- Stable Neutron Degenerate Matter: Material with a density of about 10^14 g/cm^3
- Stable Electron Degenerate Matter: Material with a density of about 10^7 g/cm^3
- Exotic Matter: Matter with negative mass.
- Programmable Brain: Arbitrarily shaped or sized matter which remains a programmable computer in any shape. (Alternative: Grey Goo, material of this type which can grow/replicate by consuming matter of the same type that it is made of)
- Energium: Storable material which can be turned into pure energy by some process. Extra fun if it can some how run away and turn an entire planet into a miniature supernova.
- Strange Matter: A Fundamental Physics version of grey goo. Matter that will convert any other matter into strange matter. There is no defense against this and all materials are affected by this.
- Regulator Matter: A wall that can protect against strange matter.
