13:04	pastelSunrise	PS: I'm ready when you are.
13:04	DM	The program asks both of you to enter the handles of your client / server respectively.

13:05	DM	Both of your computer screens change.
13:05	DM	For Allinn it looks as if the application just exits out.
13:06	DM	For Quinn your view changes to one of Allinn's hive. A complicated UI accompanies your new perspective.
13:06	chummyChef	CC: weird! it wok-ed me out of the game
13:06	DM	Allinn, please describe your hive for us.
13:09	chummyChef	What you see is an incredibly cluttered bedroom. Most available surface space is covered in shells of assorted sizes and shapes. The walls are covered in what you notice to be your own paintings, printed out and put up on the walls. A simple, hammock-like recuperacoon is hung between two corners of the room. There is a bathroom next to the bedroom,
13:09	chummyChef	 and a flight of stairs leading down from the tower to the rest of her hive, which consist of a kitchen and a stable that has part of a stream running through it. There appears to be some sort of white horse monster in there. The entire place looks to be made of dark grey stone.
13:10	pastelSunrise	PS: Woah!
13:10	pastelSunrise	PS: Allinn, is this your home?
13:11	chummyChef	CC: yeah! you should be able to see me right?
13:11	chummyChef	She gives a little wave in a random direction.
13:11	pastelSunrise	PS: I see you!
13:11	pastelSunrise	PS: This is so cool!
13:12	pastelSunrise	PS: Are those the pictures of my paintings I sent you?
13:12	chummyChef	CC: yeah! i thought they were so pretty i printed them trout!
13:12	chummyChef	CC: i hope you don't mind
13:12	pastelSunrise	PS: Aw! That's sweet!
13:12	pastelSunrise	PS: Of course I don't mind.
13:13	chummyChef	CC: hooray!
13:13	pastelSunrise	PS: What am I supposed to do now?
13:13	pastelSunrise	PS: This menu is pretty complicated.
13:13	chummyChef	CC: okay so let's get crackling! i think you have to put some machines down?
13:14	chummyChef	CC: um, i think the first one is kinda a big square? with a tuber on top?
13:14		pastelSunrise navigates searches the UI for the "machines" Allinn's talking about.
13:14	DM	It's called 'Deploy.'
13:14	chummyChef	CC: it was pretty big, maybe plate it in the yard by the creek?
13:14	DM	There are three strange looking machines, along with a captcha card with holes punched into it.
13:14		pastelSunrise deploys the captcha card next to Allinn
13:15	chummyChef	CC: woah! that's leeky! it just appeared!
13:15	chummyChef	She picks up the card.
13:16		pastelSunrise deploys the box-like machine next, outside but close to the house
13:16	chummyChef	Allinn then moves down the stairs to the entrance of her hive and looks around.
13:16	chummyChef	CC: there it is!
13:16	DM	There's a loud thump as it falls to the ground.
13:17		pastelSunrise begins to look for places to put the other machines
13:17	DM	It's followed by the sound of an even louder explosion outside.
13:17	chummyChef	She moves to turn the wheel attached to the outside of the machine.
13:17	DM	Roll Strength.
13:17	chummyChef	She is stopped by the explosion sound.
13:17	pastelSunrise	PS: What was that?
13:18	chummyChef	She immediately remembers what happened to Aciode's hive and continues, hurrying.
13:18	DM	You hear another, louder this time.
13:18	chummyChef	!roll 1d20+2

13:19		pastelSunrise quickly places the other box-like machine next to the first
13:19	DM	The wheel turns rather easily, and several cylinders cascade out of the top of the machine, followed by a strange circular thing.
13:20	chummyChef	CC: oh bamboo shoots okay i remember this
13:20	pastelSunrise	PS: Remember what?
13:20	pastelSunrise	PS: What you have to do next?
13:21	chummyChef	She quickly grabs a cylinder and decaptchlogues her Giant Golden Pearl, throwing it into the glowing sphere.
13:21	chummyChef	Ingredients: Sand, saliva, time
13:21	DM	Roll Dex.
13:21	chummyChef	CC: I need to shape this can thingy?
13:21	chummyChef	!roll 1d20+1

13:22	chummyChef	CC: and put something in the orb
13:22	DM	You stumble and the pearl lands a few feet away from it.
13:22	chummyChef	CC: fork!
13:22		pastelSunrise clears out a small area for the third machine (Totem Lathe) inside Allinn's hive and places it down
13:22	chummyChef	She moves to grab it again and gently lob it into the orb, closer this time.
13:23	DM	Roll Dexterity.

13:24	DM	The orb dodges out of the way. It doesn't seem to like the pearl.
13:25	chummyChef	CC: oh, come on! take something you crumb circle!
13:26	pastelSunrise	PS: It doesn't want it, I think.
13:26	pastelSunrise	PS: Maybe try something else?
13:26	chummyChef	She grabs a snailshell of the ground and tries to lob it in instead.
13:26	DM	Roll Dex.
13:27	chummyChef	!roll 1d20+1

13:27	DM	The shell hits the orb and there is a blinding flash of light.
13:28	chummyChef	CC: whoah!
13:28	DM	The orb has transformed into a floating snail.
13:28	chummyChef	CC: huh, okay i guess!
13:28	pastelSunrise	PS: Is that supposed to happen?
13:29	chummyChef	CC: it did with aciode, he prototyped something dumb though.
13:51	pastelSunrise	PS: What did he prototype?
13:51	chummyChef	CC: his crumb music thing
13:52	pastelSunrise	PS: That doesn't sound any more silly to me than a snail shell.
13:52	chummyChef	CC: it made really weird noises and he's lame so by proxy so is the music!
13:53	chummyChef	CC: he's just so... infuriating!
13:53	pastelSunrise	PS: Why?
13:53	pastelSunrise	PS: Wait.
13:53	pastelSunrise	PS: How about we talked about this later?
13:53	chummyChef	CC: i'll tell you more about it once we finish thish... its just.... garnish!
13:53	pastelSunrise	PS: Those explosions are getting closer.
13:53	chummyChef	CC: okay!
13:53	chummyChef	CC: where's the carvey thingy?
13:53	pastelSunrise	PS: I put it in your hive.
13:54	pastelSunrise	PS: I had to move some of your things, though, so I hope you don't mind.
13:55	chummyChef	Allinn rushes inside, placing the can-like object in the totem lathe, and places the card in the slot.
13:55	chummyChef	CC: it's okay! i can move them around later!
13:55	chummyChef	Allinn presses what looks to be the button that starts the machine
13:57	DM	The machine carves the cylinder into a strange shape reminiscent of the one created by Aciode.
13:59	chummyChef	She grabs the odd shape.
13:59	chummyChef	CC: and now the fig flat looking one with the design on it?
14:00	pastelSunrise	PS: It's outside already.
14:00	chummyChef	CC: thanks!
14:00	chummyChef	Allinn rushes outside, placing the totem in the appropriate slot.
14:01	chummyChef	She activates the machine.
14:01	DM	A red laser briefly scans over the object.
14:02	DM	A purple candle and book of matches appear in the center of the large platform.
14:03	chummyChef	Allinn quickly steps up to the platform, grabbing the matches first and striking one until it lights.
14:04	DM	The match breaks.
14:04	DM	A loud explosion can be heard far too close for comfort.
14:04	chummyChef	CC: yikes!
14:04	chummyChef	She tries to light the second match in the same manner.
4:05	DM	This one, too, breaks.
14:05	chummyChef	CC: fork
14:05	pastelSunrise	PS: Allinn...
14:05	DM	There is another explosion that sounds like it came from the other side of your hive.
14:05	pastelSunrise	PS: Those sounds are getting closer.
14:06	chummyChef	Allinn grabs both the matchbook and the candle and runs inside, starting up her stove to try and light the match with the flames from that.
14:06	DM	The match does not catch the flame.
14:06	chummyChef	CC: FORK!!
14:07	chummyChef	She strikes the next match, desperation beginning to kick in.
14:07	DM	There are sparks, but the match fails to light all the way.
14:08	DM	You hear an explosion from the exact position you were just standing outside.
14:08		pastelSunrise looks at what's causing the explosions
14:08	chummyChef	Allinn swiftly moves to the next match, hoping that she hasn't worn down the strip yet.
14:08	DM	Meteors are raining down from the sky.
14:09	DM	There are more sparks this time, but you still break it.
14:10	chummyChef	Allinn throws it down, moving to the next one. She tries to get the proper balance between the strength needed to light it with the softness needed not to break it.
14:11	DM	The match lights briefly but quickly goes out.
14:12	chummyChef	She attempts to replicate the last attempt, trying to protect whatever flame she can get.
14:13	DM	The match lasts longer, but still only for a few seconds.
14:14	chummyChef	She gains confidence under the pressure, a few seconds should be enough to get the candle lit if she's quick. She tries again, moving the match directly to the wick after striking it.
14:15	DM	The match finally lights. This time it doesn't go out immediately and starts burning steadily.
14:15	chummyChef	She holds it to the wick of the candle, quietly murmuring encouragement to the candle.
14:16	chummyChef	CC: please please please work
14:16	DM	The flame catches immediately.
14:17	DM	Once the wick lights, the fire expands faster and faster. Within a second it's as large as your head. Another, and it's almost as big as you are.
14:17	DM	The fire envelopes you, and the light drowns out everything else in sight.
