strongly with memories of sense of self. 'Shifter'
[20:53] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy looks to Green_Field, "Why do you want another job?"
[20:56] * Green_Field pauses a moment. "I've... just been thinking about what's best for you. What's best for us."
[20:56] * Logic rolls his metaphorical eyes. He should've guessed. He continued to pick up the sinister rainbow pieces, and when he's done or sick of picking them up, either one or the other, inspected it for if something seemed wrong, like a recursive loop of logic or a tainted belief.
[20:56] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy tilts her head at Green_Field, "Oh?"
[20:58] <TenMihara|GM> The tainted pieces all have that thundering voice in them, as well as that rainbow sheen. There doesn't seem to be a way to separate it's post tainting memories from the taint that caused them
[20:58] <TenMihara|GM> However, if Logic were to simply leave them out of place, they wouldn't contibute to the 'big picture' of the puzzle.
[21:00] * Logic wanted to do neither. He had a plan. He was just going to take them out altogether.
[21:00] * Green_Field nods. "Going from group to group always in danger was fine when it was just me an a bottle, but you need a safer environment. And besides, I've found what I was looking for. I found you." He smiles warmly at her.
[21:02] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy blushes.
[21:04] * Rime|L wanders over to Harmony, resting against her while Logic is lost in his spell. She keeps her rifle nearby, but it doesn't look like it's going to be coming to very soon.
[21:04] * Harmony wraps a foreleg around Rime.
[21:05] * Green_Field nuzzles Daisy. "We have time to think things over at any rate."
[21:09] <TenMihara|GM> Diasy nods and nuzzles Green_Field
[21:09] * Rime|L takes comfort in Harmony's hug.
[21:11] * Logic looks for anything else that would cause further problems.
[21:14] <TenMihara|GM> Logic seems to have gotten everything back in order that can be fixed.
[21:24] * Logic thinks on for a moment, then sighed. Right. Let's see how this works. He leaves, and takes the rainbow tinted memories with him. Back in meatspace, he seemed to levitate a big rainbow ball out of it's head. He was panting with the effort.
[21:24] * Rime|L hugs onto the leg that is hugging her. All this magic brain stuff is weird.
[21:32] * Logic looks around. "Give me a thing you don't care about!"
[21:33] * Rime|L pulls an old rusty horseshoe out of her bag and hoofs it to Logic
[21:33] <TenMihara|GM> Rampage just smirks at Psychoshy and approaches the woodchipper, turning it one with a thunderous churring.
[21:33] * Logic floats the orb of light into the rusty horseshoe. "Okay. /Nobody/ magically touch that thing."
[21:34] * Logic nods, sighing a breath of relief. "You'll be there for a long, long time."
[21:35] * Razor watches, her full attention on Rampage.
[21:36] <TenMihara|GM> Switchpost announces, "Alright folks, this is gonna get grizzly. Anyone who's faint of heart... probably wouldn't be here in the first place. Do it!"
[21:37] <TenMihara|GM> Rampage smirks and jumps right into the thing. There's a Gawdawful noise.
[21:41] * Logic looks at the bug. "Their name is Shifter."
[21:42] * Rime|L gets her rifle at the ready
[21:43] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling seems to fade back into the realm of conciousness slowly, and is wobbly on its hooves. "Wh..." It looks around, "Where the hell am I?"
[21:45] * Rime|L points her grenade rifle right in its face. "Somewhere that's willing to be nice if you are."
[21:48] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling jumps back, dropping defensively, "Who are you?" It trips over its own legs and falls down, looking comical; "Wh-what the fuck?"
[21:48] * Harmony raises an eyebrow, watching the taintling. Just in case, she readies her own rifle.
[21:48] * Logic stares at it. And instead of your normal disgust, he felt a hint of pride. Yeah, he wasn't out of the woods, but he felt as if he was on the home stretch. And it wasn't that he spent years putting it together, it's that he felt as if this were right to do. And then he paused on that thought for a while. He shook his head of that. "Take it easy. You're not yourself just yet." He pauses, then...
[21:48] * Logic ...ruminates on the fact that it was more itself than it was for a long time. "Green, could you give it a lookover?"
[21:49] * Rime|L lowers her weapon. "Shit. You aren't in any danger if you aren't going to be a danger."
[21:49] * Logic wonders if Green is even in the room. Right. He looks at Shifter. "Stop. Who are you?"
[21:50] * Harmony lowers her rifle.
[21:55] * Razor watches in interest. It's quite a show, and she wouldn't miss it.
[21:57] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter blinks. "I asked you first pony. Why do I feel wierd?"
[21:58] <TenMihara|GM> There's a terrible, earrending noise as, while bits of shredded Rampage meat are thrown out the far end of the chipper. It stalls and chokes on something, then forces through a large wad of pulped pony.
[22:03] * Logic shakes his head. "You misunderstand my intention. That wasn't an interruption, that was a response."
[22:03] * Razor never takes her eyes off the sight in the arena. She /knows/ nothing can kill Rampage. But... there's that little bit of doubt, upon seeing that.
[22:05] * Logic continues. "My answer to you much depends on how you answer that question."
[22:05] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter blinks, "The hell are you talking about? Where am I, and why am I here?"
[22:06] * Logic sighs. Right, time to do some thinking on what this place was. "You are at the Hoofington University, and you've had a lot of physical and psychological trauma inflicted on you. Now can you tell me if you remember your name?"
[22:08] <TenMihara|GM> The Taintling blinks, then offers. "Shifter. Now who are you?"
[22:08] * Rime|L grins. "He isn't refering to himself as 'This One', that's good... right?"
[22:09] <TenMihara|GM> The taintling looks at Rime, "What does that mean?" He looks to Logic, "What kind of trauma?"
[22:10] * Logic sighs in relief. "Logic Gates. Best fucking hacker in Hoofington." He pauses. "I'm... Really trying to let you down gently after all you've been through." It's hard to do for someone as blunt as him. "Please tell me the last thing you remember."
[22:14] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter looks suspicious, but recounts. "I remember..." he screws up his face. "I remember the Queen summoning us, her favoured consorts, after having investigated an accident some of the diggers had. They had been working on an expansion to accomodate a new clutch and then..." he frowns. "There was me, Feelers, Poly, and Diff. Things... get kinda fuzzy after that. I don't remember what it was she had found."
[22:15] * Rime|L quirks her brow. "You know Feelers?"
[22:18] * Logic frowns. "You've..." He tried to figure out how to express the gentlest way to let him down. This was not his talent. He looked at Harmony pleadingly. "The Queen found something bad, and we're trying to fix what happened to you. You... Haven't been yourself for a long time. Please remain calm."
[22:20] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter frowns, "Where are the others? What happened to the Queen?" it demands
[22:21] <TenMihara|GM> As Razor watches, There's a glowing comeing from within Rampage's meat and guts. Out pops a filly-sized miniature of the reaper. She grims and strikes a pose, very good at hiding how much that hurt. "Tadah!"
[22:21] <TenMihara|GM> Psychoshy's jaw drops
[22:25] * Razor grins like a filly on her birthday! "Ha! I knew she'd make it out alright!"
[22:25] * Harmony looks to Shifter sympathetically. "You will see Feelers in time. As for the others... possibly." She clears her throat. "There is no way to move around this topic lightly. Your Queen, from what we can tell, has been controlling you all. She has bent your minds to her will for her own goals for some time now." Harmony moves closer, placing a hoof on his shoulder.
[22:26] <Harmony>  "We, though, are going to help you all. Like we have helped you regain your wits, we may be able to assist your brothers and sisters."
[22:26] * Logic frowns. Blunt force it is, then. "Your Queen's been fucked in the mind by what I suspect is a highly mutagenic substance colloquially known as 'taint'. You've been exposed to it. Feelers got away before she exposed it to others."
[22:27] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter backs away from Harmony, "The Queen is mother to many of us, and ruler to the others. Why wouldn't we serve her?"
[22:28] * Harmony raises an eyebrow. "Subservience is vastly different to enslavement. Would you not wish to have the choice to serve; even if the answer is yes?"
[22:28] * Harmony questions, "And what of those that might say no? Do they not have that right to go about their own life?"
[22:28] * Logic frowns. "You've been mutated and survived. Most don't do the latter. I suspect she's been doing it to your entire hive."
[22:30] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter looks at Harmony, "What do you mean?" He looks at Logic, aghast, "What?!"
[22:32] * Logic frowns. "Taint has very mind-damaging properties. It took a lot of effort to get you back to your normal, pre-exposure mental self." He looks off. "I suspect whoever your queen was, she is no longer."
[22:34] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter attempts to look menacing, but ends up falling over himself again. "The hell..." He stops and just stares at his hooves for a bit. "I'm... bigger?"
[22:36] * Logic sighs, then nods. "I'll show you to a mirror once you promise me that you'll remain calm and nonviolent."
[22:38] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter was on the verge of hyperventilating. "You expect me to remain calm when you just told me my Queen is lost to me, my family and I are some sort of mutated monstrocities, AND you just went screwing around inside my head?!"
[22:41] * Logic looks very incredulous, as if he'd been dreading bringing this up. "Stop. If I were concerned with having you as anything but what you actually are, you wouldn't be having this breakdown right now."
[22:43] * Harmony adds, "Logic has found a way to help you, and possibly help the others of your Hive. You have lost much and it is jarring, yes, and we are trying to help you gain some of it back. That is why we ask you to calm yourself." She smiles. "So that we may help you."
[22:44] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter frowns. "And why should I trust your intentions, given what you've just told me?"
[22:44] * Harmony looks to Logic. "Do you have enough in you to take him to Feelers?"
[22:46] * Logic frowns. "I've just spent a lot of energy on a lot of spells. If I do so, that's it for me for the day." And then he stares at Shifter. "You can trust my intentions because you aren't currently a mind slave to me. Am I clear?"
[22:49] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter blinks, "What?"
[22:51] * Logic sighs. "If I were really trying to win you over and let you do my bidding or whatever, I would've just altered your memories to feature me or put in a mental meme to follow my directions. You've done neither. What's that tell you?"
[22:57] <TenMihara|GM> Shifter frowns. "It tells me you're the first face I can remeber outside my hive, and that you haven't tried to kill me actively. Yet. However, my doubts aside, I need answers, and yours are just raising more questions. I need to see Feelers if, as you say, he's alright."
[22:59] * Logic sighs. Whatever. "I'll be back in a minute. Sit tight, don't go anywhere." Poof. To the front of the Stadium to see Feelers!
