  1. Vajhlajma lifted herself up into an unexpectedly cozy spot, tucked in between the lower crypt and the upper crypt. It was a spot which came highlight recommended by her compatriots, who were certain that its ease of access and comfy view made it the superior spot in the long lines of occupied burial chamber walls. She was not entirely certain, cracking open a book and lying back, holding the book to the old stone ledge where her neighbor rested eternally.
  2.
  3. "You're doing it wrong." came a dry voice, from one of the possessed skeletons. She huffed, bristling with pride and burying deeper into her book.
  4.
  5. "Fjor, you're being an asshole again." came a voice from under her, the light rattling which accompanied the voice made certain it was Borli, another Nord skeleton.
  6.
  7. "So I'm an asshole for being, what, helpful? Who reads in the crypt?" Fjor huffed dryly above her.
  8.
  9. "No. You're an asshole for being an asshole." Borli replied. The two skeletons were engrossed in an intense conversation. Vajh growled as another comment flew over her head.
  10.
  11. "Can you two please calm down?" she hissed, burying her nose in her book. An awkward silence accompanied her into the peaceful moments, when a sudden sound, like a falling of rain, found a scatter of bones from the last skeleton spread across the floor.
  12.
  13. "Fjor started it." Borli started bluntly, folding his arms with a dry crack. Vajh put her head in her hand.
  14.
  15. Another crumbling sound as bones scattered about on stone. An intruder. Vajhlajma uncomfortably crawled out of her precarious position in the crypt, looking down the hallway at an oncoming firelight.
  16.
  17. "Ugh. Adventurers." came the voice of Fjor, before she could speak.
  18. "Who could even get out of bed in the morning, thinking about this?" said Borli.
  19.
  20. Vajhlajma raised her hands, a faint purple light showing.
  21. "Can we not be so judgemental? Please?" she spoke, rolling her eyes. The nearing adventurer was lifted off his feet in front of her.
  22.
  23. "You never know when the next Skeleton you meet is going to be the one." she explained, ripping the bones out of his body. A pile of wet flesh and torch hit the floor suddenly, completely deprived of all life.
  24.
  25. The bones came together behind his viewpoint, assembling.
  26. "Hello, bones. Who are you?' she asked simply. The answers she got far exceeded her confusion.
