  1. Chapter starts off with Yamada basically thinking about the two things she can't get out of her head - Kase's "ex-girlfriend" aka the senpai she taught running to, and the fact that Kase will be going to Tokyo if she gets her scholarship. The problem is compounded when Yamada finds out from Mikawa that the senpai is currently at the same college that Kase will be going to... This results in Yamada kind of avoiding Kase, and also spacing out during their physical education class, and she ends up getting hit on the face with a ball. Kase is about to carry her to the nurse's room but Yamada refuses and gets Mikawa to go with her instead. Kase looks unhappy (I'm guessing she got jealous), grabs Yamada's hand and brings her to the rooftop instead.

  3. At the rooftop, Kase asks Yamada why she's been avoiding her. Yamada tears up and Kase asks if it's about her going to Tokyo, and Yamada says it isn't before her nose starts bleeding again. As she lies down to recover, Yamada jokes that this situation (her getting nosebleeds) seems to keep happening. Kase says it's alright and leans over to kiss her. As they're kissing, Yamada realises that Kase is tearing up. Kase looks away and tells Yamada not to look at her. Kase says that she doesn't want to be separated from Yamada too, and asks Yamada not to neglect her. Kase tells Yamada that before, she felt that it was unbearable (not too sure what she's referring to, possibly the idea of being apart from Yamada) and spoke to her coach about giving up the scholarship. It ended up being a big thing because Kase's coaches held a meeting and she got called to the principal's office. Kase says that she really wants to be with Yamada while crying...

  5. Yamada then hugs Kase (they were both kind of sitting, so Yamada is essentially hugging Kase to her chest). Yamada apologises and wishes Kase good luck for the scholarship. She tells Kase that even if Kase went to Tokyo, she would still always be her girlfriend, and that they could use Line and calls to talk, and that she could go over to Tokyo during their vacations. Kase thanks Yamada and says that she's relieved, and makes to kiss Yamada. But Yamada's nose starts bleeding again and she tells Kase it's not a good idea because she'll get Kase's clothes dirty. Kase's (awesome) response is to remove her shirt so they kiss while Kase is just in her bra and track pants... As they kiss, Kase asks if Yamada would be her girlfriend always...

  7. There's a time skip, and it's the day that Kase will be going to Tokyo for her entrance exam for the Tokyo college. As they chat in the school grounds, Kase notices that the courtyard looks slightly different. Yamada explains that as some of the music clubs will be performing in the courtyard, she removed some of the flowers and plants in the area. Kase tells Yamada that even though Yamada always says that she (Kase) is amazing, for Kase, Yamada is the amazing one. Kase then asks why Yamada put down a local arts/literature college as her first choice. Yamada is about to reply when Kase's phone rings, leaving Yamada to wonder why she put that as her first choice. Then she overhears Kase mentioning her senpai's name on the phone, and Kase explains that the senpai will be picking up her from the station in Tokyo, and that she's a really nice person. She then waves bye to Yamada and leaves the school.

  9. As Kase walks away, Yamada notes that the sunset that day was unusually beautiful. As she continues raking some leaves, she realises that it's turning dark and that she should probably head home soon. As she looks at the school, she thinks about how the school feels quiet and empty when Kase isn't there, and wonders whether she will keep feeling this way after she becomes a college student. Yamada recalls Kase's earlier words about how she felt that Yamada was the amazing one, and thinks about how she's not amazing at all, as she drops her rake and starts running, while thinking about whether it would always feel like night if Kase was away in Tokyo. As she runs to the bus stop, she also recalls what Kase said about the senpai...

  11. At the shinkansen station, Kase is speaking to her teacher/coach and is shocked when she notices Yamada running towards her. Yamada has tears in her eyes as she calls out to Kase and shouts that she was going too - she really did want to go to a Tokyo university after all. She kind of barrels into Kase as the train door closes, and they land inside the train with Yamada on top of Kase. Yamada hugs Kase as she cries that if Kase wasn't around, there would be no meaning in her remaining in the area, and that she definitely couldn't take it if Kase wasn't around.
  12.
  13. Kase then notices Yamada clutching something, and asks what it is. Yamada opens it - it's a train ticket, but only to the next stop. At the same time, there's an announcement welcoming passengers onboard the shinkansen and the next few stops. (I'm not sure what is happening here - either Yamada only got the cheapest ticket to go to the next stop on the shinkansen, or she had bought an ordinary subway/train ticket but accidentally got on the shinkansen. But in any case it's an unexpected mistake.)
  14.
  15. Both Kase and Yamada laugh about it, and Kase tells Yamada not to shake (or tempt?) her, as she's about to take her exam! The chapter ends off with the line that on the day the two of them decided to go to Tokyo together, the sky was full of stars.
