[19:11] <TenMihara|GM>  In the wasteland, the only friend you can ever hope to have is a loaded weapon
[19:11] <TenMihara|GM>  In the times before the war and the apocalypse and the wasteland, maybe friendship counted for something, but not anymore
[19:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Still, once in a while, by some miracle or another, friendship does crop up.
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Most of the time, it turns out to be a ruse or a means to an end, but on occasion, it can be something more
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  What does friendship mean to our group of wastelanders? I guess we'll find out...
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  *****Session Begins*****
[19:14] * Missile_Rush has reached the guards' outpost. He examines the exterior, looking for a way in.
[19:14] <TenMihara|GM>  As we rejoin the group, Missile_Rush is at the constabulary looking to supplement his weaponry and armour, while Jake_Juice takes an afternoon constitutional with Doc Silver. Razor was deprived the view of the hanky pankying, while The Batmare remains on watch. Purple_Kay had just finished telling a guard what little he knew of Doc
[19:14] * Purple_Kay trots doggedly up to the clinic. With a quick knock he lets himself in.
[19:15] * Razor doesn't really have friends. She's been alone for a long time, and before that, the only pony in the world who cared about her was her own mother. So it surprises her greatly that the strange stallion has taken to her, and is actually trying to look out for her!
[19:17] * Razor has tried to think of what kind of motives he might have, but she really has no idea.
[19:17] * The_Batmare watches the day from her rooftop perch to see what mishceif the locals have gotten themselves into.
[19:17] * Purple_Kay looks around the clinic for the first time when not dead tired or hauling a busted up Razor around. He studies the room clinically, maybe there is something here he can fix and get a bit knocked off their debt.
[19:18] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare can spot Doc being led over to Mixers by Caprice
[19:18] * Jake_Juice is uh... you know.
[19:19] * The_Batmare notices this and does not act. She had no reason currently to question the judgement of the local authorities.
[19:19] <TenMihara|GM>  As Missile_Rish enters the constabulary, he can see Double Tap and the other guards engaged in a card game. The scarred mare groans and points Double Tap at Missile, who gets up; "Can we help you?"
[19:20] * Missile_Rush nods. "Yes, I have some answers that need answering."
[19:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap tilts his head; "Typically questions need answer, but I catch yer drift."
[19:21] * Purple_Kay ears perk up as a loud moan distracts him from his search. He looks over to Razor, who is definately not the one moaning. He quirks an eyebrow inquisitively.
[19:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice and Doc Silver eventually finish up, and emerge from the back room. The doctor looks satisfied.
[19:23] * Missile_Rush /did/ say "questions", but he continues nonetheless. "For one, I need directions to Chapel."
[19:25] * Jake_Juice looks pretty satisfied too as he comes out with Doc Silver, pressing into the mare's side and escorting her back into the main room. "Well... I hope we can do this again sometime soon Doc Silver... I know I had a good time." he smiles.
[19:26] * Razor glances toward Jake_Juice and the doc as they re-enter the main room. She's grinning slightly. She calls out, a bit louder than necessary, "So how was he?"
[19:26] <TenMihara|GM>  The guard nods and directs MIssile_Rush to a map of The Hoof, recently drawn by the looks of it. Major locations indicated are the 'Egghead's' University, the Reaper Stadium, Chapel, Megamart, Flank, Stable 90, Stable 99.
[19:27] * Purple_Kay contemplates the situation. This probably isn't the best time for introductions... Oh, that's right, with Razor around tact isn't something he needs to worry about. "Hey, Buddy. You're Bats' buddy from before, right?"
[19:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Two locations stand out, drawn in red and marked as 'Avoid at all costs'. These are the Hoofington Core, and the Piers to the north, where the HMS Luna and HMS Celestia are moored. 'Ranger Territory'
[19:28] * Missile_Rush makes a mental note of the map and nods, briefly reflecting on how useful a Pipbuck might be for a time like this. He turns to Double Tap once more and nods. "I was also wondering where I might invest in either a new weapon or armor."
[19:28] * Missile_Rush makes a note of those too as he awaits his answer.
[19:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap shrugs; "We got a bit of extra gear here, if you've got the caps."
[19:29] <TenMihara|GM>  In his search, Purple_Kay finds a broken machine of some kind that looks like it was only recently salvaged.
[19:29] * Missile_Rush nods. "What do you have?"
[19:29] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at Razor, shaking his head and chuckling a bit. "I don't believe we've met Miss...?" he looks at Purple_Kay "The name's Jake_Juice, but you can call me Jake for short."
[19:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap looks Missile_Rush over; "Well, if you're looking for rifles or such to mount on the other side of your saddle... what's that one you have now?"
[19:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver smiles; "Good enough."
[19:30] * Missile_Rush replies. "A .32 caliber bolt action rifle."
[19:30] <TenMihara|GM>  *Stable 94 is also marked on the map
[19:31] * Razor gives Jake_Juice a predatory look. "Would you give a reccomendation for him?" She's grinning even more.
[19:31] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap nods; "Well, best I can offer is a 5.56mm Bolt-rifle if you want something with a similar design." Double Tap's own saddle contains a pair of .357 repeaters. He also has a pistol holstered at his shoulder.
[19:31] * Purple_Kay "Purple Kay. Call me Kay or PK, whatever you prefer." A slight smile splits his scarred face. "And she's Razor." He drops his voice to a conspiritorial whisper. "Careful, she bites."
[19:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver chuckles and looks to Razor; "Good enough that he could probably find some work at Stable 69 if he was desperate."
[19:33] * Missile_Rush nods. "What of ammo? And how much for the rifle?"
[19:33] * Jake_Juice smirks and runs a hoof through Doc Silver's mane, then blinks at Razor, his smirk turning into a grin. He raises an eyebrow at Purple_Kay "Does she now? You know from experience?"
[19:34] * Purple_Kay trots past Jake toward the busted machine he saw behind him. He starts to poke around it when Jake's comment makes him freeze. "Nope. Just seems the type. Point for you."

[19:35] * Purple_Kay goes back to diagnosing the machine. "So, what brings ya to Flank. You don't seem like a local."
[19:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap smiles; "Ammo we're better off for. we have .22, .32, 9mm, .357 and .44. The Varmint Rifle, as we call it, since it's good for dealing with pesky critters, is 300."
[19:36] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Alright, I'm not one to turn down advice." he shrugs "Well... you could say I recently came here to... start over. To put simply."
[19:37] * Missile_Rush snickers softly. "Something tells me you don't do credit."
[19:37] * Razor gives an amused giggle. She most definitely bites.
[19:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap chuckles; "Afraid not. We're still waiting on a 1200 cap settlement for a prisoner that Caprice took in."
[19:38] * Purple_Kay "How'd you end up getting with Batty? If you don't mind me asking. Had a few encounters with her. She seems... odd."
[19:38] * Razor is getting a little hungry, speaking of 'bite'. She decides to dip into her stash and have a little snack.
[19:39] * Missile_Rush raises an eye. "1200 caps? What kind of pony raised a debt of 1200 caps?"
[19:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap waes a hoof; "A murderer. Only reason we didn't just shoot her is because the pony she killed was already wanted. However, we had to penalize her somehow for not checking with us or the ones who posted the bounty first."
[19:40] * Jake_Juice looks back at Razor as she giggles and chuckles before looking back at Purple_Kay "It's... I'm not totally sure to be honest. She is definetely an odd one and I don't know to much about her myself, but she said she'd stick around with me if I heal her up. Or that's the gist of it at least."
[19:40] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow. "Hmph. How pathetic."
[19:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap nods; "Yeah, she couldn't post bail, so Caprice is having her work it off in Stable 69."
[19:42] * Purple_Kay mumbles something about how nice it would be to have a companion with medical skills instead of problems from within the busted machine.
[19:43] * Missile_Rush realizes he's been hearing a lot about this Caprice. He decides to ask more. "I see." A slight pause. "Who precisely is this Caprice?"
[19:43] * Razor is a little busy stuffing her face to care what PK is saying about her.
[19:44] <TenMihara|GM>  The machine, as Purple_Kay looks into it, is an enclosed tube with a number of small arms sticking out. They seemed to be equipped with all manner of surgical implements.
[19:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap raises an eyebrow; "You're new around here I take it? Caprice more or less runs Flank."
[19:45] * Missile_Rush 's brow furrows a bit. "I gathered as much. But what does she do?"
[19:46] * The_Batmare taps her hoof on the lip of the building. How long could having sex take, sheesh.
[19:47] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap notes; "She officially acts as the proprietress of Mixers, but because of some skills she got from her old buck, she's more or less the best around these parts at keeping books and running numbers. She's the brains of most of the operations here, and handles most of the cash flow.
[19:48] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver notices Purple_Kay's tinkering; "Hey, hooves off that thing. It's broken enough."
[19:48] * Missile_Rush nods. "She's given me a job of locating a waitress of hers that's gone missing. I wanted to know more about her before I decided to go on."
[19:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap blinks; "Oh, you mean Copper right? Her little Sister lives in Chapel, and she goes there to give her money once a month, but didn't come back this time. If she was smart, she'd have stuck to the main road, but anything can happen out there in The hoof."
[19:50] * Purple_Kay sucks on his teeth. "Yes it is. Looks like it's missing a few odds and ends." He takes a mental inventory of what he would need to fix it. He really needs to scrounge up some new tools.
[19:50] * Missile_Rush nods. "Indeed. What do you know of Copper?"
[19:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver raises an eyebrow; "Think you can fix it do ya?"
[19:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap shrugs; "Pretty much everything I just told you. If she's been missing this long, she's probably dead, but Caprice just wants confirmation. We didn't have anypony to spare to go looking for her."
[19:52] * Missile_Rush raises an eye. "Why go through so much trouble for one pony?"
[19:52] * Purple_Kay "With the proper parts, and some tools, I think I have a good chance of getting it running again. As ya said, can't make it worse."
[19:52] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap smiles; "Caprice likes her fillies, and keeps them well so long as they do good work for her. Plus, apparently Copper was one of her favourites to spend the night with herself."
[19:53] * Jake_Juice idely looks over Razor's body as she eats and Purple_Kay and Doc Silver talk. Not bad.
[19:53] * Missile_Rush nods. "Hm. I see." He looks up. "And what about yourself? Who are you?"
[19:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver chuckles; "Yeah. Some ghoul with a mustache sold it to me saying it would revolutionize my business, but failed to mention that there was some assembly required. Tell you what; you get it working again, and we'll be square for your latest round of fixups. To sweeten the deal, I'll let you use it at 10% off."
[19:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap smiles; "Name's Double Tap, and I guess I'm the second in command around here. Mostly means I do the legwork while Lone Star takes his naps."
[19:55] * Purple_Kay "Considering my current company, that could really pay off in the long run." He crawls away from the busted Auto-Doc.
[19:55] * Missile_Rush nods. "Well met."
[19:55] * Razor glances back over toward PK and Jake_Juice as she finishes up her snack.
[19:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc silver chuckles; "You aren't kidding."
[19:59] * Purple_Kay cracks a warm smile. "Hear that kid, we're going scrounging. Not tonight though. Wouldn't hurt to find some sidejobs for tomorrow. Let's take a walk, if you're up for it."
[19:59] * Jake_Juice hmms and looks over Razor and Purple_Kay "I wouldn't mind tagging along, of course... however..." he looks at Silver and runs a hoof down her mane "I don't owe you anything, so I'd like to ask for a little bit more than just a discount if I go with them and help them get the parts. Caps, medical supplies, one or the other would be great."
[20:03] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver not to Purple_Kay; "You still got six hours left in the day."
[20:03] <TenMihara|GM>  notes*
[20:03] * Purple_Kay eyes the smooth-talking stallion. It doesn't affect their deal if he comes along, and if he is a doctor he could really be useful... He nods. "I'm alright with you tagging along. More the merrier and whatnot."
[20:03] * Missile_Rush nods. No use staying any longer. He nods to Double Tap. "I won't keep you any longer then. Good day."
[20:03] * Razor tilts her head to the side. "What kinda scrounging?" She grins. "Ooh, we gonna find something fun?"
[20:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver looks Jake_Juice over, "Well, I guess our little good time was worth a touch more than ten caps off. I'll throw in some medical supplies."
[20:05] <TenMihara|GM>  Double Tap waves him off, then goes back to the card game. The Scarred mare took the liberty of dealing him in while his back was turned, leaving him at a huge disadvantage in the current hand.
[20:05] * Missile_Rush exits the constabulatory and heads back into the street. No use staying here any longer - he heads into the street and trots off onto the road that'll take him to Chapel.
[20:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The North Exit of Flank leads to the main road, which passes by Chapel, Megamart and the Reaper Stadium.
[20:06] * Purple_Kay looks over to Razor. "It's Hoofington. Have you evert found anything useful without running into a bunch of 'fun'? I guess there is enough daylight to burn to go on a quick trip. I think Rooms had something about salvaging on the boards. Maybe we can kill two pegasi with one missile."
[20:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver notes; "Yeah, that was me. For the Auto-Doc."
[20:07] * Jake_Juice smiles and kisses Silver on the cheek "You're too kind madam." he then looks at Purple_Kay and Razor "Looks like I'll be coming with you then."
[20:08] * Missile_Rush considers, then backtracks a bit. There was somepony he needed to talk to first. He begins trotting to Mixers.
[20:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver smirks; "Don't get too friendly with me; I need a good lay every once in a while like any mare, but I don't get into the mushy stuff."
[20:08] * Purple_Kay nods. "Well, burning daylight. Let's head out."
[20:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Mixers is open, but after lunch is a relatively low traffic period but for the more Hardcore chem users. Caprice isn't around, one of the other serving mares behind the counter in her place. As Purple_Kay exits Doc Silver's clinic, he can spy Missile_Rush as the latter reaches Mixers. The_Batmare can also see Missile.
[20:10] * Purple_Kay "We'll be back tonight, hopefully with what you need, Doc." He heads out of the clinic
[20:10] * Razor grins wider at the comment about 'killing two pegasi'. That's such an amazing figure of speech. "Well if we're gonna be doing something fun, then I'm in!" She hops down off her perch and stretches each of her legs.

[20:12] * Missile_Rush looks about. A pity. Well...if he was going to get answers, it wasn't by standing about. He trots off, this time resolute about heading to the North Exit .
[20:12] * Jake_Juice laughs "Of course Silver." he stretches out a little bit as Purple_Kay starts to trot out "Looks like we're heading out then.."
[20:12] * Purple_Kay hollars at Rush, hoping to get his attention before he darts in the club.
[20:12] * Missile_Rush looks to Purple_Kay as he steps out. He doesn't speak or move closer, but he nods in acknowledgment.

[20:14] * Purple_Kay has the sudden epiphany that he has nothing to split with Rush if he invites him along, and Doc might not be willing to pay for a pony that didn't just give her a good... time. He trots up anyway, figuring to play it by ear.
[20:15] * Jake_Juice looks around for The_Batmare as he heads out of the clinic behind Purple_Kay.
[20:15] * Missile_Rush nods as Purple_Kay trots up. "Well met."
[20:15] * The_Batmare sees Jake_Juice exit the clinc and climbs down from her rooftop spot and goes to intercept him. Then she notices his company, "Why are you with them..." she glares at Razor, "And her...."
[20:17] * Missile_Rush nods to the others trotting over as well. He makes no indication of his irritation with The_Batmare.
[20:17] * Jake_Juice blinks at looks at The_Batmare "Oh, hey, wondered where you went. Going with them on a job, Doc Silver is paying me in medical supplies which I'll probably need..." he trots over to whisper to The_Batmare "...why? Something about them I need to know?"
[20:17] <Jake_Juice> and looks*
[20:18] * The_Batmare narrows her eyes at Razor, "She's a murderer." She looks over, "What job, exactly?"
[20:18] * Purple_Kay is given pause by the strange greeting. He shakes it off. "We're on our way to the old factory for a bit of scavenging. I figured the Kid would like a chance to thank you before we headed off." Good save, Oldtimer, good save.
[20:19] * Jake_Juice blinks "Interesting... going to help the town doc look for parts to fix this healing machine she has."
[20:19] * Missile_Rush simply nods silently. "I have my own job to fulfill. Where is this factory?"
[20:20] * Razor spits at the ground. "Oh hey. It's the freak." She returns the glare.
[20:21] * TicTac is now known as Boulder
[20:21] * The_Batmare "Save your insults vermin, the words of the wicked do not trouble me." SHe looks at Jake_Juice, "That is an honourable goal, many in the wasteland could make use of such technology."
[20:22] * Jake_Juice shrugs and nods "Yeah, plenty of ponies head to Doc Silver to get patched up."
[20:22] * Purple_Kay swivels an ear toward the Kid and Batty. Best to keep tabs on them. He continues facing Rush as he answers. "Northeast of town."
[20:23] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow. "I'm headed West."
[20:25] * Purple_Kay "Sorry to hear that. It was a pleasure working with you before. I'd offer to help you, but the deal we've worked out with the Doc is too good to wait."
[20:25] * Missile_Rush raises an eye. "What job is this?"
[20:26] * Razor flicks her tail at the costumed freak. "Maybe once we're done, the doc can surgically remove the stick from under your tail."
[20:27] * Purple_Kay "We're scavenging parts so I can fix the Doc's Auto-Doc. I figure I can get it running again. She's clearing our debt and giving us a lifetime discount."
[20:28] * The_Batmare "If you so much as touch me I'll shove one up yours. Once we're out of the town the Mixers are no longer the authority, don't forget it."
[20:28] * Missile_Rush nods, casting a glances at Razor and The_Batmare. "Stop that, both of you."
[20:30] * The_Batmare looks over at Missile_Rush with confusion painted over her face. Was this dumbass really trying to tell her what to do?
[20:30] * Missile_Rush is, as a matter of fact. His face makes that clear.
[20:30] * Razor gives The_Batmare a very, very twisted sort of grin. "And that's why I'm looking forward to it, freakshow."
[20:31] * Missile_Rush turns back to Purple_Kay, nodding again. "A worthy endeavor."
[20:32] * The_Batmare snorts at Missile_Rush, then looks back at Razor and shakes her head, "You would look forward to it, wouldn't you? Twisted thing that you are."
[20:32] * Jake_Juice hmms... digging out a bottle of Jake_Juice and offering to The_Batmare "You feeling okay hun'? I know I'm not exactly feeling the best right now, meant to give you another one of these when we got to the clinic but I got... distracted." he looks at Missile_Rush and shakes his head.
[20:33] * Purple_Kay steps goodnaturedly between Razor and the Batmare. "So, Bats, you coming along? You're Buddy seems amped to help out."
[20:34] * The_Batmare blinks, "Oh, um, thank you. I could use that, I am still sore." She takes the Jake_Juice and drinks it. "Yes Citizen. Healing the wounded is a worthy endeavor."
[20:37] * Jake_Juice 's eye twitches at the word buddy for some reason. "No problem hun'." he takes a bottle out and drinks it as well.
[20:38] * Purple_Kay "Well then, shall we get started. I prefer to do my poking around in the light." He glances back to Rush. "You're welcome to come along. I don't know what kinda deal you could work out with Doc Silver, but there might be something in it for ya."
[20:39] * Missile_Rush looks upon the others, and to Purple_Kay in particular. He considers for a while, then decides. He faces them. "My path might be westward, but I have questions that need to be answered. I will come along, but don't expect me to ask anything of you."
[20:39] * Jake_Juice looks at Purple_Kay and nods "Yeah, we should get going." he looks at The_Batmare "So, you tagging along?"
[20:39] * The_Batmare "Yes, for the third time."
[20:40] * Jake_Juice blinks "Right, sorry, mind drew a blank for a second there." he takes out his revolver and makes sure it's loaded.
[20:42] * Purple_Kay starts cantering toward the gates, glancing back to make sure the group is keeping pace. He does his best to keep himself between the Kid and Bats, for safety's sake.
[20:42] * Missile_Rush takes wing and flies ahead of the group at his own pace.
[20:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Heading North out of Flank, the first thing that catches the eyes of the wasteland travellers is the massive Hoofington Core, one of the towers of which reaches all the way up to the cloud ceiling. It lies to the north west, although it technically stands as the center of the region
[20:44] * Jake_Juice trots after everyone, staying close to The_Batmare.
[20:44] * Razor gives a quiet 'hrmph', and floats out her machete, biting down on the handle. It provides a welcome distraction.
[20:45] * Missile_Rush glances at the Core in his flight. Something about it seems ominous to him...he continues on his scheduled flight path.
[20:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The technological marvel features a number of monolithic black towers and a massive, thick wall around the exterior of the core.
[20:45] * The_Batmare walks calmly but keeps scanning the area for trouble
[20:45] * Jake_Juice stares at the core, not really knowing what to think of it.
[20:46] <TenMihara|GM>  From the air, Missile_Rush can spot the factory to the northeast. The building is a fair distance away, and would take about half an hour to reach on hoof. Missile could get there faster, or hang back with the rest of the group.
[20:47] * Razor doesn't really pay as much attention to her surroundings. She feels a bit more distracted than usual, and on-edge.
[20:47] * Missile_Rush is very, very tempted to go on forth and continue ahead, as is his usual M.O., but...he glances back at the group behind him. Something draws him back and he stays on course with the group, though he keeps his distance.
[20:48] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "So... Razor... who'd she murder exactly?"
[20:49] * Purple_Kay keeps alert, paying attention to Rush darting around the sky and the terrain around him. He occasionally swivels his ears back to make sure he would hear it if the mares actually got into it.
[20:49] * The_Batmare "A bum who could not even afford food."
[20:50] * Jake_Juice blinks "What... why would..." he sighs and shakes his head. "I'll keep an eye on her."
[20:51] * The_Batmare "I do not know."
[20:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush is privy to the conversation, but also catches shouting coming up the road, towards the group.
[20:52] <TenMihara|GM>  A closer look reveals an orange earth pony stallion running from a small pack of wild dogs.
[20:52] <Boulder> "MAGGOTS!"
[20:52] <TenMihara|GM>  The dogs bark and give chase, the leader jumping forward to snap at Boulder's heels.
[20:53] * Jake_Juice "Yeah, neither do I-" he blinks when he hears Boulder.
[20:53] <TenMihara|GM>  The dog can't quite get a clean bite
[20:53] * Missile_Rush glances ahead of him. His brow furrows...to investigate, or no? He calls to the others behind him. "I heard something ahead. I'm going to investigate." He looks forward and spies the pony. He calls back. "There are dogs ahead of us chasing a pony! Get your weapons ready!"
[20:53] <Boulder> "Oh no you don't!"
[20:53] * Boulder retaliates with a kick of his own.
[20:54] * Razor bites down harder on the handle of her weapon. Just what she needed to work out her frustration! When she hears what's up ahead, she trots faster, looking the part of a predator starting the hunt.

[21:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Boulder's heavy hoofed buck catches the lead dog square in the chest, knocking it back forcibly. It tumbles backwards, unable to remain on its feet from the force of the blow. The remaining trio of dogs leap over and continue attacking Boulder.
[21:01] <TenMihara|GM>  The remaining three dogs pounce on Boulder, biting and clawing at the slow, heavy buck.
[21:01] <Boulder> "Yeah, that's right! Eat my hooves! EAT THEM! AHHHHHH!"
[21:03] <TenMihara|GM>  One of the dogs completely fails to get a grip, while the other two each manage a solid bite on Boulder.
[21:04] <Boulder> "YEOUCH! BAD PUPPIES! BAD! NO TEETH!"
[21:06] * The_Batmare sprints over to the commotion and delivers a devestating double tap with her brass hoof to the enarest puppy, "Are you injured civilian?"
[21:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare manages a solid hit on one of the dogs, knocking it's bite lose from Boulder.
[21:08] <Boulder> "I am not a civilian!"
[21:12] * Missile_Rush readies his rifle and makes one well-aimed shot at one of the dogs. He chambers the next round, but the pony's screams distract him momentarily and he doesn't aim as well as he ought to. Growling softly, he chambers the next round as he tries to see how his shots went.

[21:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile's first shot misses entirely, and the second catches in the breach again.
[21:15] * Missile_Rush growls and clears the rifle. Damnit, he needs a better weapon.
[21:19] * Purple_Kay sighs. He hates killing dogs. Maybe killing one will get the rest to scatter. He lines up a shot, taking careful aim.
[21:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's discipline pays off as the other dog clinging to Boulder is nailed by the twinshot and felled.
[21:24] * Jake_Juice draws his revolver and moves up into short range, letting off 4 shots at the nearest dog.
[21:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice isn't a great shot, but lands a hit on the dog The_Batmare already softened up, dropping it.
[21:29] * Missile_Rush ([email protected]) Quit ( Connection closed )
[21:29] * Razor 's blood is pumping as she charges straight into the fight, grinning wide as she goes to slam right into the standing dog!
[21:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor misses spectacularly
[21:35] <TenMihara|GM>  The standing dog looks almost perplexed as Razor charges right past it without so much as touching it.
[21:35] * Razor frowns. Just a miscalculation!
[21:36] * The_Batmare "Impressive!"
[21:37] * Jake_Juice facehoofs.
[21:37] * Boulder yanks out his Combat Knife. "RAHHH!" He brings it down upon the still-uninjured dog twice.
[21:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Boulder messily slits the dog's throat, leaving it in a twitching heap.
[21:40] * Boulder grins.
[21:40] <TenMihara|GM>  The last remaining dog is barely able to get back on its feet, heavy bruising evident where Boulder bucked it. It spies the three dead dogs and decides it's no long worth it, turning around and limping away, wimping and holding it's tail between its hind legs.
[21:40] * Razor scowls She wanted that one!
[21:41] * Jake_Juice reloads his revolver and puts it away as the dog runs off. No use wasting ammo.
[21:41] * The_Batmare looks over at Boulder, "Are you okay Citizen?"
[21:42] * Boulder twirls his knife. "I am not a citizen, citizen. And I've been worse. A few dogs are nothing!"
[21:43] * Purple_Kay mutters something under his breath and starts trotting toward the group.
[21:43] * Razor spots the last dog trying to limp away, and gives a wicked grin as she chases it down. She still hasn't had her fun yet! She takes her frustration out on the dog, cutting it over and over and over.
[21:43] * Purple_Kay yells out as Razor darts after the poor beast, "Let it go, Kid!"
[21:43] <TenMihara|GM>  The dog yipes and yelps as Razor carves it apart
[21:43] * The_Batmare looks over at Razor, "Wow, you killed a puppy trying to run away. How strong you are."
[21:45] * Jake_Juice trots over to The_Batmare and chuckles at her comment, then looks at Boulder. "You're lucky we came along when we did, those mutts could've seriously hurt you. Or worse." he shrugs.
[21:46] <Boulder> "I would have been fine, I assure you, but I thank you for the assistance none-the-less."
[21:46] * Razor is breathing heavily. She ignores what everyone else is saying to her as she stands over the dead dog. She's pretty worked up.
[21:47] <TenMihara|GM>  The dog is an even bloodier mess than the one Boulder killed
[21:47] * Purple_Kay stands frozen. He seems particularly upset about the dead dogs, a far cry from the encounter with the radhogs.
[21:49] <TenMihara|GM>  the group is still about 10 minutes from the factory
[21:50] * The_Batmare "Shall we move on then?"
[21:50] * Razor stands there and stares at the dog's corpse for a few long minutes, until her breathing becomes steadier. Eventually, she starts thinking a little more rationally, and looks for the other dogs, to harvest any salvageable meat.
[21:50] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "Yeah, sure. Ready when everyone else is."
[21:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor can harvest one portion of raw dog meat form each of the other two dogs
[21:51] <Boulder> "Where are you headed?"
[21:51] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth, a deep scowl creasing his face. He trots past the carnage. As he passes Razor, he speaks in a hushed voice. "Uncalled for, Kid." And keeps moving.
[21:52] * The_Batmare "We are heading to a local abandoned factory in order to find parts to fix a medical device."
[21:53] * Razor stows the meat away, and scowls. Bet he would've been more disappointed if I took it out on the REAL source of my frustration. She gives a venomous look at The_Batmare, before following Purple_Kay.
[21:53] * Purple_Kay settles to his haunches a goodly distance from the scene on the most obvious path to the factory. He's settles in to wait, lipping out a soothing cigarette.
[21:55] <Boulder> "Mind if I tag along? I've got nothing better to do."
[21:55] * Jake_Juice looks over at Razor and shakes his head.
[21:56] * The_Batmare shrugs at Boulder
[21:56] * Jake_Juice looks at Boulder and shrugs "Uh... sure. I guess..." need to keep an eye on him...
[21:57] * Boulder nods. "Name's Boulder."
[21:57] * The_Batmare "I am The Batmare.
[21:57] * Jake_Juice "Jake_Juice."
[21:58] * Purple_Kay moves his cigarette from one side to the other. He talks to Razor without facing her. "Alright, Kid. When we get in the factory, keep an eye out for spark batteries and a wrench. I'll need other stuff to fix her machine, but those will be the hard things to find. If in doubt, nab it."
[22:00] * Razor doesn't really have any idea what a 'spark battery' looks like, but she at least knows what a wrench is. Despite her brief loss of self-control, she's not really feeling that much better.
[22:01] * Jake_Juice hmms "Alright... we should get moving then." he starts to trot towards the factory.
[22:02] * The_Batmare follows along
[22:02] * Boulder trots after the rest of the group bringing up the rear.
[22:02] * Purple_Kay gets up when the group catches up and keeps pace.
[22:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Ten minutes later, the group reaches what's left standing of the chain link fence around the perimeter of the factory. The main entrance lies just beyond, leading into the factory floor of the large building. There's a sign on the gate, but years of damage and weathering have made it illegible. There's also a half-destroyed sign on the factory itself
[22:05] * Purple_Kay squints his eyes, trying to read the faroff sign
[22:05] <TenMihara|GM>  'Equ str   -Rob   cs
[22:06] * The_Batmare keeps on walking, "Let us hurry."
[22:07] * Purple_Kay keeps a careful eye open on the ground, incase there are any surprises somepony has left behind. No telling who or what could be squating here.
[22:07] * Jake_Juice follows The_Batmare "Yeah, don't need this to take longer than it has to. Just be careful."
[22:08] * Razor hasn't stored her weapon away. Biting on the handle is making her feel a little less terrible. Otherwise, she follows in silence.
[22:09] * Purple_Kay keeps himself toward the center of the group, he's found the best way to not be on the receiving end of a nasty buck is to have bodies between you and the enemy.
[22:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Pretty much everypony can piece together that the factory belongs to 'Equestrian Robotics."
[22:14] * Razor can't, because she's not a smart pony. Also doesn't know anything about science.
[22:16] * Jake_Juice follows the group, staying towards the back. Because medic.
[22:17] * Razor is just following PK.
[22:18] <TenMihara|GM>  The door is shut tight with a heavy chain and a rusty padlock
[22:19] * The_Batmare "Can anyone pick locks?"
[22:20] * Purple_Kay "Well, I guess that's a good sign. Probably still stuff inside."
[22:22] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare can see some scrapes on the lock near the keyhole. Somepony tried and failed to get it open before
[22:23] * The_Batmare "A good lockpicker? No, anyone?"
[22:24] <Boulder> "I can buck it it ope nif you'd like."
[22:24] <Boulder> open if*]]
[22:24] * Purple_Kay "I fix things. The operative word in 'break and enter' is break."
[22:24] * The_Batmare "Yes, I can do that as well. Just trying the eaiser option first, citizen."
[22:26] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Don't know anything about picking locks I'm afraid, I could try, if I had some lockpicks. Probably couldn't open it though."
[22:26] * Purple_Kay "Well, even if I wanted to try, I don't have the tools. As much as I'd like to try the silent approach, I think you're kicking it in."
[22:26] * Purple_Kay "That or we could look for another way in."
[22:26] * The_Batmare turns around and bucks at the lock
[22:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Although the chains around the handle are still fairly sturdy, the padlock itself is old, rusty, and decrepit. One good, solid buck is enough to break the rusty latch
[22:32] * The_Batmare opens the door, "That was simple."
[22:33] * Jake_Juice nods "Indeed." he hangs back and waits for the others to head inside.
[22:33] * Razor rolls her eyes. Yeah, good job, freakshow. You can break a rusty lock. She can't wait for her chance to put her in her place.
[22:33] <TenMihara|GM>  A pair of turrets stationed near the interior door immediately open fire on The_Batmare; "UNAUTHORIZED PRESENCE DETECTED!"
[22:33] * The_Batmare enters le building and takes a look around
[22:34] <Boulder> "Oh shit!"
[22:34] * Purple_Kay picks up the chain. You can always find a use for a chain.
[22:35] * The_Batmare is suddenlt fired upoN! She teleports away!
[22:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare is impacted by two bullets from the turret's attack just before she can teleport away.
[22:40] * The_Batmare is shot through her teleportation field. Somehow. Magic. "Well that was unpleasent."
[22:41] * Jake_Juice ducks back away from the door next to The_Batmare "Yeah, I'd say so, you hurt bad?"
[22:42] * The_Batmare "i'm not even sure how they hit me! Because they were yelling and everyone when I teleported. Unless they were pointed directly at the door, but that'd be dumb luck, and also dumb! But I'm fine, not sure I can help in this battle given my skill set."
[22:54] <TenMihara|GM>  The turrets scan the area around the door. With The_Batmare and Jake_Juice ducking to the side, Purple_Kay has suddenly become an inviting target. They open fire once more.
[22:56] * Purple_Kay "Oh... balls."
[22:57] <TenMihara|GM>  Each Turret lets out a four shot burst.

[23:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Five of the shots impact the unfortunately unarmoured Purple_Kay, who's large build makes him an easy target.
[23:05] * Purple_Kay two bullets tear their way into his barrel while another clips his thick left foreleg. The other two leave thick, weeping furrows along his snout and cheek. That isn't gonna make him any prettier

[23:07] * Missile_Rush growls and places two aimed shots, one for each offending turret, as he rechambers to see what his shots have done.
[23:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Both of Missile's shots impact their targets, which spark as their impacted, but still look to be functional.

[23:16] * Boulder grabs Purple_Kay, and drags him out of the line of fire. "You need to get some armor."
[23:17] * Purple_Kay "I'm shot, not dead! Let me get a shot off!"
[23:19] * Boulder raises an eyebrow. "You wanna get shot some more?"
[23:19] * Purple_Kay puts up a second of halfhearted resistance, then lets Boulder drag him around the corner.
[23:23] * Purple_Kay waits for the stonelike Boulder to release him, then steps back around the corner. He takes an unhurried shot, then shifts back behind the protection of the wall and heavy door.
[23:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's shots blow out the turret on the left
[23:29] * Jake_Juice steps into the door way and lets off two shots before ducking back behind the wall.
[23:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Both shots miss the remaining turret
[23:34] * The_Batmare vanishes in a flash of purple light and re-appears on top of the last turret, slamming her hoof into it thrice
[23:37] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare pummels the turret until the casing dents and something important inside snaps, causing it to shut down.
[23:37] * The_Batmare "Robots. What are they good for."
[23:38] * Jake_Juice trots into the building by The_Batmare and chuckles "Hell if I know. Anyone hurt bad?"
[23:38] * Purple_Kay fishes out his canteen. He chases a serving of noodles down with a long draw on the canteen.
[23:38] * Razor tenses. She's still itching for a fight! She doesn't care that the others were running to hide! ... but as soon as she goes in to fight, that costumed freak swooped in and /stole/ it from her! She's pretty annoyed.
[23:40] * The_Batmare thinks swooping is bad, "Look in this room for the required suplies, it is best not to venture further into danger."
[23:40] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah, what she said."
[23:41] * Purple_Kay coughs. Water down the wrong pipe, surely. Flecks of blood splatter against the nearby wall. Probably from the scalp wound, those bleed easy. Nothing to worry about...
[23:42] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a sound like a klaxon horn and some flashing red lights; "Warning. Destruction of Equestrian Robotics Property Will not Be Tolerated. All units on alert! Intruders Will Be Terminated!"
[23:43] <Boulder> "Oh, well this is lovely."
[23:43] * Jake_Juice stays behind The_Batmare "Yeah... lovely is one way to put it..."
[23:44] * The_Batmare "I could use one of those healing potions, Jake Juice. And please, look in this room for supplies, whoever is looking."
[23:44] * Razor huffs in annoyance. She shouts out, "Bring it, you fucks!" ... which since she had her weapon in her teeth, sounded more like 'Mmm mmf mmfs!'
[23:44] <TenMihara|GM>  The current room seems to be an entrance hall. There are doors leading to the factory floor, and the administrative offices.
[23:45] * Purple_Kay moves up toward the Batmare. He stops at the first turrent and starts trying to scavenge parts. "Watch my back, please." It comes out garbled, he hadn't noticed the hole went clear through his cheek before.
[23:45] * The_Batmare climbs down and sinks into the shadows
[23:46] * Jake_Juice takes out one of his 'healing potions' and follows The_Batmare into the shadows to administer it to her.
[23:47] * The_Batmare "Thank you."
[23:48] * Jake_Juice nods as he crouches down behind The_Batmare "No problem hun', just try not to get shot to much."
[23:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The exploded turrert yields only a bit of scrap metal, but the turret that The_Batmare pounded into submission can be stripped for 1 Scrap Electronics and 2 Scrap Metal.
[23:51] * The_Batmare says from her un-shadows, "Check the desks as well."
[23:53] * Razor glances around, still annoyed. She follows PK, only vaguely remembering to keep an eye out for a wrench.
[23:53] * Boulder follows Razor & Co.
[23:54] <TenMihara|GM>  There is a single desk in the reception area with a terminal sitting on it.
[23:54] * Purple_Kay finishes stripping useful scrap from the turrents and laborously follows after the Batmare, hoping she and her buddy flush out any more surprises. He can't survive another.
[23:55] * The_Batmare is standing in place, "Check the reception desks... are you okay Citizen kay? Perhaps jake can see to your injuries in case we need to venture furhter in."
[23:56] * Purple_Kay "I could use a little something. These holes in my head hurt like hell."
[23:57] * Jake_Juice looks Purple_Kay over "Yeah, you definetely could use something." he takes out another bottle of Jake_Juice and feeds it to Purple_Kay.
[00:03] * Purple_Kay drinks the strong 'medical' cocktail. It burns like a bitch as some of it finds its way out the bullethole through his cheek. However, the overall effect is rather refreshing.
[00:03] * The_Batmare waits for people to sacevenge the rest of the room... when that doesn't happen she looks around for doors
[00:04] * Purple_Kay gives Jake a nod of thanks and starts flipping the room for scraps
[00:07] * Jake_Juice nods back but stays near The_Batmare.
[00:09] * Purple_Kay searches the floor and desk. He gets to the terminal and pauses. "I've never been good with these, anyone wanna give it a go before I try to scavenge parts from it?"
[00:10] <TenMihara|GM>  There are two doors from the entrance and reception area. One leading to the factory floor, the other leading to the administrative offices. Both are marked with signs.
[00:10] * Razor is still distracted by her adrenaline rush and her general annoyance, but she's clinging to Kay's request. She's looking for a wrench for Kay. Don't think about the freakshow. Deal with her later. Wrench. Wreeeench.
[00:10] <TenMihara|GM>  No wrench in the immediate area
[00:10] * The_Batmare "Offices, or factory floor. Which is more likely to find what we are looking for."
[00:11] <Boulder> "What exactly are you looking for?"
[00:11] * The_Batmare shrugs
[00:11] * Purple_Kay "Floor would have more scrap. Some of the tools might use the batteries we need. I'm gonna try my luck at this damn terminal."
[00:12] * Jake_Juice shrugs "A wrench and some other things I think." he nods at Purple_Kay "He knows what we need."
[00:12] * The_Batmare nods at PK, "Who here has TK?"
[00:13] * Purple_Kay grumbles at the terminal, "Nuts."
[00:14] * Razor glances over at Freakshow, grinning wide at that. She grabs Freakshow in her TK and lifts her up.
[00:14] * The_Batmare "Put me down or I will break your jaw again."
[00:15] <TenMihara|GM>  The terminal refuses to let Purple_Kay in. He is insufficient
[00:15] * Purple_Kay "Goat fucking son of a hermaphroditic Ranger Scribe!"
[00:16] * Boulder looks over at PK. "Daaaamn. Learn a new one everyday."
[00:16] * Razor giggles and suddenly drops Freakshow onto her back. Damn, that felt good.
[00:16] * Purple_Kay snorts. "Kid, smash the fuck out of this terminal. It can be scrap."
[00:17] * The_Batmare flips and lands on her feet, like a cat. "Are we done playing around? Okay. Ponies, line up along the wall the factory door is on. Razor, use your TK to open the door, then I'll peak out. This way we wont get surprised again
[00:17] * Jake_Juice facehoofs at Razor "Knock it off kid, this is no time for fucking around."
[00:19] * Purple_Kay notices a definite lack of smashing. Oh well, he was going to share the wealth... instead he examines the outside of the terminal for the best place to start smashing. He figures there has to be a way to get some scrap electronics out of it.

Apparently this plant was being shut down until further notice, pending an inquire into substandard parts and resulting injuries and damages, as well as faulty programming.

[00:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush shakes his head; "Useless."
[00:24] * Razor would have gladly smashed it, but looks like somepony else wanted a shot. She goes to stand next to Kay and wait.
[00:25] * Purple_Kay "Done with it? Cause it can be useful in pieces."
[00:25] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush nods and steps away; "All yours."
[00:26] * Purple_Kay has cooled off a bit, so he takes a moment to see if there is an easy access point to start pulling more intact bits free.
[00:26] <TenMihara|GM>  The easiest way to dismantle the terminal is to break either the screen, or pull the front of the casing off
[00:26] * Razor glances from Kay to the computer. She kinda wants to smash it. She still has a lot of pent-up aggression.
[00:27] * Purple_Kay looks over at Razor. "Batter-up kid. Bust open the front so I can yank the goodies out."
[00:28] * Razor grins. Alright! She gives the ground an enthusiastic stomp before she wheels around and gives the screen a good buck!
[00:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The screen smashes in easily, but the components give Razor a shock. Maybe should have unplugged it first.
[00:30] * Purple_Kay quickly digs into its innards, pulling what he can use free.
[00:31] * The_Batmare "Are we all ready?"
[00:32] * Razor is zapped a little, but that felt good! Really good! She takes a deep breath and lets it out.
[00:33] * Purple_Kay "One more minute, i need a good supply of scrap electronics to rewire the Auto-Doc. The turrents didn't give up much, so any other point defenses probably won't either. This is probably the best source we'll find."
[00:33] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare and nods "Yeah, ready when everyone else is."
[00:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay is only able to extract a few usable components after Razor's misfiring kick (1 Scrap Electronics)
[00:34] * Purple_Kay "Alright. Good here." He lines up as per Batty's plan.
[00:35] * The_Batmare "Okay, is everyone clear on the plan." She lines up next to the factory door, but hidden from view.
[00:36] * Razor rolls her eyes. "Open the door, you get shot, yeah?" She's grinning.
[00:37] * The_Batmare "Just stay out of sight along the wall the door is on." She looks at everyone.
[00:37] * Jake_Juice nods at The_Batmare "Good to go."
[00:38] * Boulder nods.
[00:38] * Razor just goes and sits next to PK by the door.
[00:39] * The_Batmare "Open the door."
[00:42] <TenMihara|GM>  The Klaxxon goes off again; "Intruders Are Advised to Surrender So That Their Deaths Will Be Quicker. Further Destruction of EqR Property Will Result In More Severe Termination. Have A Nice Day."
[00:44] * Jake_Juice rolls his eyes "Yeah, because dying is so much fun."
[00:45] * Razor blinks at the announcement. Yeah, sure. She looks to make sure everyone is in position before she uses her TK to open the door.
[00:46] * The_Batmare edges her head around the door to see what us on the other side, but is ready to pull back at the first sign of toruble
[00:48] <TenMihara|GM>  As the door opened, half a dozen robots that were milling about the floor turn to look at it, but when there was nothing there to see they want back to aimlessly wandering in search of the apparent intruders. There are 4 equine shaped security robots and 2 Brain Bots.
[00:50] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "How many are there?"
[00:50] * The_Batmare groans, "Six robots total. We do not want to fight that many in our state."
[00:50] * The_Batmare "I suggest we check out the offices, we might be able to find a manual shutoff of the secruity system, and they'll be more closed in making it harder for us to be swarmed."
[00:51] * Purple_Kay "works for me, same plan on the other door?"
[00:51] * Jake_Juice nods "Sounds like a plan."
[00:51] * Razor gives a derisive snort.
[00:51] * The_Batmare nods, "Razor close the door." She hoped nopony asks why she can't use TK
[00:52] * The_Batmare "Plan b is to throw razor at them, then run around whilst they are distracted."
[00:53] * Jake_Juice chuckles and shakes his head.
[00:53] * Razor is still itching for a fight, and is a little annoyed at being used as a door opener. She shuts the door, but takes longer than before and gives Freakshow a nasty look.

[00:58] * Razor opens the door. She's thinking of bucking Freakshow into the room and closing it behind her. It takes a LOT to resist that urge.
[00:59] * The_Batmare peeks into the room beyond the door
[01:00] <TenMihara|GM>  The first floor of the administrative area is comprised of half a dozen desks arranged throughout the room, with no walls separating them. Each of the four corners of the room holds a turret, all of which are sweeping the room, also looking for the intruders.
[01:01] * The_Batmare sighs, "Okay. Four turrets. better than six robots at least..."
[01:02] * Purple_Kay "Where are they?"
[01:03] * Jake_Juice shuffles his hooves uneasily.
[01:04] * The_Batmare "In the corners."
[01:04] * Purple_Kay I can probably get a shot at them one at a time, but watch the far door. Don't want robots sneaking up behind me."
[01:06] <TenMihara|GM>  All Four of the Turrets are Ceiling mounted

[01:08] * Purple_Kay starts to arc into the middle of their current room, trying to get an angle through the door to isolate a single turrent. He tries to be silent, but it isn't his strongsuit.
[01:10] * The_Batmare watches the factory door in case of sudden robot
[01:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's two shots impact the turret in the farthest corner, but are unfortuantely not quite sufficient to punch all the way through it. Immedately, both far end turrets turn and open fire on the door. As well, the two nearer turrets train themselves on the door as well.
[01:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Neither of them manages to hit Purple_Kay, in spite of his stocky frame.
