H: No, you are one of those talented soldiers. Without you, there is no way we can have an even more meaningful discussion. However…. To have someone that’s not serious about this participate would be a problem.

H: Where on earth did he disappear to? Besides, there’s no smoke coming from the kitchen……………………is that Grey in the archives? He’s reading a…. strategy manual. Could he be studying this on his own? He left in the middle of a review meeting for this? But why….

H: I know that you left the review meeting to go and study tactics. However I don’t understand why….would it be better to study alongside the others.
G: I’m only here to protect the law of the shinobi.

G: Yeah, a shinobi acts as spy and follow others, so they’re usually on their own right? That’s’ why it’s better not to show my face to many of the soldiers. I’ve been warned that I can’t allow the whole army to recognise my face. It’s been a vital rule since long ago.

G: A shinobi’s missions are laden with danger….meaning it’s hand in hand with death. Even if I’m taken hostage by the enemy my allies will never know, so that I can complete my mission….shinobi aren’t allowed to get close to anyone…. That’s how it is.

G: This has been passed down for generations, a commandment of sorts.
H: You avoided me all this time without telling me…. But you told me all of this because you knew I would be against it?
G: Yeah, something like that.
H: If that’s the case…. Grey. You’re misunderstanding me.

H: We’re friends… I will definitely protect you. No matter how much distance you put between us, I won’t abandon you.

H: So please don’t drive yourself into a corner any more.
