  1. Equestria is a safe, peaceful land that lives in harmony with its brethren. Things are not always perfect, but we get by thanks to the power of friendship and good will. At least, we did, until a year ago. Four seasons have passed since ponies from other worlds started appearing. Certainly, many of them have fit in perfectly amongst Equestrian life and have joined us in our ways with little problem. Far more troublesome, though, is those who don't agree with our calm way of life and seek to disrupt it. Those ponies, those dragons, those felines... they wish to ruin Equestria starting with Ponyville and spreading outward.
  2.
  3. We first saw it with the Overlord Zetta, whose first act of arriving in the land was to declare war on the princesses. Now, he speaks regularly with all three princesses; not on terms of friendship, but something more illicit. There are whispers of Princess Luna whispering the name "Carl" to him in manners that suggest a loving nickname; something said when foals are not to watch. He is not a friend of Equestria, but nonetheless he is kept under the hooves of the princesses. More damningly, he was only the first.

  5. It has only gotten worse since - many of you still remember when the life of Nemo Vantas was taken, and when Celestia gave his murderer a full pardon into the custody of the very lands he tainted with his foul act. In fact, since those days, the words "pony commune" have associated with them the names of changelings, murderers, and hate crimes, all affronts to the very pony way of life.
  6.
  7. What have the princesses done? Nothing at all. They have allowed it. In fact, Princess Luna herself (or an offworld double) has expanded the offworld influence within Ponyville, giving them a market "free of discrimination". I took a look at her guidelines - the words "regardless of native or offworlder status" show up several times, almost to the point of redundancy. Our princesses wish for us to treat the invading offworlders as equals, regardless of their prior actions. The question is: why?
  8.
  9. If you are confused, worry not - I was, as well, until Celestia carelessly allowed an evil doppleganger of herself into Equestria, only to arrive back on the scene after her double's defeat by a largely offworld presence. Shortly after that, Equestria was sent spiralling into a chaotic human invasion. The offworlders and those like them openly rejoyced at their newfound bodies, only to blatantly disregard the lives of those who took them in, helped them in their time of need. Suddenly being human again was far more important than maintaining the harmony they had started to reach only weeks before.
  10.
  11. After all, why would they need to pay thanks? They were simply biding their time. That is why Luna's "Night Market" exists - it is a place to gather those offworlders so that the princesses may use them to invade other worlds, to turn Equestria into a land of war. Why else would the princesses pardon those who openly admit to committing acts of genocide, why would they look the other way when those who believe in the Equestrian way are slaughtered? We've already witnessed their first "tests": a fog bearing wave upon wave of evil spirits literally from our own nightmares. The invasion of then-changeling-queen Chrysalis, who was beaten back and replaced with an offworld changeling more willing to conform to the will of the Sisters. Now? A twisted mockery of Celestia themselves.

  13. The chaotic energy that shot from Canterlot to the Everfree Forest, sending us into a week and a half of "human" chaos was no accident, it was a reward to the loyal armies of the sisters.
  14.
  15. What caused the Sisters to behave in such a radically different way? Some say the answer rests deep underneath Canterlot's Royal Library. It was the dungeons that lurk there that have granted offworld ponies such overwhelming supernatural powers, it was those dungeons that gave Celestia the mirror she shattered to bring forth that reign of chaos. Certainly, those dungeons were also where Queen Chrysalis gained the strength for her invasion, but it may have been too little, too late. The changeling queen has been replaced with a kindler, gentler changeling, and the Sisters have removed one of their most potent adversaries and further outfitted the offworld forces in one fell swoop.
  16.
  17. What is there to be done? Our only option at this point is nonviolent resistance. Stand up to the offworlders and say that you will not bend to their whims any more. Let the princesses know that we want our OLD Equestria back. It's certainly hard to say what is in store for our land at this point, but one thing is for certain: "The Pale Pony" is little more than a boogeyman the offworlders want you to believe in. I have seen this pale horse and her flank bears the same sun we've bowed under for thousands of years.
  18.
  19. The newponies are not our friends. To allow them into our homes is to put ourselves and our foals in the most grave of danger.
