1 My uncle is large.
- He is 6’3” and weighs 300 pounds.
- His shirts are XXX Large
- He has to lean down to go through most doors.
- He can touch the ceiling easily.
2 My boss has a beautiful house.
- The garden is huge and has over ten different flower species.
- His main room is 22 square meters.
- She has a theater and game room in her house.
- There is a golf course.
3 Our public library is nice.
- It’s very modern.
- It has comfortable chairs and sofas.
- It has a playground for kids.
- It has three stories of books.
4 The inside of the taxicab is dirty.
- There’s a lot of old food inside.
- The right front seat has a large stain on it.
- It has mud inside.
- There is a lot of dust outside.
- The left front carpet has many holes.
5 The student cafeteria is noisy and crowded.
- There are forty people eating breakfast.
- There is loud music playing.

p. 116 - This paragraph about the lounge is super boring. Rewrite it with some more specific and descriptive language to make it more interesting.
During last month’s college tour, I was very impressed with the student lounge at the dorm. The lounge was quite spacious. Many students can use it and move around easily. In the center, there were three luxurious, comfortable white couches.  To the left, there was a pool table under a light. Students can enjoy a game between studying. The lounge had a clean, well-organized kitchen. Students can cook delicious food there. Next to the kitchen, there was a long table where 12 or 14 people can sit to eat. There was a large new TV and a tidy study area with comfortable chairs. The student lounge was really beautiful and I’m sure I will enjoy using it.
