It's time that I post an announcement regarding the current situation of the community and plans for the future.

As you all are aware, the servers are dead.

Did I realize this just now?

Of course not, I've been aware of it and tried to stop it until I realized, it's beyond my ability to fix this issue this time.

I don't know whether these words scare the one or the other community member reading this or not, but if it did, yes, I'm closing the servers.

Before we continue, no I'm not closing the community.

I simply lost interest to invest my money for servers running gamemodes that barely anyone still plays, that being because the gamemodes are repetitive and barely satisfy the user.

Infact, I realized that I focused on making these servers and their gamemodes better, neglecting something the community requested for over a year til now, dropped, but I'm trying to say that in situations like these it is clear who is loyal and who is not, how strong this community actually is.

I don't know if we would still be Delta-Community today if we didn't have this strong community of members that look forward, improving the community while also extending its lifespan and not simply disbyet I tried to throw it out of my head and forget it, hoping that the community will do so with me.

However, I came to the conclusion that even I hoped for the wish that the community hoped for so long to come true.

It was playing on our unique DarkRP server.

It was last month that I started developing the server to be functional and playable again, building it together, piece by piece.

The server I worked and still do work on has the intention to bring back the unique gameplay we all experienced when the DarkRP server was still running.

A feeling that many still can't forget and have a hard time to recreate on another server, resulting in them messaging me day and night begging for the server to come back up.

Again, it was last month that I realized I have neglected my duties as owner of a community since the AngryCanadian incident, letting the community rot slowly, yet the community resisted.

I can clearly remember how I was apart of communities, how quickly they formed and how quickly they collapsed, whether it be because of failed management or a flawed community system.

In the two years of managing this community, I can say about myself that I always cared for it and tried to maintain it in order, not making the mistakes other communities have made, whether that be by giving each member a voice, have them participate in the development of the community and give them the feeling of truly being a part of the community, a feeling they should get and be granted to have once they join it.

I also tried to not have any diversities within the community, such as staff members and donators.

Staff members are here to serve as the managers of the community, a task to keep the services of it in the best shape possible.

Whether this task is to ensure that other staff members follow the rules they enforce, improve the services of the community themself or as already said manage the regular community members and ensure that each one follows the rules so each one of them can enjoy their stay in the best way possible.

However, while I knew that staff members can be easily managed and are essential for a community, there are donators are already mentioned.

I was too scared that the implementation of rewards for donators would blow the equality our community was built on out of sight.

But I also realized that running the services of the community will be harder without donations, then again donations are harder to achieve the lesser reward they offer.

More on this topic and where I'm going with it later on.

Back to what I was trying to say is that I always tried my best for the community and it's future, til now I believe I have achieved mostly good for the community while serving as the owner of it.

As already mentioned, I neglected the community for quite a while since the already mentioned AngryCanadian incident, spending my time mostly on games such as Defense of the Ancients 2 or Fallout 4 as of recently.

Any other community would have fallen by now, of course we lost quite the amount of our players due to the popularity of the gamemodes were running on our servers has anding like loose silk.

I'd like to say thank you to each member of Delta-Community for your contributions given so far.

Anyway, enough appreciation for now, aside from reminding everyone about the current situation of the community and how we came to this point, I'd like to talk about the long awaited updates that will settle the future of the community.

Some community members, among them high ranked staff members mostly, are already aware of a few of these updates and their presumed aftermath.

FIrstly and most known, we'll talk about DarkRP's return.

We all waited for clear confirmation whether or not DarkRP will make a return officially or not, mostly due to the constant cancellations of new servers in the past.

Anyway, DarkRP will come back, this time however I didn't want to simply say it will be released like I usually do, but I also wanted to give a release date.

The expected release is on the 18th of December, 2015 at 04:00 PM EST.

An earlier release is expected, but it'll be announced just in time if so.

Either way, from the point of release, we will be working on the rest of the updates, most of them affecting the community.

One of these updates will include the launch of the development division with their own applications.

The purpose of the development division will include discussed payment for contributions to the community that can range from code to artwork and sound.

Aside from the development division we will be launching the Deltaperia program, a advanced system to expand the community.

Each of these updates will bring various other updates along them, ranging from gameplay updates to system implementations.

Now, I hope that I was able to clear the confusion regarding which path the community is taking.
